New chapter finally here.
Would like to thank the person that commented last chapter and I hope everyone enjoys reading, it is a little longer than last so hopefully that should be enough to tide over until the next update.
Happy reading and I don't own OUAT.
Regina made her way down to the forest. Ever since her change she had been stuck to Maleficent's side learning all she could until the moment she heard that they would be leaving for the North. The blonde said it was the only true way to teach Dragons and so they would be going soon. She were excited at first, a new place to go and explore and learn all about her new side properly as Maleficent had told her all she knew.
But then her thoughts changed direction and to Ruby, her friend. How it had been far too long since she had seen her and all at once she panicked before running off the very first thing the next morning ignoring breakfast for the very first time as she wriggled her way out of the gate and as fast as she could, run down the hill and to the forest floor. There she ran around for a bit looking for her friend.
Her wandering took her to the stream that they frequented as she looked up and down the length of each direction to try to see any signs of brown hair – but to her dismay she came up empty. She turned and made for the small den that they built. She wasn't surprised if Ruby had decided to stop being her friend, after all it had been nearly three weeks that she had been down here and so knew that the other girl must have thought that she no longer wanted to be her friend.
She cursed her stupidity. She knew how self-conscious the other girl was. She knew that the other children treated her like an outcast. She had sworn that she would always be there and be her friend, but she hadn't and she hated herself at that moment as she walked slowly and miserably through the trees.
It wasn't until she was pushed harshly to the ground as she was tackled once more did have a tiny bit of hope. She managed to squirm upright and smile to see that it indeed was the other girl, but her smile dropped on seeing the expression the other little girl was wearing.
A pang hit her stomach as she saw the unhappy/teary eyed look she wore as she spoke her name. "Ruby"
"You lied
Regina didn't say anything as she lay underneath the brunette who was staring at her, hurt lacing both her face and tone. "You lied, you said you would be here… you wasn't here where did you go"
Eventually she lets her up as she scurries back a little watching her as Regina sits up and stares at her. They are silent for a moment until Ruby speaks. "Why did you leave… don't you want to be my friend anymore."
Regina blinked a few times and it's only seeing the wetness shine in her eyes that makes her speak. "No… Ruby I will always be your friend."
"Then why did you leave… three weeks Regina – I waited here every day for three weeks and you never showed. "
Regina felt each word as they hit and they hurt. The looks the tone, the fact that Ruby had been sitting here all alone hoping she would show when all that time she had been glued to the blonde side and she felt so bad that she had no idea what to say. Instead she flings herself across the small space and sends them both tumbling backwards as she holds on to her only friend tightly.
"I'm sorry, I really, really am." Ruby's to stunned to say anything allowing Regina to carry on.
"Something happened, and I was getting lessons for them and now we have to leave and-"
"Wait"
Patting on her shoulder has the other girl rolling to the side and off Ruby as they sit up again and the look of hurt was replaced by confusion as she stares down at Regina. "You're leaving?"
She nods sadly, this was the part she hated and she could see the confusion being replaced by hurt once more. "Where are you going?"
"Mal says the North… far, far north." Ruby has to think for a few minutes. She hadn't ever really been anywhere but the forest that they live in… she knows that when she says far to the North then she means it but she still doesn't want to believe it.
"How long will you be gone?"
Regina shrugged. She truthfully didn't know. She had asked Maleficent but the blonde was vague on details. All she said was that it would take as long as it needed to until she fully learnt the ways of how to live with her other side like a true Dragon and so she didn't want to get her friends hopes up, it was also because she was sad as well and didn't feel like talking about leaving too much.
"I don't know… but I'll try to come back as soon as I can. I'll bug Mal until we can come home sooner, I promise." She shuffles closer to the other girl just as Ruby nods unhappily and lowers her head, Regina hears a few low sniffles coming from her and all but pounces on her again in bid to try to stop her from being upset as she knows it was her causing it.
Please Ruby, please don't be sad… I won't be gone to long I swear." She clings to the other girl's taller frame in an effort to cheer her up, though she knows that it's only making her sadder and that causes her to be sad.
They stay like that for what seemed like forever until eventually Regina pulls away she wipes her eyes which had been soaked with tears as Ruby follows her actions and lifts her head.
"You promise"
The words are low and pitiful and it hits her gut again. Wordlessly she nods her head which seems to appease the other girl a little as she smiles before standing to her feet.
