Nerima meets Ranma's new fiancée!

"Nyea Nyea, Ranma you can't catch me!" Mai teased Ranma as she stuck her tongue out at him pulling her eye lid down.

"Mai you're so uncute, just give me my rice ball." Ranma said as he tried to catch Mai, but she always dodged him no matter how much he tried.

Ranma chased Mai along the roof top.

Mai jump from the Tendo's roof onto the rock in front of the koi pond landing gracefully.

" And Mai gracefully sticks her landing," Soun shouted in a microphone as he, Genma, and Nabiki all held up cards that have a 10 in red written on them.

Mai turns smiling and bowing at their applause. Ranma growled in frustrations as he stomped and stood in front of Mai. She looked at him smirking waving the rice ball in the air in front of Ranma.

"That's it Mai. You left me no choice… Kashu Tenshin Amaguriken." And with that battle cry Ranma set off in a spring of fury fists towards Mai.

Akane looked up at the two fighting with her eyes wide," Wow it looks like she's not even moving."

Soun nodded gravely as Genma spoke up," Mai comes from the Anything Goes Martial Arts house of Nakamaru. It's said that house has been around since the time of the Emperors the Nakamaru clan was known all among Japan and China. They were the strongest around and varied from being samurais, assassins, and ninja, even said the emperors themselves would have rather have ten Nakamaru men around their palace than have a whole army. And even Mai isn't the only child she reins from a long line of siblings with her strength."

Akane dazed as she thought of what Genma was saying. She can see big tough men wearing the clothing of ninjas, assassins, and samurais wearing mean frowns on their face. Then with the last part she saw Mai smiling waving and several distant shadows behind her laughing evilly with red glowing eyes. "They're as strong as Mai?" Akane asked her eyes blinking rapidly as she turned her gaze back on Ranma and Mai.

Mai giggled," Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, please Ranma couldn't think of anything better." But Mai yawned," Ranma this is getting boring." And with that said Mai sent a punch to Ranma's chin ending him flying and falling into the koi pond.

Ranma shot out of the pond spitting out water. "Aw Mai what the hell was that for?" Ranma yelled in her high pitch girl voice.

Mai just laughed," Ranma I can't marry you if this was your best."

"Mai, you just can't be calling of our proposal like that." Ranma said as he fallowed Mai back into the dining room. Mai rolled her eyes and smiled over at Akane," What are we doing today?"

Soun interrupted," School. I've got into contact with your father in Kyoto and seeing as in your now a guest in my house he has asked me to register you into high school."

Mai pouted.

"So you're going to Furinkan with us," Nabiki smirked," This is going to be interesting."

"Akane, Mai hurry up and get down here." Ranma shouted as he stood waiting at the door.

Both girls came walking down the stairs wearing their uniform laughing and giggling with each other.

Nabiki looked up at the two girls in shock written on her face and spoke over to Ranma," Would ya look at that. It's like they've always been close."

Ranma looked over at Mai. Mai wore her head down allowing it in its original state of being long and straight. She wore the white blouse and blue skirts with dress shoes, while carrying her own school bag like Akane's. Ranma raised an eyebrow," Hey Mai what's with all the get up?"

Mai scoffed," It's the uniform all girls are wearing at Furinkan."

Akane," Yeah Ranma don't be such an idiot."

Akane, Ranma, and Mai walk into Furinkan High. The cherry blossoms lightly glazed down onto the campus.

Mai smiled and looked over at the two," It's so pretty."

Akane nodded smiling, while Ranma mumbled to himself," Stupid girls."

"Hey who's that girl?"

"What a girl!"

"Hello-oooo Nurse."

"I'm gonna get a closer look."

"Woah!"

"WOW"

"What a babe"

"What's her name"

"You're asking me, I'm asking you"

"Just asked a simple question."

"Stop fighting and find out her name."

"Hey maybe she's a transfer student."

"Yeah from France."

Mai was the only one oblivious to all the stares, and path way of rows of boys on both sides. Ranma and Akane both glared at the guys.

They suddenly stop walking when lightning stroke the once clear sky. The cherry blossoms turned into red rose petals blowing in the air.

