AN: it will be a different prophesy than the one I've already written and please bear with me until I come up with how the artefact survived.
Chapter IV
The Soretal was an old artefact, it was even older than creation (), it was one of the last remnants of an old civilization that existed way before what exists now a days, it had been uncovered by seven beings on a world on the other side of creation so far from Earth that it will be many millennia before the Human race even made it that far.
The seven that had uncovered it swore, once they had felt the power that it let off, to make sure that it didn't fall into the wrong hands, so they created a piece of magic that would scour all of creation for beings with approximately the same personality as them. Months after the seven had found the ancient relic another seven found out about it and the power that they could wield by using said relic, but unlike the seven that found it these seven wanted to use the relic to cause absolute chaos and destruction.
Between these fourteen beings a war broke out, a war that wouldn't end in their life time. During the war through the ages, several worlds and civilizations were wiped out accidentally but some of those civilizations were still around. The seven that had uncovered the relic had been dubbed the Alseroen meaning Protectors, whilst their enemies had been dubbed the Crendorsen meaning Destroyers, none of the races truly comprehended what exactly the Alseroen where protecting, nor are the translations of their names literally what the name truly means.
The original Protectors had a prophesy that told of the end of the war , it also said that one of the future Alseroen was the subject of two other prophesies one of them would affect a world that in the future would be under Asguards protection, one that to them at the time was a planet that currently had no intelligent life as it was still in the formation stages. At the final confrontation in the original Alseroens life they destroyed the Crendorsen at the cost of their life but before the last of the Alseroen died he activated the piece of magic that they had created and a year later a new generation of the Alseroen rose to take the mantle of their ancestors and at the same time a new generation of Crendorsen rose to do the same.
But let's fast-forward to the present for the moment, as the past is great to know not to make the same mistakes that our ancestors make but it's also good to live in the present.
After he had made sure that his car was safely stored away on the Helicarrier he walked to the bridge and greeted Bruce.
"So, where's he being held?" Harry questioned, ignoring everyone else.
"He's being held in the cell that SHIELD designed to hold me; you know the circular one that we laughed about?" Bruce replied very aware that they were being stared at.
"Ahhh... That one, really it makes sense as it is the only thing that is relatively strong enough to hold him." Harry thought out loud, Fury looked at the one person that had managed to evade SHIELD for an extended amount of time successfully without slipping once and was slightly impressed and surprised at his reasoning, it was as if he was familiar with Loki's abilities.
Once Harry had the location he took off in the direction of the cell, on the way he went over what he was going to say to his errant Father. Back on the bridge Fury ordered one of his people to bring Harry's progress through the Helicarrier on screen and was surprised that he was walking the correct path but he supposed that it shouldn't be a surprise considering that he managed to hack into SHIELD and keep the source of the hacking a secret. Fury turned a questioning look on Bruce that demanded answers.
"Both of us know the layout of every base SHIELD has as 99% of the time he hacked into SHIELD using a piece of software that makes the system think that the person with the highest clearance possible in the organisation was looking up information." Bruce explained to Fury and the others.
"I haven't even gotten that far yet." Stark muttered, not meaning to be heard but he was.
"Well you didn't exactly have the amount of free time that Harry has had or you would probably be on the same level as him maybe slightly lower or higher, who knows." Bruce said to Tony.
Tony thought over what Banner said and saw that it made sense because if he had been in seclusion hiding from something he would have a lot of spare time to come up with new technology and programs.
Meanwhile Harry was standing outside the door that leads to his Fathers cell just now realising that his time of peace had truly come to an end he had known it but it had never sunk in till now, all that the realisation did was reawaken his fury at his father for forcing him out of his hiding place, thought it was admittedly getting a bit boring after that thought he opened the door and stepped into the room, gaining his Fathers attention as he did so.
"Hello Father, It's been a while hasn't it." Harry said as he watched his Fathers expression and saw that his eyes were widening, with a look of surprise and relief on his face.
"My son." Loki muttered stepping closer to the glass that was separating them; all the while drinking in the sight of the son that he had thought was dead.
"Why did you attack Midguard? Why did you bow to a mad man? Why did you leave me that night? Condemning me to a life of pain, misery and not knowing whether or not you cared!" Harry asked his Father losing a little of his control at the end, he took a deep breath wanting to regain the control that he had momentarily lost.
