I am so sorry that I haven't updated in I don't even know how long. But I have been uber-busy. Anyway sorry this story is getting boring; but I have been getting lots of comments about suggestions, and they are really good ideas. But I completely sucked at including Simon and Tori so let's just say that they were out with a witch and a sorcerer working on their powers, and now they're back…

So here is chapter…something…

Derek POV

Once I got Chloe into bed I went downstairs to talk to Dad. "Chloe is in bed." I said as I went to go sit next to him on the couch. "She seems pretty, I don't know, upset." I hated seeing Chloe like this. But her dad just came in here and announced that he was taking her home with him. Away from me.

"Well I would be too. If my dad came in here and said that he was taking me home, even after everything I've been through, I would be more than upset." Dad turned the TV on silent and turned to face me on the couch.

"I hate seeing her like this." I took a deep breath hoping that it would make my voice steadier. "It's like she's empty." I ran my hand over my face and left it there.

"Just give her time; she is still getting over being at the Cable. I can't even imagine what they did to her there." I shuddered when he said that. The truth was, Chloe has been acting different since I got here.

Right when I finished the thought we heard a scream coming from upstairs. Booth Dad and I bolted to our feet when we heard it. Chloe. That was Chloe's scream.

"Chloe!" I yelled as I ran up the stairs. I went up the stairs two at a time. All I could think was Ohgodohgodohgod Not tonight. Please I just got her back. Please.

When I got to our room I didn't see Chloe right away. But what I did see were to figures in the room. Dad was right behind me and yelled for me to find Chloe.

"Chloe!" I ran into our bathroom and heard whimpering in the corner. "Chloe," I went up to her and knelt next to her. Her face was covered in tears. She wouldn't look at me so I tried to grab her chin and face her towards me.

As soon as I touched her she started screaming again. She started punching me to get away; she caught me off guard so I stumbled to the ground. Chloe got up and ran into the room. "Chloe!" By the time I got to the room Dad was laying on the bed, face down, and Chloe was in someone's arms.

It was a man, someone I recognized, but couldn't place. Next to him was Melissa. "Put her down." I put my hands in front of me showing that I would not hurt them. But, of course I would if it came to that.
"Just please, put her down." When I started walking toward them, his grip on Chloe tightened.

For the first time since I entered to room my eyes met Chloe's. His hand was over her mouth and she had tears in her eyes. As much as Chloe could, she was trying to get away, kicking and screaming. But when you consider how small she is, it wasn't doing much.

"Why would I do that?" The man asked. "Melissa, do you know why I would do that?" He had a smirk on his face. If Chloe hadn't been in the way I would've lunged at him.

"Well he did ask nicely." Melissa said, walking to stand next to the man. "It's kind of ironic," Melissa was saying now. "That here I am, your ex-girlfriend, and here Michael is. Chloe's ex-boyfriend." When she said that his grip on Chloe's mouth tightened causing her to scream.

"Let her go." I practically snarled. So this was Michael. The one that chased her down, and caused her to run to me for help.

"I think I'll hold on to her for a while." He started to walk toward the window when they all froze. I don't know what happened, they just stopped moving. Michael's and Melissa's gaze was focused on something behind me. I followed their gaze to find Simon at the doorway.

He fixed his gaze on me. "Good to see you Derek," I started to walk towards by brother. "But before we have some joyful reunion, I strongly suggest that you save your girlfriend first."

I stopped in my tracks. "Got it." I moved toward Michael and Melissa, both of them had their eyes fixed on me. Chloe looked like she was about to collapse so I moved as fast as I could to get her out of his arms.

As soon as I had Chloe, I was holding her bridal style; I moved behind Simon and watched as with a flick of the wrist, they were gone. "Um Simon, where did they go?"

"I sent them away to where ever they came from." He turned and took both me and Chloe in. "It's good to see you Derek." He had a huge smile on his face as he reached towards me. We gave each other a hug, well as much as we could considering I was still holding Chloe.

"I'm going to go lay down with Chloe, make sure she's alright. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I hated not being able to talk to my brother, but I couldn't let Chloe alone tonight.

"No, I totally get it. Go be Prince Charming." He smiled just as Kit started to wake up. Simon sighed with relief and walked over to him.

"Hey Dad." He said helping him up off the mattress. Chloe started to stir in my arms.

"As much as I would love to be here, my girlfriend had a pretty hard day, and she might want to go to bed." I walked over to the bed, not willing to let go of her yet.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow alright?"

Dad was on his feet now, facing me. "Do whatever you need to do." He smiled and put his arm on my shoulder, then walked out.

I still didn't want to let Chloe out of my reach. So when I laid down on the bed I just rested her on me so that while I was sitting against the headboard she was curled up in my lap.

I hadn't even realized that she was awake until I heard her start to cry. "Don't leave me again." She whispered as she sobbed silently clinging to my shirt.

"Shh, never. I will never leave. Don't worry about that." I was stroking her hair trying to soothe her.

Soon after that she fell asleep. I was not able to be as lucky. I just sat there. With the girl I love in my arms.

So here it is. Did you like it? I thought that I would put it into Derek's POV. So let me know what you thought!
