Author's Note;
It didn't take as long this time! YAY!
Anyways, sorry that this is a short chapter, but I am really tired at the moment and I don't really have an excuse for not writing a whole chapter, but I only wrote about half of one this time...sowwy 3
Promise the next one will be longer? (maybe...)
Haven't had anymore reviews which is sort of sad, but all well.
Oh and my friend and I are doing a collab story on Wattpad if you want to check it out. Our SN is CollabAuthors and the stories title is Raging Wind it is under the Teen Fiction section.

Neither of us said a word as we walked because there was nothing to be said anymore.
We'd called the pack and told them to get to the loft ASAP. I'd even called Shayne.
Reaching the loft, we stopped outside the door,
"Something's wrong…" Derek hissed and indeed, something did feel wrong, there was an air of…incompleteness.
'It's probably nothing" I said unconvincingly, more to myself than to Derek, trying to calm my raging heart, what if she was standing behind that door?
"Hopefully" He agreed, opening the door and taking a cautious step in.
"Don't be silly Derek" I muttered, walking in myself and ignoring the rapid beat of my heart which was the only give away that I was terrified,
"Kayla!" arms wrapped around me and suddenly I was struggling to breathe properly from how tight I was being hugged.
"Wha. Who….Why?" I spluttered as I was released,
"You don't remember me?" the man before me looked at me sadly,
"But you were only a baby when we met. Can you at least guess?" he asked raising an eyebrow in a challenge.
This was all too weird for me.
This guy had green eyes like mine with almost the same shade of coppery brown hair. The shape of his eyes was similar to Rebecca's and so was the shape of his nose,
"You're my uncle…." The realisation hit my like a brick wall, and I had to take a step back to soak in this information, my eyes still trained on this guy's face.
"Jon" he stuck out his hand for me to shake, becoming rather formal for an uncle all of a sudden,
"Kayla who is this?" Derek asked,
"He's my uncle…" I said, my eyes flicking to Derek before returning to Jon.
"I didn't know you had an uncle" Derek hissed, he was pissed off, that much was clear, but it wasn't my fault,
"I didn't either" I reminded him sceptically.
"I can't believe you remember!" Jon said excitedly,
"Ok, where is she?" it was time to get serious now.
"Where's who?" he asked innocently,
"Cut the crap Jon. Yeah yeah, you're my long lost uncle, it's amazing to meet you, you look so much like mum, and how have you been? Blah blah blah. Now where is she?" I asked again.
"Fine, she told me to tell you that it wasn't her that did it and that she needed to do some serious explaining and that you should trust me. She also said that you would know where to go to meet her when I tell you that it is where you first saw her."
"I do know where she means" I nodded, she was talking about the bit of the forest that she'd first come across Derek and I when she had come back from the dead,
"Oh and you need to bring you dad and I" he added as an afterthought.
"When do we leave?" I asked,
"Now" Jon replied with a shrug.
"I'm coming" Derek piped up suddenly,
"Not going to happen" Jon replied, acknowledging Derek for the first time,
"He's right, you should stay" I agreed with Jon on this one, there was no point in dragging people down with us.
"Kayla she's tried to kill you how many times now?" Derek hissed defensively,
"I'm sure she'll explain, besides Jon's here" I supplied, not really sure how much use he would be if my mother really did try and kill me again.
"You just met him!" Derek protested, hands flying in the air, technically he had a point,
"He's my uncle Derek" I retorted, my argument was weak but I was stubborn as hell.
"So? You. Just. Met. Him" Derek repeated,
"I trust him" I lied through my teeth,
"No you don't. Stop lying Kayla"
"Fine Derek! I did just meet him and no I don't trust him yet but I need to figure out what the hell is going on. If the only way to do that is to go into the woods with him and my father than that what I am going to do. If risking getting killed by her again will keep you safe then guess what I am going to do it. If I can help in any way, I will. You can't stop me from doing this Derek and you know it" I spoke without taking a breath, the words rambling out of my mouth.
"The person we least expect Kayla. What if that person is you?" the fear was obvious in his voice, the fear that I would die, the fear the everything would go wrong, the fear that the pack was going to get hurt, the fear that he might lose me.
"It won't be" I promised. I had no right to make that promise because I couldn't technically keep it, someone was going to die no matter what we did, but I could still try to stop it.
"Come on Kayla" Jon muttered, sensing the discussion had been drawn to a close, without another word I walked back out of the loft, not looking back at Derek as he stood there.
