Chapter 40: The End...or Is It?

I would like to thank all those who took the time to read, favorite and follow my story. This idea has been bouncing around my head for some time in one form or another. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as did writing the story.

I would like to thank RGFiz, BliTz1x and my anonymous editors. They helped me out with technical, scene and language issues. The story benefitted greatly from their help.

Some readers got the impression I was pushing my belief of God on them. That was not my intention at all. I believe in Jesus Christ as my savior and wish for others to be saved, yes. My reasoning for including God is to show the characters believing in a higher power despite the false ones. I felt there should be anchor of belief amongst some of the characters. The others characters might not believe as strongly or even not at all. This shows a real world view of religion belief/practices.

The Goa'uld acted like God's but weren't, Asgard acted benevolently (but only to move groups of people to safety.) and then the Ori having perceived Godly powers that they miss used.

The action scenes I wanted to be believable as possible. That's the reason for the detail of locations and weapons. Other scenes such as Jessie & Pete's wedding, the trail in Colorado Springs, and such really do exist. The medical scenes I made short due to my lack of knowledge.

I changed chapter 32 beginning because RGFiz corrected my mistake. Mr. Potato head wouldn't be arrested in the manner I had first written. The correction doesn't change Pete's story thread enough to have to read it. Reading the change would however, make the scene more believable and accurate. Thanks again for your help RGFiz.

I do have sequel (s) planned if you were wondering and hoping. They are already in the works and planned out. With luck and time on my side I'll have 3 more stories before the years out. Some will be fluffy (yes fluffy... a necessary evil for all this to make since.) while other will be gritty and angst filled. Thanks again to everyone and I hope y'all have a great New Year.
