Okay, we're back for another chapter. What will happen to Daphne? Is hopefully the question you've been asking yourself. Because it's time to find out! Hope you like it! Please read & review!
Adam knew what he had done was wrong; putting Daphne down as the next O- heart recipient. The guilt was already getting to him, and only worsened, when a few days later he received the call that they had received a good match for her. He didn't ask anything about who it was, he knew better than that. So the next morning he woke Daphne up to take her to get the surgery done; she had no knowledge of what he was wanting to do.
She still hadn't really remembered anything more than her name. Though, every night she kept waking up, crying, saying her friends needed her, but couldn't remember who or where they were. She couldn't even remember what they looked like, only remembering specific splashes of colors.
Carol hated not being able to do anything for her. Especially when seeing her cry with so much pain and sadness in her eyes. Though, she was relieved to hear that there was a heart that had become available.
"Daphne, would you like to come see where I work?" Adam asked her the morning of her surgery.
"Yeah! That sounds like fun!" Daphne smiled, and quickly started getting ready. She was really curious to see her 'daddy' in action. After her talk with Carol about them becoming her parents, she had begun to call them 'mommy' and 'daddy'.
Once she was dressed, she went downstairs to the dining room to eat breakfast with her parents. "Do you have surgeries today?" Daphne asked, wanting to know what she'd get to see.
"Yes. Only one today. There's a really important one I have to do. It's for a little girl." Adam answered.
"Is she like me?" Daphne asked.
Adam nodded, unsure of what exactly to say. He didn't want her to freak out or anything. He had already made the arrangements with his most trusted nurses and colleagues to do her surgery. Being a little vague about who the little girl was and how different she would be.
"I'm ready, Daddy." Daphne said, as she finished drying her hands.
"Alright. I just need you to wear these." Adam said, holding out a baseball hat and a scarf.
Daphne easily put on the cap, which covered her feathered head. "What do I do with this?" Daphne asked looking questioningly at the scarf.
"Here. I'll do it." Carol told Daphne, and took the scarf from her. Carol wrapped it around her face, as to cover her beak completely.
"This is hot. Why do I have to wear it?" Daphne complained.
"It's to keep you from breathing in any germs at the hospital. We don't want you to get sick." Carol quickly answered.
Daphne still hadn't fully realized that there was something wrong with the way she looked. Due to the fact that she has yet to leave the house, and Carol made sure to play TV shows with talking animals and people with animal attributes.
"Fine." Daphne huffed, feeling a little put off. She looked to Adam, "Even in the car?"
"Yes. Though, the air conditioner will be on, so it shouldn't be so bad." Adam smiled at the little girl.
Daphne nodded, and headed out to the car, excited for her first trip out of the house.
The whole drive to the hospital, Daphne was glued to her window, watching the scenery of a small town change into the big city sights of what was New York City. As they drove, Daphne starting feeling a small prick of recognition.
"I've been here before." Daphne told him, feeling like there was so much she was forgetting.
"Really? So you're from the city, then?" Adam asked, a little surprised by this.
"No. I've been here before, but it feels different." Daphne answered.
"Hmm. Well, we're almost at the hospital. Don't worry too much about it. You don't have to remember everything right now." Adam tried to comfort her.
"Okay." Daphne answered sitting back in the seat, deep in thought.
Once they were at the hospital, Adam took Daphne in with him. She stared at the hospital, in awe at its size.
"Dr. Birdìe. Is this your …?" The nurse at the station started to say, and Adam motioned for her to stop.
"This is Daphne. … She's my daughter." Adam added.
"Oh. Well, she's … cute." The nurse said, unable to distinguish any characteristics of the girl.
"Okay, Daphne, come with me." Adam said, once he got his clipboard from the nurse.
Adam took her to an open patient room. "Daphne can you go change into this?" Adam asked her.
"Sure, Daddy." Daphne took the gown, and went into the bathroom. Daphne came back out, once she'd changed. "Is it okay that I took the scarf and hat off?"
"Yes. Come here." Adam motioned for her to come to him.
