It was late. Really really late. And quite frankly Austin was having trouble falling asleep. He missed Ally. This tour was just dragging on and on and the only thing he had to keep him going was the constant texts and video chats and phone calls. Like the one he was having right now.
"Ally I miss you so much it hurts." He whispered watching the headlights of the cars in the lane next to him. Every one of them had a story but it probably was a lot happier than his.
"I know. I miss you too." She said wiping away a couple of silly stray tears. "But just wait the second you get home we'll pick up where we left off okay? It'll just be us."
"No Elliot." He answered.
"No Kira." She replied playfully.
"Just you and me." He said. "Just us." And it was a promise he intended to keep.
