Chapter 4
The Funeral and the Meeting
"Nooooo! Joker! Why?!"
The door to Moonkek's room was slammed opened and a worried Emily ran in with Mathkat and Katmath right behind her.
"What's wrong?!" Emily demanded.
Moonkek looked up from her spot in her bed and pointed towards the manga she held in her hand. She sniffed.
"This! Joker dies! That's so sad and not only that but he's hot! Why they have to kill him off!?" She screamed and rolled across the bed in denial.
All three of them gave her a look that said "really" and sighed. Well Emily and Mathkat sighed, Katmath just grumbled.
"Great we ran in here for nothing." He grumbled and crossed his arms. "Now my soup will get cold!"
Mathkat rolled his eyes as the younger man stormed out of the room complaining about his soup. Emily looked curiously at the whining teenager.
"Moonkek… What are you wearing?" She asked.
Moonkek stopped whining and looked at her clothes. Mathkat saw her attire, blushed and looked away. She was wearing a worn out oversized-tank-top with dark blue sweatpants that were cut to above her knees.
"This? These are my pj's. I didn't want to get out today so I just kept this on," she explained.
"Y-your legs are showing," stated a blushing Mathkat.
Moonkek smirked at him.
"It's funny how you guys think showing legs are indecent, where I come from showing legs are an everyday occurrence," she explained.
Mathkat coughed in his hand.
"Well, um, okay. I'll just be leaving now." With that he quickly exited the room. Moonkek laughed.
"Well he left in a hurry didn't he?" Moonkek said as she laughed. Emily sighed but laughed too.
It had already been a week since Moonkek had arrived and things were going well…. At least for Moonkek. She was enjoying going out into the town with Emily except she would always wear her own clothes since she always had to wear a huge cloak anyway. Emily said it would be bad if someone saw her since they looked alike. She said she had many enemies and anyone could mistake Moonkek for her. Moonkek was also enjoying the food she ate since she didn't get a lot of food back home since her Uncle couldn't offered much. But even though she was allowed to eat as much as she wanted she never pampered herself.
She was also reading the all of the Kuroshitsuji books that were in the bag that Shi had given her; trying to figure out if she was in the anime version or the manga or maybe a mix of both. She wasn't quite sure but she didn't give it much thought.
Emily walked over and sat on the edge of the bed.
"You know, I think you're having way too much fun in teasing those two with your… Modern techniques," Emily said. Moonkek smiled at that.
"Ooh, come on, you have to admit its funny seeing them act that way." Moonkek laid back down and flipped the next page of the book.
Emily smiled remembering what Moonkek has done to the boys for the past week.
"Well let's see what you did to those boys for the past week. The first day after the ball you exchanged insults with Katmath, the next day you poured ice cubes down both boys' backs when they weren't looking. The third day you disturbed Mathkat, I think you may have scared him, when you went to ask him where you could train with the attire you were wearing. The day after that you called Katmath a, and I quote, "a weak ass pansy that's too afraid to take out a girl" and caused him to slam into the wall when he lunged at you." She counted all this off her fingers. "I could continue but it's obvious that you're getting revenge on the two. Mostly on Katmath."
She crossed her arms and looked at the teenager seriously.
"I don't really like people torturing my minions but..." She smiled. "Good job. It's quite entertaining."
Moonkek smirked and sat up and did a half-bow.
"Why thank you. I live to get revenge on jerks~."
Emily laughed. "Well make sure you don't hold a grudge on them for long, okay?"
"Pssshhh. Me? Hold grudges?" She teased.
Emily smiled and ruffled the teen's hair. Moonkek smiled back. Emily stood up and stretched while Moonkek went back to her book.
"So has Lady Elizabeth called are invite you yet?"
"Nope," Moonkek replied popping the p.
Emily frowned.
"I was hoping she would have invited you by now."
"She'll invite my when she wants too," Moonkek said as she flipped the page. "Besides she's probably busy with something."
"Hmmmm." Was Emily's only reply. She looked over at Moonkek and looked at the book she was reading. "What are reading?"
Moonkek turned a few more pages before replying. "Info."
Emily raised an eyebrow.
"Info? That doesn't really answer my question," she said.
"Well this manga is related to this world and really don't think it's a good idea for me to revel what happens." Moonkek peaked over her book. "Sooo, for the safety for everyone in this manga I'm not going show you."
Emily tilted her head in confusion.
"Manga? What is that?"
"It's basically a Japanese comic."