"What is it?" Daphne came closer to him, he picked her up, and set her on the bed.
"Daphne, I need to run some tests on you to make sure you've completely recovered, okay?" Adam informed her. "Are you afraid of needles?"
"No." But at that question she wanted to both laugh and cry for some reason. Why is that? She wondered.
"Okay, good. Lay down and make yourself comfortable." Adam quickly but gently put an IV in her arm.
"Hmm. Daddy, I'm starting to feel sleep- … zzzz" Daphne said before the IV pulled her into dreamland. Adam quickly then got her ready for surgery, making sure to put a mask over her beak and even adding a covering for her entire face.
Adam knew that once the surgery started and the others saw the clock where her heart should be, they would be asking enough questions, he didn't want to have to answer more about why she looked like a bird.
Once Daphne was set up in the surgery room, Adam went to go debrief his team a little more.
"So what's with all the secrecy, Adam?" Dr. Blake Sheldon asked him.
"Yeah. What's the big deal with this patient?" Dr. Christian Asher asked.
"You'll all see soon enough. But what we're about to do, I want none of you to ever speak a word of it to anyone." Adam told them sternly.
"What's the big deal, Adam?"Nurse Cecile Greene asked.
"We should be prepared by knowing what's in there." Nurse Kira Wolfe said.
"It's just a little girl, right?"Dr. Sheldon asked.
"So what's so strange about her? We've seen just about everything by now. So you can't surprise us." Dr. Asher answered.
"I'm pretty sure this falls under what we haven't seen before." Adam stated seriously, putting them all on edge. "Come on. Don't ask questions about what you're about to see until after the surgery." Adam answered, then walked out of the room, done talking. They all followed after him silently.
It all started out smoothly, until the other doctors and nurses saw the clock inside the little girl.
"What the hell is this?!" Dr. Sheldon asked shocked.
"How can this be possible?" Nurse Wolfe asked.
"Who is this girl?" Nurse Greene asked.
"I told you, no questions until after the surgery." Adam said adamantly.
"You were right, Adam. We haven't seen this before. So how are we supposed to put a heart where a clock is?" Doctor Asher asked harshly.
"Look. Everything else is normal around it. So it should work. It has to." Adam added the last part to himself.
"Fine. But you owe us big time." Dr. Sheldon recovered first to answer. "I expect a lot of drinks out of this."
Dr. Asher and the nurses nodded and began to do their work.
"Be careful of the clock. I don't want it broken." Adam told them, surprising even himself when he said it.
"Alright. What are you wanting to do with it? Tinker with it or something? You're not a horologist, Adam." Dr. Sheldon joked.
"A what?" Dr. Asher looked at his fellow doctor.
"A horologist. A watchmaker or clockmaker. Duh." Dr. Sheldon replied.
"Is this a part of your learn-a-new-word-each-day thing?" Adam asked him as they worked.
"Yeah. I learned that one last Monday." Dr. Sheldon answered.
"To answer your previous question: No, I'm not going to 'tinker' with it. This has been acting as her heart for who knows how long, and I don't want it getting broken now." Adam said.
"I never would have pegged you for being superstitious, Dr. Birdìe." Nurse Wolfe told him.
"I'm not. I'm just being careful of it." Adam answered.
"This isn't just some girl, is it, Adam?" Dr. Sheldon asked, picking up on Adam's demeanor with this patient. They were best friends after all; from high school to now, they had always been close. He'd been in the surgery room with Adam countless times, and he'd never acted like this before. Though this patient wasn't your-everyday-run-of-the-mill kind of patient either.
"I told you. I'll tell you after the surgery." Adam answered leaving no room to ask again.
"Alright. No more talk. Let's get this girl a heart." Dr. Sheldon replied, leaving the others to follow his lead.

Hours later in the conference room, the surgeons and nurses looked down quietly at the still ticking clock on the table. Adam had taken the patient to her room, and the others had returned to finally get their questions answered. Though they all felt that Adam wouldn't have much to give, even if he was telling them everything he knew.