"Ah here among the rose Akane Tendo and the buffoon Ranma Soatome, is a new found Beauty. As my eyes gaze upon thee even the heavens may weep. Like the goddess Venus thrusts her own crown onto thou's head. 'Unearthlier happy is the rose distilled, Than that which withering on the virgin thorn Grows, lives and dies in single blessedness. They fought you for your company, If they could manage to defeat [me] that is. These... weaklings. Such a boorish lot, truly. What fools these mortals be…. Surely the gates to heaven are open to us! It is... Our destiny. Lady, wilt thou travel with me upon the path of love?'" Kuno held out a single rose to Mai whose wide eyes were blinking rapidly. Ranma and Akane were both glowering in anger.

Mai looked back to Akane then turned back to Kuno," No thank you." And with that Mai turned around her hair swaying side to side as she continued to walk, leaving Ranma and Akane with a shocked Kuno.

Ranma laughed," Sorry Kuno, you can't date Mai unless you beat her in a battle." And with that Ranma and Akane were making their way behind Mai.

" Mai." Kuno began to think aloud," A battle you say?" Kuno began to cackle and strike his kendo stick in the air," Then Mai I shall defeat you and place a divine kiss upon your lips."

"She looks so annoyed." Akane said as she looked over at Mai. Her eyes widened at the sight of all the guys in her class surrounding Mai's desk. Akane saw her head down seeming calm, but she observed her clenched fists under her desk.

Mai clenched and unclenched her hands under her desk. 'These guys need to leave me alone. So I left China and my suitors just to gain more here. That's just great.'

"So Mai, you're free after school?"

"Your pretty cute, Mai."

"Yo, yo pal I was here first!"

"My butt you were here first I outta!"

"Say Mai maybe I could buy you some tea!"

"Hey get your own girl chump!"

"Guys guys lets not bicker and argue."

Tatewaki Kuno stood outside of the class room doorway with two bouquets of roses in each of his hands. "For Akane Tendo this," he said lifting his right hand," And for the pig tailed girl this," lifting his left hand then pressing his hands together," But for Mai Nakamaru both." He ended it by cackling loudly.

His laugh was cut short when Ranma toppled him over Ranma didn't even look back just shouted back a quick sorry.

'These guys really need to leave me alone.' Mai laughed uncomfortably as she smiled really hard with her eyes closed, trying to be nice, and waved her hands in front of her. "Um no its fine guys… hee hee… I think I'll just go…." Mai noticed Ranma bound into the room over near Akane sticking a melon pan into his mouth. "I was just going to go over with Ranma. He is my fiancé." She said as she quickly walked over to Ranma and cuddled his arm as she emphasized the word fiancé.

Everyone within hearing distance heard mouth fell open including Akane's. All the guys erupted in unison.

"Ranma don't you have enough fiancés?"

"Why do you get all the cute girls?"

"Ranma you dog."

Kuno jumped into the room trying to strike Ranma. "Soatome you insulate fool. Haven't you had enough with bedding Akane Tendo, so now you must take upon you Mai Nakamaru?"

"Hey Kuno calm down…."

Before Ranma can finish or even dodge another strike from his kendo stick Kuno was lying face down a book bag over his head.

And above him was a fuming Akane," Nobody said anything about bedding you idiot."

Mai stood over Akane's shoulder looking down at Kuno.

After the final bell rang releasing the students, Mai made a run for it out dodging all her new suitors, as now as the sun is faced towards the east she returned to the Tendo Residence.

She jumped onto the wall then made a quick leap to land onto a stone near the koi pond. "Is anyone here?" Mai called out as she walked closer to the house's terrace.

Happosai ignored her voice at first as he looked over a brazier magazine while lying on the terrace.

"Hello?"

"Who's calling…" He called out first angrily until he turned around and caught a look at Mai in her school uniform. He smiled," Aw my darling Mai."

And before she can say anything he jumped her trailing everywhere on her body until he finally landed behind her and lifted her skirt.

She squealed and tried to bring down the back of her skirt quickly keeping her arms on the back of her thighs as she angrily kicked Happosai into the distance.

