"Where the hell are we?" Caroline wondered, trying to keep the panic out of her voice. She wasn't sure if she had liked what had just happened, especially since she couldn't figure out how it had happened.
"I only brought you three? Crap. I wasn't strong enough," Bonnie commented.
"Hey, from what I know, world-jumping's hard enough to do when you're doing it to yourself. You did fine," Damon assured, causing the others to look at him in surprise. They weren't used to the older vampire being so nice about things. However, the only person who didn't say anything was Elena. She just stared at Stefan. Then, before anyone knew what was happening, she had blurred to him, grabbed him, and started kissing him. Everyone let them go on for a few minutes and then Damon coughed discreetly.
"While I'm glad that you two lovebirds are back together, this is getting awkward," he stated.
"Sorry," Elena said sheepishly. For an answer, Damon just gave her a dismissive wave of his hand. Truth be told, he didn't mind that she had immediately started kissing Stefan. Well, not completely. It was just further proof that they had the real Elena back. And that was the only thing that mattered: that his friend was finally back.
"So brother, you want to tell us what exactly is going on?" Damon asked and the younger vampire quickly explained everything that had transpired.
"Wait. Captain Hook is real? Are other fairytales real too?" Caroline answered. Because that would be cool. I always wanted to be Snow White, she thought to herself. Not that she'd be able to since she had blonde hair, but hey, no fantasy was perfect, right?
"Yes Captain Hook's real, and Emma mentioned Rumplestiltskin, so I'm assuming other fairytale characters are real," Stefan replied. And he wasn't really sure how he felt about that. Having to deal with Captain Hook or Peter Pan was bad enough. He really didn't feel like having to worry about running into anyone else. Hook was reckless and willing to do anything he could to further his own agenda and Pan…well…Pan was a whole different matter entirely.
"Well, look, you just came here to save your pet, right? And if your pet's perfectly fine, you can leave," Damon said reasonably.
"Actually, I can't. She still has someone after her," Stefan answered.
"Pet?" the others chorused, giving each other confused looks. What did that mean?
"Long story," Stefan answered. To be honest, he didn't want to get into all that as it didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was making sure that Emma stayed safe. Well, that and stopping Hook from doing whatever it was he had planned. But yeah, they could figure that out later. And now that Damon, Caroline, and Elena were here, he had a little more help as well as a bigger support system. Meanwhile, after Regina's display of light magic, Cora had retreated to Hook's ship and was using her magic to throw things around. She couldn't believe this had happened! Regina had used light magic! She had bested her with a form of pure magic when it shouldn't have been possible! Hook watched her, a frown on his face. Ever since she had been bested by her daughter, Cora had been throwing things around in a fit of temper.
"This isn't helping, Cora," he stated. "Now, why don't you just calm down and we can come up with a different approach?" he suggested. For an answer, the woman let out a shriek of rage as she used another wave of her hand to throw things across the room. "Look, you said you wanted to use the vampire against them. Why don't we just talk to him? I'm sure we can entice him over to our side," he continued. A creature such as that would make a powerful ally. Oh sure he was apparently on the side of Snow White's daughter, but there had to be a way to get him to change his mind. But of course they had to go through the witch. Well, that was no matter. If they could convince one, the other would be sure to follow. And then he could finally have his revenge on Rumplestiltskin. That was all that he really wanted. And it was for that reason alone that he was working with Cora. Once the man was dead, he'd go on his merry way. Well, after seeing if he could entice Snow White's daughter into changing alliances. After all, he hadn't meant to hurt her. It wasn't his fault that she had jumped in the way of his hook. And of course that had led this vampire or whatever the boy was straight to Storybrooke. So yeah, he was going to work with Cora just a little bit more. Hopefully, he'd be able to kill Rumplestiltskin soon. He wanted to make that crocodile pay for what he had done to his love. Oh Milah. Don't worry. I'll get you justice, he thought to himself. He wasn't going to let things end this way. He was going to make sure that things were made right. And the only way to do that was to destroy the man that had murdered her. An eye for an eye and all that rot. Yes, that would be the sweetest justice. The pirate smirked. Yes, he could hardly wait. He'd help Cora up until he got his next chance to deal with Rumplestiltskin, and then he'd leave her to her own devices. After all, he hadn't agreed to weather her temper tantrums when he had first signed on for this. Cora's eyes flashed as she continued her silent tirade. She couldn't believe this was happening. How could this have happened? How could Regina be able to overpower her like she had? She had never even hinted at being knowledgeable at light magic. And yet she had harnessed it and had used it to counteract her own magic. Well, that was just unacceptable and that meant she would have to remind Regina about her place. She had learned once, she would learn again. Yes, she had a plan and this would work. She would get show her daughter just what she was up against and then she would fall into line. She had once. She just had to make it happen again. And once she did, she could finally give her daughter everything that she deserved. After all, she was a queen and she needed to start acting like one. And she would. She'd learn how to do that again. Regina would come to her senses, become the queen she was supposed to be, and she would be grateful to her. Love was weakness and Regina would re-learn that if she had to use her magic on her again. She would see that she didn't need her so called friends and family. She was the only family that Regina needed. Only she could give her what she needed. And soon, Regina would remember that and come back to her with open arms. She just had to be patient. She just had to wait for her to see that she couldn't trust anyone else. And for that to happen, she needed to isolate her from the others. She needed to make them hate her. Yes, it was a harsh thing to do to her own daughter, but it was for the greater good. It was only a matter of time before she saw it her way…
