Chatper 4: Chunin Exams prt 1
Yo, I'm back with a wonderful new chapter of Kyuubi Spirit. Again, do not leave any rude comments. Please tell me nicely what i did wrong and I will fix it.
SK: Well time to work out the kinks with Keta.
Naruto: About time, how long do I have to wait on your lazy ss.
SK: Be careful I'll have Hinata paralyze you.
Naruto: You wouldn't dare!
SK: try me. So Kits, could you do the disclaimer.
Kits: Of course, Sparda-kun2555 does not own anything but his own OCs.
Last time on Kyuubi Spirit:
Anko looked down at Naruto, seeing her future husband. She remembers all the times that she had to save him from everybody.
Anko swiftly grabbed him, pulled up her mask and kissed him. Naruto's eyes went from a crimson red back to a cereulan blue. He then fell limp into Anko's arms. Seeing that Naruto was asleep, she laid him on his bed and did a quick jutsu to make sure that he would never be harmed again in his home. Then she left, after kissing him once more on the lips.
"Naruto, how do you know about the exams." Sarutobi asked him.
"Well, some Suna shinobi tried to attack me and some friends." Naruto told him, "So, where do I sign up."
Back to Kyuubi Spirit
Naruto sprinted down the road toward Team 7's meeting area, Kits was snuggled in his jacket so that she could have extra beauty sleep. Keta, strapped to his back was clanging slightly.
"Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. On the one day that I want to get up early I overslept by four hours. Kakashi-sensie is going to kill me, or worse tell Master Gia." Naruto said to himself as he ran faster trying to get away from the image of Gia and his turtle partner making him lug a 5 ton pound rock up the side of a mountain.
He sighed in reilef when he got to the bridge, Kakashi was not there yet. Sakura was trying to Sasuke to go on a date with her. Fukushū-sha was laying in a tree keeping away from Seishin-ryoku, who was pestering him to play with her. (Not that way, Hentias. Geez)
"Naruto, your late!" Sakura yelled, hitting him on the head making him fly into the water and wake a grumpy Kits up.
After shaking the water out of both their clothes/fur Naruto and Kits explained that they were getting ready.
"Getting ready? Ready for what?" Sakura asked him.
"I do beileve he is talking about the Chunin Exams." A voice told her. Everyone looked around until they saw Kakashi and Raitoningu up on top of the bridge.
"Your late, Kakashi-sensie!" an angry Sakura and Seishin-ryoku yelled/growled.
"Sorry, I had to go see my grandmother. Anyways, I need you to fill these out." He told them, throwing three cards to the genin. "I think that you can actually make it to the finals, with the strength (taking a look at Naruto), and smarts (looks at Sakura), and moodiness ( looks at Saskue). You have one week to train and get together equipment to help you. I suggest you guys get started." With that he left them.
"Well I'll see you guys in a week, I have to go find Zabuza-sensie. Don't hurt yourself." Naruto yelled as he ran off.
But as F*&$ing usual Sakura and Sasuke were off in lala land.
Time Skip : One Week
Naruto, slowly got up out of bed and made sure that his new outfit was in perfect condition. It was a present from Haku, Hinata, and Kits. The jacket was a light cloth that when folded onto itself it could camoflauge the owner and even keep Nin-dogs away, under this he had another zip-up vest with pockets (imagine a chunin vest but it's black), the pants were made from the same material as the jacket except they had shin-gaurds on them it also had acess for his tails, and finally he added a mask that was half purple half red. He carried Keta, in it's katana form underneath his jacket. (Over-all a bad- ss outfit made by yours truly)
Kits looked up from her sleep and chnged to her human form. "So, are we ready for the Chunin exams. Naruto-kun?"
"Yeah, we just have to worry about teme and billboard slowing us down, with there two wanna-be dōbutsu. Anyways, let's move out." Putting Kits into his vest, she poked her fox head out of the zipper. Naruto then activated a henge to disguse his tails and ears. The only thing that was left was his more pronouced whiskers, teeth, and red eyes.
With everything being taken care of, he left the Namikaze estate and jumped on the rooftops towards the academy were Team 7 planned to meet up at. Along the way he stopped at Ichiraku's and grabbed two of their breakfast ramens.
