Chapter 7 - Mother's Kiss Part 2
Ayane stares at her reflection in the mirror for quite some time in the past 20 minutes, and it started to make Ryu worry since Ayane doesn't seem to budge from the mirror anytime soon. When he hears his father's home, he quickly runs to get to his father. Hibari that just step into his house almost scolds his son when he hears the light footsteps running through the hallway, but forgets it when his son shows up with an obvious worry on his face.
"Tou-san, something is wrong with Ayane…"
Hibari frown, he doesn't like to hear about what he just heard. Set his briefcase on the couch and quickly follows his son to where his daughter is. When he caught his son, he notices that Ryu is standing outside of his room; as if he stalking someone. His guess is, his own daughter.
"Tou-san, look, Ayane is acting weird…"
Hibari leans on the door frame, watching his daughter stares at her own reflection. Her expression changes every 20 seconds. Hibari chuckles as he looks at his daughter making her funny face, and then he walks in the room. Ayane turns around to see her father coming from behind her.
"What are you doing? Did you hit your head anywhere?"
Ryu looks at his father in disbelief as Ayane's eyes widen as she looks her father. Hibari runs his fingers through his daughter's soft hair. The soft and silky hair shows to him that how young and innocent his child still.
"Tou-san…" Ayane suddenly speaks.
"Mm?"
"… Do I look like Kaa-chan…?"
Ryu stands upright upon hearing his sister calling their mother 'Kaa-chan' instead of 'Kaa-san'. Probably because she grew up hearing him calling their father 'Tou-San', so she follows. But he didn't remember when he called their mother 'Kaa-chan'. Does she miss her that makes her starting to call their mother like that?
Hibari falls into silence at first, as he tries to think why would his daughter suddenly ask the question.
"… Why do you ask…?"
"I saw on tv that the daughter resembles their mother a lot! So I take Kaa-chan's picture and compare it with me…" Ayane's face becomes sullen. "… I'm not beautiful like her…"
Hibari takes the picture of his late wife from his little girl's hand. He looks at the photo and then his side lips curls up. Putting aside the photo, he carries his child on his hips as stands up. Ryuu that just watched from outside of the room shows himself.
"… Tou-san…?" the little girl tilts her head to see her father's face.
Hibari softly pets Ryuu's hair once he sees him and then drag his little boy by his hand, as he walks out towards the living room. Gently, he lets his daughter slide down from his hip and sit down next to her on a sofa. Ryuu that got drag just now sit next to Hibari; making Hibari in between the two of his children.
"… Would you tell me which show that you've watched, Ayane…?" Hibari asked monotoned.
Ryuu's eyebrows furrow, his father's question sounded fishy.
"It was Mommy's Baby!" Ayane answered.
"I'll blow up that ^$#%& show right now"
Ryuu struck with a shock that he quickly hugs his father's arm tightly. Oh, he knows what his father capable of. He's just not an ordinary teacher like people around thought it is, he's not sure what his father do to be exact since his father actually could make the most rich man bows to him. He'll get whatever he wants through whatever way he could get.
"T-tou-san…." Ryuu cries.
"… Humph!"
"Tou-san…" a little voice squeaked.
Hibari looks down to see his daughter.
"I'm glad that I have you…" she said with a smile on her face. She hugs Hibari happily and tightly. Hibari pats his daughter's head.
Hibari looks down until his eye shaded by his bangs. "… Me too…" he mumbled. When his daughter looks up to hear it again, Hibari just smiles. "Now, clean up the mess with your brother, I'll prepare dinner…" he said rather than command. "Ryuu, take care of your sister…"
"Yes, Tou-san!" once he said that he pull his sister by her hand and walks into the room. Hibari watched how the older brother pull his little sister by her hand to the room and then he goes to the kitchen.