"Wait. Why would you need to get information from a comic and how is it related to my world?" Asked Emily.
Moonkek smirked and placed a finger by her lips.
"Not telling."
Emily felt a tick mark appear. She didn't like how Moonkek wasn't telling her anything about the manga and why it was related to her world. Just when Emily was about to order Moonkek to tell her how it was related to her world Katmath walked in.
"Hey, that noble girl's servant called asking Moonkek to come into town so that her lady and thin-stick here can go shopping or something," he said.
Moonkek glared at him.
"Again with that name! Can't you think up of something more witty?" said Moonkek. He only leaned against the doorway.
"And why would I need to think up of a better name when it already matches you soooo perfectly?" He said sarcastically.
Moonkek felt her anger start to rise and was going to retort back but Emily covered her mouth.
"Now, now, children, lets save the bickering after you two come back."
Both looked at her in confusion.
"What do you mean both of us?" Katmath asked.
"Lady Elizabeth will probably be chaperon by her servant so in order for Moonkek to seem more like a noble she will need someone to play the role as her servant." Emily looked at Katmath with a smirk. "And that will be played by you."
Katmath eyes widen and Moonkek had a huge smile on her face.
"WHAT!? I have to serve her?!" He yelled. Moonkek sat on the edge of the bed and swung her legs back and forth.
"Well isn't this a treat," she said happily; Katmath glared at her.
"Look you will only act as her servant when she's with Lady Elizabeth, it's not a permanent thing," said Emily.
Katmath swore under his breath and started to argue with Emily. Moonkek tuned them out and looked at both of them, seeing Katmath's face of displeasure and Emily's face, which said "I don't really care what you think." She sighed loudly getting the two's attention.
"Look you make a good point Emily and even though I would love to torture him while he had to act like a servant, I rather not force anyone to do anything they weren't comfortable doing." Both looked at her in surprise. "So I'll be fine without any servant."
Plus Moonkek didn't like the idea of anyone serving her unless they wanted to or were getting paid. Emily looked at her with calculating eyes.
"Moonkek… You do realize were trying to make an impression on Lady Elizabeth so you can get to the Phantomhives?"
Moonkek resisted the urge to roll her eyes.
"I know, I know, but it won't be that big of a deal and if Katmath here is uncomfortable doing this then we shouldn't force him to. Plus with my acting skills I bet I can make myself seem like double the noble women I would have been if I had a servant," she said.
Katmath looked at her in surprise and smiled slightly.
"Wow… Never expected you to be like this, maybe I was wrong about you," Katmath said in surprise.
Moonkek smiled sweetly at him and then got a dark shadow on her face and a smirk appeared on her face.
"Hehehe. Yes I can be nice but as soon as I get back be prepared Kitty~." She chuckled evilly. Both Emily and Katmath saw Moonkek turn into a little devil as she laughed evilly and tried to look scary.
Signs of respect for the teenager disappeared and were replaced with a frown and a sigh.
"Knew it was too good to be true," he stated. Emily sighed as she thought that Moonkek was at least a little bit mature.
"…Lets just get you ready Moonkek," Emiy said and pushed Katmath out.

"Please get here Lizzy because if you don't… I'm going die in this heat!" Moonkek yelled at her absent friend.
She was sprawled out underneath one of the park's trees close to the entrance as she waited for Lizzy. She was dressed in a semi-heavy grey dress. It had long-sleeves that had white lace at the ends and at the rims of the dress and waistline. She had a whit bow in the middle with a light green brooch centered in it and was wearing dark brown boots. She was wearing the wig again but this time she had it in a braid with a white rose placed on the bottom.
Emily said this was the lightest dress they had… Yeah right! What was this made out of wool?!... Oh, wait, it is made of wool!
Moonkek knocked her head against the tree to shake her head out of those last thought. Okay, the heat is defiantly affecting me.
She rubbed her temples in order for her to start focusing.
"Lizzy, please get here soon," she said out loud softly.
She leaned herself against the tree and closed her eyes and pictured being somewhere colder so she could slightly escape the heat. It must have been ten minutes before she heard Lizzy yelling.
"Moonkek!" She heard Lizzy yell.
She shot up off the tree and straightened herself as she saw Lizzy and her servant come over.
If Moonkek remembered correctly Lizzy's maid name was Paula. As they got closer Moonkek could see more clearly of Paula's appearance. She had medium length brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a brown coat, black gloves and a small black hat. She had on black boots and a light brown dress and she carried a basket with her. She seemed very cheery and kind.
