Chapter 5: One day in the tower
Hey guys, It's Sparda-kun. I hope you enjoyed the new chapters I put up. I know I might have offened some of you with what is happening. I'm sorry, I basically work, eat, and sleep. I have to take care of my dog and do other items. SO when I get around to posting a new chapter I will. Don't worry, it'll be either a week or bi-week post. If you have any ideas to add to the harem, I'm all ears (fox ears poke up.) Any ways on with the story.
SK: So many options, who do I want to fight whom?
Naruto: Let me fight someone a lil stronger than Kiba, I mean, come on.
SK: Naruto, I got the perfect person for you to fight.
Naruto: Really?
SK: Yeah, but you'll have to wait to find out. Kits, the disclaimer please.
Naruto: Nooooo!

Last time on Kyuubi Spirit...
Naruto started extracting Kin's memories sifting and sorting them quickly, he finally found the plan to destroy the leaf.
"I'll have the power you contain, Nine-tail holder. I'll take control of the Kyuubi, then i shall have you. You can not stop me." the mass told him.
"To whom I am, I'm Max. Keta's truest form."
"This is the true me, Naruto. Now it's time to die." Sasuke replied to him. He raised his foot to crush Naruto's skull in.
Naruto caught Sasuke's foot, spinning him away from the wounded ninjas. Panting, Naruto got to one knee. Slowly he pulled out Keta, 'Max, if your there. I need your strength to save my friend. I may hate him, but he is still my friend.'
The story continues...
Naruto woke up to four bodies snuggling him. He had no feeling in his entire body, looking around he sees that his four girls were snuggling all of his limbs. Anko and haku were both had an arm, while Kits and Hinata had the legs. Smiling, he made a cross symbol with his two of his tails. A shadow clone appeared and saw the situation, nodding to the main Naruto he henged himself with him.
Naruto quietly let himself out of the room, he started to wander the tower as he had never been there. Anko had kept it to heavily gaurded, with traps and giant tigers, the odd mine here or there. He eventually found the mess hall, seeing many carts had been set up for the teams everything from bbq to dango. He saw Ayame and her dad at a stand, he zipped over there and pulled out his fax wallet. (yes, I changed the wallet! Muhahahaha! *My other half hits me on the head with a newspaper "Just shut-up."*)
"Ayame, I would like 15 bowls of miso ramen and 4 bowls sent to the top of the tower. To the door that says KEEP OUT. I advise you to knock and run like hell." Naruto quickly rattled off.
"Naruto-kun, did you leave those girls with a shadow clone again!" Ayame exclaimed.
"In my defense, I was losing all blood to my limbs." Naruto told the rameness.
"Fine, but this is the last time." Ayame told the blonde.
Naruto sat down to his feast, only to see that Choji was walking in with pork-chop pjs on. Naruto who had started on his first bowl of ramen, sprayed broth out of his nose as he fell laughing. Choji looked up at Naruto with a 'I will kill you if you don't shut-up look'. (Wait, that's the look I have when I don't have coffee.)
"G'morning Naruto, I see you just got here." Choji told the blonde as he sat down with a bbq feast.
"Yeah, had a lil trouble navigating the forest. It looks like the Ino-shika-cho squad got here. I hope the Shikamaru is having a good time." Naruto replied wiping tears of laughter out of his eyes.
"He's playing shogi with Mizu ryū, they actually have been playing since they saw each other with a game board. He's really good, Shika might actually have a rival other than you at shogi." Choji explained.
"Yeah, I'll still beat him at chess every time." Naruto remarked.
Suddenly there was a giant scream from four differnet voices as Naruto's loves had all woken up to find a shadow clone.
"That's my que to run away." Naruto told the large ninja. (I will not say the "f" word.) Naruto quickly slurped his last bowl of ramen and ran for the door. He quickly found another room that was huge, it was the arena for training.
Naruto pulled out Keta and slammed him into the ground, then made 20 shadow clones.
