Standing before a massive crowd on the 6th anniversary of the Cell Games stood Bulma. For the past 3 years she had been toiling away to construct a building which would later be nick named the Monument of Truth. Imagine a massive marble museum, columns lining the front and all. At the center of the building stood 2 great mahogany doors. This building had no windows, because while inside the best viewing quality possible was provided. Before Bulma was a podium cluttered in microphones from many different news agencies. And following that down the large marble stairs was arrayed thousands of people, some were news reporters while others were simply the myriad of wealthy and important people from the region and some from around the world. They had all gathered here today as Bulma had sent an invitation claiming the grand opening for a building that was heavily related to the Cell Games. Which makes sense since today was the 6th anniversary of that event.
"Hello and I am glad you all could make it today." Bulma began her address. "I imagine you all are curious as to why I have called you here today and what the building behind me has to do with the Cell Games. Well that is simple. Within this building are many rooms, each room contains a massive screen and plenty of seats for viewing pleasure. Imagine small movie theaters. I am sure that seems strange, well each one of these screens will normally show off a different video which contains important information for recent human history. And from this building I believe a new era on Earth will be born. I said normally because for just today each room will be showing the Cell Games footage we at Capsule Corp. have. This footage is the complete Cell Games. It was recorded from outside the atmosphere by one of Capsule Corp's finest satellites. Today you will all witness what happened at the Cell Games after the camera's cut out and I believe you will all be shocked by what you see. This information aside on any other day this building will show off many videos detailing important events in the life of one Son Goku. Some of you may know Son Goku as the runner-up in the 21st and 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament and the victor of the 23rd. You may ask why is that the bulk of the building? I will tell you, during the Cell Games, my best friend since I was a teenage girl, Son Goku died. He died as a true hero and for the past 6 years his name has been spat upon and ridiculed. 3 years ago I could no longer stand what was happening in the world, and since I had always had video proof of the truth in the world I decided to act upon it. Today many things will be brought to light, many of you at first will not believe what you see. You will believe it to be fake, I however assure you everything shown within the walls of this building is 100% real footage. Besides my self, the King of the World, King Furry has been backing this endeavor as he too is sick of the lies circulating. He backs my statement and is here today to say it himself. After he comes up here, every one present will be led inside to view the complete footage of the Cell Games, if you wish to see the other videos please come on another day."
With that said Bulma vacated the podium by stepping off to the side. King Furry quickly made his way from the edge of the stair case to the center and stood proudly behind the podium. Clearing his throat he began. "Hello as Bulma has said within the walls of this building lays the truth. However I will not be as media friendly as Bulma has been. Prepare for the shock of your life, and remember everything you see today is real, my top video analyzers have examined and reexamined every single video 20 times to test their authenticity. As a side note, Mr. Satan I hope you are ashamed of your self."
A huge gasp swept through the crowd. The king had just called out the world champ. What did that mean? Why were both Bulma and Balto so adamant that everyone realize they were about to unveil the truth.
Bulma stepped back to the podium and said. "Now without further ado, I unveil to the world, The Son Goku Memorial building."
The eager crowd was split into groups and led into separate rooms. Within the building. Walking into the entrance hall one found themselves craning their neck to see the face of the giant statue before them. The statue depicted Goku in an offensive martial arts stance, but with his large happy grin on his face. From there, there was a single hall way as on a normal day people would be led down a series of connected rooms starting from the first time Goku participated in the WMAT to his final battle in the Cell Games. With each major battle in between. There were all of Goku's fights with the Red Ribbon Army, each on of his fights in the WMAT, his fights against King Piccolo, his battle with the Saiyans, his fight's against the Ginyu Force and Freiza, And then it had all the fights between the Z fighters and the androids and every fight with Cell as well. At the end of the tour one would find themselves in a circular room the branched into several rooms. One room explained Ki, another explained the Saiyan race, another had a detailed bio of each one of the Z fighters, Yajirobe even had a section, another explained the other known races of the universe and what Bulma currently knew about the political scene of the universe as well.
Today however every room besides the ones at the end were going to be showing off the complete footage of the Cell Games. As the crowd filtered into the building and were led down the path to their room, many people couldn't help but admire the artwork on the walls along the way. It depicted various warriors almost no one recognized preforming the seemingly impossible tricks that the fighters at the Cell Games had preformed.
In one particular room was a 17 year old girl and her extremely obnoxious and very loud father. Who could these two be but Videl and Hercule Satan. On a day like today they were normally the most important people Hercule usually gave a speech that increased his popularity and ridiculed anyone who was a 'trick' user. However as soon as Bulma had mentioned complete footage a ominous chill had gone down his spine. On the outside however Hercule was currently trying to play it off as how everyone should been excited to finally see Hercule's great finishing move and defeat of Cell. However he really hoped the Bulma Brief didn't have actual footage of the ending of the Cell Games. If you was honest with him self he didn't even know how it ended he had been blown away by a vicious wind. Before he could continue the lights dimmed and on the screen appeared Cell, standing arms crossed within the arena he had constructed for the Cell Games.
The fighters started showing up and before anyone knew it the Cell Games were approaching the point in which the camera normally died out. Everyone had witnessed Hercule being thrown out of the ring with a single punch and many were confused as they couldn't remember ever seeing that. They would later find out Hercule had paid ZTV millions of zenni if they deleted that part from the fight. And most everyone had forgotten it even happened. Then they watched in shock as the fight continued between the Delivery Boy and Cell. Everyone watched in horror and fascination as Bulma was able to capture the audio of the event. (She has audio for every event)
"Goobye, Son"
With that Son Goku disappeared along with Cell. The pain filled cry of an 11 year old boy wailed out. Then to further the horror everyone watched as Cell reappeared and basically killed one of the Z fighters with a beam through the chest and they saw Vegeta's subsequent rage filled response. Eventually the battle shifted to the final showdown and everyone was surprised by the size of the ball of light they saw, they watched as every able Z fighter threw them selves relentlessly against Cell's back to help Gohan and they watched as Gohan finally over powered Cell and Cell was disintegrated. The video ended and at this point Bulma's face popped up on the screen.
"As you have now all witnessed, this is how the Cell Games truly played out, Hercule Satan had been a lying fraud for the last 6 years, he stole the credit for the victory won through extreme hardship and sacrifice of the group who call themselves the Z fighters. Besides stealing their credit he had continuously belittled their efforts and trashed their style's of martial arts. The truth is he has no idea how any of those so called tricks are preformed and he also isn't that great of a fighter. All of Earth's greatest martial artists did not compete when he won his title. I would like to apologize to the people of the Earth for allowing you to be blinded by his lies, I should have revealed this footage earlier, however many of the Z fighters wished to keep their respective privacy and had no interest in the media and fame. However like my self they too have become fed up with Hercule and with their permission I have revealed the truth. As you leave the building you will be handed a recording of what you just witnessed, if you are a reporter please show it off to the world, and please come back tomorrow to view the whole tour. I will be giving an interview to the first group through tomorrow as well as most of the Z fighters will be on scene to help answer questions as they were the ones who lived through these events. And I believe several of them have announcements to make about the upcoming WMAT next year and some other announcements they want to make. Thank you for your time you will now be led out of the building and have time to digest what you just saw and it's impact."
AN: well there you have it, the reveal! I hope you enjoyed it and I realize it might have been somewhat lackluster, however its true impact will be seen next chapter as well as what the Z fighters have to reveal. Possibly Gohan's reaction as well. Because currently besides Trunks and Goten he is the only one that doesn't know.
