A/N: The 2nd part of this arc. Thanks for reviewing. It's great to read reviews by my viewers and followers. I don't know if you know this, or it's painfully obvious, but I play League, as well. (Shocking!) Anyways, if you wanna play with me, just add me on there. My username is saiyoh. Anyways, this is a long chapter. Please read and review. Thanks.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring you the first ever Piltover's Children Pageant. We have 20 lovely boys and girls competing to be the star of this town. Today, we have 3 guest judges who will be with us to determine who will win. First off, we have our fashionista who knows the best clothes and jewelry and should have. He is the owner of the best diamonds and jewelry franchise in all over the world. He is also a champion reigning from Demacia. Please welcome, Taric, the Gem Knight."

"Ha ha ha ha, more than just precious stones, I bring you an ancient power.

"She is the rising idol and upcoming rise-to stardom celebrity. With her recently released single, "Genie" which topped this month's music charts. Her kisses can drive any man or woman to fall in love with her. You may know her as the nine-tailed fox from the Fields of Justice. Give it up for, Popstar Ahri!

"If you'd like to play with me, you'd better be sure you know the game, giggles."

"Don't forget, next week will be her first concert here in Piltover. Look forward to that."

"AHRI! AHRI! AHRI! AHRI! AHRI!" cheered the people, mostly dads, in the crowd. Ahri then blows a kiss to the audience. "AHRRRIIIIIIIII! MY LOVE!"

"And finally, we have a last minute judge. He is the chief of the Piltover police force. He did not threaten me to be a judge here, and he did not threaten to end my life. Here with us, the Defender of Tomorrow, Jayce."

"Ah-hem, well then, it's an honor to be INVITED here to be a guest judge, and to be next to the lovely and famous Ahri. She has the voice of an angel and the looks of a godes- er-umm moving on. I'm glad to be here judging today."

"Well then, without further ado, let's bring out the contestants."

In the Audience

"Awww, aren't these children really cute? Look at the dress on her. She's so adorable. I just want to hug them all." Awed Sona.

"Can you stop gushing like that? It just makes me wanna vomit. Bleh." Jinx and Sona were in the crowd waiting on Annie to come out and present herself. After some clothes shopping and practicing for her talent show, Jinx believed they got what it takes to win this whole damn thing. Sona was wearing her casual arcade attire, while Jinx had to disguise herself with her hair down and sunglasses. "I can't believe that dumb hammer guy is here. Because of him, I have to wear this stupid dress."

"But, I let you borrow my dress. You think it's stupid?" Sona pouted.

"No no no, that's not what I meant. It looks good on you, but it looks pathetic on me. I mean look at this. Without a nice big pair of tits, this thing is just too lose. Here, I'll be back and get some fruits to fill this thing. What size are you, apples, grapefruits, melons, or watermelons?"

"I'm…I'm not that big, but you can't leave now. Annie might come out on stage. Wait! There she is." On stage was the last of the contestants. There she was wearing a green dress and a sash. Her hair was dyed blonde, with a tiara accessory on top of her. "Wow she looks pretty. I can't believe Annie can be really beautiful girl with just a touch of make-up and a beautiful dress to go with it."

"You betcha ass she's cute. I ain't worried at all, cause she got this whole thing in the bag. Trust me, I'm her newly appointed producer."

At the Stage

Annie was the final contestant to present her appearance and wave to the audience. Her smile and giggles got good reviews from the judges.

"Oooooh, that dress definitely compliments her hair and blue eyes. I can see the confidence and fire in her eyes, but why do I feel scared and burning sensations around my body?" Said Taric.

"You're right." Said Ahri. "I feel like we know her, but why do I have goosebumps. Doesn't she look familiar, like we know her from somewhere? I just can't put my mind to it."

"Actually, if you change her hair to some other color. Then, imagine a backpack and some sort of stuffed animal, like a bear." Suddenly, Taric eyes were wide open as he trembled in the shock of discovery. "No, no it can't be. You're…you're…."

