Chapter 5 "Waiting and introduction part 2"
Kim look at the rangers who just came, she could tell that even if they had been inactive since the very beginning, she could tell that the four are really strong. The guy named Cyrus Mckay, with blue eyes and in an army cut hairstyle that really looks well on his dark skin and made him a lot more attractive. The next is the guy named George Robertson, the dark raven hair, green eyed that really matches his fair skin is also handsome and a rather serious feature, though his looks might be deceiving he seems to be a very ebullient guy.
Then her eyes looked to the shoulder length red haired gray eyed girl named Naomi Walker, she is quite tall, well taller than her and her other companion, with a skinny body built, and wearing a yellow shirt and a below the knee khaki pant and well, she seems to be very serious person, she could feel it in her aura that she is a little bit staid in her appearance but never the less, she is really beautiful. Then her eyes scan the girl withlong sort of straight jet black hair that clings to her stomach with the tips slightly inwards and with bangs that slightly covers her forehead, she has a jet black eyes, a pale skin and skinny and she is kind of short of height like her but most of all is she is really appealing to those people who will look at her, too bad she has a boyfriend. Her name is Akiko Yamuri, the girl who is donned in pink and currently the girl who introduced herself as Blake's girl.
But what she doesn't understand is the ninja rangers' reaction, namely Shane, Hunter, and Dustin and especially the hurt look and betrayal on Tori's face.
"Tori." Blake said as he worriedly looks at Tori that made everyone to look at her.
Tori inhaled and gave a sweet smile to everyone, but Kim could tell that it is a phony smile.
"You…. You didn't… You didn't say anything about them?" Tori asks as she alternately look at Hunter and Blake, her voice is trembling.
"We thought they were dead. It is really difficult to talk about someone whom you weren't able to protect at all." Hunter answered for the both he and Blake.
"But they were alive! Haven't they contacted you after we defeated Lothor?" Dustin asks.
"No we haven't. We are afraid to know that everyone might have died during the attack and.." Cyrus smiled sadly. "And ashamed, that we weren't able to protect the school even if we were chosen to be the power rangers. Besides, we thought that the two of you were also dead."
"So why did you come?" Hunter asks.
"To redeem ourselves from what happened." Akiko said as she linked her hand to Blake.
"I want to show to Sensei Omino that she wasn't wrong when she pass down the power to me." Naomi said. Cyrus touches her shoulder to comfort her in her self-pity moment.
"Who found you?" Hunter asks again.
"We did." Kim answered. "We traced all of the rangers active or inactive and sent them a message, like the one we sent to you."
Hunter nodded and understanding.
"But why didn't you try to call us to inform us that you are alive after the war?'' Blake asks disappointment is evident in her voice.
"We can't face you after what happened." Cyrus stated. "We weren't able to protect the school, we weren't strong enough."
"No one blames you for what happened." Hunter said.
"We know that but you can't blame us, if we feel that way." Akiko said.
The two Thunder rangers just sighed as a long silence followed. Kim had been quite the whole time but she was observing at everyone, Her gaze rested to Tori, she could tell that Tori seems to be hurt with a hint of jealousy. Feelings she knew too well.
"The others are coming." Celine stated, everyone stared at the direction Celine had pointed.
There are five people walking towards them, one of them is wearing a military uniform, while the other men are wearing normal shirts, but in different colors, and jeans. While the woman wears an overall black leather clothes with black leather boots.
Once they are in front of the other rangers, the guy wearing a red shirt and the guy wearing a military uniform nod to the guy named Cole Evans.
"You know each other?" The woman in black asks to her two companions. The guy wearing a red shirt smiled and nodded, and then faced the other rangers.
"I am Wesley Collins but you can call me Wes, the red time force ranger." The guy and red shirt said. "This girl beside me is Jennifer Scott, but we call her Jen and the pink ranger of our group."
The woman nudges him as he smiled gently towards her.