The Avengers, except Bruce, looked on with wide eyes wondering how they had not known that piece of information; Thor looked wide eyed at the Father/Son duo and watch as his nephew asked his brother questions.
"My Son, I swear that had I known that you were here on Midguard without your Mother I would have come and got you! Please..." But Harry cut him off with a cold look that would have made even the bravest person freeze in pure and undiluted fear whilst they regretted ever bringing the attention of the one that was glaring onto them.
"Save your pleas and excuses for some one that cares to listen to them." Was all he said then he added in a harsh tone "All I want is the truth and I don't care if it hurts I still want it, all my life valuable information and sometime some personal information, that has no importance to others but to me could have made a difference, was withheld from me so you WILL tell me."
Loki stared for a second before deciding that honesty was the best route to go down considering the state that his son was in.
"Odin had banished me to Midguard, placing me in a stillborn infant, locking away my memories; it was only after the attack that I learned that your Mother was from a race similar to my own. That night when Voldemort attacked and 'killed' me, but in reality he threw me from my mortal body back into my immortal one, I assumed that Lily had been mortal and would take care of you had she escaped but I was mistaken. When I awoke Odin forbade me from going down to Midguard, saying that I was not needed there, but when I had the chance I went and convinced Heimdal to keep watch over you without telling Odin, he told me that you were sent to Petunias and that sometimes you disappeared from his sight for hours at times and all ways came back exhausted. Then you disappeared from his sight again but this time you didn't return and the only time someone disappears from Heimdals sight permanently is if they are dead." Here he paused wondering if he should go on but decided not to even if he hadn't answered all of his son's questions.
Harry looked at his Father wondering why he had only answered one of three questions but he supposed that now the answer to one of them was obvious.
"I understand what you trying to say but I don't forgive you. It's unforgivable that you were partially the culprit for me having a bad childhood I only wished that I had known this years ago so I could have used my feeling to defeat the one that was the primary culprit." Harry said after a while.
Loki bowed his head after hearing what Harry had said, not that he blamed his son for not forgiving him yet but he would do anything to get his sons forgiveness and that he vowed.
"Tell me father, why did you put Clint Barton under your control?" Harry asked.
"I put him under the effects of the staff because he was a good agent and not only that but he's reliable. Why do you ask?" Loki replied looking at his son curiously.
"I wanted to know the reason as to why my brother is currently a mindless drone." Harry replied then he turned around and started to walk towards the door.
As he was about to go through the door he turned and looked at his father taking in his stance and judging whether or not he would be truthful when he replied to the next question, but Harry wasn't going to bet on it not in a long shot, he was willing to take a chance. "I have one more question, how do you snap someone out of the staff's control?"
After Harry had turned away and had started to walk towards the door Loki had bowed his head in defeat thinking that his son was going to leave him there, but when he heard his sons voice his head snapped up to look at his son thinking about the answer to his question. "All you need to do to snap someone out of the staffs control is to perform a cognitive recalibration."
At that Harry raised his eyebrow looking at his father in disbelief. "So your saying that all it takes to get Clint back to normal is to hit him over the head really hard?" when his father nodded in response he laughed at the irony of the answer being so simple, that no one had thought of it, then an errant thought passed through his head and he started grinning, after all he owed Clint one.
Banner watched as Harry left to confront his Father, after the automated door had closed behind Harry, Banner turned around and asked one of the technicians to bring up the feed of Loki's cell so he could watch his friend direct his ire at someone else.
"Umm... Aren't you worried that your friend will kill Loki?" Steve asked from the chair he was currently occupying.
Banner turned his head to look at the Captain, after a moment he shook his head and turned back to keep an eye o the screen, a minute later he said "Harry would never harm someone he considers family unless he had no other option, of course that does not mean that if you piss him of he won't direct his wrath upon you, and if you think that for a second then you are naïve, you should of seen the tongue lashing that Harry bestowed upon Clint when he came back from a mission in which he made a stupid decision," Banner laughed "I'll tell you it's better watching someone else be the object of his ire than be said object, of course since it's his father he will probably get back at him in some underhanded way or something along that vein of thought so he won't spend unnecessary time shouting but he will be spending it planning."
Everyone looked at Banner hopping that he would continue but he didn't, then they heard the distorted sound of an automated door opening on the other side of the feed, they turned as one to watch the proceedings.
And they all silently agreed that the preferred someone that raved then someone that was calm and collected when angry or beyond angry.