They all jumped when the door closed after Adam entering the room. "Sorry." He answered upon seeing them all on edge.
"So what's going on, Adam? Who is that little girl?" Dr. Sheldon asked, taking the lead since he was Adam's best friend.
"She ours. Mine and Carol's." Adam answered tiredly, as he sat down for his interrogation.
"How? I thought that..." Dr. Asher started to say but stopped himself.
"Not biologically. We found her on our anniversary, out in the woods. She was beaten and covered in her own blood. Looking at her then, I thought she was practically dead. But Carol insisted I try to save her, and I did. When I was checking her vitals, I heard the ticking, and as I was fixing her up, I looked inside at her clock..." Adam stopped for a minute to let it all sink in.
"Is that why you covered her face?" Nurse Greene asked. "Because she was beaten so badly?"
"No. That's not the reason at all. I'll let you see her when we're done talking." Adam said.
"Okay. But why would you just take in a child? She surely has parents or someone, out there looking for her?" Dr. Sheldon asked his friend.
"Carol wanted her from the moment she saw her. How could I deny her a child, when after five years we couldn't get pregnant. And after you see her, I think you'll understand why she wouldn't have anyone. When she woke up, we found out she has amnesia. All she could remember was her name. Though when we asked her about her parents, she told us that she felt that they were no longer here. At night, she keeps having nightmares, but all she cares about when we ask her what's wrong, is her friends, not any family." Adam answered.
"So have you tried to get in contact with child services or something?" Dr. Asher asked.
"I feel none of you will understand until you see her, that she isn't going to be in any system." Adam stood up, took the watch off the table, and lead them to Daphne's room.
He had tucked her into the bed, but she had already curled herself up in the blanket, the only thing visible being her blue feathered head.
"What...?" Dr. Sheldon moved closer to the bed and pulled the blanket away from her face to expose the black beak, where her nose should have been.
Dr. Asher and the nurses looked frightened by what they saw. Dr. Sheldon, on the other hand, looked down at the girl, more curious then frightened. "What is she?" Dr. Asher asked.
"I don't know." Adam answered.
"I thought I saw the word, Dodo, inscribed on the back of that clock." Nurse Wolfe said.
"Huh?" Adam brought the watch to his face, and flipped it to look at the back. "I don't see anything."
"I only saw it when the light hit it." Nurse Wolfe explained.
Adam walked over to the window, the others followed him curiously, and tilted it back and forth, until he quickly saw the fancy scripted word: Dodo. "Did you guys see it?"
"Yeah. What is it supposed to mean?" Dr. Sheldon said.
"Mmmm." A little sound came from behind them, causing the doctors and nurses to turn around to the little girl stirring.
Adam pocketed the watch. "Let's go outside." Adam shooed his colleagues out. "How much longer do you think it'll take before she wakes up?"
"Maybe an hour. Why?" Nurse Greene answered.
"I need to get her home. I'll be watching over her from there, and I will update you all on her progress." Adam told them before returning to the room, as to leave no room for an argument. Even though there would have been no argument from them, for they all knew it was for the best.
Adam soon returned through the door, carrying the girl in his arms, covered in her blanket. Dr. Sheldon walked with him, helping by opening the doors for him to get out the back. "I'll cover for you, but I'm telling you now. When I'm done. I'm coming over." Dr. Sheldon said as he opened Adam's car's back door.
"Thanks. I owe you." Adam said, after he laid Daphne in the car and buckled her down with the seat belt.
"Like I said before. You owe me a lot of drinks." Dr. Sheldon smiled and laughed. "Now get her home to your wife."
"Yeah. I'm going." Adam said and got in his car.
Dr. Sheldon waved as he watched him drive away before he returned to tell boss Adam had left, not feeling well.
DODO
Three hours later, Carol and Adam were quietly working around the house when they heard a little girl's scream.
"DAPHNE!" Carol and Adam both called before running to her room, to see a brown-headed little girl sitting up in bed, her pillow covered in teal feathers, and holding a black beak with a white stripe in her hands. She still had the same teal blue eyes, maybe just a shade darker then they were this morning, a cute round little nose now on her face, and flawless skin.
