I know that I haven't updated in forever, but I just had no inspiration to continue this story- until just recently. Which led to the birth of this new chapter. I hope it's OK and style accurate to the previous chapters. . Anyway, I am currently working on the next chapter and hope to update soon. If you are reading this, thanks for not giving up on me!

"What the-" Alois started. The boy that he was about to publicly humiliate and disgrace had vanished, left in his place were wisps of black smoke.

"WHAT"S GOING ON IN HERE?!" Ronald barged in the kitchen and interrupted Alois. Surveying the scene, the unlucky counselor saw the boy, fist raised, facing the wall. The other campers had formed a half circle around the blonde, watching him.

"Alois hit Ciel, Mr. Knox," Lizzie piped up.

"Hit? I'll have you know that any violence outside of the sports activities we have planned isn't permitted." Ronald stated. "Where is Ciel, Trancy?" He questioned.

"I- I…" Alois began sniffling a bit. "Ciel h-hit me." The boy lied. "He was so angry after losing and he just exploded. I swear, I'm scared of him. He's out of control."

"But I saw-" Lizzie started, but cut herself off due to a death glare by Alois. She knew she wouldn't be able to beat him if she started a feud.

"And then he just disappeared," Alois continued. " He's probably scared of you, Mr. Knox. I bet he ran away and that he's in the forest somewhere right now."

Pain. Ciel's right eye burned as if it had been ripped out of it's socket. He tried to open it and failed. Instead, he lifted his right eyelid.

"Black…?" Ciel whispered. His head was leaning against something soft and invariably dark. Keeping his right eye closed, Ciel lifted his head, sat up and immediately saw a pair of red eyes shrouded in blackness peering above him.

"My lord. You are awake." A mouth moved in the darkness. A voice. No, not just any voice, Ciel realized. This was the voice of-

"Sebby?" Ciel questioned. "Is that you?"

"Yes, my lord." Sebby replied.

"Ho-"

"Please, my lord. Don't strain yourself. How is your eye feeling?" Sebby looked concerned.

"My eye is fine," Ciel lied. "But please, tell me what the heck is going on. How are you even here? Is 'Sebby' still on my phone?" Ciel realized that he should probably check his device to figure out what was happening. Turning it on, Ciel flipped through his apps, but Sebby had disappeared. And had apparently also saved him (except, sadly, his right eye) from getting beaten up by Alois. And he was staring at him, in real life.

"No, the system 'Sebby' is no longer on your phone, young master. However, isn't it better to have me here with you?" The robot-turned-human (if he was even human…) explained.

"But who are you?" Ciel needed answers. He was getting impatient.

"I am a demon sent from Hell." Sebby replied, as if he said that every day.

"This has got to be a joke," Ciel thought. "Hell? There is no such thing."

Without waiting for Ciel to reply, the supposed demon continued.

"Every demon has the chance to form a contract with a human. I chose you. I have been watching over you ever since 'Sebby' appeared on your phone."

"But why now? Why not, let's say, a month ago? Two months ago? And do I have to give consent for this contract to be formed?" Ciel questioned, still not even sure if he believed the black clothed man in front of him was even a demon or not.

"Hmm… let's just say I have a feeling that you are more likely to form a contract with me now than before," Sebby said vaguely.

"And why is that?" Ciel quizzed.

Ignoring Ciel's questions, Sebby got to the point.

"Would you like to form a contract with me?" The demon smirked at his prey, hoping he wouldn't be able to resist.

"And what are the terms?" Ciel's remaining blue eye met with Sebby's pair of red ones.

"All I ask for is your soul."

"My soul?!" The blue haired boy didn't believe it. This was all just some prank by one of the counselors or campers. Maybe another test of strength.

"Hah!" Ciel started snorted. "You got me for a second there!"

"Got you? This is no prank. I'm dead serious." The demon's red eyes flashed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Ciel 'agreed.' "I'd better be heading back to my cabin now. Thanks for saving me," Ciel stood and began walking in a random direction, hoping that he would find civilization somewhere.

"Young master! Wait! Before you go, take this," Sebby caught up with the boy and handed him a black eyepatch. "Put this on over your right eye. And if you ever need me, call out my name- Sebastian."

"Thanks." Slipping the eyepatch on, Ciel began walking away through the forest again, turning his back on Sebastian for good- or so he thought.

And there you have it. I hope you like the direction that this is going? Any feedback is appreciated. :)
