I do hope you guys read this Author's note 'coz I'm not apologizing through your reviews. It's my fault for making it crappy. It was sweet at first, then got annoying. I know. Because I wrote it...

Sorry to my Stellar-chan, I know you took the time to read and review meticulously, but I just can't anymore (I lost interest and the got lost).

It's been a year since Cagalli went missing. No one knew where she was. Kira couldn't stop crying, thrashing everything around him, after he found out that she was missing. Everyone else pretty much felt unexplainable depression. It was hard for all of them to lose the ORB Princess. She was something else. She brought peace by bringing the Naturals and Coordinators together. Construction of the mobile suits at the PLANTs was put to a halt in memory of the young Athha representative. Kira went back to ORB and replaced her as the new Chief Representative. Shinn stayed behind in ORB, working under Kira Yamato, the twin brother of Cagalli Yula Athha.

"I wonder if she's still alive…" The raven haired Coordinator said as he carried a bunch of documents, going to Kira's office. He finally arrived and tried to knock. With both his hands busy carrying the papers; he just called out to him. "Kira, here are the papers you requested." He heard a slight sound coming from the other side of the door.

"Uhm… Sorry, but can you please open the door? I have my hands full…" Shinn heard Kira stand up from his chair, and then he was greeted by Kira's miserable face. "Don't look so sad… We still don't know where—"

Shinn stepped inside and put the mountain of papers on the table. Kira interrupted him mid-sentence, shouting, "Enough! Just… don't mention her!"

"She might still be alive! Why are you so negative? She's your sister! Have faith in her!" Shinn shouted back and caught the brunet off guard. He stepped backwards, and had his fists clenched. He wanted to believe that she's alive, but there haven't been any news regarding her whereabouts. He wanted to look for her himself but it made Lacus worry and asked Athrun to stop him by any means necessary. Athrun couldn't stop himself as well, but he knew that doing so would make others worry more.

"Just… leave… and don't mention her name in front of me. If you do, I'll punch you…" Kira warned the younger Coordinator. Shinn left his office with a sigh and closed the door. "Oh Cagalli… my dear sister… Where are you…?"

Shinn knew not to get upset by Kira's actions. He knew how it felt to lose a sibling. It was also hell for him. He loved her very much. For her to die before giving him a chance was difficult to accept. He wanted her to know and feel that he has changed dramatically for her.

It was almost evening so he decided to leave work. He first knocked on Kira's door, saying that he's going to go home. There was no reply but he went ahead and left the building. Going to his new apartment was just walking distance so he didn't really need any other sort of vehicular transportation. As he was walking through the pathway, he saw a woman kneeling down, talking to a child. Curious, he came closer and heard their conversation.

"…worry, kid. I'm sure your mom's looking for you right now. I'll stay here with you and wait together with you."

Shinn's eyes widened as he heard the voice of someone familiar. He cannot be mistaken. It was her… It was—

"Cagalli…?"

The moment Shinn said his love's name; the young woman stood up and turned to look at him. She was wearing a long green dress; her long, blonde hair was tied up, with a dark gray cloak draped on her. She was in shock as she didn't expect to see someone who knew her.

"Sh-shinn… Is that... you?"

The ruby haired boy hugged her tightly and blushed at his own action. The blonde hugged him back and now she was crying, her head buried between his head and shoulder. "You're alive… I can't believe it…"

They broke the hug and looked at each other in the eyes. Both hazel and ruby eyes were shining like jewels and it showed how much love they have for each other right now. "You're right, Shinn. Maybe I did love you…. I… came back after hearing your voice, calling out to me…"

"I knew you were alive. I had faith that you're just not physically here and all…"

"I'm sorry… I just felt like I would cause problems for everyone if I just came back…"

'Don't you know how much I looked for you when you weren't in the building that day? Everyone panicked! Kira even punched me because he accused me of doing something horrible to you! I cried day and night... I don't want to lose my chance...so, will you marry me?"

Cagalli's face was now red. She heard him right. He said 'marry'… right?

"Marriage..? Shi-!"

"I know, I know… We have to actually date first before I propose to you and then get married…."

"Oh, Shinn…"

The blonde tomboy threw herself at Shinn and they both fell down. Cagalli was on top of Shinn and she smiled brightly before giving Shinn a passionate kiss on the lips. The Destiny pilot didn't hesitate to kiss her with even more flame and passion.

"How much did you hope that I'm going to come back?"

"How much? I'd say, the whole time you went missing… up till now…"

"I love you, Shinn Asuka."

"I love you too, Cagalli Yula Athha…"

After a year, this fic finally ended with 15 chapters. *sigh* I didn't feel like continuing this after the 2nd half. Stupid brain decided to change the plot... *sighs deeper* I was too desperate to finish this.
