Milori sat in the library watching Clarion study. She was staring down at a textbook and taking notes. Clarion moved a strand of hair back behind her ear. Out of the corner of her eye, she looked at him. They made sudden eye contact and she looked away. He cheeks felt hot instantly. Clarion shut the book and stared at him, "Don't you have something to do? Somewhere to be? It's hard to study with you staring at me!"

"You do seem to be struggling, what class?" He grabbed her notebook and looked it over.

"Wiggins, he's giving us a test on friday and I just can't seem to understand the material, especially this propaganda. How am I supposed to teach high school kids if I don't even understand it," she let out a sigh and began to rub her temples, "I can't take a test on this."

After a few moments of looking over the notes she had been taking and comparing them to the text he realized the problem. "You said Wiggins, right?"

"Yep."

"Okay, first of all, you're trying too hard. The test is easy. I had Wiggins my freshman year. Two, half of these notes you've taken are meaningless." Milori grabbed the nearby pen and started crossing out sentences and segments. At one point he just started putting X's and circled what she needed. "There." He handed the paper back to her.

"Ugh, you nearly crossed out the whole thing!"

"No I haven't, read the stuff that I've circled and then you may argue with me."

Clarion read over the paper and took out another piece of paper. She glanced up and narrowed her eyes on him. Miori smirked as she continued to copy down what he had circled. "Okay, now what?"

"How about coffee? And scones?"

A smile came across her face, "I'd like that."

"Wow, I didn't think that would work."

"And why do you say that?"

"I distinctly remember you having some very specific standards."

"Yes, well, you do meet at least one."

He smirked at her and packed up his things. "So what kind of coffee would you like."

Clarion and Milori sat at a table in the university's coffee shop, sipping coffee and eating blueberry were talking about who knows what at this point, but based on their laughter and mentioning of Wiggins it was not something too serious.

"You mean to tell me that he's was a pervert even back then?" Clarion asked.

"It was only three years ago! And yes he was such a pervert! It's almost borderline pedophilia!" Milori exclaimed.

"Don't I know it! And the girls actually seem to like it, they encourage him!"

"Well, enough about Wiggins, I know plenty about him. Tell me about yourself."

Clarion thought it over a moment, "I'm an only child. I grew up in Seattle with my parents. Sort of, they were always traveling for business."

"It can't be that bad," Milori replied as he took another bite of his scone.

"And by traveling I mean to Milan, Beijing, Sydney, any big name city you name it they've been there."

"Oh," Milori reached for her hand and grasped it in his own. Her eyes widened at the sudden contact and she blushed furiously. When she met his gaze he stared at her with understanding. She snapped out of her state of contemptment and when back to explaining, but she didn't pull her hand away.

"I was a straight A student with top honors in High School. I was accepted into Columbia University on scholarship."

"With all the places your parents go to I'd think that they'd be able to pay for you to go to college."

"Well you thought wrong." There was a long pause, "Tell me about you."

"Oh, alright. My family didn't travel much, but we did move a lot and most of the time it was all over the country. I'm not an only child. When I was thirteen my parents adopted my little sister, Periwinkle, when she was five. She's been my best friend ever since. I graduated High School with third honors with the help of multiple tutors. Thanks to those tutors I was put at the top of the waiting list for Columbia University. I spent my entire High School career working three jobs at once and saving up to pay for my tuition and now here I am."

"Woah. How many times did you move?"

"Maybe eight? From New York to Pennsylvania, and from there to Wisconsin. After that we went back up north to Massachusetts. Then all the way to the other side of the country to California, then halfway back into Texas, and finally back to Wisconsin."

"Woah!"

"Oh and since the last time we moved we've had a sheep dog named Fiona, a cat named Dewey, and two mixed dogs named Lucky and Cookie."

"Wow, so you are a pet family?"

"Yes, I guess you could say that. Do you have any pets?"

"No, but I've always wanted a cat. A white one with blue eyes, and I'd name him or her Frosty."

"That's adorable."

RING!

Second period was over and Clarion had a class to get to. They both sighed. Neither had been paying attention and it seemed like their little date, well, if you'd call this a date, had gone by faster than the speed of light. You could tell that they both didn't want this to end, but oh well.

Clarion put her laptop back into her bag and slung it over her shoulder, "Bye, I'll-"

"Hey, let me walk you to class," he towered over her, but his smile was warm.

"Are you sure? I mean won't you get swarmed by girls along the way?"

"Yes, but it's an excuse to spend more time with you."

Blush crept across her face and she nodded. He took her hand and they walked out of the coffee shop.

Unbeknownst to them a girl sitting in one of the nearby chairs had been spying in them the whole time! She had been taking pictures and writing down all the things Milori and Clarion had said to one another. It was going to be all over the Milori Wintrix fan club page in minutes and Milori and Clarion would be swarmed by girls once again. Shouldn't this kind of stuff happen to real celebrities, not some innocent college students!