Moonkek smiled and waved to Lizzy and Paula while mentally thanking the gods that Lizzy came before she had passed out from the heat. She walked towards the two and hugged Lizzy in greeting.
"It's so nice to see you again, Lizzy," Moonkek said with a smile.
Lizzy returned the smile. "And you too, Moonkek. I have such a lovely day planned for us I hope you enjoyed it."
"Oh, I know we will. Whatever you have planned will be fun."
"Lady Elizabeth has been placing a lot of heart in to today's activities," Paula said. She smiled and curtsied. "Let me introduce myself; I am Paula, Lady Elizabeth's maid. It is a pleasure to finally meet my lady's new friend."
Mookek curtsied back. "It is a pleasure to meet you too."
Elizabeth clapped her hands gaining the attention of the two others.
"Now that you two are aquatinted let us go and enjoy ourselves," Lizzy said happily.

The two noble girls (well one noble girl and one faking being a noble) laughed and chattered away about random things and got to know each other better. Paula smiled; happy with the fact that her lady was enjoying herself with her new found friend. Elizabeth had planned the day to be a picnic and was currently eating under a large tree in the park. Moonkek was happy that they were eating under the shade of the tree so she wouldn't be burned up even more from the heat.
Lizzy and Moonkek were sitting on the blanket eating cakes and drinking tea. What was packed for the picnic were small sandwiches, pies, little cakes and of course tea. Moonkek was surprised with how much she and Lizzy were talking but that didn't mean she wasn't having fun. In fact she was enjoying the fact that she was so distracted by Elizabeth with their talk that she forgot for a few hours that she was from a different world.
They both busted out laughing as Moonkek told her one of her Thrint's joke he told her a long time ago. Their laughter started to go down as they breathed in deeply in order to calm down. After they stopped laughing Moonkek drank her tea and munched on her cake, Lizzy did the same but she didn't eat as much. Her head was down and she just stared at the liquid in the pretty little teacup.
Moonkek noticed this after she finished off her cake. She was wondering why Elizabeth had a change of attitude all of a sudden and she titled her head in confusion.
"Is everything okay Lizzy?" Moonkek asked with concern.
Lizzy snapped her head up and wiped her eyes. She smiled brightly at Moonkek but it was obvious it was forced.
"O-of course why wouldn't be?" She asked as she continued to smile.
Moonkek frowned and placed her tea down.
"Lizzy, if something is wrong you can tell me. I'm your friend." Moonkek smiled kindly to her. "I'm here for you."
Lizzy looked at her warm smile and couldn't hold back her tears anymore and cried. Moonkek quickly went over to Lizzy and brought her into a hug and rubbed her back and as she bawled her eyes out. Moonkek shushed her in order to help calm her down and looked over to Paula and pointed over to the sweets and tea, telling Paula to get it ready. Paula nodded, understanding that Moonkek was thinking food would help comfort her lady.
As Paula poured out a new piping hot cup of tea and prepared sweets for her lady, Moonkek continued to comfort her friend. After a while of this Lizzy started to calm down, her cries died down to soft hiccups. Moonkek grabbed one of the napkins and damped away her tears and placed it on her nose.
"Blow," she ordered.
Lizzy did as she was told and blew her nose into the napkin making a horrific noise. Moonkek didn't act in disgust though since she was accustomed to such a disgusting sound since she would usually be taking care of Uncle since he was sick most of the time.
Moonkek placed the disgusting rag on the side and gave Lizzy a comforting look.
"Now that you're calm do you want to tell me what's wrong?" Moonkek asked.
Lizzy didn't say anything as she solemnly looked at her hands but after a few moments she slowly nodded her head.
"I-It's about Auntie Ann… S-She's dead!" She bawled out and started to bawl again.
Moonkek felt her heart drop to the pit of her stomach as she heard Lizzy say the words she was dreading to hear. Madame Red was dead. She hadn't listened to her warning; it made Moonkek feel not only sadness for Lizzy and Ciel but also anger. Angry with herself for not taking matters into her own hands. She knew who was going to be killed next, she knew where it was going to go down but all she did was give her a stupid warning and just spent her time relaxing in a mansion torturing her kidnappers.
But she would have to save beating up herself for later, right now she had to comfort her friend.
"H-how did she die? If that's okay to ask," she said gently.
Lizzy was able to calm down and wiped her eyes and took in some deep breaths.