"What happened?! Did I fall asleep on a bird or something?" Daphne asked worriedly looking at the beak in her hand and feathers that were surrounding her.
"Don't you know that they're-" Adam started to say before Carol elbowed him in the stomach to shut him up.
"Mommy? Daddy? Why are you looking at me all weird? Is something on my face?" Daphne hurried over to the mirror on the vanity table in her room. Daphne pouted. "There's nothing on my face. It looks normal."
"Daphne, what do you remember about yourself?" Adam asked.
"Um... That's a lot to go through. Besides, don't you know? You are my mom and dad." Daphne answered, confusion on her face at the question.
"Daphne, who are your real parents?" Adam asked seriously.
"You and Mommy...aren't you? Are you trying to tell me I'm adopted?!" Daphne started to cry.
Carol and Adam looked at each other and back to Daphne, then back again, shocked by what she was saying. She truly believed she was their daughter, and for now, Wonderland to Daphne was nothing more than a childhood story and a place to dream about.
So now Daphne's a 'real girl'! (If you know the reference 10 points of awesomeness to you!) Please leave a review or follow/favorite the story so I know you're enjoying this and want to find out more.
Dodo: WHY?! Why would you do this to me!? *weeps dramatically*
Oh stop being a drama queen. You have some questions to answer.
Dodo: Oh, yeah. I do, don't I. *perks back up* You know, now that I've been forgotten by myself, these questions are all I have to live for. *says in thought* Until she remembers me. If she ever remembers me.
So time for our 'little' extra something for you readers, "Questions for Dodo."
More questions from KiwiSplash, who has decided to pose questions to some of the other characters and Role-holders. Which is completely fine. It was just a hassle to get some of them to come and cooperate with me. And if there wasn't a specific person who was assigned the question Daphne/Dodo is going to answer (Hopefully that's okay with KiwiSplash).
1. Adam: Is your name based from Adam and Eve?
Adam: Not to my knowledge. My mom really liked the name, and it was my grandfather's middle name, so it was her way of naming me after him.
2. Daphne: Do you think Carol and Adam are going to send you to school?
Daphne: Probably. Though, right now it's what they call "summer break", which is why Carol isn't teaching. So when school starts up again, I would assume they will.
3. All Roleholders: What is your blood type?
Dodo: You already know mine. But to refresh your memory, O-. Now time to go round up the rest of the gang! *walks out the door*
* One minute later- door opens, and Ace walks in, closing it behind him. Looks around the room confused, until he sees TA, and smiles* Ace: Oh, hi TA!
TA: Hi, Ace. Just one of the many people I wanted to see.
Ace: Really? What did you need?
TA: *Points to the question on the screen* And I have another one coming up, so stay put.
Ace: Ok, TA. So, my blood type? *goes to sit on the couch, making himself comfortable* That's easy. I'm an O.
TA: Huh, just like Do-
*Door is kicked open as Dodo enters dragging Boris in with one hand and Pierce with the other.* Daphne: I'm back~! And with company!
Pierce: Let go, chu~! PLEASE!
Boris: Yeah, and what's the big deal, anyway?
TA: Hmmm. I didn't see these two being the first ones you brought back.
Dodo: It's only because I caught Boris chasing Pierce around as soon as I entered the forest. *notices Ace on the couch* Oh hi, Ace.
Ace: Hi, Dodo.
TA: *shrugs shoulders* Okay. Well, I need you two to answer some questions, first is: What is your blood type? So?
Pierce: I'm AB, chu~. *slips out of Dodo's hold on him, and runs to hide by TA*
Boris: Okay I'll answer your questions, so let me go? *Looks to Dodo, who releases him* My blood type is B. *goes to sit with Ace on the couch, specifically the couch's arm opposite of Ace.* What's the other question?
TA: Can't ask until every one gets here and answers this one.
Boris: *sighs and begins to look bored out of his mind* That'll take forever!