"I wouldn't have taken you as a lace type of girl." Ranma called out to Mai from his standing position on the Tendo wall.

Mai span around to face Ranma, her cheeks grew pink as she glared heatedly at Ranma. "Ranma you pervert."

"Mai, Ranma?" Kasumi called from the terrace, she pulled both of their attention from the argument. " Would you both mind going into town and pick up a few things for dinner?"

Mai nodded smiling," Sure Kasumi."

Ranma narrowed his eyes," Why couldn't you have Akane get it?" Next thing he knows a stone was thrown at his head, a flash of pain ran threw his body. He grabbed on top of his head as he turned to glare at Mai. " What'da you that for?"

Mai just ignored Ranma as Kasumi began to speak," I would have but I didn't want to bother her she seems to be busy."

"Don't worry Kasumi Ranma and I would be happy to go."

"Now Ranma was it that hard to go into town to pick up more soy sauce for dinner, I mean I know for a fact you would've been quiet upset if there wasn't soy sauce at the table." Mai said teasingly as at Ranma.

"Hmm oh shut it," Ranma grumble causing Mai to giggle as they continued to walk down the park Ranma being the gentleman he is holding the bag.

Mai paused as she heard a slight rumbling, as she stopped in her steps so did Ranma and turned back to look at her. "What are you waiting around for?"

"Don't you hear that?"

"Hear what?" As they both stood still to listen they finally heard it clearer it sounded like a million running footsteps.

Then just as they looked over their shoulders they say a heard of boys in their school uniforms running their way.

"RANMA YOU JERK GOING BEHIND OUR BACK LIKE THAT SHE'S OURS TOO YOU SLIME BALL!"

Ranma rolled his eyes," Great just what I needed."

"Come on let's get out of here," Mai grabbed onto Ranma's free hand and pulled him into a run from the crowd of crazy hormonal teen boys.

"Huh, okay." And with that Ranma and Mai ran alongside each other in order to escape the herd behind them.

From a large green bush came a couple rustling, a figure soon stepped out of it. He stood tall as he surveyed the area. He stood tall with short black hair held up in a yellow and black bandana with a matching yellow shirt and black pants. "That's strange the ocean should be around here somewhere."

Ryoga turned to his right and caught sight of Ranma and a young girl with long black hair and green eyes running his way, but the major factor that caught his eyes was that their hands were latched onto each other. Ryoga's face soured," Ranma? That scumbag what would Akane think if she saw this." He pulled his fist up as he prepares a dash towards Ranma," YOU'LL PAY."

As Ranma and Mai got closer he made a jump toward Ranma his fist aimed. "RANMA PREPARE TO DIE!"

Ranma dodged his attacks as he grumbled to himself," What did I do now?"

Mai stood to the side as she watched this new strange boy try to attack Ranma.

Ryoga only growled," How dare you betray Akane, PIG!" He tried to throw and land a punch but Ranma grabbed his wrist and threw him towards the bushed he came out off.

"You're the pig, pork butt."

Ryoga shook in anger," Don't change the subject you two timer AAAAAHHHH!" He shouted as he made a run head on towards Ranma.

But right before he landed the hit he stopped it inches in front of a small button nose. Around his large fist he felt a small warm hand over it, Ryoga confusedly pulled his hand down and stared questioningly into a pair of huge green eyes cascaded in long black lashes.

Mai smiled up at the stranger then turned over to scowl at Ranma," Jeez Ranma what did you do to him? You didn't make a marriage proposal with him too now did you?"

Ranma growled and got in her face and slapped her upside the head," Now don't be stupid Mai. As if I'd marry Mr. P."

Mai scowled as she rubbed the back of her head ready to strike Ranma, but she was beat to the punch by Ryoga. Well more like an elbow to the back of the head by Ryoga.

Ranma howled in pain as he grabbed the back of his head in pain as he whirled around to glare at Ryoga. "What the hell did you do that for?"

Ryoga just scowled at him," You never call a girl stupid, even if you are two timing Akane with her."