"Come on then" Holding out her hand as Regina looks at it. "We need to play for as long as we can before you do."
Regina smiles and takes the offered hand before being hauled to her feet. Once up Ruby smiles and pats her on the arm. "Tag, you it."
Before taking off into the woods Regina watches her go before a toothy grin spreads across her face and she runs after the out of sight brunette. They chase, take turns tagging each other, laugh and run around the forest for hours until finally the time comes for them to go home as they come to a stop in the middle. They turn to each other just as the sun casts the last of its rays over them lighting the trees with golden rays.
"I guess I'll see you around" Ruby muttered, her voice now quiet having replaced the happy and laughter that had only been heard moments ago. Regina nodded as she looked at her only friend whose unhappiness shone through brightly. She looked around the clearing for a moment before spotting something as she moved away, Ruby's eyes followed her wondering what she was doing as she bent down near a tree and picked something up.
"What is it?"
Regina turned around and showed her a rock. Ruby stared at it blankly, it was round and smooth and white before looking back to the other girl. "What about it."
Regina smiled and placed her other hand over the top as she closed her eyes and focused her magic. Ruby's eyes moved from her face to her hands as they lit up a little and before she knew it Regina had taken her hand away as her eyes widened at the rock, once shaped roundly, was now a small star. The raven haired girl giggled at the awed look on her face before she lifted the newly shaped rock closer and broke it down the middle.
"What did you do that for?"
She didn't respond merely handed one half the star shape over as Ruby held it in her hand. "Now we both have a piece."
"Why"
Regina smiled at her still confused expression. "So that way when I come back we can fix them together again."
Ruby glanced back down to her half of the star and thought about it. It made sense she guessed, and so smiled at the thought of Regina coming back like she had promised.
"To make it right like it was before." The other little girl grinned wider and nodded.
"A star has to be whole before it can shine bright. And that's what we are." She glanced back at the two pieces.
"We may be broken and dimmed for a little while but once we're together again. We'll shine like the rest of them in the sky."
Ruby nodded eagerly and held the broken piece tighter in her hand before bounding over and engulfing her friend in a hug. She might have been leaving and that still made her sad, she couldn't wait for the day she returned though and once she did - nothing would stop them from being friends forever.
"I'll miss you" Ruby whispered in her ear as Regina closed her eyes and nodded.
"I'll miss you to, but I try my hardest to come back, I will." She felt her friend nod her head as they pulled back. With the last of the rays dying down they knew it was time to part and so with one last look back, Regina waved before taking off back up the hill and to the mountain. Ruby watched her vanish into the distance as the sob she tried to hide escaped her chest.
She had finally found a friend. One who wasn't scared of her… she felt like the luckiest little girl ever and now she was on her own once more. She stood in the clearing a little while after Regina had left before she too turned and made her way home all the while clutching the second half of the star-shaped rock. She would wait; she would wait like they promised until her friend found her way back.
She had a promise to fulfill and a star to mend.
Regina ran until she got halfway up the mountain before waving her hand as the cloud of purple engulfed her and she was back in the gardens. She looked around before hurrying up the steps and into the hall. There she ran to the large double doors and pushed her way through – she saw Maleficent sitting/waiting for her in her chair as she made her way over, the blonde saw her approach.
"Have you said goodbye?"
Regina nodded, unhappily. She didn't feel like dwelling on the fact that she would be gone from her one true friend and she didn't know when she would be back. The blonde looked down on her face and sighed. It wasn't like she had any close attachments, little girl in front of her not included, but she knew this to be Regina's one and only friend if the amount of time she spent talking about her was any indication.
Extending a rare show of pity she reached out her arm and placed it on her shoulder. "I know this has upset you. I know how much you valued your friendship."
The other girl nodded. "But if it helps, the more you pay attention – the more you listen and learn. The quicker we can be back."
The dark-haired girl lifted her head to see her smile lightly and hope rose in her chest. "You think so"
The faerie nodded. "But as I have said it will be hard. So really focus and learn and you'll find yourself back with your friend, use that as an incentive if you will, "
Regina grinned this time happy. She would, if what the older woman said was true then she would learn as much as she could as best she could. That way she could be back with her friend sooner and none of them would be sad anymore. The other Dragon rose from her chair as she looked to Ingrid, the older server had known from her mistress all about the trip they were to take and so had volunteered her services into making sure her castle was well-kept and safe for when they came back.