Dodo: Well, then you can help me round them up. You can go get the Hatters, and I'll get the rest of the Heart and Clover Role-holders, Jokers and Gowland.
Ace: I can hel-
ALL: NO!
TA: Alright, be off you two! We need to get some answers. *Gives a dismissive gesture*
Dodo: *grabs Boris and heads towards the door* Alright, we're going! Bye!
TA: Wanna bet who gets back first?
Pierce: S-s-sure, TA chu~.
Ace: What do I get when I win?
TA: Haha. I think I'm gonna win this one, Ace. So, what do you want?
Ace: Hmm. … Can I listen to your heart? I've never heard a foreigner's heart before.
TA: Only because I'm positive I'm gonna win this. Sure. What do you want Pierce?
Pierce: Will you give me a kiss, chu~? *blushes*
TA: Yep. And I'll be happy with just winning so... My bet is Boris with the Hatters.
Ace: Well, I know better than to bet against Dodo, so Dodo with Julius.
Pierce: I-I-I agree w-with Ace that Dodo will be back first b-b-but with Gowland.
TA: Okay, you're on! *All three begin to watch the door intently*
*A few minutes later- Door opens to reveal...* Dodo: I'm back with Gowland!
Gowland: *Enters behind Dodo* Dodo filled me in. My blood type is O, for everyone who wants to know. *Sits next to Ace on the couch*
Pierce: I win!
*Door opens with Boris and all the Hatters.*
TA: Where were you two minutes ago!? I lost my bet because I had faith in you and the twins to hurry back!
Dee & Dum: TA-CHAN! *Both rush past Boris and hug TA from either side* We're sorry! The bunny boy was being super slow. And so was boss.
TA: Okay. I forgive you. But now I have to give Pierce a kiss.
Dee, Dum, and Boris: WHAT?! *All turn their attention to the cowering dormouse at TA's feet.*
TA: It's fine. Come here, Pierce. *Picks up the little mouse boy, pulls him into her lap, and kisses him on the cheek*
Dodo: Okay, I'm off to get some more, while they answer their question.
TA: Wait, Dodo. *Dodo stops and looks at her* Blood will go get Vivaldi and Peter after he answers his question, so you can go get someone else.
Blood: I'll be doing what?
Dodo: Fine by me. Bye! *waves and leaves*
TA: Here's your first question. *Points to screen*
Blood: B for Blood, obviously. So now you're sending me to Heart's Castle to get the queen and that rabbit?
TA: Yes, yes I am. Because I believe you can go get them, in a timely manner, and not start a fight with them.
Elliot: I'll go with you boss. I'm an A blood type. *Elliot and Blood leave*
TA: Boys, what are you?
Dee &Dum: AB. So why'd you really send boss after queenie and the stupid bunny?
TA: *Looks at the couch where Gowland is* So he wouldn't see Gowland, anger him, and start a shoot out in here. I still haven't gotten my room completely to a way I like it since the last time they did it. And I was being honest. Blood could easily get Vivaldi, who will ensure Peter comes.
Boris: I'm pretty sure, we'd just have to tell him you need him and he'd be here in a second.
*Everyone but TA laughs at this, while TA blushes*
TA: SHUT UP!
*The door opens and Dodo ushers the Jokers in, then waves to the room of people before turning to go back out for the rest*
Joker (warden): What the hell do you want now, Woman?
Joker (jester): Now, now Joker, I'm sure Miss TA has something important she needs of us.
TA: Really, she just needed to bring one of you. *under her breath* Preferably the jester half.
Joker (warden): WHAT WAS THAT?! WHY I -
Joker (jester): *clamps his hand over his counterpart* Thank you, my dear. So what do you need to know? *TA points to screen* Ah. Our blood type. We're AB.
*Door bursts open, then a flash of white and red is seen heading straight for TA, who can't see because her back is to the door at the moment*
Peter: *hugs TA from behind* TA, my dear! I've missed not having you near! *Sees Pierce, still sitting in her lap* What are you doing sitting in my dearest's lap? *asks in an angry tone*
Pierce: I-I- ahhhhhhh! *gets off her lap to go hide in a corner away from everyone*
TA: PETER! *Glares at the rabbit*
Peter: *Changes to rabbit form* I'm sor-ry.