Mai blinked her large eyes repeatedly. 'Did he just stand up for me?' A light pink came over her face and then magnified when she heard the rest of what he was saying. 'So much for standing up for me.' She sighed and got in-between the two fighting boys and glared up at Ryoga," Ranma isn't two timing Akane per say. We are fiancés, well that's if he can beat me." She said that last part snidely throwing it to Ranma.

"Oh just watch me, I'll beat you if it's the last thing I'll do then you'll have to marry me." Ranma wailed at her.

Mai rolled her eyes," As if I plan to never marry you, seeing as you can't even beat me."

Ryoga heard her words," Your stronger than Ranma?"

Mai stopped bickering with Ranma and turned to look at him fully. She nodded.

Ryoga smiled," Finally someone to put him in his place, if your stronger than Ranma then that means you can train me and then I'll be able to defeat him."

Mai looked at him as Ryoga started to smile into the distance day dreaming of beating Ranma and taking Akane for his own.

Ryoga grabbed both her hands and looked down at her hopefully. "So will you train me?"

Mai blinked a couple times and spoke unsurely," I don't know…"

Before she can say anymore they heard the same roaring noise of boys.

"THERE HE IS! AND NOW LOOK AT IT SOATOME BROUGHT A FRIEND LETS GET THEM!"

Ryoga looked down to his hands that were still holding Mai's and up to her face and blushed madly letting them go. Mai just sighed and grabbed the grocery bag from a dazed Ranma. "You boys better start running." And with that Mai left them with the crowd as she made her way back to the Tendo Residence with the stealth of a ninja so she wouldn't be caught by any of her fan boys.

Happosai happily sits on the terrace as the sun starts to rest. He hums happily to himself as he opens a white box in front of him and pulls out a robe about his size.

Akane sees him and smiles walking over," Hi there what do you have there?"

Happosai smiles as she looks up to Akane to show her his robes," A formal kimono for an upcoming wedding."

Akane smiled at the word," Wedding? Who's wedding?"

"Why Ranma and Mai's wedding. Who'd ya think?"

Akane's face dropped as she flinched back eyes wide, "WHAT?"

Happosai gets a lectures look on his face," Now the two are probably…" He starts to breathe perversely into his hand as if imagining the dirty thinks those two can be doing alone.

Akane only continued to look horrified," They're what?"

*Cue Ranma Break Song*

"HIYA YA EYA HIYA!"

Akane continuously throws around the dojo dummy as she practices her martial arts. She puffs angrily as she throws the dummy down. "That jerk like I care. Let him skip practice." She said furiously to herself.

"Oh Akane, Ranma's not back yet?"

Akane turned around to see Mai in clothing similar to her own gear, the only difference was that her hair was up in a ponytail. Akane couldn't help but let the jealously come over her as she saw Mai.

" Nope." And with that she turned around and decided to throw swift punches and kicks into the air.

Mia nodded and shrugged her shoulders as she decided to warm up in the dojo. "Akane you wouldn't believe the day I had. It was so annoying being surrounded by all those guys, and I think its even worse that I admitted to every one Ranma was my fiancé I think that's just gonna bring trouble I mean from what you've told me he has like two more fiancés her in Nerima, right? I mean can't that boy just straighten out his priorities."

Akane's roll punches slowed down as she heard Mai talk. 'So she isn't after Ranma after all? Should've guessed and not listened to grandfather Happosai.'

"Hey Akane, want me to help you out with your training since Ranma isn't here?"

Akane turned to face Mai who was doing a hand stand. Mai smiled up to her.

Akane laughed nodding," Sure that would be great."

At the Kuno residence Kodachi sat seething into the dark sky as loyal Sasuke brings her important news.

" HE'S WHAT? Consorting with that newly cute brute Mai Nakamaru? I haven't even heard of that girl until now?"

Sasuke nodded gravely," Indeed o-of course your still the fairest in the land mistress."

Kodachi glared down at Sasuke," I know that you fool." Kodachi angrily broke her black rose's stem," Still to betray me like this."

"Only a cad would behave so ungentlemanly fashion my mistress."

Kodachi stand up furiously and throws her rose to the side," True we are way past time of reckoning."