"I can introduce myself to them." Jen said.
"I know, but as the red ranger of the group I should introduce each one of you as my team mates." Wes explained.
The others shook their heads as they sighed.
"Well before this argument continues, I am Eric Myers, the Quantum ranger." The guy wearing an army uniform stated as he salute to the other rangers.
"And I am Lucas Kendall, the Blue time force ranger." The man in blue shirt stated.
"And I am Trip, the green time force ranger." The man in green shirt stated. Kim's brow rose as if questioning him.
"Just call me Trip, that is all you need to know." Kim just nodded.
"Katie, the yellow ranger, won't be able to join us because she was assigned to do something in the future which is highly confidential." Jen said.
"We do understand." Dulcea said from her seat. "I am Dulcea. And I am the one who called you here. Any questions shall be answered once everyone is here."
The time force rangers just nodded and look at the other rangers as they introduce their selves.
Kim looks at the little Mia who is now rubbing her eyes trying to stay awake. Kim smiled and went to take her but before she could carry her, Hunter had already carried her and told her to sleep.
"Let me carry her Hunter, you don't have to do this." Kim said as she offered her hands to take Mia.
Hunter shook his head and smiled. "It's okay, Mia isn't that heavy, I even wander if this kid is eating."
"I wander on the reason why you are so kind to that kid?" Cyrus asks. "I had never seen you act like that towards a kid."
Cyrus eyes widened. "ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH….." He half yelled.
"WHAT?" Kim and the Wind and Thunder Ninja rangers said in unison.
"I can't believe this; you are falling for a kid?" Cyrus shockingly stated which earned him a smacked from Hunter and a punch from Naomi, as the others started to laugh.
"I don't see Mia that way, asshole." Hunter said. "I just felt the urge to protect her at all cost. I think it has to do with us being a power ranger, being able to protect what needs to be protected."
The others smiled in agreement. Cyrus just shrugged as Naomi punches him again.
"But, you should be the one acting like Hunter, blake." Akiko stated as she smiled sweetly at him.
Kim just shook her head at Cyrus comment. She was a bit shocked at the comment and almost got a little bit edgy when she thought that Cyrus was talking about her but most of all, she was curious on what Akiko means. She look through the rangers and saw few people coming.
"Oh, so the others are here now." Cole stated.
"You do know them?" Kim asked.
Cole nodded, as the whole team look at the new comers.
"I never thought that they will come here together." Wes stated as he started taking steps towards the new comers, and some of them are very familiar to Kim.
"Jason." She said as she ran to him and hugs him tightly. "I miss you."
Jason laugh as he return the hug, "Hey, it is you who forgot to contact us about where you are."
"I did. I told Trini where I am going." Kim said as she released Jason from her hug and look at his handsome face.
Jason's expression becomes bitter upon hearing that name. Kim notices this and got worried.
"Did something happen between the two of you?" She asks.
"Nothing." Jason's blankly stated. But Kim got a lot curious as to her friends reaction towards her best friend.
"Oh by the way, meet the other rangers, Kim." Jason said before Kim could ask another question.
Kim pouted and mentally notes to ask Trini what happened between her and Jason.
"Hi I am Carter Grayson, Red lightspeed ranger." The man wearing a checkered polo and a red shirt inside stated. "And these are my team mates, Chad Lee the Blue lightspeed ranger, Joel Rawlings the green Light speed ranger. This is Ryan Mitchell the Titanium ranger and my brother in law. My wife Dana, the pink lightspeed ranger cannot come because she is pregnant and Kelsey Winslow stayed behind in case an enemy appears of course to see to it that my wife is okay."
Kim smiled and the others nodded in understanding and then look at the other newcomers.
"I am Leo Corbett, the red galaxy ranger. These are my team mates, Kai Chen the blue ranger." He pointed to the Asian man wearing a blue shirt and white pair of jeans. "This is Damon Henderson the green ranger." He pointed to a man wearing green shirt and black pair of jeans.