"So who wants to fight." Naruto asked his clones, pulling Keta out of the floor. The clones coolly and slowly pulled out their Keta clones.
The first clone rushed Naruto, slamming his blade against Naruto's. Naruto pushed the clone back, only to block against another clone. Naruto slams his hand into the clone's gut, making him poof into a cloud of smoke. It kept up like this until there were only two clones and Naruto. The clones smiled, slinking forward. Knowing that if they both attacked they would have him. Naruto flashed through a dozen hand signs. "Frozen Mist!" Naruto then sucked in a huge breath and blew freezing air at the two clones. One clone slammed his hand into the ground making a mud wall appear before him, the other set his Keta on fire and slashed through the frozen breath. Naruto nodded, as he would have done the same thing. He rushed toward the mud wall, slashing through the wall and his clone. He then turned to the flame weilding clone. Only to see that it was no longer standing.
A slow clapping came from behind Naruto, turning he saw that Garaa was standing behind him.
"What is it, that you want Garaa? We can't fight without a proctor present." Naruto told him in a cold tone.
"Why is that Naruto, i will have your blood. Mother wants me to take it." Garaa told him in an equally cold tone.
"Well tell 'Mother' to come take it in the last exam. I won't fight you with out a proctor." Naruto told him. He then turned to leave only to see that a wall of sand blocking his way.
"I want to test your strength, I need to know if you can beat me." Garaa told him.
Naruto looked back at the Sand ninja, seeing that the raccoon was not on the ninja's shoulder. Naruto sighed, smiling he put keta in his sheath and placed him on the wall.
"A small tiajutsu spar will be more than enough. Three minutes to see if I can hurt you. If I can't then I'll forfit and let 'Mother' have me. Deal?" Naruto asked.
"That's fine." Garaa replied.
Naruto turned off his henge so that Garaa could see his true form. Then he rushed towards the Sand ninja, only to see the sand had changed paths. It was now blocking him in front of Garaa. He jumped back before he slammed into the wall. Again he rushed then feinted to the left to see if the sand would follow, it did. The sand acted as if it had a mind of it's own. Smiling, knowing that he could go all out, Naruto rushed into Garaa's field of defense. He pushed towards the ninja, the sand started to spin in front of Garaa. Naruto slammed through the sand, punching Garaa in the chest. Naruto then jumped back to see if he did any damage. He had, there was a what looked like a crack on the Sand ninja's front. The crack slowly filled back in with sand.
"Two minutes left, you were able to crack my Sand Armor." Garaa told Naruto in a smug tone.
Naruto nodded at Garaa, knowing he had to win. Again, Naruto rushed around Garaa. Making the sand cloud follow him. Naruto then feinted into Garaa's defense. He slammed his fist once into the armor, making it crack. Then again making it break up on the shoulder. The cloud was almost on him, when Naruto jumped back to take a breath.
"One minute left, you can do better." Garaa told him.
Naruto had only one choice, he promised Kits he wouldn't use it unless he had no other choice.
*Arthur Flashback Jutsu*
Kitsune stood infront of a panting Naruto. Smiling she put her arms down. Looking at the tired ninja, she took a little pity on him.
"Naruto, I will show you a way to break an in-breakable defense. The only problem is, it will almost push you to killing yourself. You must use it on a last resort measure. No petty fighting thugs or thiefs. It will drain you of all life, except maybe 2%. you'll end in a coma, you have to be sure you need to do it." Kitsune explained.
"Kitsune, I promise never to use it unless I have to." Naruto told the female.
Kitsune nodded and showed him the kantas of the move. In one week Naruto had the kanta down. He was slowly improving it so that it would not even have to take his lifeforce.
*End Jutsu*
Naruto clutched his fist, he looked at Garaa. ' I'm sorry Kits, I have to break that armor. ' He then started to pound his fist into the palm of his hand until his hand caught fire. He then transferred the fire between the two hands and his five tails.
"I will break through that armor of your's Garaa." Naruto told the sand nin.
Garaa noted the seriousness in his voice and bent into a basic tiajutsu stance.