TA: UHHH! I swear if you weren't in your rabbit form, I'd-
*Door opens as Blood and Elliot enter with Vivaldi*
Vivaldi: White? Are you here?
Peter: Yes, Your Majesty. *sounds annoyed, and makes no attempt to move away from TA*
Vivaldi: You better not make a habit of running off anytime the lovely writer needs something.
TA: Thank you Vivaldi, and don't worry. I only want him when the readers have a question for him.
Vivaldi: So what is the question you need us to answer? *comes closer to TA and Peter*
TA: What are your and Peter's blood types, Your Majesty?
Vivaldi: We are a type B.
Peter: I'm type A, my dear. By the way, what's your blood type? *All Role-holders look at TA interested to answer the question*
TA: I'm not being asked that question, you all are. So I'm not answering.
Boris: *cautiously walks up beside me, due to Peter staring daggers at him, and whispers loudly for the whole room to hear* You're type A, aren't you?
TA: NO! *blushes*
Boris: Liar.
Peter: You and I are the same!? That means if you ever need any blood, I'm all yours! *hops into TA's lap, and morphs back into his humanoid form* Can I sit in your here?
TA: NO! *shoves him off her lap, and everyone laughs at the spectacle*
*Door opens up as Dodo, Julius, Nightmare, and Gray enter*
Dodo: Okay. That's everyone. So tell everyone your blood types so we can move on to the next question already! *gasps, and falls on the floor exhausted*
Julius: I'm type A.
Nightmare: I'm type B.
Gray: And I'm type A.
Dodo: So that's everyone, now moving on to the next-
*Door opens, and everyone goes quiet as the last Role-holder enters to answer the question*
ALL except for TA: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! *All glare*
Jericho: The Writer over there, sent me a message to come here and answer some questions. So what do you need to know.
TA: Your blood type.
Jericho: O.
TA: O-kay. Moving on.
4. Is there a dead role?
Dodo: Of course there are, though, I can't tell you what they are, because knowing of them defeats the purpose of them being dead. *winks*
5. Jericho: Are you acting dumb by challenging Blood or are you that dumb?
Jericho: What? No. So being confident is considered dumb now?
TA: *Hold up sign that says: Yes. Yes, he is that dumb.* *Everyone laughs when they see the sign*
Jericho: What is everyone laughing at? *looks at TA, who has now put the sign away, causing everyone to laugh harder*
6. At everyone:What is your ideal roleholder?
TA: Dodo, why don't you start us off.
Dodo: Someone who does their best no matter what, and who always follows their clock.
Boris: *to DODO* BOR-ING! Someone who's bad ass and not afraid of anything, yet still knows how to have fun.
Ace: Someone who does their own thing, even if it's not what they're meant to do.
Julius: Someone who's dedicated to their Role, even if it's seen as the worst.
Nightmare: Someone who never has to do paperwork or gets sick.
Gowland: Someone who's kind, has a manly name... or feminine if they're a girl, and a great musician.
Gray: Someone who is both kind and strong, able to protect those they care about.
Peter: Someone who can get the girl of their dreams, be pure of heart, and germ-free.
Vivaldi: Someone who is regal and refined, with many loyal followers who adore them, and is very beautiful.
Jokers: Someone who keeps order, yet can show everyone a good time when needed, and who's tough.
Blood: Someone who knows what they want in life, takes it, and makes it theirs.
Dee & Dum: Someone who never really grows up, and is never boring!
Elliot: Someone who does what they think is right, even when everyone else thinks it's wrong.
Pierce: Someone who isn't afraid of everything, and can be proud of themselves.
Jericho: Someone who gets things done, even if they really don't want to.
Dodo: Okay, that's all you were needed for, so go! *starts moving all the Role-holders out of the room. Once they're all out, shuts the door, and leans against it, breathing heavily*
TA: Didn't want them to see the next question?