"Ingrid" The older woman took a few steps closer. "Yes, Mistress."
"It's time we left… if we delay any longer than my opportunity to speak to the elders will be reduced and we may miss our chance altogether." Ingrid nodded and stepped out of the way as Maleficent swept by, she glanced over her shoulder to see the younger girl by her chair.
"Regina"
She looked up and over to where she had moved passed her. "Come"
Willing her feet to move she hurried to her as Maleficent waited as she got nearer before carrying on her way. Ingrid followed the two as they made their way down the halls and to the back entrance of the gardens. That was where they would be departing from. As they walked both were lost in their own thoughts as the blonde was thinking how long it had been since she had taken such a journey, with Regina thinking at just how far they would actually be travelling.
Most of the servers had gathered outside to see them off. As they arrived in the gardens. Regina looked around and saw the two servers Hilda and Jennifer, who had kept her company many and time before she bounded over to them. She leapt and crashed into them wrapping her small arms around them both as a few sniffles could be heard from the two women.
"Miss you."
They laughed at her words before Hilda ran her hand through the shiny hair. "And we'll miss you to, little one. So very much."
They pulled back as Regina stepped back. "But I'll be back soon. Have to learn things and then we can come back… You'll be here won't you?"
The two smiled sadly and nodded. They wouldn't have dreamt going anywhere else as she smiled once more before the sound of her name had them looking around to see Maleficent calling her.
"We need to go." She nodded and turned back to them. She pounced with one more hug before running back over to the older blonde. The older Dragon looked to her once she had stood by her side.
"Are you ready?"
It was a question not just for the trip as she knew it would be tiring for her, but also for the journey ahead, it was going to be tough on her and as much as the older woman would like to say she would help as much as she could. She couldn't, this was something the younger girl had to learn herself as Regina nodded.
"Yes"
Her words were oddly confident for a twelve-year-old, but then again she hadn't been what others would have called a normal child. The blonde didn't treat her as such those days and so she had grown up with a more mature outlook than most as she smiled at the blonde who simply nodded once. She turned her attentions to the others standing around as they got her silent look and stepped back as far as they could, giving two in the middle as much space as possible
"Just follow my lead"
With those words said the blonde suddenly vanished. In her place was a huge fully grown, purple winged Dragon. Easily surpassing the twenty-foot barrier in as she reared up to her full height. The rest craned their heads in wonder and awe. This was what they were here for, to see their Mistress in her unadulterated glory, to be as free as nature intended as the large green eyes turned their gaze back to the smaller girl who now looked tiny in comparison.
The pointed stare she got told her what to do as Regina did as the look instructed. She looked down to the ground for a moment and closed her eyes in concentration. She took in a few deep breaths as she felt her magic synchronizing around her body and a warmth spreading up and all around until she felt like she was melting… Moulding, melding and her eyes opened once more.
The gasps and mutters around them had her lifting her head and cocking an ear as the whispers sounded out. She looked to a few of the help as they stared at her with curiosity and as much awe as they did for the larger Dragon. As they looked, they noted that unlike the larger creature's eyes whose were bright green. The younger Dragons were purple… much like her magic in human form and it not only made them more curious but also confused.
They took in her appearance which was all black. Like her long hair as shiny as it was so to were the scales covering her body which was sleek and the wings that had unfurled looked sharp and already powerful looking. The two reptiles waited on the ground a little longer before a slight growling sound had the smaller Dragon looking up to see the once more pointed stare from Maleficent.
She nodded down before lifting her head to the sky and without any warning. Her wings stretched out, the large and huge appendages unfolded from her back as she beat them powerfully causing a large torrent on wind that had the others down below shielding a little before she lifted herself from the ground and into the night sky above. They watched as she flew higher and higher, circling around getting used to flying once more as Regina moved closer to where she had just been.
The purple beast looked down to see her standing with the rest as her roar filled the night's silence. That was Regina's cue to follow and so standing in the designated launching spot. She followed her actions and unfurled her wings as they beat out a little… she let herself get used to them for a moment allowing them to flap, she felt that she could lift off and so looking up at the hovering larger beast, she wiggled her body slightly before jumping.