"Firefox tiajutsu move step one..." Naruto said outloud as he rushed forward. The sand cloud rushed up to meet him. Naruto didn't flinch or break from his route, "...Rush!" Naruto then slammed both his hands into the cloud of sand, blasting it away.
"Firefox tiajutsu move step two..." Naruto slammed into Garaa, slamming him into the wall "...Corner!" Garaa looked up to see that he was trapped between two walls.
"Firefox tiajutsu move step three ..." Naruto jumped into the air swiping his flame clawed hands down onto the defenseless ninja "...Swipe!" With that he slashed his claws down in front of the ninja.
Garaa blinked, seeing that it had not hit him. "Did you miss on purpose?" the sand nin asked.
"I didn't miss." Naruto replied coolly as Garaa felt his sand armor start to fall.
As the armor fell off the sand nin, Naruto started to blush. With the armor gone, a young girl about fourteen stood in front of him.
"What a minute, I was fighting a woman!" Naruto yelled.
Blushing Garaa stood there quivering. "I used the sand armor to pass myself off as a boy, the only people that know about it is my father, my siblings and you. Please don't tell anyone else. I wasn't even supposed to be here, my father forced me to take that partner and come here."
"It's okay, you've seen my form." Naruto reassures the female ninja. Then the sound of the door opening made him turn. At the door was Konkuro and Temari. The rushed across the floor of the arena to their sister. Standing in front of Naruto Konkuro pulled off the package on his back, blocking Naruto from Garaa. His partner stood next to him, growling slightly. Temari was checking on Garaa.
"I didn't hurt her. I promise." Naruto told the two worried siblings. He turned and walked out of the room, as he did the raccoon slipped past him.
Naruto finally got to the top of the tower. (Say that five times fast. Suddenly Sparda's tonuge becomes tied. "Just get on with the story.") He opened the door to see four very pissed females. Fearing for his life, he started to run. Only he got caught by his tails and dragged into the room.
"Please! Help me!" Naruto yelled as he was drug.
After several beatings and many kisses later Naruto was a lump of black and blue sitting on the couch.
"You baka, you promised me you wouldn't you Firefox unless you absoultely had to." Kitsune yelled at him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't have a choice. The sand armor did flinch under my punches." Naruto explained. "Owww, can you be more gentle please Haku."
Haku was currently bandaging his hands, she pulled the wrap again so that he wouldn't backtalk to her. "You are lucky that I was here. I had finished patching up my father when Anko showed up."
Naruto smiled, remembering how Zabuza had looked when he saw him last. Imagining him as a mummy made him laugh.
Hinata was sitting on the other side of him. "you should have been more careful, you could have died. Then were would we be."
Smiling shyly Naruto replied, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done it with out telling you guys first."
"So how much lifeforce did you use Naruto?" Kitsune asked with a worried tone
"None, it only took the first three steps. You start taking lifeforce on step four. You drilled that into me." Naruto replied to the vixen.
"I'm more worried about the raccoon than the sand armor. It may be a problem." Anko stated to the group. "If it has contaminated Garaa's mind, then we need to destroy it."
"You can't, it's like me. It can only be contained. The best way is to fix Garaa." Kitsune told the purple haired jonin.
"yeah, but what would happen..." Anko started to ask. There was a large knock on the door. Anko opened the door to a nervous Kin.
"Hey bitch, the sign says keep out for a reason." Anko retored to the Oto ninja.
"I was told I could find Naruto up here." Kin told Anko in a fiery tone.
"Ohh, Naruto. I like this one. come in before more people get the idea that they can come up here by their own free will." Anko stepped aside allowing the Oto ninja to come in, then promtly shut the door.
Kin saw the beaten Naruto and pulled out her sinbon to start throwing them at Anko, only to be blocked by Haku.
"You know, for a runt. You are fast." Haku told Kin.
"The same to you." Kin replied. "I just wanted to tell Naruto that my team is here. I have to go join them so they don't think anything weird is going on."