Finally making it to the Academy, Naruto spotted Sasuke and Sakura along with their dōbutsu, at the gates. Sakura now was wearing a pink karate pants, with brown gloves and a pink t-shirt, with a light red jacket. Saskue had on a black over-coat, underthat he had on a black t-shirt with the Uchiha fan on the front, gloves that ended at his elbows and black shinobi pants.
"Yo dobe, your almost late. Let's move." Sasuke told him, as he turned to head to the Academy.
As they entered the Academy they saw a big pile-up in front of the doors, two Shinobi were in front of the door leading to the exam.
"Pleaze let us in, we have to take the Chunin exams." one of the kids to the two guards.
"Yea right, as if any of you could make it to Chunin. These exams are to hard for you whimps." one of the guards told him, and roughly pushed the kid back into the crowd.
Naruto seeing that it was a genjutsu, walked past making sure not to bring any attention to himself. All the while thinking to himself "Be quiet Sasuke, Be quiet Sasuke." Alas Kami is not so dear...
"Hey, drop the genjutsu. We're on the first floor, the exams are up on the third. Geez, what a bunch of losers." Sasuke exclaimed, again showing his selfish arrogant side.
"Sasuke, you idiot. We could have a lot less competition if you had kept your big mouth shut!" Naruto yelled at him.
While Naruto started to chew Sasuke out, a person claded in a green bodysuit jumped on his back.
"It has been along time since I have seen you my rival, we must spar again. Oh, I am truly sorry. I will get off." As Rock Lee saw Naruto start turning blue.
"It's.. good... to... see you to Lee. How is Master Gai?" Naruto asked.
"The power of youth still flows through our master, Naruto. Oh, you must meet my team-mates." Rock Lee exclaimed, pulling a girl with two buns on top of her head with a panda holding onto her arm and a guy who had his hair put into a ponytail with a red-tail hawk on his shoulder. "These are my team-mates. Tenten, the wonderful beauty that is my sparing partner and my ultimate rival, after you Naruto, Neji Hyuuga. And their dōbutsu Kēji seishin (caged spirit, Neji's) and Yawarakai me (Soft eyes, Tenten's) mine is here also." A turtle the size of a cat walked up beside Rock Lee. " His name is Tsuyoi kosei (Strong character)."
Naruto stuck out his hand to recieve a handshake from both Neji and then Tenten. "Wow Tenten, you have really soft hands. Even though there is a little bit of scarring from what looks like to be weapon practice. Neji is slightly rougher with splinter scars on his hand, telling me that he trains harder and is a close combat type of person. I expected nothing less from Lee's team-mates."
Tenten started blushing as Naruto described her hands to the group, she quickly hid her blush when she saw everyone looking at her. "That's a beautiful sword you have there Naruto, may I see it. Our teams can go up to the third floor together."
Naruto unsheathed Keta, allowing Tenten to hold the katana. Tenten examined the blade as their teams walked up the stairs. With Naruto and Tenten following behind.
"So, Ten-chan. Do you like Keta?" Naruto asked her.
"It's so light, and yet strong at the same time. If you could come by the shop after the exams are over, I bet my father would love to see what makes it special. Okay, Naruto-kun." Tenten told him. Handing him back Keta.
"You bet I will, I need to stock-up anyways. This is the last of my supplies." Naruto told her as they entered the exma room.
A sudden burst of KI was sent towards the group, making almost everyone shiver. Naruto, just looked back and sent an even bigger wave of KI towards the people. After a few seconds you could smell some piss as several people headed out to the bathroom to change.
Naruto spotted the Suna shinobi, along with a few Iwa shinobi (Killer Bees team), and a few from Oto.
Back in the Jonin lounge
"So, Kakashi. How do you think your team will fair. I had to keep my team out for a full year to get them this ready." Gia asked his rival as he polished his dōbutsu's shell.
"I think they are ready, and Naruto just got major Glomped by his girlfriend." replied the one eyed shinobi as he petted Raitoningu and red from his little orange book.