She beat her wings furiously as they slowly held her body afloat and the rest watched as she lifted herself higher and higher into the sky before finally flying up and meeting the other Dragon. Maleficent watched as she hovered next to her, slipping slightly before righting herself as she rolled her eyes. She didn't want to waste any more time and so with a meaningful nod in the direction of the mountains she made her destination clear as Regina spun herself around facing the way of the large peaks.
She was nearly swept over as the purple Dragon passed her by smoothly, her wings slicing the air like it was butter prompting the black Dragon to grumble but follow on after with her own ungraceful flight. The rest of the helpers on the ground, sad to see them go watched teary eyed as the two they had spent their lives around flew through the air, getting ever smaller as they glided far above the trees.
They could vaguely see the large purple Dragon but not so much anymore, the black Dragon was all but gone to their sight as her body blended in with the sky until at last they reached the Mountain's pass and they stood as finally after they passed the tops of the peaks, they vanished from sight. They still stood long after the two had disappeared for locations unknown as they resigned themselves to waiting for however long it took for them to come back.
Five years later
The door to the hall opened as in shuffled a women with stark white hair that was pinned back into a bun as she made her way inside. She had done this for the past five years and she didn't show any signs of stopping that as she made her way further into the room to clean up, it had been a long time since anyone had been in this room, much less used it but she didn't care.
It was her Mistresses room and she had sworn to keep it clean and ready for her to use on her return. She hummed a tune as she went about her daily chores, cleaning the windows and dusting off the curtains and bed before making sure nothing else was out-of-place before leaving. She made her way down to the next room and did the same thing in there.
This one was the little ladies room. Only she wouldn't be so little anymore, she lifted her head idly wondering just how old she would be now, seventeen in memory served her right and smiled a little. She couldn't wait to see what she looked like now as she went about plumping the pillows. She was just about to change the flowers that she had brought in to brighten the place up when hurried footsteps pounding the floor outside had her looking to the door, just as a young boy came hurtling through the archway.
He had bright blue eyes and brown hair with freckles dotted over his face as he smiled excitedly at her. She frowned and narrowed her eyes in his direction ready to admonish him for running through the halls when he cut off her almost speech.
"Ingrid, Mama told me to tell you to come quick!" She stood up from where she was leant over the bed, a frown marring her aged face.
"Why? Is anything the matter? Did you push your brother in the well again?"
The young boy shuffled his feet. That was one time why wouldn't people let that go? He shook his head nonetheless as his grin widened once more. Though he had never seen them he knew they must have been a big deal the way he had heard stories of them. He really wanted to see them as he had never seen an actual Dragon up close and now he was getting his chance.
"No their back!"
She frowned once more not getting what he was on about. "Who are back dear?"
He jumped up on the spot a little and pointed to the window. "The Dragons, their coming back."
Her heart stopped momentarily as she stared at him with wide eyes. "Are… Are you sure?" He nodded still with his grin.
"I heard mummy and a few other people who had arrived to tell them that they had been spotted."
She let out a teary laugh mixed with relief before she made for the door as fast as she could as he ran ahead of her but stopped every so often to see if she was still behind hm. They made their down the steps as they headed for where the rest seemed to be moving to which made it seem all the more real as she hurried her walking the best she could.
She made it outside to where the rest of the helpers where as they scattered about the gardens all seemingly waiting, looking up at the empty skies in hopes of seeing their Mistresses returning. She moved over to Andrea, the little boy's Mother.
"Are you sure that they are returning?" The blonde haired woman turned to the senior woman and nodded. She hadn't believed it herself but from what people had said in the tavern was that they had been sighted flying throughout the kingdoms by peasants once more fearing at seeing the large purple Dragon that had terrorized them so.
They apparently were even more concerned and worried about the fact that it wasn't alone. That another had been spotted flying with it, though not as big it still looked dangerous and they had wondered about where it had come from. Ingrid broke out into more laughter at hearing that it was true, as happy teas threatened to spill, she had feared that they would never return or at least not in her aging lifetime.
"Has anyone seen them since?" Andrea shook her head. "The last Thomas told us was that they had been seen crossing over between the wasted marshlands and the dark chasms of Elderidge."
"Elderidge? That's not too far from the white kingdom is it not?" Again she nodded.
She looked up a little worried. She herself had never graced the kingdom of king white and his wife but had heard tales of how his family had a rich background of hunting large and untamable beasts. They made it a mission of theirs or at the very least a game to try to slay the biggest prey they could find, she was fretful that if indeed they had come back that way then they could be seen.