Kuno stands to the side opposite of his sister's terrace and hides behind his shoji door and curses Ranma," Fiend why must you interfere with your betters." He strikes his sword into the air "CURSE YOU SOATOME."

….

"So you're saying Ranma honey has a new fiancé?" Ukyo asked Ryoga as he stuffed his mouth with okonomiyaki.

He nodded," Yup."

Ukyo shook her head," This won't be good. I need Ranma honey all to myself now I'm only getting farther away. What will I do?"

….

"Goodbye. Thank you eating Cat Café." Shampoo smiled at her leaving customers.

Cologne came in with her long wooden staff," Listen here Shampoo. Happy just told me Ranma has gotten himself a new and stronger fiancé."

Shampoo gasped in shock," Hiya no."

"This means I can finally have you for myself Shampoo, come to me." Moose ran blindly over to Shampoo without his glasses, so he clumsily ran into a table tipping it over and bringing water over himself.

Shampoo growled in anger," Stupid Moose Shampoo no love you."

Ranma grumbles to himself as he walks home with his hands in his pocket. Dog in the distance howl as he comes to the Tendo Residence he walks and comes face to face with and angry Akane whose arms are crossed over her chest Mai accompanied Akane to wait for Ranma but she stood on top of the Tendo entrance gate practicing her flexibility.

"Okay let's hear your excuse this time."

Ranma opened his mouth but was stopped when he suddenly lurched forward as he felt weight fall on his back and things wrap around his shoulders.

"Hey what the heck?" He turned around to see Mai on his back smiling down at him unlike Akane she stood in the dojo until then working out.

"Ranma why were you late? You kept Akane waiting what are you trying to do lose your other fiancé?" Mai said playfully causing Akane to blush and Ranma to glare towards her.

"Oh shut it Mai."

As they were ready to get into a heated argument Ryoga came gliding down between Ranma and Akane glaring over at Ranma. "Ranma this time you have gone too far."

Mai popped up from Ranma's shoulder seeing as she was still on his back. "Hi Ryoga."

Ryoga looked totally confused," Uh h-hi Mai."

Suddenly Kuno came racing over and landed beside Ryoga," Do you have no honor at all?"

Ranma was confused," What the?"

Akane frowned and her eye twitched.

Mai's eyes widened,' where are they all coming from?"

Suddenly they all turn their head as they heard a loud cackle. Mai turned to see a girl with black hair and eyes. She wore a long black skirt, white blouse, red bow, and she wore her black hair in a side pony tail. She laughed covering her mouth and landed down gracefully onto the ground and purred over to Ranma," Bonswa my dear." She then looked over to see Mai on her Ranma," You filthy cretonne."

Mai frowned immediately," Excuse me, you air headed girl."

Kodachi jumped back shot then quickly regained an angry face," You dare call Kodachi the Black Rose air headed."

" Oh I dare."

"You brute."

Mai gasped and scowled," Yeah well at least I'm cute your butt ugly."

Kodachi's emotion shattered," W-what?"

Kuno jumped in front of Ranma trying to grab onto Mai. "You not neadth fight with my sister, to capture my attention. Jump into my arms for warmth." Kuno opened his arms earning himself Mai's foot and Ranma's elbow to his face.

Ranma frowned down at him, "Oh stuff it."

The hair on the back of Mai's neck stood up and she immediately jumped off of Ranma's back and landed beside Akane, perfectly dodging two spatula's and a (light green, pink and yellow) chui that ended hitting Ranma's back.

"OUCH WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?" Ranma growled as he turned around and caught sight of Shampoo and Ukyo.

Mai looked over to Akane with her eyebrow raised.

"That's Shampoo and Ukyo, Ranma's other fiancés." Akane said sourly staring up at them with her arms crossed over her chest a permanent frown on her face.

Mai looked back up at the two girls standing were she once sat on the Tendo Entrance gate. The first girl was about her height she had waist-length purple hair with a fringe and two strands hanging in front secured with ties. She was wearing a combat outfit of a light colored pink long sleeved blouse and pants (fushia) with the addition of a dark breastplate and pair of metal arm-guards.