(Okay, back to naruto)
"Hinata, I think your squeezing the life out of him." Kiba half laughed/barked. Akamaru, made a gentle wolf/dog laugh as well.
Hinata had glomped Naruto so quickly that he hadn't had time to make sure he had breathing room. So he was turning blue pretty quick.
"Oh, Naruto. I'm so sorry, I just haven't seen you in a long time. I hoped that I didn't kill Kits." Hinata exclaimed.
"No, hinata. You didn't kill me, only crushed my partner." Kits told her from a top Naruto's head.
Nagar, landed gently on Hinata's shoulder. "I hope milady, hasn't hurt you that much Naruto-san."
"No, Nagar. I'm fine. Looks like the gang is all here." Naruto said, seeing Shika-Ino-Cho trio walk up and Shino remove his hood.
Right then a Leaf ninja showed up, pushing his glasses up. "You guys should be a little more quiet, if you want to live. My name is Kabuto, I've been to the Chunin exams 6 times, so I have info on everyone here."
"Really, then I need the information on Garra of the Sand, Rock Lee of the Leaf, Naruto Uzumaki of the Leaf." Sasuke informed Kabuto.
"You know their names, now that's not any fun. Okay, first off is Garra of the sand (just making up stuff here don't dog me.) skills and techniques unknown. He's been on 12 D rank missions, 20 C rank missions, 5 B rank missions, and 2 A rank missions. And he never has had a scratch after any mission. Next is Rock Lee, Tiajutsu out of the roof. Ninjutsu, and genjutsu almost nonexistent, completed 109 D rank missions, and 25 C rank missions." kabuto informed Sasuke
Kabuto, picked up a card and started to read. Before he could get a single word out, Kits jumped up and started munching on the card.
"Oh, I hope you didn't need that." Naruto told Kabuto, with a serious look on his face. Kabuto narrowed his eyes to a deadly stare
"lets show how wrong his research is, shall we?" Mummy-like person of the Oto nins asked his team. They rushed through the crowd towards kabuto, who was pushed out of the way by Naruto.
The mummy man, froze when he saw that Keta was pointed straight at his face. "I'll get you, you little leaf shinobi." the mummy told Naruto.
Suddenly there was a loud explosion at the the front of the room. "Alright you Maggots, find a seat and stop fighting. Or I will personally interrigate everyone of you."
Everyone quickly took a seat. Seeing a giant of a man with two scars on his face, and a giant Great Dane with a surgery tape all over it's body. "Okay, my name is Ibiki Morino. I am your proctor for your first exam. You have 5 mistakes before you are thrown out. after an hour I will give you the final question. This question tells if you go onto the next exam or fail. Begin!"
One Hour later
An hour after the exam had begun, atleast half or two-thirds of the genins had been disqualified.
Ibiki looked at his watch then spoke up. "All right you maggots! It's time for the final question. I'll tell you, it only gets harder from here, this is what you have to put up with if you make it to Chunin." Ibiki told them while removing his bandana. His head was covered with scars and burns so much that he had no hair growing on his head. "Cuz if you want to be a Chunin, you have to put your entire being into it. Not just your body or team-mates. If you choose not to continue you are disqualified." About 15 people left with there teams.
Ibiki looked around the room. "Are you sure?" Taking one last look around to see sure faces. Ibiki smiled, "You all pass! The true purpose of this test was to weed out the rookies that couldn't collect intel. The final question was to see if you had enough courage to go on with the exams even though you have seen what happens to you if your caught and tortured..."
Ibiki didn't get to say anything else, as a giant ball came crashing through the window. The ball unfurled with two kunias sticking out of the ceiling and two kunias in the floor.
"Hello, I'm the next proctor Anko Mitarashi. And this love-able little demon is Zabuza my aid. What the hell Ibiki, you've gotten soft." Anko exclaimed to the group of Genin seeing as there was 76, as Zabuza pointed at Naruto. Naruto jumped to bring Keta out and slice of Zabuza's head, but Zabuza slammed his sword against Keta, stopping it in mid-track.
"You missed, Gaki!" Zabuza told Naruto.
"No, I hit you." Naruto replied gently, tapping a kunia to Zabuza's stomach.