"I-I'm not sure how she died but it just happened out of the blue. Ciel was the one most affect though, he… He hasn't been exactly the same a-and I'm so worried for him," Lizzy said with a concern look on her face as she explained her concern for her fiancée.
Moonkek furrowed her brow.
"Is he okay?"
"Well he was the closest to Aunt Ann and he does already have such horrible memories."
I bet he does. Moonkek thought to herself as Lizzy continued to speak.
"So it makes me sad that he has more horrible memories but he seems to be putting up a strong face," Lizzy said as she sniffed.
"… Maybe that's just his way in dealing with his grief…" Moonkek was silent for a few minutes as she thought of what to say in order to cheer Lizzy up. "I suggest you just keep comforting him and hope for the best; you make him sound like a very brave guy so he'll probably recover his grief in a few weeks and be back to his old self." Moonkek hoped her words cheered Lizzy up.
It seemed to have work because Lizzy smiled some.
"Yes. Ciel is very brave," she said with slight blush. "That's why I always try to cheer him up even though I end up annoying him."
Moonkek smiled. "I bet he knows you're just trying to cheer him up."
Lizzy eye's seemed to brighten at those words.
"You think so?"
"Yup! I bet he knows your trying your best to keep him happy and if he doesn't realize this I'll go and knock some since into him for you~." Moonkek said all too happily.
Paula gasped. "Lady Moonkek! that's not exactly lady like!"
Moonkek realized her mistake and said opps.
She laughed nervously. "Sorry, I am usually protective of my friends."
Lizzy giggled as she heard what Moonkek said as Paula came over with the food.
"It's alright," Lizzy said.
Moonkek let out a sigh in relief and looked at the food Paula was carrying.
"Well if our little cry feast is over shall we finish enjoying our picnic?"

Moonkek slouched down deeply into the chair she was in. She was in the same room where she first met Emily. It turns out Emily's boss lived in a different mansion and the one she was in was just the meeting place. The only people who lived here were a few servants who didn't care about Emily's affairs or her boss's, that's why they hadn't mention anything about seeing two Lady Starcross to the boss. The other people who lived there were only Emily and her minions.
Moonkek was depressed… No seriously you could actually see the cloud of depression hanging over her. She still hadn't gotten over the fact that Madame Red was dead and was blaming herself for not following her instants. Even though it wasn't her fault for Madame Red death she couldn't help the fact that she could have gone to that dumb ally way herself and saved Madame Red from Grell.
She stared blankly at the fire and petted between Skim's ears as the little mouse slept on her stomach. It was late at night and Moonkek couldn't fall asleep with her troubled mind and thought maybe siting by a comforting fire would ease her but it didn't seem to work sense she was still feeling depressed. She had come back from her little picnic with Lizzy late in the afternoon and when she returned to the mansion she went straight to her room, changed into her pajamas and had spent the whole time moping and half-heartily reading manga.
Emily had walked into the room with a book and was planning to read while relaxing in front of the fire but her plans changed as soon as she saw the troubled teen. As she walked into the room and saw Moonkek staring off into space with a trouble look she sighed. She thought something was wrong when Moonkek had come back and now her suspicion was conformed.
She walked into the room and sat in the chair across from Moonkek. The teen didn't notice though as she was too focused on her thoughts. Emily cleared her throat causing the teen to jolt and look at her.
Emily smirked a little.
"Having fun in day-dream land?" Emily teased with a smile.
Moonkek didn't smile in return though and just sighed.
"Yeah, I'm having heck of a time," she said sarcastically.
Emily frowned a little.
"Well aren't you just being peachy this evening."
Moonkek sighed. "Sorry; I'm not really in a good mood."
"I can see that. I noticed you've been off ever since you came back." The older women gave her a concern look. "Did something happen?"
Moonkek sighed again and ran her hand through her hair.
"Yes… I mean no, I mean… Ugh! It's hard to explain," Moonkek said.
"Well." Emily crossed her arms and legs. "Try to explain; it might clear your head."
Moonkek was quiet as she tried to think how to explain how she was feeling. Could she tell Emily about Madame Red being Jack the Ripper? Could she tell her that she knew who was going to be killed and where it was all going down and that she could have prevented it? How she felt ashamed and guilty of not doing anything even though it wasn't her problem? Could she tell her any of that without revealing what she knew of this world?
Well she could give it a shot.
She took in a deep breath as she got ready to explain.
"Have… Have you ever knew something, like something really bad was going happen and you could have prevented it but instead you just laid back and did nothing about it?" Moonkek asked as she looked up at the older women.