The next girl had long brown hair that was secured back with a white bow. She was wearing a short sleeved blouse with the sleeves tied back it was blue with white trim and form-fitting back pants. She also wore bandolier holding several smaller spatulas with a giant combat spatula across her back.

Mai blinked up at them and got into a stance tearing her twin swords at each of her sides slicing off her hair band allowing her hair escape and flow down her back.

Ukyo blinked as realization finally hit her. "Oh well if it isn't Mai ain't you the looker."

Mia faltered a bit and looked back over to Ukyo a bit closer smiling. She attached her blades to her back, as she jumped onto Ranma making him fall. She leaned her crossed arms on his head. "Hey U-chan long time no see."

She growled at her," Don't call me U-chan."

Mai smiled ignoring her and turned over to the Chinese girl and her eyes immediately narrowed. " No need for introductions her, right Shampoo."

Shampoo nodded angrily a smirk on her face and nodded," Mai, you is obstacle."

Akane blinked," Mai you know them?"

She nodded," What can I say small world?"

Now everyone ganged around Ranma, Akane, and Mai shouting and glaring at Ranma.

Ranma shouted over at them," Now what did I do?"

Ryoga, Kodachi, Kuno, Shampoo and Ukyo all started to shout at him at the same time.

This only annoyed Ranma even more; he clenched his hands into fists. "ONE AT A TIME!"

They all spoke in unison," HOW DARE YOU, HAVE ANOTHER FIANCE!"

Ranma looked truly confuse," Hey, I didn't plan any of this alright I'm only one guy."

" Yeah the guy who's gonna die, AAAAAHHH!" Ryoga shouted as he went into a run toward Ranma but was blocked by a kendo stick. He fallowed up the kendo sword the owner to whom so happened to be Kuno.

"Hold I say."

Ryoga glared up at Kuno," Do you mind?"

"Step aside and allow me to defeat this swine."

" Hey you, I got here first I'm going to beat him."

"Oh no you're not I am."

"I am."

Ranma looked over at the fighting two and rolled his eyes walking away from the two idiots.

"I'm out of here." He said as he walked away.

But before he can walk into the residence he came face to face with Kodachi who was looking up at him bashfully. " Ranma darling is it because I've neglected my womanly duties to you isn't it my love?"

Ranma looked taken back," Hm?"

Kodachi continued to bat her lashes up at Ranma. Mai and Akane shared a look they rolled their eyes. " Let's not wait any longer my love marry me and I shall be yours every night of my life."

"Why would Ranma have a girl like you to try to satisfy him while he has a woman like me to do it for him." Mai said seductively as she stood in front of Ranma, looking up at Kodachi who only glared at her.

"I mean you're built like a brick," She said looking at Kodachi. "Your legs are too thick," Mai continued as she looked at Ukyo teasingly. "And you talk like a hick," She finished glancing over at Shampoo.

All girls glared and seethed over the tiny petite girl in front of them her arms crossed under her chest.

"Mai we fight."

"It's hardly fair." Mai smirked," Seeing as you three need more man power to win."

Ukyo," Oh you think you can beat us, fat chance."

Mai turned over to Ranma and Akane, "Count please."

Akane nodded and looked in aw as Mai single handedly beat each girl with her twin blades. " 66 seconds."

Mai nodded happily and walked into the residence.

Ranma just rolled his eyes," Oh right whatever." He turned to walk off only to come face to face with Akane.

"I noticed you didn't work out tonight Ranma."

"Sorry next time I'll bring you a note." And with that he walked right by her.

"Hey Mai wait up lets spare, I know I'll be able to beat you this time."

Akane only fumed more and screamed at his side," I'm talking here."

Kodachi stood up with her clothes slightly tattered and dirty as she looked over at Akane," It isn't as the poor thing can help himself. It's all the fault of that Mai creature."

Akane was confused again," What?"

Ukyo nodded and dusted off her tights," You don't think she'll be content being just friends do you?"

Akane thought to herself. 'First Shampoo and Ukyo now Kodachi is serious.'