Naruto looked up at Kin, seeing the fear in her eyes. Naruto shook his head. "As far as they know you got killed in the forest. Or drug off somewhere. You don't have to go back to them."
"I know, but think of me as your spy. I want to help stop the Oto from destoying the Leaf. When we were coming here, I saw so many happy faces and smiles. It warmed me inside when I thought all light was lost in the world. I want to protect that happiness." Kin explained. "I want, no I need to do this."
"Okay, but if it becomes to much. We will help you." Naruto told her.
"That's fine. I must hurry." Kin told him, waving as she went out the door.
"Naruto, we don't have to do anything for the next day." Hinata said as she looked over to see a a sleeping Naruto.
"Geez for five minutes I wish he stayed up." the hyuuga sighed.
"He did use Firefox. It's the best attack, the kitsune ever came up with. I think we should let him rest." Kits told everyone.
The girls gently moved Naruto onto the bed and left.
"Hey Kits, can you teach me something to make myself more confident." Hinata asked the vixen.
"Sure, lets go to one of the training rooms." Kits told Hinata. With that the group went to one of the smaller training rooms.
While they left Naruto was entering his mindscape.
* Naruto's Mindscape*
Max was standing in front of the graffiti. Looking up he saw Naruto sitting on the only dry spot in the scape.
"Naruto, what's wrong?" Max asked.
"I broke my promise to Kits." Naruto replied.
"Ah, that's bad. you better be glad she didn't skin you alive and make you dance." Max told him.
Naruto looked up at him with sunken eyes. Max wondered what he was thinking.
"Max, I need to be stronger. I was so close to using the fourth step in Firefox. If the sand armor hadn't started cracking when I used step two then I would have had to use the fourth step." Naruto explained.
"Naruto, you can only push yourself so far before you break. I know, you are willing to break even to the point where death is opening the door. You have people who need you, you touch people's lives even if they don't see it." Max told the troubled blonde. "You have to remember them even when your about to sacrifice yourself. If you did take the fourth step, then my power would have weakened slightly. I would have had to let some of the curse spread."
Naruto looked at the graffiti, the biggest words were 'Freak' and 'Loser'. His fears, they showed what he fread if the world knew his secret. That he couldn't protect his new family, the love's he had made, the friends that stood by him, the people that laughed and cared for him.
Naruto gripped his fist, looking at Max. Naruto stood up and walked to him, gripping his shoulder Naruto nodded.
"I will make myself stronger so that I don't have to forsake my family, my friends, the people in my life. This is my nindo, my ninja way. i will protect everyone, even if it means taking the biggest risk." Naruto told him.
"That's all I needed to hear, you have earned the next step to using my sword." Max told him. He slowly pulled out two smaller katanas, placing them in his hands. "Be careful Naruto, Keta has five forms. The first is the sword breaker, the second is the dual-weild. As you grow, you will have to adjust to the sword. I'm not just a piece of metal, I'm a living being. Now it's time to wake up, it's day five and your friends and enemies are here."
Naruto nodded and fell into the water. Going back to the outside world.
"If only you knew that your parents are proud of you Naruto." Max said out loud. He then turned back to the graffiti.
*Outside world*
Naruto woke up and undid the wraps on his hands. They were slightly pink, but they didn't hurt anymore. Looking up he saw Anko, Hinata, Haku, and Kitsune sleeping outside the bedroom in the main area.
"Good morning, Naruto" a voice said next to him.
Looking over he saw that Nagar was sitting next to the bed.
"Good morning, Nagar" Naruto replied.
"Lady Hinata was worried, I promised that I would watch you for her." the falcon explained.
"I shouldn't have worried her so much." Naruto to him.
"Let's wake them and get to the arena." Nagar told him.
"yes, I want to finish this." Naruto said to the falcon.
After many kisses and Naruto pulling on a change of clothes, the group headed down to the arena.
Naruto found his team standing waiting for him. Out of all the teams, only a handful had made it. Team 8, Team 10, The Oto team, The Iwa team, and Gia's team were there. The team's sensies stood in front of them with the hokage.