Emily looked at the teen's troubled face seeing a mix of shame and guilt. She was wondering what could have had happened during Moonkek's outing to cause her stress. But she knew exactly what Moonkek was talking about since she always had this little problem when it came to guilt.
"Yes," Emily said.
Moonkek looked at her with slight hope and suprise in her eyes. She was hoping Emily would be able to give her advice about how to deal with this knowing guilt.
"How did you deal with it?" Moonkek asked earnestly.
Emily sighed and leaned backed against her chair.
"I did what everyone does. I mopped around for a while and got over it," Emliy said causally.
Moonkek blinked. "Just that?"
Emily nodded. "Just that."
Moonkek blinked and shook her head denying that getting over her guilt couldn't be that easy.
"It can't be that easy," Moonkek said voicing her own thoughts.
"It isn't," Emily said.
Moonkek just gave her a confused look not fully understanding and Emily sighed as she had to explain.
"This guilt your feeling is something I have to deal with every time I go on a mission." Moonkek still looked confused and Emily continued. "Think Moonkek, you know my job is to assassinate people weather they are good or bad. I have to deal with the fact that I am the one that will kill them and instead of taking matters into my own hands and going against the people I work for I… I just do as I'm told and kill them. That because…" Emily started to freeze in admitting her personal stuff. She was supposed to be telling her how she deals with her guilt but instead she was going way deeper in admitting her feelings. Why the hell was she doing this anyway?
Moonkek looked at Emily with curious and surprised eyes. She was surprised that Emily seemed to be slowly breaking down. It seems it wasn't that simple as Emily said in getting over guilt.
Even though she thought it wouldn't be a good idea to press Emily for more information she couldn't stop herself from asking.
"Because?"
Emily sucked in her breath and decided to tell her.
"I'm scared," Emily admitted with shame. She laughed a little out loud from embarrassment. "I bet you're probably confused on how this became from your problem to mine but I guess this is going be a life lesson for both of us."
Moonkek snorted and smiled a little hoping it would make the suddenly deep cloud of depression lighten some.
"You think?" She questioned.
Emily couldn't help but smile back.
Moonkek lay back against her chair and smiled some.
"Well just for the record I think you're the bravest person I know. I mean you say you're scared in disobeying your boss but you're already doing that by having me getting close to Elizabeth instead of you plus you're not even planning to go and assassinate Ciel so you're brave." Moonkek said with a smile. "And how you have to deal with the guilt almost all the time is way better than I could ever have. Your way stronger than anyone I have met so don't be scared Emily because you got nothing to be scared for anymore."
Emily was silent for a few long seconds before she busted out laughing.
"I guess you're right, it seems I didn't even realize I was already going against my boss." Emily gave Moonkek a warm smile. "Thank you for telling me that, but we should get back to your problem."
Moonkek blinked. "Eh? What problem?"
Emily smirked at her.
"Now, now, all of this talk about guilt started with your question and now you know what I'm feeling guilty about so." She leaned in and crossed her arms. "What are you feeling guilty about?"
Moonkek looked down and clenched her fists. She was quiet for a long time and Emily sighed.
"Okay you don't need to tell me but whatever your feeling guilt I want you to stop," Emily ordered.
"Stop?" Moonkek asked.
"Stop feeling guilty and yes I know it's hard to get over your guilt but you moping around won't get anything done. What is done is done; all we can do now is to continue with our lives and forgive ourselves," Emily looked at her sternly.
"So promise me whenever you feel guilty that you will get over it and continue with your life," Emily said.
Moonkek gulped and looked at her hands. "Isn't there a saying about don't make a promise you can't keep it?"
Emily chuckled. "Yes but those are the best kinds of promises because then you have to strive to keep the promise."
Moonkek looked uncertain but smiled.
"Okay I promise I will try my best to always get over my guilt." She stuck her pinky out and Emily did the same thing. The two hooked their pinky's together making the promise officially in a small pinky promise.
"I promise Emily."
Who knew that a small promise was all it took to make Moonkek happy.

"Can you stop pacing thin-stick?" Katmath asked.
The young teen was pacing in front of the doors of the mansion while Katmath, Mathkat and Emily sat or leaned against the hallways' walls. They were watching the nervous teen as she mumbled to herself and opened and closed her hands in nervousness.
