Summary: Appearing in a confusing wave of distorted data the seven digidestined enter the digiworld. Years, decades, before their time an immortal and frustrated wizard made a deal with Death. In return for the Resurection stone he may have a chance to start over- but Death is a fickle partner and the deal is twisted, leaving him in an eleven year-old body, immortal and unchanging.

Disclaimer: Don't own Harry Potter or Digimon- but if I owned a digimon I would be wooping for joy right about now.

Side note: All chapters will be from one character's 3rd person POV every other chapter will be from Harry's

Izzy:

He was dead.

The thought made him clutch his backpack against him tightly. He'd watched as a gigantic wolf-like creature bound into the hole, followed closely by the werewolf- Weregarurumon- with the little Choromon on her shoulder. They emerged a few second later with the limp form of their eleven year old guide.

His fingers dug into his backpack straps as he watched for the rise and fall of the boy's chest. It was futile though, the pale skin looking even whiter without the flush of blood beneath it.

He was dead.

He thought he should revise his definition of dead when Hadrian took a sharp breath inward, his body jerking as though he had just woken from a nightmare.

"Mum?" He asked hoarsely, his eyes open to cracks, "Tell Siri I'm going to slaughter him." Who the hell was Siri? The huge wolf made a sound somewhere between snickering and growling and Hadrian raised a weak arm to flip him off. "Screw you."

"Oh my God, are you alright?" Sora blurt out finally, breaking the silence that had come over the digidestined. The title itself was rather odd and it made Izzy question his own beliefs on fate and free will, but he could think about that later. At Sora's words Hadrian blinked, almost as though he didn't recognize her voice.

Carefully he turned his head to see who was speaking and his eyes widened. "Right. Yeah, don't worry about it Sora I'm okay."

You were dead. Izzy wanted to shout at him. He may know little to nothing about human interaction, but he knew when someone was dead. There were signs, and Hadrian had shown all of them. He should not have been able to get up.

"I thought you were dead." Tai said, quietly for the usually loud boy. He was, Izzy resisted revealing. He had to have been.

"Nope," Hadrian said, shakily getting to his feet, "Fit as a fiddle." He might have been more convincing had he not attempted a smile that quickly became a grimace as he staggered against the nearest object to him, which happened to be a tree.

Izzy narrowed his eyes at him when Hadrian's eyes caught his for a brief second and it almost seemed as though the brunette was taken aback by the look in his eyes. Was he worried that Izzy knew his secret? Or was Izzy just staring too hard and too negatively? He didn't get a chance to think it over as soon as he would have liked as Hadrian straightened.

"Oh, and everyone, I'd like you to meet my Uncle- Garurumon." He gestured to the gigantic wolf-like digimon at his side. "He likes pranks a bit too much and he doesn't know the difference in what a human can take and what a digimon can take but he's not a bad person." The Garurumon huffed in laughter at that.

"What a flattering description." His voice was higher toned than WereGarurumon and Izzy wondered at the gender differences versus the species differences. He shook that thought out of his head as the others introduced themselves to the trigger-happy Garurumon. He was the only one to notice, but as they spoke to the wolf digimon the only one that Hadrian seemed to have eyes for was Izzy.

Something was wrong with the boy, something more sinister than just appearing when they needed a human guide. That Drimogemon had called him a Wizardmon after all, and even though he'd denied it there had been that suspicious pause of absolute terror before he had done so. Which meant he was lying.

And who knew- maybe some digimon could disguise themselves as humans. If any could then one called Wizardmon was definitely one of them.

But why would he lie? Out of some sinister plot or just harmless mischievousness?

He was distracted as Tentamon shifted beside him and realized, with a jolt of surprise, that the small bug-digimon hadn't left his side for an instant, eyeing Garurumon as warily as Izzy had. He took the chance, "Tentamon?" The bug hummed at him questioningly still watching the larger digimon, "What do you think of Hadrian?"

"Hadrian?" The digimon tilted its head to the side thoughtfully. "I have my doubts about him being entirely truthful with us." Izzy frowned heavily, not at all reassured that his fears were mirrored by his digimon partner. "But I also think he means us no harm." Izzy shot Tentamon a glance, wondering what he meant. "After all, he did defend Joe after just meeting him and he put our safety above his own while we were in the pit."

"I'd forgotten to consider that in my calculations." Izzy admitted, feeling slight guilty for his harsh outlook. "But…" He paused, some kind of epiphany on the tip of his tongue.

"Izzy!" And it was gone. He mentally cursed Tai but looked over all the same, quickly gathering his backpack as he realized they had started off without him and Tentamon.

"I wish they would stop doing that." He grumbled. Did any of them know how much a computer weighed? Not like anyone else other than Joe was carrying anything of significant size or weight. He sighed and shook his head, jogging slightly to catch up.

"Tentamon?" He said suddenly, remembering a question he'd forgotten to ask earlier. "Can you tell if Hadrian is a human or a digimon?" The digimon looked confused but shook his head.

"He's not a digimon I recognize if he is one but I don't really know the differences all that well since you are the first human I've seen." Izzy frowned, finally catching up the back of the group.

"Then how did you know I was a human?" Tentamon tilted his head to the side.

"I just knew. You are a digidestined and my partner, of course I would know if you were human or digimon." Izzy hummed thoughtfully. So, no confirmation there then. He cast his eyes towards the front of the group. Hadrian was there, the little Choromon on his shoulder, walking between Garurumon and WereGarurumon laughing about something someone had said. Joe, Matt and TK lead the group and Izzy thought over their sudden attraction to be near Hadrian.

Of course, it could easily stem from Hadrian having defended Joe, TK liking the 'werewolf' and Matt refusing to leave his little brother. He shook his head. He just had a bad feeling about Hadrian and he couldn't shake the feeling that the digidestined were missing something important.

A/N: Alright, before I address pairings and reviews I would like to apologize to some of my readers (and not just for taking forever with this chaper- blame Izzy, he's hard to write). I was unaware that unleashing fan-privilege into the ranks of my readers would cause such discord. I have had three requests just in the last chapter asking that I not make this a slash pairing due to the overabundance of slash pairings of the Digimon/Harry Potter Variety. I personally agree with this, however I have no problem writing het or slash or gen. Mostly why I am apologizing here is because, though I will do my best to satisfy everyone I am just one person with just one story and I can't pair Harry up with everyone.

That said here are the top three results which I will be choosing from:

Harry/Sora

Harry/Male Digimon

Harry/Matt

The voting is closed! You can still vote on the digimon on the poll on my profile page but otherwise the pairing poll is over, sorry to everyone who did not get their paring chosen.

Now, onto reviews:

SinOfDisaster: I heartily agree with your review and that does give me some interesting ideas to mull over in my head over what I am going to do. I highly doubt I will go into intimate relationships during this story seeing as the characters are all around eleven. But that is something to think about.

Lost-Lovegood: That's my little secret ;) but you'll see. If anything that won't come up for at least another couple chapters.

Well, that's that. Hope you liked the newest chapter! R&R!
