Sorry about this being a day late. I decided to combine Kisa and Hiro's chapters because they would certainly be leaving together and their new histories are so interconnected. It seemed easier and less annoying to my readers if I combined them instead of making it a TBC. Anyway, enjoy! Reviews are motivation :)

Kisa grabbed Hiro's hand as they left the Main House, and they both froze as they stepped into the sunlight.

"Hey, freaks!" one boy yelling after the two of them after school one day, "Yeah, you! Yellow-eyes and her weirdo boyfriend!"

Hiro whirling around, "I'm not her boyfriend! Back off!" The group of children laughed and kept coming at them. Before Kisa and Hiro knew what was happening, they were cornered.

"Get behind me, Kisa."

"But, Hiro-"

"Now!"

The brutal beating. The kids running away when some adults saw Hiro bleeding in the street, the ambulance ride.

Kisa, sitting by Hiro's prone body, beside herself with grief. She hadn't said a word since the incident the week before.

Adults murmuring about Hiro, the guilt piling up on Kisa's shoulders. Kisa running away, only to come back when Haru found her.

Kisa, meeting Sissy. When Hiro got out of the hospital, he met Sissy, too. Tohru adopted both of them like younger siblings, and Hiro started to like her… a little.

Kisa, smiling like the sun whenever Tohru was around, grabbing Hiro's hand at every opportunity. It made everything worth it for Hiro.

Hiro, smiling sometimes. His cruelty phase was short-lived and he was starting to mellow out considerably, even around Sissy.

"Kisa…" Hiro started, looking over at the tiger. Kisa looked at him, a soft smile playing across her face.

"Yes, Hiro?" she asked.

"Now that Akito… I mean, I know that he hit you because of what I felt, and now that he's…" Hiro struggled with the words.

"I know," Kisa said quietly, "And I'm glad, too."

The two walked off into the estate, towards the small Sohma park, seeking time alone. They had a lot to talk about.
