Sakura: WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN AROUND TO UPDATE?

Nakamura: I uh…. Forgot?

Sasuke: Really. God dammit.

"Let's get started, shall we?"

Sasuke stared at the woman that he thought would have given up on life within the years that he was gone. Sakura was the type of person to beg on her very knees in front of him, to stop him from leaving Konoha.

This very woman was now standing in front of him, with the most dangerous glare that he had ever the chance to see. He picked himself up from the tree, and gathered chakra into his fingertips and feet, pushing off the ground right towards her. He would not let her get away with hurting him.

"I never thought'd you ask..."

His voice deepened as her ran towards her, the pounding of his feet on the ground left holes, which he used to push himself faster towards the pink konochi. His left hands raised across his face, jumping at the last moment to push the distance between them smaller. His hand thrust down towards her neck and chest, his smile that of a devious child would had won.

Sakura simply smiled and held her hand up within his path, and grasped his wrist tightly before it hit her. Moving her body to the right and twisting her torso, gave her the advantage to divert his attack completely and throw him to her side. She twisted back to normal and took a step to her right, quickly poking his chest with three fingers, that were glowing green. Her smile crept t the corners of her mouth as her left fist came around her body and punched him directly in her ribs.

Making no more moves after her initial ones, Sakura had counted 30 seconds.

Sasuke fell to the ground, his chest burning with a tearing sensation. He bit his lip until it bled, rolling around on the ground from the force of her throw. Feeling his body stop a ways away from their initial starting point - his body spasmed with severe pain.

Sakura could only laugh at the sight of his body on the ground. She knew this was going to be a cake walk for the first couple days. The poor fool hadn't been working on his technique since he left .

"I'm pretty sure you're supposed to hit me, not make me bored."

Her voice was taunting him, making fun of how insignificant that small amount of battling was. He was trying to move his body when Naruto showed up in a puff of smoke, holding a scroll. Sakura had turned her head to him, watching Naruto come towards her. Sasuke noticed that even together, the two of them had some awkwardness between them.

"Sakura. We have to leave now. Tsunande will help Sasuke herself."

Sakura stepped back in a moment of confusion.

"Wait, did she not put Sasuke under my care – herself?"

"She did, but we have a mission that needs our immediate attention. We nee-"

Sasuke at that moment had finally managed to stand, and was running at the two of them again, his eyes flashing with fury.

"I AM NOT JUST SOME PRISONER TO THROW AROUND!"

Naruto and Sakura both turned to him, their surprise evident on their faces. Sasuke was supposed to down and out for the count according to Sakura's medical ninjitsu. She quickly reacted to his outburst with a swift kick to the head as he got closer, knocking him out. Sasuke fell to the ground again, pushed over to the left with such force. She turned around again and grabed Naruto.

"Report to Tsunande. We will leave in 15 minutes. I'll come back to train him further. If he can manage it that is."

Sparing another glance towards the fallen shinobi, her lips tightened. This was not the Sasuke she knew and fell in love with. Something must have happened to him during the years apart. She tch'd slightly and disappeared.

"I'll come back for you… Sasuke."

A small run down of the story, and an update that I possibly will continue later. Its been three years, and I didn't know where I was going with this story.

But since I kept getting followers for this story, I will continue it.

Thanks again guys for the support.
