So... I have been away from writing for a lot of time, in these years I have experienced several things, a lot of bad stuff but a ton more of good stuff (like getting a boyfriend 3 ). I think from those experiences I've gotten enough inspiration to continue writing, though I may update really slowly since college + work + social life doesn't leave me with much time lately. If there is still some people interested on reading, thank you~
P.S.: Let me know if the writing is a bit off, kinda rusty here .
Hold Me
Chapter 5
Thursday evening started to make up for the fiasco that the rest of the week had been for him. Superboy had been able to enjoy some movies with Kid Flash and Robin, even letting himself doze off for a while on the couch before excusing himself to bed.
Yet, late at night and alone in his room, he couldn't seem to get any sleep.
It was odd... he usually felt excited the night before his weekly routine, for what he would fall asleep almost instantly for the Friday to arrive sooner. But this time he couldn't do it, he couldn't stop thinking about something.
'He won't come for me tomorrow...'
It had been on the third week working on those streets. Bastian had just finished with a client, but he knew there was time for another before it was time to head back to the cave.
He waited for a while until he saw a man signaling for him to follow into an alley.
"Hey" the elder man said while resting on the alley's wall. "You have been working all night, haven't you?"
"I still have time for another client" He smirked
"Is that so?"
The elder man took hold of Bastian's body, to which the teenager responded with a passionate kiss, like he had learnt on the last weeks. Then all of sudden the kiss stopped as he felt something hard on the side of his neck.
"Wha-" He mumbled as he noticed the gun on his neck.
"Give me all that you got and you can leave." The elder man ordered "No sudden moves, or I'll make sure to put another hole on you"
Superboy wanted to laugh, if only this guy knew... but he was Bastian now, and he didn't want to blow up his cover just for money, he didn't really need it anyway.
"U-unders -stood..." Bastian tried to fake fear on his voice as he moved his hand to his pocket.
"Good boy"
He was about to hand the bills when he noticed something behind the thief. 'Superman?' The teenager thought as he saw a muscled frame covered by the S shield approaching.
The thief turned in time to receive a punch on the face, pulling the trigger on his gun as impulse. The bullet bounced off Bastian, luckily the man on a Superman's gray hoodie was too busy punching the thief on the face as to pay attention to that. The teenager just stood there, looking as this new man punched the thief until leaving him unconscious.
"You okay?" The stranger asked as he checked on Bastian. "The bullet didn't hit you, did it?"
"N-no..." He lied. "I'm okay"
"Here." The man took his hoodie out and handed it to the teenager. "You better put this on."
Superboy hadn't had noticed it, but he was trembling. It wasn't for the cold though, but because he was utterly scared. For a moment he thought it was Superman who had come to his rescue. He didn't even dared to imagine what Superman would do if he found him in that situation...
"I'm o-"
"You're not okay, you are trembling." The man insisted as he forced the young hero to put the hoodie on. "You're lucky I went on jogging at this hour." The stranger patted the youngster's head and ruffled his hair. "Try to be more careful from now on."
"Thanks..." Bastian tried to avoid looking at his savior, not only did he have the frame of Superman's body, but he also had blue eyes, albeit a lot darker, nonetheless the resemblance made him nervous. "But I'm okay really." He pulled the hoodie off just to find out that his savior had disappeared.
"I can't believe it has been months since that..." Superboy sighed as he walked off bed to open his closet, from where he pulled out a hoodie with the Superman shield on it. "Herc..." He muttered as he put the hoodie on before going back to bed.
He would never admit it, but he liked to put his special client's hoodie on when he felt troubled, the faint smell of the wrestler would always calm him. Maybe that's why he hadn't returned it after all that time.
A week after the incident with the thief Bastian had returned to those streets. Of course he would be sure to stay cautious on clients, at least on the ones who didn't own a car.
After some clients he found himself back on the place where he almost was robbed. He was chuckling at the thought of someone trying to rob him when he saw a car blinking lights at him.
As usual he would go and stand besides the companion's door, waiting for the driver to lower the window. This time, however, the door opened and he went in the car after hearing a voice inviting him inside.
"You know you are a lot of trouble to find, don't you?" Bastian's savior said as the teenager closed the door. "I came looking for you all week."
"You are..." The youngster felt nervous talking to this guy, he hadn't even brought the hoodie he had been forced to take home with him. "Sorry, I don't have your ho-"
The elder guy interrupted Bastian with a kiss. "You can keep it." He smiled. "What do you say if I hire you for the rest of the night?"
Bastian nodded in silent agreement.
As they drove to a hotel Superboy kept looking at his new client. He felt relieved when he realized that he wasn't that similar to Superman; in the end they only shared the body frame. Superman's eyes were clearer, he didn't have a beard, neither he had olive skin or those factions on his face. He sighed as he deducted it had been all a misdirected perception for the S shield. Now he could treat him as just another client... couldn't he?
On the way to the hotel he learnt more about his savior, now he knew his name, what he did for a living and other stuff that his clients usually didn't bother to tell him like hobbies or things from the past. The teenager felt the need to share more with him, but beside his name and telling him that he only worked on that on Fridays he couldn't tell him much.
He spent the rest of the night at the hotel with Herc, but it wasn't like with any other of his clients. The wrestler was gentle, making sure that both of them would feel the pleasure of his actions. It was a new kind of pleasure, not only of being wanted but also of wanting to have this person in particular wanting him. Even once they were finished the wrestler would just kept caressing and holding him. Bastian felt safe with him, safe enough to even fall asleep for a moment.
"Of course I'm paying you." Herc argued once it was time to leave. "I told you I was hiring you."
Bastian didn't feel right accepting payment from him, but just like with the hoodie he ended up accepting it.
"And just so you know, I'll come for you every week from now on. So you better reserve the last part of your night for me." Herc ordered as he gave a last kiss before leaving.
The teenager felt odd as he processed what his new client said. He had returning clients, but none of them would come weekly, neither had them told him to 'reserve' them part of the night... but maybe it would be fine to have someone like the wrestler come for him that often.
The young hero continued on thinking on the nights that he had spent with Herc. He had gotten so used to it, that he didn't know what to expect without it.
'And now I won't see him for two weeks... ' Superboy thought as he pulled the hood over his head before drifting off to sleep.
