Naruto and his team, walked up to the Hokage tower to receive their first official mission. Naruto noticed that Moegi and Matsuri looked a little tired so he turned to them and asked. "Why do you to looked like the walking dead."

Matsuri looked up at him. "Me and Moegi are both orphans. That means that when we graduated the academy they stopped feeding us. The matriarch at the orphanage gave us the money for a month's rent at an apartment each but nothing else. So Moegi paid for the apartment and me the food but we ran out two days ago." Naruto looked down at them remembering the nights he had spent clutching his stomach from hunger pains.

"Well how about we stop by ichiraku's for a bite before going to the tower." The two girls eyes lit up as they walked towards the ramen stand. When they arrived the four of them took their seats and ordered.

While Teuchi made the food Naruto turned to his students. "Girls I want you to remember that you can always come to me if you're having trouble with anything understood." The three girls nodded before beginning their meal.

After lunch the team headed to the Hokage tower to retrieve a mission. When they arrived they saw Hiruzen sitting behind the desk. "So Jiji what's our mission today."

Hiruzen looked threw the missions. "Team Naruto your mission is to travel to Kumogakure and escort a team of leaf diplomats back here you leave in one hour." The team nodded before taking off to pack.

Naruto arrived home to see that Kushina was sitting on the couch playing solitaire. "Hey Kaa-chan."

Kushina looked up at him and smiled. "Oh hey Naruto-kun how's your team."

"Good we're taking off in a hour to go on a mission."

Kushina tilted her head. "What rank because I know that these girls are fresh out of the academy."

Naruto nodded. "C-rank. I'm not going to bother with D-ranks because they won't know how important team work is until they see how deadly it can make them."

Kushina nodded remembering leading a genin team during the third shinobi war. "Alright then at least be careful."

Naruto nodded hugging her. "I will Kaa-chan you don't have to worry about that." He then walked upstairs and grabbed a scroll that held everything he needed for a long-term mission.

A hour later Team Naruto meat up at the main gate. Naruto turned to his group. "Alright team today we start our first official mission. Remember to keep your eyes open. Even as genin you have to because most jonin sensei's are in the bingo book. So let's get moving." The girls nodded before following Naruto out the gate towards Kumo.

The team walked for about four or five hours before they decided to set up camp as the sun was already starting to go down. They each pitched their tents and gathered in the center for Naruto's instructions. "Alright Moegi your in charge of the fire be sure to dig a small pit to keep it from spreading to the tents. Hanabi there's a small stream about a hundred yards to the east so go see if you can grab some water. Matsuri you go with her to see if there is any fish in the river." The three girls nodded before taking off to complete their assignments. After about twenty minutes all three girls had finished their assignments and the group was sitting around a campfire eating dinner. "Alright girls listen up Kumo is a very strict place. Their genin probably already know more than one C-rank jutsu so don't go picking any fights with anyone. And make sure that you watch your backs, the Raikage was looking to get his hands on the byakugan a few years back. So Moegi Matsuri keep a eye on Hanabi while we're here."

He then pulled out three hiraishin kunai and handed one to each of his students. "If at any time you find yourselves in trouble I want you to throw that kunai and I'll be right there." The three girls nodded.

Moegi decided to speek up. "Sensei if we have so many problems with Kumo then why are we setting up a treaty with them."

Naruto chuckled slightly. "Well Moegi that is simple. There is a saying that goes back to before the Rikudou senin. 'keep you friends close and your enemies closer.' We are shinobi we take every advantage that we can. By the way I have something for each of you." Naruto said as he unsealed three books from his arm. "It's called the art of war it's a book that went so far back in time that it's not even in the history books. Apparently a copy was uncover on a archeology dig in tea country and was gifted to my father years ago. I had a clone create copies for each of you. It is now the required reading for team Naruto to read at least one chapter a night and you will be tested on each chapter you claim to have read."

All three girls nodded thanking Naruto for the book. The group spent the rest of the night discussing increasing their training regimen when they got back the girls not wanting to be out done by the Kumo genin. Naruto would have to have a talk with the council and Tsunade when he got back about increasing the training at the academy. He knew that he could get Mikoto on his side and likely Tsume as well. He only hoped that he could get the rest on his side. So long as he got the shinobi council and Tsunade on his side the civilians couldn't do a damn thing about it.

The group spent the next three days traveling to Kumo. When they arrived at the gates of Kumo they were greated by the Raikage himself. "Ahhh if it isn't the gold fox of Konoha. I'm surprised they sent a triple-s rank ninja here for a C-rank mission."

Naruto chuckled. "I guess you didn't here the news. I took on a genin team."

A looked behind Naruto and saw the three girls. "Well I guess you have you three should count yourself lucky. A shinobi like your sensei comes around once, maybe twice in generation. So now that that is out of the way why the three of don't you follow me and I will introduce you to the diplomatic team." Naruto nodded as A lead the team through the streets of Kumo to the Raikage tower. Naruto kept his eyes open just in case one of the shinobi around tried to take their chances with kidnapping Hinabi. The team managed to make it to the tower without any incident. When they entered A's office they saw what appeared to be the diplomatic team.

"Team Naruto meat team Samui. They are the team that you will be escorting back to Konoha. I want you to make sure that you take care of this team. You will also be joined by a member of my personal guard for added protection. Yugito come in here please." Yugito walked into the room already prepared for a mission. "This is Yugito Nii jinjuriki of the two tailed cat. She will be your back up on this mission."

Naruto nodded. "We will leave first thing in the morning." He turned to the group he would be escorting as well as his team. "We will meet at eight am at the main gate and depart from there. If you have any questions my team will be at the dark cloud hotel tonight don't hesitate to stop by." The Kumo team nodded before the teams parted ways.

Naruto and his team made his way to the dark cloud hotel. When they arrived at the hotel Naruto walked up to the front desk and was greeted by a smiling young lady. "Hello sir how may I help you."

Naruto smiled back at the lady. "Would you happen to have a room for four people?"

The girl looked at the registry. "We have a room with to queen sized beds and a pull out couch would that be alright."

Naruto nodded. "That would be just fine thank you." The girl nodded and handed the keys to Naruto with a small piece of paper. As they walked away Naruto read the note making sure to keep it out of sight of sight of team. 'Meet me in room 313 at midnight tonight for a good time.' Naruto smiled he might as well have some fun while he's here.

After he finally got his team to go to bed Naruto made his way to get dressed. It was midnight when Naruto knocked on the door of room 313. When it opened it revealed the woman who had been working at the front desk. She stood at about five-five with a slim figure and perky B-cup breast. She had long brown hair and green eyes. She wore a thin black teddy and matching sheer panties. She gave him a predatory grin. "So you showed up huh. I'm glad you came." She moved aside to allow him in. "come on in. By the way my name is Sena."