"Hiya all this stop when Ranma choose Shampoo." Shampoo stated smirking.

Akane only rolled her eyes." As if."

Kodachi turned and glared at Shampoo," Don't be so sure once Ranma has sampled my womanly arts."

"Huh," she scoffed," You make it sound like a contest."

Kodachi cackles her hand covering her mouth," Exactly, that is of course if you think you can win."

Akane scowled and got in Kodachi's face," You just watch me. Not that I have anything to prove I mean who wants to compete for a jerk like Ranma anyways."

Shampoo giggled," That fine you scared Akane. You no compete cause you no win Ranma when it come to cooking."

Ukyo nodded," Sorry honey but this is one thing you shouldn't get yourself into."

Akane growled at them, "OH yeah just you watch."

Kuno and Ryoga were still fighting in the back ground.

Kuno growled," Step aside fool."

"You step aside," Ryoga shouted at him.

"Ranma's my victim."

"No he's not."

"Yes he is."

Akane, Kodachi, Ukyo, and Akane all stand on the auditorium stage with their own little cook space for each of them and one extra. From left to right it was Kodachi, Ukyo, Shampoo, and Akane with the spare work space next to Akane.

Akane frowned down at her hands sadly. 'Why does it always have to be cooking?'

Kodachi smiled," As I was saying who ever prepares the finest full course French meal wins."

Kodachi looked over to Shampoo and Ukyo as they nodded.

Ukyo chimed in." But unless Ranma honey says yours is the best it doesn't count."

Ukyo looked over to Akane and they both nodded. They all agreed to the terms.

"You can't have a contest without me." Said a shadow standing in the door way.

Akane smiled. "Mai." Her friend is here now she wouldn't be alone with with her enemies.

Mai jumped the entire way onto the stage and looked at the four girls. She smirked," So what's the prize?"

Shampoo narrowed her eyes," Ranma is prize."

Mai scrunched her face." I can't really say that's much of a prize."

All the girls scowled at her but she met eyes with Akane who was mentally pleading her to stay and join.

Mai sighed and took the cooking space next to Akane. "Fine but when I win I'll give my winnings to Akane."

"So then the five of us are competing together. "Ukyo stated as they all fastened their aprons on.

Then out of nowhere Happosai came out rolling a gang out with him. "And I'll be the contest judge; sorry I wasn't here earlier I was involved in an earlier matter. Begin!" He kit the gong and it rang loudly signaling the begining of the battle. "Almost forgot something keep cooking girls."

Happosai was pushing Ranma forward as they walked.

Ranma glared back at the old man. "Aw man find somebody else will ya?"

"Keep walking."

"But why do I gotta do it."

Happosai rolled his giant beety eyes," You're the prize Einstein. Why do you think?"

But Ranma only continued to drag his feet and complain. "Do you know man I wish you'd leave me out of it."

Ranma sat on the only table in front of the stage boredly. He laid his arm on the table lazily resting his head in his hand, when someone slipped a bento box in front of him.

He blinked his eyes and looked up to Shampoo. "Hm?"

Shampoo smiled down at him smiling," Shampoo make Chinese style French cuisine for Ranma."

Ranma's eyes widened." Wow."

Next Kodachi placed a bento box in front of him. "It's a Kuno family recipe."

Ranma continued to blink a couple times.

"Here its okonomiyaki but I used French cooking." Ukyo said lightly as she smiled down at Ranma.

Akane smirked," Oh yeah if you want French cooking try this."

Ranma screeches lightly with fear and stares at the big white cube placed in front of him by Akane," Uh this by any chance…"

Akane smiled and nodded confidently "Yes that's right tofu."

Ranma let out a loud BLUGH throwing his arms around and falls over. Ranma climbed back up on his sit and looked down at the plate placed in front of him.

He looked up to see a smiling Mai." It's a French fusion I used French recipes while using Japanese ingredients. It's Snapper with togaroshi and wasabi, ponzu dressing, and squid and orange witlof."

She smiled and looked over to Kodachi, Ukyo, and Shampoo and smirked over at they scowled back. She then walked over to stand by Akane and say Ranma eat all the other courses they've all made.