"I am sure that with everything they know about the land, that they would not be as lax as to forget about such people… they will not be caught."
Ingrid looked at her and smiled. It seemed she was thinking the same thing and so chose to put it out of her mind and instead focus on the fact that they were coming home after so long. Hours passed that saw them waiting, though loyal to the Dragons a few had started to get restless, the younger children especially who were not used to waiting so long and so Ingrid, being the oldest of the lot had instructed a few to go and prepare a welcome home feast for them as they rushed back into the castle on her orders.
With the ones that needed to move out of the way she took her spot back up by the tree they had last left. She wasn't as impatient as some in her old age and was content to wait. Finally nearing midnight their waiting had paid off. As it had grown darker they had to light fires in the hopes of catching sight of them as shouting alerted the rest.
"Look, up there!"
Flurry of movement saw them standing at the edge of the trees peering up into the black sky straining to see until at last shadows against the sky coming closer told them that they had arrived. After so long they were finally back as they started to cheer. The fires light shone on them slightly as they first to land back after five long years away and back to her home was Maleficent.
She dropped to the ground causing it to shake a little as her green eyes; ones that had been missed dearly scanned the crowd. She hadn't been expecting a welcoming committee and was only mildly surprised. She looked back at the people who she hadn't seen in so long and inwardly smiled when she saw Ingrid standing next to a young blonde.
'At least one familiar face' she thought just as beating of wings above them had the next Dragon landing down next to her, dropping suddenly from the backdrop that had hidden her well scared a few of the others scattered about. They took in the new Dragon as Ingrid and a few that had been there to see them off gasped as they took in the familiar yet so different second reptile that was once just a small thing, now was at least half the size of the purple beast standing close by.
They took in her long wings as they rested by her side down to the tail that flicked two and fro along the floor, they observed the huge paw like feet and the sharp claws that stuck out gleaming in the firelight and back to her face which had only sharpened and matured as they finally reached her face to see the long jaw line and the same glowing purple eyes that shone in the night.
"Is that…"
Ingrid nodded. Knowing that too was in awe at just how much Regina had grown as she towered over them now compared to the size she was when the tallest of them could, back then, reach her nose.
The older woman coughed a little stepped closer. The movement had Maleficent turning her head to look down at the oldest of them as she neared. Though under scrutiny she felt no fear as she knew that even in this form the witch could differentiate who was who and was sure that she was in no harm as she got closer.
"Mistress?"
The purple Dragon looked at her for a moment longer, carefully eyeing her until at long last she bent her wings back until they rested on her body and shifted until her size shrunk - they watched as her claws and body changed shape, her four feet changed to two until at last, and after so long being gone. The blonde Faerie stood back in the place she had missed.
The blonde breathed in, glad to be back to her normal form after so long flying as she looked to the other woman who had stared at her with a happy and teary smile.
"Hello, Ingrid."
The older helper shuffled closer, much to the blondes concern and so moved so she didn't have to move as much as the other woman clasped her hands.
"Mistress… your back… you're really back."
Never one for sentimentality but in this case and with it being the oldest helper she had, she made the exception. She smiled and nodded.
"We are indeed."
A grumbling from the side of her had the Faerie rolling her eyes and looking to the black Dragon that had ambled closer. "Though we would have been a little longer if someone here didn't get into a fight."
The medium-sized beast huffed and snorted a cloud of smoke before following suit and changing shape as she returned to her human state. Ingrid gasped a little when she saw the girl who had once been a constant around her feet. Now a young woman who was taller than the blonde witch next to them.
Her features were sharp like that of her Dragons, eyes as dark as ink and hair that matched a ravens wing. Her face was smooth her skin clear, free of blemishes though she did seem to have a small scar just above her lip, other than that she was perfect.
The older server stepped closer to her as Regina saw her and smiled. "Ingrid"
Even her voice, once high-pitched and innocent much like a child's, was now rich, velvety and smooth. She laughed that sounded bubbly and deep when the woman pulled her into a bone crushing hug.
"I missed you my child," Regina wrapped her arms around the silently weeping woman. "And I you, Ingrid."
They pulled away as the older woman wiped her eyes not seeing everyone's gaze on them as she looked back to the young woman. "What's this about a fight missy?"