The hokage coughed to get there attention. As everyone settled down, he cleared his throat before talking.
"I see everyone is here, then we can go onto the third part of the Chunnin exam. It will be a three person match in one months time. The three people will be chosen at random at that time. I want everyone to do their best for their villages. Many important people will be there to see you, judge your skills to see if you will be able to help them in the future. I want everyone to be safe and sound, enjoy the youth you have as it will not last. Now you may go, may you all be well." Sarutobi told the teams.
With that the teams left one by one with their sensies. As Team 7 was leaving, the female from the Iwa team stopped Naruto.
"I hope we fight in the next round. If you can survive what I throw at you, I'll be impressed." the Iwa ninja told Naruto.
"I look forward to it. I hope to keep you on your toes." Naruto told her smiling.
Outside the TG 44, Sasuke turned to Kakshi. "I need your help." the Uchia stated. Kakshi had been told by Sakura what had happened, he had to watch the Uchia.
"Fine, but the training that I'll put you through will be the hardest that you have ever been put through." Kakshi told him, Sasuke nodded. "Fine, meet me in this tg with nothing but your equipment."
Sakura was wondering who she would have to fight. Looking for Mizu ryū, she spotted him talking to Haku. "Mizu ryū, I need your help. I want to be stronger, if I go up agianst Sasuke or Naruto I know I will lose. I want to be able to fight along side them, as comrades." Mizu ryū smiled, "Sakura if your sure you want my help, you'll wish you had went to hell and ask the devil himself for a vacation." Sakura looked slightly shocked, but didn't budge. "Fine, we'll start first thing tomorrow. Pack only what you need, nothing more."
Naruto walked with Kits to his house. As they entered the shopping district, they stopped at a weapons shop that had a little panda on it. Upon entering, there was a large man exiting the back.
"Welcome to Happy Panda's Weapon Shop, how can I help you today." The man asked.
"Hi, Ten-ten told me you might want to see this." Naruto told the man as he took off Keta.
The man set down the cloth he had be using to wipe his face. He picked up Keta off the counter and unseathed sword.
"My goodness, I've never seen anything like this. The metal is not of this world, and the balance is perfect. Ten-ten was right to have you let me look at it. You can't find another sword like this anywhere, my young friend. Keep it safe." The man told him as he returned Keta to Naruto. "For just showing that to me, you can have whatever you want half-off."
"In that case, I have a custom order I need done." Naruto told him pulling out a scroll. He undid the scroll and unsealed the guantlets the Demon brothers were wearing. "I need this turned into a smaller set, two if you can do it."
"Can I do it, does the third read pervy books." the man asked, taking the gaunlets to the back where a large panda was hammering on some metal. "Pap, we have a custom order. I don't care if you are half done with the order of shurikens. We need these done yesterday." Turning back to Naruto, the man smiled, "they'll be done by the end of the week, anything else?"
"Can you keep the slots for vials on the smaller forms? Also I need an order of 100 shurikens, kunia and some explosives. If you can get them." Naruto told him.
The man nodded then turned and headed out the back, "Pay me at the end of the week, if they don't work as well as you want, You don't have to pay for the work."
Nodding Naruto left the weapons shop, he and Kits made a few stops for food then headed back to the Namikaze compound.
Naruto went down to the basement, as he flicked on the light he saw it was half libary and half training area. In the libary area there was a chair and a small table, seeing a dusty picture frame on the table he went over and picked it up. Wiping away the dust he saw it was a picture of his mother pregnant with him, his father was kneel with his ear to her belly. Both were smiling and laughing as he guessed he had just kicked. Wiping a tear away from his eye, Naruto realized that this was the only photo of him with his parents. He set down the picture as the whole house shook from an explosion.
Naruto rushed upstairs, upon entering the living room he saw that the couches and chairs were flipped over, the tv busted, the door had been busted in. Two people stood in the center of the room with an unconsious Kits. One was a tall man with orange hair and purple eyes with rings. The other was white as paper with blue hair, both were wearing black cloaks with red clouds.