"Two among our team mates can't come; they have to stay in the base in case we will need to check outer space."
"He is correct, two among my team is there to help them." Another man with on straight hair and wearing a gray suit with a logo on his right chest, stated. "By the way I am Andros, the red ranger of my team, the space rangers."
"I am Theodore Jay Jarvis Johnson but you can call me TJ, the blue space ranger and the previous red turbo ranger." The man beside Andros stated.
''I'm Carlos Vallerte, the black space ranger and former Green Turbo Ranger." The man beside TJ stated.
"And I am Zhane, the Silver space ranger. It is nice meeting the other rangers." Zhane politely stated.
"And I am Justin Stewart the Blue Turbo ranger." The little man beside Carlos stated.
"I am Adam Park, I put on different colors during our active days, I have become the black ninjetti ranger, and then I become the green Zeo and Then Turbo ranger." Kim smiled at Adam. "Hello stranger." He pointed out to Kim as Kim smiled at him, slightly shaking her head.
"Hello everyone, I am the Blue Zeo ranger, and was the Red Ninjetti ranger." Kim raised a brow at his introduction. "It's Rocky de Santos by the way."
"My name is Zack Taylor the original mighty morphing ranger." Kim walks to him and give him a hug. "Miss you too, Kim."
Jason look around and nod to all the rangers he knew, until his eyes set on Hunter. His brows furrowed after noticing the kid on Hunter's arms.
"Is she a ranger too?" He asked pertaining to Mia. Kim look at Jason as she shook her head.
"No, she is with me. Her father left her to me." Kim said.
"You know the risk of being a ranger, Kim, you should have not brought her with you." Jason said facing Kim.
"She has nowhere to go, Jason, something is going on within her family that is why her father brought her here, with me." Kim said.
"Kim, still."
The other rangers look at them.
"Jason, Mia is already with me before Dulcea came. She is going to stay here with me. And if you are thinking about her safety, I can protect her." Kim said, dismissing any comment that Jason may throw at her.
Jason just shook her head and sighed. Hunter smiled and pat Mia's back.
"Where is Tommy and the Dino rangers?" Cole asked as he notice that the tension between Kim and Jason cleared.
"They are on their way." Jason answered.
"Great." Cole calmly stated. Kim went to Hunter and assisted him in putting down Mia so she could lay down on the mantle Celine had placed for Mia to rest. Kim used her leg as Mia's pillows and started to soothe her.
Few hours had past, the rangers were all pacing back and forth as the young girl is still sleeping and Kim and Jason are talking, Zac went to acquaint himself to the other ranger.
Andros was staring at the two new female girl named Sabrina and Celine, the two seems so familiar but cannot pinpoint where he had met them.
Adam Tap Andros shoulder and nodded as if the man has an idea of what he was thinking.
"Are the two of you rangers too?" Rocky asks pertaining to the two ladies. Celine and Sabrina shook their heads.
"Then who are you?" Adam asks.
Celine and Sabrina look at each other.
"We knew them as Scorpina and Archerina before, but when they were hit with Zordon's purification light they turned good and luckily they turned into human like us." Kim said.
"And why are they here?" Jason asked.
"We wanted to help." Sabrina answered.
Rocky raised his right brow not believing what he is hearing. "Help? Are you sure about this, Kim?"
Kim nodded.
"I don't think this is a good idea, Kim. Besides they were once our enemy and they might betray us again." Adam said.
Sabrina and Celine just bit their lips at this and sadly look at Kim.
"How could they change their evil ways if you yourself doesn't believe them. All they want is to redeem their selves from what they have done through helping us, and then move on. Now if no one would believe them, then they might go back to their old ways, being evil." Kim said.
"She is right, let us give the two of them the chance to change." A voice so familiar to Kim stated.
She gasped and started to tense even though she knew this day would come that she would see him again.