"Daichi! Don't make a mess too much, pick up your toys and stack them into basket!"
Bianchi's voice echoed through the house, all the neighbours wonder how the elegant woman on the outside would look like when she's actually angry. They really curious about it, but then again, they treasure their own life too, so they just let it go.
"Uhm… but I want to go play with Shun…" Bianchi's son whined.
Bianchi bites her lower lips and a vein popped on her neck, but she controls herself by taking a deep breath and then exhale. "… Dai-chan… don't you feel pity on me…?"
Daichi looks at her mother with a question mark written on his face.
"… Kaa-chan has a hard time to breath, looking at all the mess here and there, and then Kaa-chan had to clean it up so that you won't get hurt like me…" her eyes starting to get teary. "… Won't you help me…?"
Daichi looks at his mother pitiful. Looking at how his son is looking at her, she knew that her tricks are going to work. Daichi opens his mouth slowly. "Is that a crocodile tears…?" Bianchi was taken aback.
"Why you little…!"
"Ahahahaha… okay, okay! I'll clean them up, and then can I go to Shun's house?" Daichi asked sweetly.
Bianchi sighs relief, "… Fine. But get home before dinner, okay…?"
"Okay!" he said while twisting his index finger and middle finger together.

Meanwhile, in Gokudera's Residence, the father and the two child looks out from their veranda as they heard 'bonk' sound of Bianchi's house.
"Aunt Bianchi gets angry…?" Ran wondered.
"Ahahaha… probably Daichi has tried to sneak out before clean up his toys…" Shun chided.
Gokudera look at his son. "Well, aren't you two share the same 'interests'…?"
Shun looks at his father and smiles apologetic. Gokudera shifts his gaze from his son to his daughter. Ran looks fine, but it gets to Gokudera that his daughter not letting out everything that she wanted to let out. The young father scratches his jaw line, he really doesn't know how to start a conversation with his daughter. It's okay with his son but a daughter, to him is a bit hard. Girl, teenage girl, woman, no matter what stage are they at, they still hard to understand. Taking a glance again to his daughter, he decided to have a talk with his sister, though he feels reluctant, he can't help it.

Tsuna was walking through the supermarket with a trolley, he was looking a materials for the family and friends gathering tomorrow. He could think up of thousand recipes to check so that he could make them in large proportion. He feels happy since it's been a long time since they got together and Yamamoto is going to be there.
"That's weird… it's been a long time since I saw you smile from ear to ear…!"
Tsuna surprised as he looks away from the items that he's holding. "… Kyoko-chan…?"
Kyoko smiles as she tilts her head.

The two siblings sitting on a veranda, looking at the evening sky and ponders.
"… So Aneki, do you have any idea…?"
"… Hm"
The younger silverette pull a tight face. "'Hm…' it's not going to help me…" he grunts.
Bianchi chuckles as she pulls her face down from the starry sky and turns to look at her troubled brother. Her foot swinging from back to front, lightly as she balances herself by putting both arms on the veranda's edge. "… You know, I think I could understand what your daughter feeling right now…"
Gokudera turns to look at his sister and waiting patiently for his sister to continue.
"… It was the same with me and Tou-san…" she slowly continues as her foot still swinging playfully.
Gokudera taken aback, he actually straightens his back upon hearing it. "… Tou…san…?"
"After Kaa-san leaves us, I feel trouble since I'm the only child in the house. Tou-san isn't at home most of the time…"
Gokudera's eyebrows furrowed. "… I still remember you got bodyguards…"
"I do… but they're not Tou-san…" Bianchi smiles slowly looks bitter. "… There was a time when I thought I wanted to talk with him, but I can't…" a tear started to form at the banks of her eyelid. "… Whenever I see him, all the courage I gathered to talk with him gone…"
Gokudera slumps his shoulder,"I didn't know…"
"That's why Hayato, I'm glad when I suddenly heard that I have a brother… the first thing that crossed my mind is that, I finally have someone that I could talk to…"
Gokudera reminisce more to his sister bullying him. He pulled back from those memories when his sister hold his hand.
"Talk to her… while you still can talk, while you two still with each other… just talk it out" Bianchi smiles as the words passes her mouth, and give her brother a pat on his back as an encouragement.