"Taric? What is it, pal? Are you doing okay?" asked Jayce.

"I can't be here. I have to get out of here. It's her. It's the Dark Child."

"Who? That girl right there?"

Ahri still wondered who it is, "Hmmm, can I ask what is your name little girl?"

On stage

Annie came on stage and was about to introduce herself. Everyone in the audience, except for Jinx, thought she looked lovely in her dress. Everyone assumed she was thinking about cute things like animals, rainbows, and other cute things, but behind that optimistic emotional face lies what she was really thinking. This is what she was really feeling right now: "Fuck you, Jinx! Fuck you, Jinx! FUCK YOU, JINX! I curse you to the hottest depths of hell, and you get, not 2nd or 3rd, but 10th degree burns. What kind of shitty dress is this? Green is not even my favorite color. It's red…RED! It's too damn tight on me. I look like one these damn bilbo kids on stage. I don't even know why I'm here. Of course, this is just to advertise my findings for Tibbers. I'm doing this for Tib-."

"Hmmm, can I ask what is your name little girl?" Ahri interrupted her thoughts.

"My name is Annie." All three judges were silent and letted that information sink into their heads.

"Annie? You mean the Dark Child, Annie?" asked Jayce.

"Well, that's the title summoners gave me."

"Annie? The demon child and hell bringer down mid-lane? What is she doing here? Does she even know where she is?" asked Taric.

"I don't have a clue. I'm still scarred from the last time we fought against each other on the Fields of Justice." Said Ahri. "Some of my tails haven't grew back to their pristine form after that fireball spamming." Ahri shuddered at the thought of her memories with Annie.

"Should we ask why she's here?"

"No, don't do anything to make her mad." Said Jayce. "There are parents here with their children in the competition. Now, do you want angry letters on why their children were burned to death? Just let her enter as she pleases. We'll just give her honorable mention when this is over. Just find a trophy and sash for her. Are we clear on this?" They both nodded. "Good. Well then, Annie, we're looking forward to what you have to present later."

"Tee hee, I'm just happy to be here." Said Annie with a forced smile on her. She then left the stage.

"Who knew she could actually pull off the blonde look." Said Taric.

Back of the Backstage

At the shadows part of the backstage, two guys were talking to each other.

"Alright then, so here's the plan. When they crown the winner of this pageant, you switch off lights, then bring the van up to the exit. I will grab the winner and we can get the hell out of here."

"Sounds like a good plan, but what are we going to do about the police chief? We going to do this right in front of him?"

"Don't worry, I got that taken care of." The two guys witness as Jayce was drinking from his class. "He will be out-cold in a few hours."

"Okay, this sounds like a legit plan and all, but I have just one more question."

"What is it?"

"You're not a pedophile, right?"

"Wha- WHAT THE HELL, MAN? What gives you that idea?"

"I mean, well, we're going to kidnap a small child to take to the van, which, by the way, is your van. It's kind of creepy how tinted those windows are."

"I'm not a god damn pedophile, you dumbass. We're just kidnapping the winner for the goddam ransom. C'mon! Use your head. Parents are actually spending hundreds of gold just to pretty up their kid. Who knows how much ransom we will get from a filthy rich family?"

"Okay, got it. Just making sure."

"Alright, we'll rendezvous at the van."

Back on Stage

"Thank you for your performance, of singing my song, again….for the 5th time." Ahri sighed. "I can't believe this thing just went downhill to boresville. I mean c'mon how many times we are going to hear them singing my song just to suck up to me?

"Yeah, not even one of these girls don't stand out from each other. Just a clone of a clone of a clone. I wish there was something interesting from at least one of these kids. At least this will be the last contestant." Taric looked at who was next on the list. "Well, this might be interesting."

"So, who's our last kid?" asked Jayce.

"It's the Dark Child, Annie."