She was dress in a light pink and hot pink dress. The parts of the dress that were light pink where the long sleeves that were covered with white gloves that went to her elbow and became frilly. The light pink fabric layered around her waist and went to the back and turned into a bow. The bottom half was hot pink and at the ends had white fabric sticking out. There was slit on the side where you could see much of the white, fluffy layered dress.
The hot pink cloth also made a v shape on her dress with black buttons on top. In the center of the v the fabric was light pink and had tiny buttons going down the middle and the top becoming hot pink again that went to her neck. The wig she wore was placed in a bun (she was forced to have the hair she used to cover her left eye move out of the way) and on top she wore a hot pink bonnet with a pink rose and bow on the side.
Her face was showed a mix of excitement, worry and nervousness. Four days ago Moonkek had gotten a letter from Lizzy saying that she was going to go to the Phantomhive manor for a party and wanted her to come with. Of course Moonkek said yes she would come since this was her chance meeting Ciel and explaining her situation to him (she still has no idea how he would be able to help her or even consider helping her). She was going through her head on different scenarios on how to approach Ciel with the matter. She was also trying to replay the episode of "Welcome to the Phantomhives" in her head trying to remember everything that would soon happen to her.
Emily watched the teen with a calculating eye, wondering what the teen was thinking.
"Shall we go over the plan again?" Emily asked.
Hearing Emily's voice snapped Moonkek out of her thought cloud.
"No. I know what I need to do. First get in the building then when I'm alone call your boss so he thinks you're doing your job then find the right moment to ask Ciel for help," Moonkek said. She then continued to pace.
"You shouldn't be so nervous,"Mathkat said. He gave Skim some cheese who was currently sitting on his head. Skim had taken quite a licking to the man and was almost always with him, Emily or Moonkek. He would always hiss or bite Katmath whenever the guy tried to pet him.
Moonkek gave Mathkat a look.
"Noooo, I'm pretty sure I should be nervous. I have to pretend to be an assassin and pretend to be a noblewoman. I'm going to a party that's taking place in the Queen's Watchdog's mansion and I'm going to be meeting Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis!" She stated and then started to smile from excitement from the idea of meeting Ciel in person (she didn't count seeing Ciel at the ball as meeting him). She wasn't sure if she should count Sebastian even though they danced; he was in disguised at the time after all.
Katmath gave Moonkek a curious look.
"Uhh, whose Sebastian?" He asked.
Moonkek smiled. "He's Ciel's hot-sexy butler."
Emily and Mathkat just sighed; they should have known that a hormonal teen would take interest in some kind of hot guy.
Katmath snorted and shrugged at his friends.
"Don't tell me you guys thought she wouldn't fall for some guy. She's a teen after all," said Katmath.
"You make it sound like you were never like this," Mathkat said with a small frown.
Katmath puffed out his chest.
"Ha! I was way more mature then her! I never fantasied about any girls or drool for them like thin-stick here," he said as he pointed at Moonkek.
She was indeed drooling but it wasn't about Sebastian. She was drooling at the thought that she would soon taste some Sebastian's fine cooking at the party.
A small smirk was starting to grow on Emily's face.
"Oh, you were? Now that I think about it, didn't you fall for a girl when you were sixteen?" Her smirk grew wider as she saw the younger adult start to blush. "Wasn't her name Lily? The girl who runs the flower shop? If I remembered correctly you were always sighing and writing poems about her."
Katmath's blush deepened.
"N-no, I don't remember any red head girl named Lily," he said nervously.
Mathkat was smirking by now.
"We never said anything about her being a red head."
Katmath's head snapped towards their direction and glared at them with his flushed face.
"Bastards," he said through closed teeth.
Both adults laughed at the young man's embarrassment.
Suddenly the all heard a carriage pull up to the mansion and Moonkek couldn't help but suck in her breath. Lizzy was here and that meant she was one step closer in meeting Ciel, one more step closer in asking the Queen's Watchdog for help in getting her home. Moonkek looked at the doors nervously her sudden excitement turning into a ball of worry. What of Ciel had no idea how to help her? What if she was stuck here permanently? Would she never get home?
Moonkek felt a comforting hand being placed on her shoulder and looked to see Emily smiling encouragingly.
"Don't worry everything will be fine," she said.
Moonkek nodded and gripped the mansion's door's handle and opened it.
I finally updated this fic! So happy for myself! I shortened this chapter but I will try to make the future chapters longer. Thank you all for reading this and I hope you are all still enjoying the story; this was sort of a fill in chapter. Anyway I hope you all look forward to next time!
