Hey guys! Did you miss me? Pfft, I know you did. Anyways…Here is chapter 20!

I woke up in a new room. It was nice, cream colored walls. There was white colored, matching furniture: a TV stand across the room with an alarm clock and a lamp, nothing else. There was also a dresser and a night stand with a glass of water on it. I looked at the bed; it was the same style as the rest of the furniture with a white and gold floral pattern.

It was an amazing room, but I don't know why I'm here. The last thing I remember was being in the shower, and Derek was pulling me out.

I looked around the room again, I was alone. Where was Derek? Where was anyone? I know Derek, he would never leave me. Especially in a place that I don't know.

But he isn't Derek anymore; he hasn't been since that first dream-

"So she should be fine?" Dad? What is he doing here?

"Mr. Saunders, Chloe is going to be fine." Derek! I would know that voice anywhere.

I took one more look around the room and realized; this is my old room. Why was I here? Why was Derek talking to my dad?

"Thank you for telling me where she was. I was going crazy looking for her." It was weird hearing my dad's voice after this long.

"It was the right thing to do. I was at Lyle House when she left, and when I saw her I couldn't let her run again." I couldn't take this anymore.

I got out of bed to fast and as soon as my feet met the floor I collapsed. "Chloe!" I heard my dad and Derek yell simultaneously. The door burst open and they came running in.

Derek yelled at my dad to back off and he picked me up and laid me on the bed. "Chloe? Are you ok?"

"Derek, what am I doing here?" I struggled to sit up but he set me back down on the pillow.

"Chloe? Honey, you need to rest." I finally got a good look at my father. He had bags under his eyes. He looked like he had aged ten years in the year I had been gone. He kept trying to push through Derek to try and get to me.

"Mr. Saunders, please. You need to let Chloe rest." Derek was talking to my dad but didn't take his eyes off mine.

His eyes still had that look in them. He looked like he hated me, he hated everything I was.

"No, Dad you can stay. I don't want Derek here." I looked at my dad, my closet, everywhere so I wouldn't have to look at Derek. I felt tears streaming down my face when my gaze finally settled on him.

Derek also had tears in his eyes. It must hurt him to have me tell him to go away. "Chloe-"

"D-Derek, j-just g-g-go. Please?" I couldn't stop the tears from falling. It hurt me not to want him here. He is my everything. But for some reason, I can't trust him.

He turned around and walked out of the room.

My dad grabbed my hand and sat down on my bed.

"Welcome home honey."

I know, it sucks. But I'm stuck. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. And I'm writing a new story! It's about the Fallen Series. It's on my profile for anyone who is interested. Please Review!