"What have you done to my home and my mate!" Naruto asked the two as they stood there, Naruto started to flex his tails and claws.
"Easy Naruto, we didn't do this. We only wanted to talk, Kits defended her territory." the orange haired man told him, looking around at the mess. "A little to well."
"Someone wants to talk to you. I think you might be interested in what he has to say." the blue haired woman told Naruto.
"And why would I want to talk to him?" Naruto asked defensively.
"Because, he's your cousin." the orange haired ninja told him.
Naruto stopped stock still when he heard that. "My cousin?"
"yes, but we need to leave now. The anbu will be here in a few seconds. If we don't leave now, then we can't help you." the blue haired ninja told him.
Looking at both of them, Naruto nodded. "Let's go."
Putting Kits into his jacket, Naruto followed the two outside the village and a good 20 miles to a giant tree. The blue haired ninja opened the path to the main chamber.
when they entered it was all shadows and darkness, but as they entered oil lamps sprung to life. At the far end was a thin man with purple ringed eyes hanging from some sort of carving done into the wall.
Looking up the thin man smiled, "Naruto, my cousin. I'm sorry to have behaved so drastically. We are in need of your help."
"Who are you, how are you related to me. My family is dead, both my parents gone." Naruto accused the thin man.
"My name is Pein, I'm your mother's cousin. I wish I could have helped you as you grew, but I can not enter the Leaf on my own free will. Even this close I can see the fire of hatred for my blood." Pein told him.
"Why do you need my help?" Naruto asked Pein.
"Because we both want the same thing, Orochimaru. You see, he placed me here so that I could never destroy him with the power that he instilled in me. We escaped barely, my friends have sacrificed more for me than I could ever do for them. If you release me, I will be able to tell you of your mother and what is truly locked inside you." Pein explained to him.
Naruto walked up to the thin man, "Orochimaru plans on attacking the Leaf next month. We need your help if you can. His whole village that he made plus the Sand Village. I have a plan, but it'll take forever to do by myself."
Pein nodded to the two ninjas, "It's the only time we can catch him, if we don't he'll go back into hiding."
"We will help you. But first we will bestow a gift upon you, at first it will be painful. Over time you will control it, you do not have to accept it if you do not want to." the orange haired ninja told Naruto.
"If it helps my family, I will take it." Naruto stood straight. "Pein, I accept your gift."
Pein smiled, he slowly reached out and touched Naruto's eyes. Suddently Naruto screamed, falling to the ground he clutched his sockets.
"The eyes I have are powerful, the paths are forged through life. The right and the wrongs, the truth and the lies, the friendships and betrayals. I hope that they can help you, my cousin. Cough, cough." Pein started coughing blood. The blue haired ninja rushed to him, using medical jutsus she helped him stop the coughing.
The orange haired ninja looked up at Pein, "You over excerted yourself, you almost died when you gave me my sight back. We can't lose you, you are the last of the Whirlpool."
Pein shook his head, "No, my brother. Naruto needs this gift, now please return him to the compound. We have to tell the others what has happened, prepare them for battle. We can not have Madra take the tailed beasts' spirits. He'll kill everyone we ever loved, and will love. We must take Orochimaru so that I can be free of the curse he put on me, so that I may guide my cousin."
The orange haired ninja nodded, picking up Naruto he turned and left.
Pein looked toward the other ninja, "How long do I have left?"
"If we can't capture Orochimaru, 4 years." the blue haired ninja told him.
"We will capture Orochimaru, we have to." Pein replied.

I forgot to mention that Naruto can control each element, cuz of his condition of turning in to a half-breed. But what a major shock, Garaa is a girl, Pein is Naruto's cousin, and there is an Iwa team in the Chunnin exams. My god what will happen next. Will Sasuke become more powerful than Naruto? Will Naruto know what to do with his new power? What is Madra up to? Only I know the answers, please review and tell me how you liked it.