Ibiki pulled on of the sides down on the cloth. "Anko, your early, again. And it looks like we have a better crop this year." Ibiki told Anko.
"Okay, I'll cut that number down to half by end of the day. And you two boys stop fighting over me." Anko told Naruto and Zabuza. "Zabuza, how many times have I told you. Not to carve up my man!" Anko yelled at him.
With that Anko, grabbed Naruto and smashed her lips to his, making Hinata and Kits jealous. After Anko, let Naruto come up for air. Hinata and Kits rushed down there to give the woman a piece of their mind, but Anko had already jumped out the window.
"Meet me and Demon-boy at Training Grounds 44, and do it on the double!" Anko yelled as she flew out the window with Zabuza hot on her tail.
After everyone had left to go to TG 44, Ibiki was collecting tests. He picked one up that was completely blank except for the name, Naruto Uzumaki. Ibiki flipped the paper over and read a note that Naruto had left.
Yo, Ibiki.
Okay two things, first don't ever show me your head again that was just so nasty, and you owe me 50000 yen from poker night. the second thing is a leaf ninja called kabuto, something smells snakey with him. he has to much info on everyone here. And if you check him out I'll cut your debt to three/fourths the amount you owe me.

Naruto and Kits
Ibiki smiled as he knew naruto would always beat him at poker, but this did raise a question as to who this Kabuto person was. Ibiki's Great Dane looked at him, and then asked. "Well, what do we do now?"
"We do some research and inform the Hokage, about this. Naruto is one of our best when it comes to getting answers." Ibiki answered, looking out at the sunset. "And may kami have mercy on him during the next two exams."
Anko was sitting happily eating some of her favorite dango, watching the Genin show up a few at a time. "Why are you behind me love?" she asked while Naruto standing behind her had shown up just moments after she did.
"Just scoping out the competition, I smelled something. I can't pinpoint the smell, plus did you really have to make the next exam in my favorite TG? People might find out about my traps that I set." Naruto replied to his purple hair future-bride.
"You mean those that I had Zabuza disarm?" Anko pointed behind her.
Naruto looked back behind the shed to see a burnt, maimed, sinbon stuck Zabuza who was trying to sit up. Naruto couldn't do anything but start laughing his ass off. Kits stuck her head out of his jacket to look at Zabuza.
"Gaki, I hate you so much right now. If you weren't dating my daughter, I would have killed you a long time ago." The injured ninja told Naruto.
"I'm sorry Zabuza-sensie, I had them set up for Anko. It's a game we play, she sets traps for me. i set traps for her. I didn't know that she would have you disarm them all. Did you get all the mines?" Naruto asked.
"No, we have to keep you genins on your toes." Zabuza told him.
"Good, I have an idea. It's going to be an awesome show." Naruto told the jonins with a huge smile.
Anko's lizard crawled out onto the dango plate, grabbing the last one off of it before her mistress saw her. Looking at Naruto, it laughed at the idea he might have for the genins.
Naruto returned to his team as they finally arrived, Sasuke and Sakura were tired from hiking all the way from the exam building. Lee, ten-ten, and neji looked slightly bored. The sand siblings were off to the side avoiding attention. The team from oto were sitting on a couple of boulders wondering why they were there in the first place. The Iwa team were analyzing the other teams. The rest of the teams were scattered around talking or whatever. (I mean who cares about the NCs, my other have slams a rubber sledgehammer into my head. 'They may be important!' No they are not)
"Okay, gakis! This is Training Ground 44, you will have 5 days to reach the tower in the middle of the forest. It's an all out battle once you go past this gate. You will be given a scroll, one is heaven, the other scroll is earth. You have to have both to pass through to the next exam." Anko told the gathered genin.
Without a warning, she threw a kunia at Naruto. As the kunia passed by him, he moved slightly so that it scratched his cheek. He started to pull out Keta as Anko showed up behind him, licking the bleeding cheek.
"Easy stud, don't show your cards all at once. I got a request for you, when you get to the tower come up to the top of it. I have something to show you." Anko whispered in his ear.