Regina rolled her eyes and waved her hand, "It was nothing"
A scoff had them looking to the other blonde who was watching them. A semi annoyed frown adorned her face as she addressed them. "It was not, nothing Regina. It was the whole damn reason we had to leave." She turned back to Ingrid ignoring the indignant look Regina gave her.
"It was a constant between them really; so much for learning, the only thing she wanted to do was try to one up the only other human within a five hundred feet radium."
"Oh please – she had it coming… always prancing around like she owned the place."
"To be fair dear, it was the North… she kind of did." Regina crossed her arms and pouted a little before the blonde turned back to the other woman who had gone between them like a tennis match.
"Bright spark – pun intended, decided it would be funny to get the element of surprise on her and the result was that she melted half the bloody ice cave that the little chit resided in… which led to another fight and that led to us making a hasty retreat and with the promise of not going back until one of them drops the grudge."
"Not bloody likely – OW"
Her annoyed frown was replaced with a smirk as Regina rubbed the back of her head. "I also had to do that… a lot."
Ingrid chuckled. Not even five minutes back and it was like they had never left. Maleficent turned her attentions back to her senior helper.
"So how have you been keeping my castle?"
It was those words that had the rest moving. With another large cheer and applause that their Dragons had come back. They started to move – they had planned a feast after all and so the two made their way back in as the younger children who had the opportunity to be up front and see them stared open-mouthed at having seen them for the first time in their young lives.
The night ended when the two decided to retire. They had journeyed back a long way and both were now feeling the effects. They left the servers still celebrating their return as they ascended the stairs. Walking slowly they both took in the feeling of being back home just as they reached the blondes chambers.
"Glad to be back?" She asked looking at her as the younger girl smiled and nodded. She really was as the Faerie titled her head lightly and spoke.
"Well, goodnight dear."
"Goodnight" She turned and pushed on her door and was about to go in when a hand on her shoulder had her turning back.
"Yes?" Suddenly she found herself engulfed in a hug as Regina clung on tightly and leant her head on her shoulder. Maleficent stood a little shocked at the contact before she reached up and very gently patted her back.
"There, there… it's not all that bad." Regina frowned and pulled back. "What are you on about?"
The blonde shrugged, she wasn't one for hugs and so had no idea about why she got one now. "I thought it was what you did when you felt sad."
She pulled a face and leant her head back. "I'm not sad."
"Oh… then what's with… this" She gestured at the contact between them as the raven haired girl rolled her eyes. "I am saying thank you."
"Oh" Maleficent nodded her head slowly taking in her words before it fell into confusion. "Want for."
"Really? Oh never mind… it's me saying thank you, for being there for me." Blue eyes widened in realization
"Oh… oh, OH…Well, it was nothing really. Someone had to otherwise who knows…" She trailed off looking over her shoulder and earning a slight giggle from the other girl as she squeezed her once more and pulled back.
"Thank you anyway." She started down the hall and to her own room. "Night Mal"
The blonde watched as she strode away before calling out quietly. "Night"
Before turning back and entering her room. Regina pushed on the door as it creaked open and she looked around the room she hadn't been in for five years. It was still the same making her smile. She moved in and shut the door behind her as she gazed around. It smelled clean Ingrid must have gotten someone to tidy up despite her not being there as her fondness for the other woman increased.
She looked at her bed and smiled wider before jumping on to the mattress. It squeaked under her weight and dipped as she squirmed on the covers and sighed, after spending so bloody long flying and sleeping on rough terrain a bed with complete covers and quilt was a much-needed welcome relief as she turned on her side and gazed out the window.
She let her eyes linger on the darkness of the forest and smiled wistfully. It may have been five years, five long tough years but she hadn't forgotten her friend… her one true friend. She lay on her back and stared at the ceiling before reaching under her shirt and pulled out the small handmade charm necklace that had been hidden.
She lifted it to the light as she ran a finger over the smooth surface of the star-shaped rock that had rested against her skin. She had never once taken it off and each day had made more of an effort to keep her promise to learn more so she could be home sooner.
She let it fall back to her chest and with a wave of her hand her clothes changed from outdoors to her night-clothes as she sighed. Tomorrow she would go and find Ruby, she would find her friend and her promise would be fulfilled.
She looked at the half piece of rock once more before closing her eyes and settled down with a smile.
She had a star to repair.
Hope you all liked it, if its not to much than I would really love to know what you thought of it.
Until the next time. :)