Mai stood and began to fidget with her apron and turned to smile to Akane," Hey Akane let's go to the movies later."

Akane nodded, "Sure."

Ranma leaned back in his seat smiling as he rubbed his belly," I can't believe I ate all that."

Happosai appeared on the table," So now that you sampled the cooking of these five lovely ladies vender a verdict. Who will be the one victorious?"

Kodachi pushed herself to the front and batted her eyes at Ranma," Ranma darling who's tasted the best?"

Ranma scratched his cheek as he thought to himself,' I can't get over it I ate Akane's cooking and I'm still alive to talk about it. Maybe it's because it was mixed with what everyone else made.'

Akane snapped at him," Well Ranma are you going to decide or what?"

"Shampoo best for sure." She smirked to herself.

Mai rolled her eyes.

"Ranma honey just tell them mine was the best."

Kodachi cackled with her hand gracefully covering her mouth," Ranma darling, why don't you just come out and say it. Why everyone knows when it comes to French Cuisine misère Kuno has no rival."

Mai grumbled," Yeah but it doesn't change how tasteless you are."

Kodachi huffed and reeled around to glare at Mai who now choose to stick her tongue out at her.

Ranma still couldn't believe that he ate Akane's cooking. He ruffled his hand in his hair,' How could've I eaten Akane's cooking and stood alive. All the other times I've gotten sick.'

Happosai turned to look at Ranma annoyed," Well then Ranma."

All the girls spoke in unison," Ranma."

Ranma snapped out of his thoughts," I …ugh."

All the girls being as impatient as they were slammed their hands onto the table in unison," Ranma."

Then suddenly the door slammed open as a crowd of guys ran in and began to pummel Ranma.

"You let Mai cook for you?"

"Unforgiveable."

"Urgh… o ow… ow… ow guys I'm not kidding ow." Ranma cried out from the center of the crowd.

Ranma now sat on the floor brooding in pain," Aw why me?"

Akane was now concerned," Are you hurt?"

Shampoo shoved passed her," Ranma is you okay?"

Kodachi kneeled in front of him," Darling allow me to nurse you back to health." As she passed Ukyo she shoved her.

"Quit shoving," Ukyo scowled at Kodachi.

"Evil temptress."

"Spoil rotten."

"Oh yeah."

Mai rolled her eyes," These girls need to find a life."

Ranma, Akane, and Mai walked together alongside each other.

Akane spoke to Ranma slyly," Oh just admit it my cooking was the best wasn't it."

"Uh man I already told you it all got mixed up so I couldn't tell who's was who's."

Akane scowled," Don't be a liar why don't you just be a man and tell the truth."

Ranma scowled back," I am telling the truth. Why won't you believe me?" He turned his glare over at Mai," What are you laughing about?"

Mai looked at the two and giggled,'They sure are cute together.' "Oh nothing, just that I know I was the winner and you're only trying to sooth Akane from biting your head off."

Akane protested," Hey."

While Ranma rolled his eyes and sniffed the air," Hey something smells good."

"Honestly Ranma didn't you just eat." Akane stated dead panned.

Ranma, Akane, and Mai a passed under a shop sign that read Ukyo's Okonomiyaki. 'Huh will Ukyo was training under her father,' Mai thought.

Ukyo looked up at them and smiled as they entered her shop," Come in."

Mai smiled at Ukyo;" Hey Ukyo I didn't know you had your own shop."

She smiled," Yup."

The three took a sit with Ranma in the middle.

Mai only nodded," Makes sense your okonomiyaki was always the best even when we were kids."

Ukyo smiled," You remember that?"

Mai nodded smiling.

"Enough with all you yacking, "Ranma said as he looked over to Mai then looked hopefully Ukyo," Do you have one with squid?"

Ukyo nodded as she began to fry the mix," Sure do sugar."

"We'll have a combination." Akane said regarding Mai and herself.

Mai nodded," To go."

Ranma looked at the two," Ain't we rich."

Mai smiled," You're paying. Akane and I have to go we have plans."

Ranma dead panned onto the ground.