As she was getting done talking to Naruto, a Kuna nin walked up behind her. "I beileve this is your's proctor-san." she told Anko as she held the kunia out with her tounge. (EWWWWW, that's just fucking gross.) Anko was thinking the same thing as she gingerly to the kunia from the nin.
"Most people can't get behind me without me noticing. Thank you for returning it to me." Anko replied with a strained smile, hiding how pissed she was. She then threw the kunia to zabuza, who caught it in his foot. (Really, hitting an already injured guy in the foot with a sharp pointy thing.)
She went back to the shed. "Okay, one team at a time come and get your scroll. After that go to one of the gates and wait for the start. If you start early you will be out, if you try to steal a scroll before the start you will be out, if you open the scrolls you will be out. Okay, come and get them."
Team 7 went into the flaps outside the shed, Sasuke took the scroll and placed it inside his jacket. As they exited the Oto nins stopped in front of them. The mummy and spiky haired sneared as they went to go obtain their scroll. The female, looked slightly scared as she followed behind them.
'Kits, did you sense what was going on with the Otos.' Naruto asked his partner.
'Yes, I did Naruto. If we ever face them, they might be harder than some of the other teams. We just need to whittle them down. You got a plan?' Kits asked her partner.
'Yeah, we need to get the girl alone first though. She may break faster than the others.' Naruto told her.
As the last of the genins got to the gates, Anko made final preperations to the exam. Seeing that all of them were at the starting positions, she threw up a kunia. When it reached it's peak it exploded making 3/4th of the genin jump. The gates slammed open as the exam started.
Team 7 ran full force into the TG, rushing towards the center. About 30 mins in the stopped to take a break.
"Guys, we need to get to the tower fast. If we don't we might not make it until the end of the exam." Naruto explained to his teammates.
"dobe, we have 5 days to get to the tower. half of those teams probably won't make it." Sasuke retored.
"Still, I would rather have a nice bed and a good meal. Than be out here in the cold and wet forest. Teme." Naruto replied to his asshole teammate.
"It won't matter if we don't get the other scroll." Sakura brought up.
"don't worry about that, i'll have a scroll for us in no time." Naruto told the banshee. he turned off his henge letting his tails and ears become exposed.
"We need to know when it's you, that comes back. So we need to come up with a code. Sakura and I will stay here while you go get the scroll." Sasuke told him.
"I got it, *Whisper, whisper*. Okay, red light green light will be the code." Naruto told his teammates.
All four of his teammates nodded. With that Naruto ran off to find do some damage to the other genins.
"finally, away from that cheating eye gay duck-butt and the forehead shrieking pinkie." naruto told Kits as they ran.
"Yeah, but we better be on guard and hurry. we don't know where any of the teams are. we have trained here for months and still we don't know the entire area of it. Plus with all the animals and vegetation around here. It's constantly turning. Luckly for us you slipped the scroll out of sasuke's jacket." Kits replied with a smile.
"yep, they won't know it's a fake until they take a real good look at it. i love doing pranks." Naruto told her smiling.
As they rushed, Naruto locked onto the scent of the Oto female that they had passed. they seemed to be a few hundred feet in front of them. Naruto and Kits slowed down, watching for traps, wild animals, and the dangerous plants. finally the were able to see the Oto nins in a small clearing, seeing that the two males were talking to each other.
"Why do we have to play games, I just want to f$%#ing get this over with. Oto is strong enough without going through the motions of playing ninja." Zaku told Dosu.
"We have to do what we are ordered Zaku. Otherwise the plan will fail." Dosu replied.
Naruto nodded to Kits, who jumped out of the bushes and ran up to the Oto nins. She looked up and promtly pissed on Dosu foot.
"fucking fox, I kill you for peeing on me. You bitch. Kin, stay with the scroll." Dosu told the female Oto nin. He and Zaku rushed off to try and kill Kits, but alas after a merry chase around the woods they had to give up.
As the two stupid Oto nins ran off, Naruto made several shadow clones to keep look out as he advanced toward Kin
"Who's there! I will kill you!" Kin yelled at Naruto. As he appeared she pulled out a senbon.
