"Get in the truck, now!" I screamed. "Taylor, Calm Down", Daryl said.
"No, she's my best friend. I'm not gonna leave her out there to die. I have to find her." I said. "We don't know how far his town is...", Daryl said. "I have time!" I screamed.
"It's not about time, it's about gas", Hershel said. "We can't just leave her!" I said starting to cry.
"Baby, we're not leaving her. It's just till the morning", Daryl said. "If you don't go with me... I'll... I'll just go by myself", I said heading for the door. Daryl grabbed me by the hips and held me back, while I cried harder.
"We'll go in the morning, I promise", I leaned into his shoulder and bald. Daryl carried me upstairs like a child.
"Now, go to sleep", he said stroking my hair. I nodded as I began to doze off.
3 A.M. Strikes. I woke up from a horrid nightmare. I screamed... "They killed 'em! Oh my god! They killed my best friend!" I began to cry. "Shh, it was just a bad nightmare. Shh, it's gonna be alright. Now go back to sleep", he said kissing my forehead.
The next morning, I woke up to Daryl rubbing my back, "Time to get up".
"Five more minutes", I said. "I you wanna fin-", I cut him off, and ran into the shower.
I got out and put on my orange tank top and cut off denim shorts. "Let's go"."You're not going to eat breakfast?" Daryl said.
"No, I need my friend back.", I said. "Ok, then". He said, taking my hand.
"Rick, we're leaving!" I said. "I've decided I'm going with you." He responded.
"Ok, but we're leaving now." I said grabbing my weapons and heading to my truck.