"Alright, just like we planned. Everyone has to compliment her, and nothing negative. Then, we give her third place. We tell her, she was really good, but was really close to winning, got it?" Both Taric and Ahri agreed with his plan. The last thing they wanted was to upset a girl who was capable of burning a building down without a care who was in that said building. Annie walked out on stage. All three judges were surprised on her choice of costume she changed into. She was wearing a traditional red Chinese dress with a silk purple outfit underneath. Annie hair color was dyed from blonde to black and styled into a short bob with twin-buns in her hair and accessorized with a cute panda head piece.

"Wow, that is definitely a unique way to dress a child." Said Ahri. She was amazed how a simple costume change could change the outlook of a child.

"I love how the golden patterns flow and matches the theme she is displaying." Complimented Taric.

"This is clearly a surprise, and now I'm curious what she's going to do." Said Jayce. "I wonder what kind of guardian would dress her up like this, let alone actually getting Annie to be up here.

"Yeah, that's my girl. Woooo!"

"Jinx, you're going to embarrass her."

Annie was actually nervous about performing on stage. This was a big moment. If she won this thing, then she could actually use her winning status to extend her search for Tibbers. This is all going according to plan, thanks to Jinx and Sona. "This is it. I can do this. Just remember why I'm doing something so pointless, for Tibbers." Annie motivated herself. "Here goes nothing."

"Before I perform my talent, I would like to dedicate this to my best friend was always there for me, through thick and thin, fighting side-by-side. He was with me when I was growing up. Always cheered me on when I was sad or down. Nothing could replace a friend like that. Wherever you are, I hope you are to hear this. I want to say that I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being a selfish and ungrateful girl, and I get that you don't want to be around a girl like that. I just hope you are able to hear this."

The lights slowly faded to a dim impression, thanks to Jinx. Annie grabbed a handful of firecrackers from her pockets and lit them up. She threw them up in the air. Then, she grabbed two sparklers, lit them up, and put them in each hand. The fireworks created a small firework boom. It gave a shock to the audience, but it was like looking at a firework show up close near the ground. Annie used her sparklers to create a design in the sky with the many fireworks she threw in the air. Annie's dancing was beautiful and flowed beautifully with the sparklers, as if she was dancing with fire. She made a fire-lit dragon. After that faded, she made fire-lit faces of Jinx, then Sona. She made a panda-like Tibbers as her last design. Annie then took out a huge firework ball and threw it in the air. Annie then pulled out a saber and lit the saber to act as a flame sword. With a quick slice. She split the firework ball in half. Suddenly, the firework ball flashed into a beautiful array of flowers made of fire. The fire flowers bloomed into the audience, floating around like fireflys. After the fire flowers faded out, the room's light turned on.

Everyone was stunned at the beautiful display performed by just a little girl.

"Unbelievable."

"Wow, just wow."

"Amazing."

"Did you see that, Jinx, did you? What a beautiful fireworks show. I would like to see that again."

"It was a good show, thanks to me. Well, it could've been better if something or someone caught on fire."

"That was such an extraordinary display of fireworks in such a close space. Such control, such passion, such beauty." Said Taric.

"Annie's speech at the start had so much meaning, which was carried hard by such a performance that couldn't be performed by no one, except her." Said Ahri.

"Her use of her abilities to control the fire into something such beautiful deserves a stage of her own. Who knows what she could do as an adult. Just thinking that gives me shivers." Said Jayce. "I can clearly say who the winner is. Change of plans, guys. I know who to pick."

"Same here."

"Way ahead of you."

"Good. Well, let's do this fast, because I'm getting tired all of a sudden." Jayce yawned. "Man, it feels like someone slipped something in my drinnn…" Jayce slowly laid his head on the table.

"Damn, he fell asleep too early. Well, at least the winner was pretty obvious. Let the show begin." The lights of the room suddenly shut off. Everyone in the crowd started to panic at the sudden lack of lights.

"Hey, who turned off all the lights?"

"Is this part of the show also?"