Naruto, gently sat down in front of her. "I want to know what is going on. The truth or I will force it from you. I know you don't want to fight. We don't have much time, your teammates will be back."
Kin lowered her senbon, seeing that he had no approach in attacking her. Kin looked down at Naruto. "What will I get if I help you? Will you help me, I don't want to do this anymore. I only got picked cuz of my partner." As Kin explained a black cat crawled out of her sleeve.
"I'll do my best to esure the safety of you and your partner as long as you help me. We only have minutes left until your comrades come back. I need to know everything, It'll be quick and painless." Naruto told her "I need you to look into my eyes."
Kin looked at Naruto, seeing his caring face. She's only been surrounded by evil men, her best friend was turned against her at an early age. She was all alone, she had no one to care for her. As she looked into Naruto's eyes, they changed from blue to red. The pupil seemed to swallow her up as she gazed into the eyes.
Naruto started extracting her memories sifting and sorting them quickly, he finally found the plan to destroy the leaf. He placed some better memories into her as the effect started ending. As he changed back to his henged form, he caught Kin as she fell from the side-effects of being pulled in.
Naruto stroked Kin's cheek as she roused herself. Looking up at him, she had tears in her eyes. Smiling Naruto gave her a slip of paper for the best route to the tower, so that she and her horrible teammates could get there without much resistance.
"Thank you for your help Kin, I'll make sure the Oto pay for what they did to you." Naruto promised her.
"Thank you. I'll see you soon Naruto." Kin replied.
Kits came bounding into the clearing as Naruto was finishing with Kin, nodding to him. Naruto nodded back. Smiling gently at Kin, Naruto jumped into the trees and vanished from the area.
Naruto rushed back to his team, when he got with in seeing distance a giant wind gust through. Tearing up trees and throwing Sasuke and Sakura up into the trees. Seishin-ryoku and Fukushū-sha sank their claws into the ground, to keep from getting blown away. Naruto and Kits both rushed into the wind. "Wind Breaking Barrier!" Naruto yelled, spinning his body so the tails could send a shockwave at the gust.
"Hehehehe, I thought I would take the Uchia. Now I want you also boy." a sickly creepy voice creeped out from behind a tree.
"Orochimaru, you won't get anything from either of us." Naruto told the snake.
"I always get what I want. But first to save me trouble from you." Orochimaru said as he leapt forward trying to strike Naruto and knocking Kits into a tree as she jumped at him.
Naruto pulled Keta out, slicing through Orochimaru. Only to see him turn to mud.
"You missed gaki, to bad for you." Orochimaru said from behind him. He then sunk his fangs into Naruto. Naruto started screaming before he fell limp from the seal being set into his neck.
Sasuke and Fukushū-sha rushed toward the snake as he released Naruto. Sasuke engaged the bastard with his family's tiajutsu, while Fukushū-sha helped where he could firing off the odd fireball when there was an opening. Sakura and Seishin-ryoku rushed over to Naruto making sure he was okay.
"I'll destroy you for hurting my teammate, Orochimaru." Sasuke told the bastard as he got blocked.
"I'm doing you a favor boy, did you see what he was able to do against me. Let me make you stronger than him. He'll never last, but you can live through this if you make it." the snake told Sasuke. At this Sasuke hesitated, remembering that Naruto had stopped the wind.
Sasuke's hesitation was all Orochimaru needed. he struck Sasuke's neck, leaving the Heaven's seal on him. He then turned toward Sakura, looking at the pitiful genin.
"I won't kill you, i need you to heal them. Don't disappoint me, I'll be watching." the snake said as he placed the Earth scroll on the ground by the now unconsious Sasuke.
As the snake walked away, Sakura reliased how weak she was not being able to help in the fight. She mentally slapped herself as she got her teammates under a tree with the help of Fukushū-sha and Seishin-ryoku. Sakura carried Kits, who had turned into a fox when she slammed into the tree.
A pair of eyes watched all of this unfold, without blinking the ringed eyes faded into the woods. Knowing the rest of the group had to see what befalled here.
As the two teammates rested, Naruto was breaking into a fever. Outside he looked fine, inside was a completely different story.
