A few weeks have past since she warned her friends to stay away from her and like she asked they all stayed away from her. Everytime Elaine and her made a potion and go into the village they never could get anyone to try it because they stayed away. Elaine was actually getting annoyed and even went to use the potion herself and when she did it very few people fell for it. Lucky for Lucinda the potions were not that bad and would wear off in a day or so. However she worried because the lessons still continued if with all the failed attempts.

"Why are none of them taking the potions?" Elaine said annoyed.

"Maybe they learned our tricks." Lucinda offered.

"Still? How would they know to stay away?" She said now getting angry.

"Don't know." Lucinda said innocently.

"Well, I can't worry about it now. I need to go." Elaine said realized she needed to leave for the day.

"OK. Bye." Lucinda said happy they were finally done for the day.

Now she pondered over how much longer this would go on. She also began to wonder where she went off to so often. Recently she noticed her mom going out often as well. She even woke up one night and heard Elaine talking to her mom. She never found out what they discussed but she just assumed it was about her lessons. She just hoped her mom would not join the lessons because then it would not be good.

Then before she could think any further she heard her door. Her mom was gone and she knew better than to open the door when she doesn't know who it was. However when she heard a familiar voice she knew exactly who was at the door.

"Sofia?" She wondered as she opened the door to see her princess friend. "What are you doing here? Didn't you get the message to stay away from me."

"I did but I will not. You are my friend and I want to help you through this hard time." Sofia said sweetly.

"Thank you Sofia but I really think you should stay away from me. I fear if you are too close…" She was interrupted.

"...I might get hexed or have kind of potion put on me. I know but I still don't want you to be alone during all this. We are friends and friends help each other even if it is scary." Sofia explained.

"Sofia…" Lucinda said happily.

"Oh...Before I forgot. There is a party going on at the castle and I would like you to come."

"Sofia, I would but I…" But before she could finish she saw in the distance someone flying on a broom. She couldn't tell if it was her mom or Elaine but if it was Elaine it would be bad if she saw Sofia. "Sofia please leave for now."

"Why?" Sofia said not getting it.

Lucinda saw the broom getting closer and figured she should stall for for time so Sofia could leave. "I think Elaine, my teacher, is coming. If she sees you, you might be in danger." Lucinda said as she got her broom and got really to take off. "Please leave!" She called as she took off. Sofia watched as her witch friend flew off and even if she didn't want to she still left for now.

Meanwhile Lucinda was heading to the broom and like she thought it was Elaine. She hoped Sofia was leaving but tried to give her a little more time.

"Elaine what are you doing here again?" She asked.

"I seemed to have forgotten something at you house." She said still heading to Lucinda's house at full speed.

"Well, what is it? Maybe I can get it for you." Lucinda said trying to get in front of Elaine to stop her.

"You wouldn't know what this was." Elaine said not stopping.

"But…" Lucinda said trying to stop her while getting in front of Elaine.

"What it is? What are you up too Lucinda?" Elaine said.

"'I am not up to anything." Lucinda said in her defense.

"Really because I think you are…" But then Elaine looked down and saw the little princess walking away from Lucinda's house. "It is that princess?" She said pointing at Sofia.

"What!? NO! Of course not." Lucinda said in her defense again.

"Really." Elaine said.

"Yes." Lucinda said trying not to sound convincing.

"Well then, I think it is time for the finally test." Elaine said in a wicked way.

"What do you mean?" Lucinda said in wonder.

"The final potion lesson. We will do it at the upcoming princess party." Elaine said laughing evilly.

"What?!" Lucinda said in shock.

"'What? Do you have a problem with that?" Elaine said in high suspension.

Lucinda paused. She really didn't want to tell the true but she felt like she had to do something. "No. I am actually excited." She said nervously.

"Great. We will prepare the potion the day before the party." Elaine said.

"And when exactly is the party?" Lucinda wondered.

"Next week." Elaine said. She then laughed evilly and flew to Lucinda's house.

"Next week! I have to figure something out by next week?!"' Lucinda was not in complete panic. Not only would this happen next week but if it doesn't work how knows what will happen, but if it does work what would the potion do and how would everyone handle it. Lucinda hoped it would all work out but with how Elaine was she seriously doubted it.