Dodo: Oh, shut up! *crosses arms and looks away*
7. By using Daphne's advice, I may or may not have broken something.
Daphne: WHAT?! Broke in what way?! Like, a bone in your hand/arm?! Or you threw the ball and you hit something and broke it? Please be the second one! If it's the first one, I am so so so sorry!
8. Would you eat mayonnaise mixed with applesauce?
Dodo: *Swallows hard* Ummm. This sounds like some combination Gray would create. And if Gray would make something like that... then no, because I want to live!
So those were all the questions from KiwiSplash, and this time we have even more questions! This set is from a first-time reviewer of the story, Miyukie-chama. Who is asking some questions that really made Daphne & Dodo sweat and think hard.
1.) Who do you like the most?
Dodo:Since Daphne doesn't remember anyone, she can't answer this one. So, I'll have to. And I don't know how I can! I like everyone almost the same and in different ways. Like how I see Vivaldi as a big sister and Dee and Dum as little brothers. Also, it depends on the day, and who's done something to make me mad at them, then whoever has managed to not get on my bad side is my most liked. (Sorry for those of you who wanted a straight answer.)
2.) If you had to be married, in what style would you like it to be?
Daphne: Okay, this one's mine! Well, Mom told me about her and Daddy's wedding, and I liked that they did a traditional church wedding. The pictures are soooo pretty! So definitely a wedding in a church. As far as a theme, that would be better determined if I already knew who my groom was (to give you a straight answer), because I would want it to be something that completely embodies us as a couple.
3.) What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about love?
Daphne: Happiness. True happiness, because when you have love in any form: parent/child, lovers, friendship, etc., I don't know how you wouldn't be happy, and if you were unhappy, as long as you have someone who loves you, then you won't stay that way for long.
4.) When you come back to Wonderland and had a choice whether to be a foreigner or the Dodo, which would you choose?
Dodo: Well, anything Wonderland related, I have to answer. So with this one, I am kinda biased, when I say The Dodo. My main reason being, as The Dodo, in Wonderland, I have powers to help me survive. Whereas a foreigner is completely defenseless and depends on other Role-holders to protect them. (Though there are some foreigners who can be very resourceful, most aren't.) So that's my answer and reason.
5.) Aside from food that you like as a Dodo, what other food do you like?
Daphne: Hmmm. Well, those foods are my top favorite, and I'm only a little bit of a picky eater. I tried this food called 'pizza' and it was delicious! So I add that to my list. I'm really excited to try what my parents call 'a fourth of July barbecue', because the menu sounds really yummy!
6.) Don't you think Ice Cream is the food of the gods and goddesses?
Daphne: YES! I really like twist, because it's the best of both!
7.) Have you ever tasted Nutella? If you haven't, try it, and I'm sure you'll go loco over it.
Daphne: Actually, yes! Mom's really big on eating healthy. But, I absolutely love it!
8.) If everyone loved you like a foreigner, not because of the game but because, well, they just do, would you give them a chance?
Dodo: If they truly loved me for me, then yes... but that's a lot of guys and chances!
9.) I really like you! We should get together sometime. How about we go have a BFF Day in the Foreigner's World? :)
Daphne: Ah, thanks! I like you too! And I'd totally love to!
10.) I personally think it would be lovely if we had a tea party. Will you come if I invite you? XD
Daphne: Sure! Just make sure to have lots of sugar~!
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, when your 'extra little something' for the readers, becomes the length of a chapter update. Besides it's the Role-holders fault for taking so long to get her.
Daphne: Oh, it's definitely good!
So we'll see you all again in the next chapter! Please review with comments of the story and/or with questions for Dodo & Daphne to answer.
*****OH! And before I forget, I've set up a poll for you to vote on which male Role-holder you want to be Daphne's love interest, as you'll soon see some are not going to be options, because I feel that they wouldn't blend well together at all. You can find it on my profile page. I'll let you know in one of the next couple of chapters when the poll will close. So don't wait too long to cast your vote!******