*Mental Landscape*
Naruto looked up to see, Kits was fighting with a wyvern shaped black mass. It seemed to be making Kits become smaller and smaller by the minute. Naruto rushed forward, trying to get to her. Only to find himself being sucked into an inky pool around his feet.
"I'll have the power you contain, Nine-tail holder. I'll take control of the Kyuubi, then i shall have you. You can not stop me." the mass told him.
"We'll see about that." Naruto replied. Slamming his hand into the ground, he forced the black mass back into a corner of the room. he pulled out Keta, biting his thumb, he spread his blood down the blade changing it into it's true form.
"No, it can't be. Keta, the seal remover. I will take over, I will not be stopped." the black mass spoke. slowly it changed into a form of Naruto. "You may get rid of my body but look at your mind, it's already destroyed. You'll never be able to get rid of that." The Shadow Naruto told him.
"I will always fight, no matter the cost. May it be my mind, body, spirit. I will fight until I die" Naruto told the mass, cleaving him in half.
When the sword hit the Shadow Naruto slowly melted into the sword. Adding a small flame to the blade, shining brightly the flame broke into nothingness.
After he put his blade away he noticed that Kits was bleeding. He rushed to her side seeing that the wound was slowly healing. Crying he pulled her into his lap, cradling his lifemate.
"Please, no. Don't die. I can't lose you. I need you in my life." Naruto said through the tears.
"Don't worry my love, I'll be with you. Just weaker, that bastard broke your mind into two pieces, look." Kitsune pointed to the other side of the room.
Naruto looked at where she was pointing, he saw the wall had become written with graffiti. A man with white hair and yellow eyes looked longingly at the two. Naruto gently placed Kits on the ground and walked to the man.
"Who are you. Why are you in my mindscape." Naruto threw at him.
"To whom I am, I'm Max. Keta's truest form. To why i am here, to protect your mind from becoming tainted with that snake bastard's seal. You see, your mother and father asked me to protect you from all things that could break you mentally. I can only do so much, but enough of me. you need to wake up, your friends are in trouble." Max told him, he then slammed his fist into Naruto's gut.
*Outside world*
Naruto woke to an explosion, he rushed out of the roots to see Sasuke had flames running up his face. Sasuke had Kin by the throat, squeezing the life from her. Kuza and the Dosu were thrown away. Kuza had broken arms and the mummy was bleeding from his head.
Smirking, Sasuke held Kin up. "Oto bitch, you have two choices. Either join me and live, or die like the piece of trash you are."
Kin struggled against the crushing grip as she reliazed that Sasuke was telling the truth. Kin saw her life slowly slip away, then a rush of life-reviving air filled her lungs as Sasuke was thrown from her. Kin looked up to see Naruto with all five of his tails fanned out behind him, blocking Sasuke from her.
"Naruto, how dare you stand in my way to power. I will not have you take it from me. I will be more powerful than you. When I am, I will crush you and kill you to have the ultimate power. I will take your spirit, and you won't be able to stop me." Sasuke told him in a sinister voice.
"Sasuke, this isn't you. Not the true you, I will not lose you to this curse we both have." Naruto told him.
Sasuke smirked, he rushed at Naruto. Naruto put up his guard, only to be slammed down into the ground.
"This is the true me, Naruto. Now it's time to die." Sasuke replied to him. He raised his foot to crush Naruto's skull in.
Naruto caught Sasuke's foot, spinning him away from the wounded ninjas. Panting, Naruto got to one knee. Slowly he pulled out Keta, 'Max, if your there. I need your strength to save my friend. I may hate him, but he is still my friend.'
'Hmm, All you had to do was ask Naruto. I'll help your friend, but be warned I can't change his mind. Only help heal the damage.' Max replied.
Naruto rushed forward towards Sasuke. Sasuke stumbled as he was recovering from the attack against his teammate. Naruto swung Keta, hitting Sasuke square on the curse mark. When Keta hit the curse mark, a gold light seeped into the skin wrapping itself around the mark. Naruto jumped back as Sasuke retailiated. Then he grabbed his shoulder, screaming he fell to his knees. Sasuke looked at Naruto with hatred as the sharigan spun into to three tomes. Then he slipped into unconsiousness.