"… She's the one who carries you…" Mukuro said as he runs his fingers through his daughter's long blue hair. "She carried you for seven months, gave birth to you, feed you with breastmilk, and then she…" Mukuro stops; he didn't have the heart to tell his daughter that her mother leaves her in his care because she can't stand with her cries. "… went to find her own dream…" is the only thing that he could say. He didn't lie, he just cover the truth with much less hurt words for his daughter.
"… You mean, she leaves us…?"
Mukuro startles upon hearing the question, he stops running his fingers through Aoi's hair. His daughter looks the other way while biting her lower lips, as she tries to hold her tears from falling.
"… Aoi… I…"
"Mama hates me…?" Aoi's voice trembles while asking Mukuro the question.
Mukuro put his palms on his daughter's eyes, he smiles bitterly. "… Papa loves you… Do you hate me?"
Tears falling slowly to the side of her cheeks while Mukuro's palm still covers her eyes. Aoi shook her head slowly as to answer her father.
"Then, papa alone is enough, right…? I'll be the one who sees you off one day with the ugliest man you'd choose…" he chuckles.
Aoi hit his father lightly with her elbow, making Mukuro lift up his palm from Aoi's eyes. Mukuro looks at his tears-stained face daughter. Her face shows a bit of relief than before. He guesses, Aoi probably gets her answers even though not a lot being asked and got answered the way she wanted.

Kyoko laughs happily when she heard how Tsuna had to prepare a whole picnic with friends. "Can Haru and I come too…? It's been so long since our last time gathers together!" she said excitedly.
"Of course! Bianchi-san will be there too, and the kids would be joyous seeing you two there…!"
"Great! Then, I'll check with Haru if she could come…" she said while looking at her phone. "Oh… I need to get going now. If anything, I'd call you! Bye Tsuna-kun!" she waves her hand while walking fast towards a car.
"… A car…?" Tsuna sees Kyoko going to the passenger seat and smiles warmly before enters the car. "Well… Probably she's met with someone…" Tsuna then walks away from the market and walks to his house.
At his house, he found Yuu and the twins quietly watch an anime. It seems that they too absorb with the anime that they didn't notice that he already home. "I'm home…" after saying that only they notices that he's back. All three of them turn their head towards him and runs to get him.
"Welcome home…!" all three of them answered. Tsuna looks at his son, Yuu reply it with a small smile. Being a father has taught him a lot of things, especially when it comes to his own son. He notices that at the side of his son's eyes have a bit bluish colour and the twin's face is not as lively as they usually be.
Tsuna bends on his knees as he looks, straight to his son. "Is something happening to you today…?" he asked gently.
Yuu looks down as the twin only looks at each other. Tsuna smiles as he stands back up. "… Maybe a dinner would put you at ease, Yuu-chan…" he said as he ruffles his son's hair.
Tsuna turns around to put all the ingredients that he had bought on the kitchen table. When he gets near the sink, he heard as if his son had said something. He turns around to see his son that still looking at his feet while the twins only looks at Yuu with a somewhat sad face. "… Yuu, did you say something…?"
"… Kaa-chan…"
Tsuna breath stops for a second and the gasps. He waits for Yuu to continue speaks.
"… I met Kaa-chan…" he said with his trembles voice, slowly, his tear trickles down to the young boy's chin.
Tsuna can't help but feeling pity for his son and himself. He walks closer to his son and squat in front of Yuu. "… Yuu…"
"I miss her… I wonder if she's forgotten about me, it's been awhile since she last visited us…"
Tsuna's heart break hearing what his son has said. He pulls Yuu into his arm and hug him tight. He could feel how the lithe child has surpressed all the feelings that he had. "It's okay, Yuu… you can always call her…" he pulls his son away from his bossom and smile.
"… If she wouldn't pick up…?"
Tsuna smiles warmly as he put his palm on Yuu's head gently. "You always have me, Yuu… You always have Tou-chan…"
Yuu smiles as the tears still falls, he jumps to his father and hugs him by his neck. Tsuna hugs him back and ruffles his son's hair. The twins got jealous and they too jumps towards Tsuna to hug, but probably their jump was too hard, all of them falls onto the floor together. Despite feeling all heavy and tired, Tsuna laughs to his heart's content. Oh, how he wishes Yamamoto right here now. Then again, he'll be here by tomorrow anyway, it a family and friends gathering day after all.
Hi you guys! Yea, it's been awhile…
First of all, thank you for the review, and second, I guess the family complex question were brought up because of chapter 6. I thought it's a bit weird when the question asked, and it makes me re-read my story back, and it seems the question does make sense. Well, I do have a bit of family complex, but it develops after I lose my father, it gives me a sense of insecure without my family around so, yea… and a little influence from manga here and there actually affects the story as well…
And, request accepted! I do have some of the idea of those kids fight over Tsuna. Just wait for the next chapter. Until then, see you next time.
