A/N: So, not really a sexy, smutty chapter. This just felt true to what was unfolding for Jane. I hope you all enjoy. Reviews = love!

Another hard case had Jane sitting on her couch downing a Blue Moon while the Sox were on the television. Jo laid across her lap, sleeping. Her free hand absentmindedly pet the pup while she watched. It was in these moments she longed most for Maura's control. To fully let herself go, lose herself. She also longed just to feel Maura hold her again. Laying across her soft chest, naked and happy.

Much to Jo's unhappiness, Jane had to move her in order to get another beer. Three drinks later, she was sitting with her phone in her hand. 'I miss you,' she texted and then set the phone on the cushion beside her.

A few moments later, the phone vibrated with a text alert. 'I miss you, Jane. Not just the unique parts. I miss all parts.' Jane smiled wistfully for a moment then made a fist and pounded her thigh. "Dammit, Rizzoli! Just suck it up and go over there. You can do this. You both need each other. Isn't God all about love? Yes. Yes she is." That was that. She'd made up her mind and grabbed her coat and Jo's leash.

The dog excitedly wagged her tail and let out a little bark. "You're going to stay with grandma tonight, kiddo. Mommy's gonna be uh, busy." Even though logically Jane knew the dog didn't understand her, talking to Jo was still something she did out of habit. She leaned and clipped the leash, finding the irony in the situation just amusing.

Even though she hadn't outright told her mother about her relationship with Maura, Angela knew something was going on between the women. Just as she knew when things had fallen apart. One minute Jane seemed to practically live there. The next, she was nowhere to be seen. Angela opened the door to the guest house, wide-eyed with surprise. "Janie, I didn't know you were coming over!"

"I'm kind of not, Ma. Can you watch Jo? I need to uh, go talk to Maura? " She nervously explained.

Angela knew there was more than talking that would take place, but also knew mentioning it would upset Jane. She nodded. "Of course I still have some food for her if she hasn't eaten?"

"She had a little dry food, but if you've got a can of that limited ingredient food that doesn't have poultry, she'd love it." Jane said, handing Angela the leash.

She smiled and nodded. "I always keep some on hand just in case. Come on, sweetie. Mommy's gotta go make up with your other mommy." Angela said, needing Jane to know she knew and was more than fine with things.

Jane blushed deeply at the remark but didn't let it stop her. In fact, Angela knowing and seeming to approve made the woman suddenly feel invincible. She took a deep breath, turned on her heel and walked over to Maura's front door. She knocked and waited.

Maura came to the door and looked through the peep hole, also surprised but answered. "Jane, I hadn't expected you to come over." She said as she opened the door to allow Jane entry.

Jane breezed past gently as she walked inside. "I hadn't expected to come over, honestly. I just was sitting watching the Sox and it all felt...wrong." She confessed.

Maura said nothing, knowing Jane had to get whatever it was out in her own time and way. She did however move toward the kitchen to get Jane a beer along with her glass of wine she'd left to answer the door.

"Thanks," Jane said as she took the drink. "I miss us," she said softly. "I know I got spooked by my own damned self. I shoved the Catholic shit aside when it was just us making love but for some reason, the deeper we went with the BDSM stuff, I don't know. It felt so good that it had to be wrong. I realized tonight if there is a god, all that matters is how we love, not who we love. What we do, it's consensual and loving. You've never degraded me. Never actually hurt me. How can a relationship like that be wrong?"

Maura listened intently and quietly, nodding along. When Jane ended on the question, she paused before speaking. "I miss us too, Jane. I didn't feel any aspect of our relationship was wrong though I did understand we come from completely different backgrounds. I understand the basis of so many religions from an academic standpoint rather than belief-based. So on an academic level, I understood your concept of guilt. On the level of experiencing, I was out of my depth which is why I let you be despite how desperately I wanted to just reach out and kiss you or hug you. I knew wherever we are to go has to guided by you. Are you here because you're wanting us back or just wanting to talk?"

Jane reached her hand to Maura's. "I want us back, please? I won't run again, I swear. I dropped Jo off with Ma and when I did? She told Jo I had to come make up with her other mommy. That...knowing she knows? She's happy for me? That meant so much. Took a lot of weight off my shoulders. That is, if you want this."

Maura shook her head before pressing a kiss to Jane's lips. "I've always wanted this, Jane. I want you. I just need you not to up and leave again. That was too painful."

Jane kissed back and listened to what Maura had to say. "I swear, I won't. I will spend the rest of our lives making it up to you."

"You don't have to make anything up to me but spending the rest of our lives together sounds nice," Maura said with a smile.

Jane kissed her cheek. "I can't think of a person better to spend forever with."

"So, Isles-Rizzoli or Rizzoli-Isles?" Maura asked.

Jane blinked for a moment. "Oh. I think we have time to work on that, Dr. Isles. I think for now, you and I should go up to your room and make up properly," Jane said with a smirk.

"I think that's a very good idea, Det. Rizzoli," Maura shot back with a grin before setting her glass on the counter as Jane set her bottle down.

The two practically rushed upstairs, ripping things off as they went. When they got to Maura's room, Jane pulled a topless Maura to her and just held her for a moment. The sensation of skin on skin was what she needed in that moment.

Maura wrapped her arms around Jane and kissed her neck. She softly whispered, "tell me what you're wanting tonight."

"Just you," Jane said softly. "Just us."

Maura smiled and gently nibbled then sucked Jane's pulse point eliciting a moan from her lover. She let her hands slip to undo Jane's belt and then her slacks.

Jane shimmied out of her pants and reached, unzipping Maura's skirt.

Before long they were both blissfully naked in Maura's bed. Maura traced her hand over Jane's body softly as they kissed. When it broke, she smiled. "Move in with me? This bed is too big without you in it anymore."

"Really? You're sure you want me to move in?" Jane knew it was dumb to question, but she was too shocked not to.

Maura nodded. "Of course I'm sure. I love you, Jane. You practically lived here before. I know you own your condo but we could see if perhaps your mother would like to move in? Leave us more time to explore the dungeon securely? If you want that, of course." She quickly added.

"That's a really smart idea," Jane said with a grin. "I think it's perfect," she leaned in and kissed Maura deeply. "We'll just tell Ma couples like their space. She'll understand. And she'll still drop by all the time. She'll just need to give us some kind of warning beforehand."

"Exactly," Maura said with a smile.

They spent the rest of the night making love. Alternating between passionate and heated to soft and sweet. All that mattered was in that moment, they had each other