Sakura who had been frozen by the entire event rushed and caught Sasuke before he could faceplant the ground. (Booo!) Looking up at Naruto, she saw him differnetly than before. He had an arua of white and gold around him.
Naruto slide Keta back into the seathe. Turning, he saw the damage that was done while he was in his Mindscape. Fukushū-sha and Seishin-ryoku were both thrown to the edge of the clearing, Zuka and Dosu were still laying where they had landed. Kin was shaking so hard from the ordel that had just taken place. Kits was still unconsious under the tree.
Naruto walked over to Kin. Kneeling down, he looked into her eyes.
"Kin, you have seen my secret. As I have seen in your memories, you are hurt and longing for others to help you. Though you don't want charity. I offer you a choice, you can come with us and live or stay with the Oto and be forsaken to death that is at the hands or Orochimaru. I can show you how to live, not just be." Naruto told the frightened ninja. Slowly he held out his hand.
Kin, seeing the careness in his eyes and the truth in his voice, gently took his hand.
"Okay." Naruto turned to Sakura "How long have we been out?"
"Maybe a day, we need to get to the tower. Sasuke is beyond my healing abilites." Sakura reported.
"Kin, I need you to carry Kits. Fukushū-sha, can you carry Sasuke?" Naruto asked the panther. The panther nodded, "I can carry him, he's my partner after all."
"Sakura, leave some medical supplies with the Oto nins. We aren't animals. After that we'll leave, we have to hurry." Naruto told his pink-haired teammate.
*30 mins later*
The group land on the tower, quickly opening both of the scrolls they explained what happened to the chunnin that appeared. Sasuke was rushed to the medical wing, Sakura helped Kin to the room that was given to the team. As soon as both females layed on one of the bed, they passed out from sheer exhaustion.
Naruto, with a finally awoken Kits, went to the top of the tower. Seeing a giant door that said KEEP OUT OR BE SLOWLY TORTURED, Naruto sweatdropped. 'Really Anko, I thought you were able to control yourself better.' Naruto knocked on the door.
A very tired Anko answered the door, she was only wearing her bra and panites as she always does at night. She looked down to see a crimson Naruto and an amused Kits.
"I didn't know you were getting dressed, I'll come back!" Naruto told Anko. Turning around he was about to walk away, when he suddenly got pulled into the room.
Anko slammed him against the wall. She held a kunia against his throat.
"I stayed up two days waiting for you, and now your just going to walk way because I'm in my night clothes. No, you are going to explain why you were late. I had this big romantic date planned. I was expecting you on the first day." Anko yelled at him. "Naruto, I was so worried about you." Anko then kissed him gently on the lips.
"I'll explain what happened. First the kunia way from my throat, please. I've been through a rough three days." Naruto told her.
Anko slowly removed the kunia from his throat. As she was getting dressed Naruto explained everything to her. Orochimaru, meeting Max, fighting Saskue. He didn't leave out a detail as he poured Anko, Kits, and himself some orange juice.
"We have to tell the Hokage, if Orochimaru is planning to attack the Leaf then he needs to be prepared." Anko told him.
"I already sent a message bird to him, telling him everything. I want this secretly done, we can tell Zabuza but that's the point to which I'll tell anyone else what happened. Between me, you, and the couch, what happened to me in the forest can not be told." Naruto warned her.
"I'm glad your okay though, I'll go get the rest of the girls. They'll be wanting to see you." Anko told him. Naruto just nodded at her. As she left, Naruto opened a door to find a giant bed. He then reliazed how tired he was. When Hinata, Haku, and Anko returned to the room, they found a sleeping Naruto with ears and tails spread out over Anko's bed. Smiling, the girls laid down with him and fell into a deep sleep.

Finally! That was a long ass chapter, I stayed up late to finish that. Review please, so I know how I did. I know I told you guys a lot about changing the teams and everything. I think that I'll do that in another story. I actually put a lot of thought into what I wanted to do. As of now, Naruto has 3 girls in his harem. Tell me who you think would be the best for Naruto, as of now I will be adding Kin to the harem. What will happen in the next chapter, only I know.