"Somebody get the lights." When the lights were turned back on, Annie was missing from the stage.

"Hey where did she go?" asked Taric. "Annie? Annie? Are you around here?" no response. "Oh no, could she be kidnapped?"

"Hey, police chief. Wake up! We got a big crisis on our hands. We can't find Annie." Ahri tried to wake Jayce up, but he wouldn't budge.

"Jinx! Does that mean Annie was kidnapped? What are we going to do?"

"I'll tell you what we'll do. Not stay here and worry. C'mon she couldn't have gone far. If that person thinks he can steal from me. Boy, he thought wrong. Alright Sona, meet me out by the parking lot. I got to grab something."

Inside the Van

Annie stirred awake and was wondering where she was. She figured out that was in a moving vehicle, but what surprised her was that she was tied up. "Hey! What's the big idea?"

"Damn, we should've got something to cover her mouth. Well, who cares, just get her to give her parent's phone number."

"Wait till I burn you guys and watch you explode."

"Just try it, girly. If you kill us, who's going to drive this van, you?"

"I can if I want, you idiot!"

"Hey, stop messing around. Get her to cough up her parent's number."

"Ha! Jokes on you. I don't have any parents."

"My partner and I know that's just a bunch of bullshit. I mean look at you, only rich and stupidly caring parents would take a dumb girl like you to a pageant. Look at your clothes, how could you afford something like that."

Flashback

"Doesn't that look nice on her, Jinx?" Sona was complimenting on Annie's outfit.

"Ehh, it's alright. This would work if Annie can speak Chinese. I mean how much is this?" Jinx looked at the price tag on the costume. "Well, then. Let me ask again. Sona, do you think this dress looks good on her?

"It looks too adorable on her."

"Annie, you like this dress."

"I like how it looks on me. It makes me feel oriental. Maybe I could change my hair to match it."

"Okay….Sona grab Annie."

"What, why?"

"And…..RUUUUNNNNNN!" Jinx threw a smoke grenade down on the ground. All three ran out of the building.

End Flashback

Annie smiled. "I have a couple of great people taking care of me."

On the Road

Jinx was driving a police car with Sona in the passenger seat. "Alright, I think I have sights on the getaway vehicle."

"Are you sure? How can you tell Annie is in there?"

"Isn't it obvious, a white van with tinted windows? Totally a pedophile with our poor Annie in there."

"Don't you think that's a stereotype?"

"Nope not at all."

"….And I think it was wrong to take a chief of police's vehicle."

It was his fault for sleeping. I mean who sleeps at the job. I was doing him a favor….by taking his keys and tracking down the kidnappers.

"…..well, if you put it that way, then I guess it's alright." Sona said hesitantly.

"Good, now be a dear and hold on the wheels, while I shoot down the van with Fishbones here."

"But I don't have a driver's license. Also, I can't dri-wait? STOP! DON'T SHOOT!" yelled Sona.

"Don't worry, I won't miss."

"What about Annie? She's in there."

Jinx stopped what she was planning, and she put away her rocket launcher. "You do have a point there. This is boring rescue mission, then."

"What should we do then to save her?"

Jinx looked up for an idea to come to her. Then, she saw something in the distance. Some shadow was jumping from building to building. Jinx smiled at the sight of that. "Actually, we don't have to do anything."

At the Van

"Okay, I have had enough with this little bitch. If she won't cooperate, just shoot her anywhere on the body. She'll bleed profusely, but she'll live."

"Got it." He grabbed his gun and pointed at Annie's hand. She couldn't move her legs and hand. She was kidnapped, tied up, yelled at, and held up at gun point. This was the first time she felt a feeling like this in a long time: fear. Tears started to fall from her eyes. She didn't want to get shot. The fear of dying finally caught up to her. She yelled out one last thing before she was shot. "HELP ME, TIBBERS!"

"RAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" The giant shadow leapt from the top of the building and ground smashed the front of the van.
