Sorry this took so long and its not as long as I wanted. I had projects, exams, Thanksgiving cooking, life issues, and shit like that. I feel like I've lost a few years of my life... and one of my Semester exams got erased so I have to fucking retake that in January, which means part of my Winter break which just started will be spent fucking studying for that shit, which means even less time for this story since I will be traveling. It also doesnt help that I'm with my ps3 again and just bought Revolutions so I got kinda distracted but thats only been for the past 2 days... and if u want to face me my PSN is STARBALLS. Yep that is my id. Also I think I might be becoming dyslexic. Which is also making things harder with typing and writing. Also I think I may finally need a mental evaluation. Because I started talking in second person. Wtf? I've heard of third person but second? I'm not even doing it on purpose. I am unstable with a multi-personality complex but I didn't think it would get to the point where I refer to my other sides publicly. It creeps people out. Doesn't help when I start laughing crazily too. I mean yeah sometimes I have conversations with my other sides but that was always in private! *shrugs* Oh well just makes me more unique. I blame Jump-galaxy. Which no one has shown up at yet... Come on guys if you want me to hurry up it would be good to go on that site and tell me as that site does distract me a lot. Though you won't have to worry about that as much for the next few weeks that I'm traveling. Also rane! I love the reviews And I like how you told me at least 4 times to hurry up but please make an account because I would like to respond to you so you don't have to think I quit the story. Its not that hard. Literally all I did when I made mine was log in with my Gmail and the site did the rest.

Chapter 17: Into Wave

The mission had been pretty boring so far... well for Naruto it was. Sure there were some bandits that they ran into but Naruto was even interested in wasting his time. Besides Sasuke and Kakashi took care of them just fine anyway. Though Naruto wanted to get to Wave faster so he goaded Sasuke's pride and how an Uchiha should not waste his time which in turn made said Uchiha get Kakashi to carry Tazuna as the took too the trees. Travel from there had been pretty much generic ninja hopping, through a few of them did notice that Jibril seemed to do it with a lighter step and still cover the same if not more distance with each bound. But what caught there attention the most was once again Naruto who was hoping across the tree branches... on his skateboard. He did kick-flips, 360s, and shove its with each bound. In fact Kakashi was sure he was upside-down for a few of those which didn't make any sense.

However instead of actually asking him what he was doing the two sharingan users felt the need to antagonize him to stroke their own ego's. The Uchiha chose this moment to speak out.

"Dobe you couldn't go on a mission without your toy?" He could sound smug all he wanted, Naruto's base shift didn't care... at the moment.

Naruto lazily glanced at him and drawled, "what are you getting on about now Uchiha?"

Sasuke was somewhat miffed at how Naruto didn't even rise to the jab and just looked at him without interests. What made it worse his how even with Naruto's eyes not directed forward he was still jumping across the trees on his skateboard without looking, and still doing tricks!

"Hn, you must not be able to keep pace with us so you have to use that toy to keep up."

"*Blinks*This is an exercise..."

"Yeah right you liar. I bet as soon as you go without it you would lag behind. But we wouldn't even slow down for losers right Kakashi-sensei?"

Kakashi looked over at the too with disinterest trying to make it look like it wasn't taxing for him to carry Tazuna on his back through the trees. "Sasuke leave him alone, if his legs aren't strong enough to keep up then let him use his to," he drawled out as he made eye contact with Naruto at the end, and flinched when he did so. Naruto had an ominous glow in his eyes as he looked at Kakashi when he heard that backhanded insult. He grinned under his scarf as he dismissed it.

'Fine then.' He did a twist in the air as he caught his board under one arm. He crouched onto the next branch he landed on and the two Sharingan users smirked to themselves for a second thinking that he really was lagging behind, but it was wiped off their faces a second later. They heard a low boom and then felt wind cut by them and saw Naruto had rocketed forward. That very second that Naruto past them his eyes locked with them showing single cross-haired glowing pupils and they felt a wild grin. He ricochetted forward of the sides of trunks and in every direction in a zig zag pattern as he went forward. Each bounce he left a burst of sparks and cracks were he made contact.

Within 10 seconds the were already losing track of him and had to speed up their own pace. They thought he was being a try hard and would quickly tire himself out but the vastly underestimated his stamina. Jibril had sped up as will to try to catch up but one stayed a little ahead of Kakashi since she could only go so fast in here current position, plus she would tire out faster than Naruto and she wasn't all that concerned anyway. If something happened then Kukamu was there with him. 10 minutes later Naruto had put maybe a few miles between him and the group. He did one last bound and rocket forward out to a clearing in the path. He can down to the ground and put his board under him so he could catch the momentum before he slid to a stop. He rolled smoothly and went through a puddle along the way and stumbled.

*Splash* "Ahh!" Naruto skid to a stop and looked back to see what he hit as he took a deep breath. He may have enormous stamina but even that little bit of sub-element he wasn't use to using for that long so the strain got to him a little.

As soon as he turned around his eyes widened as a bladed chain came straight at his face and sent him skidding back with his feet leaving a trail in the dirt. The two assaulters used their connected chain to decapitate Naruto as the kept running forward. They suddenly jerked back as the chain snagged. They turned to look at Naruto who simply had his hands in his pockets as he leaned back at a strange angle to look at them with a cockily grin showing them that the chain had caught by his sharp white canines. Then the tug of war began and Naruto lurched and leaned forward pulling them by the change towards him. He took out one hand and pointed it out behind him at one of the rogue nin. His palm started to bleed as he gained a crazed gleam in his cross-haired eyes. His arm tensed and out shot long bloody metal shards from his palm. Then nin looked shocked and quickly stepped out of the way but not without taking a shard through his shoulder. He yelped in pain from the wound and from the blood that coated the metal burning him like acid.

The other nin never stopped going towards Naruto as he had his clawed gauntlet ready to impale and gut Naruto. He already had it out for the brat for breaking part of his face mask and nose with that skateboard.

*Clang* The nin's gauntlet was blocked by Naruto's own. Naruto didn't even need to look to catch the hand.

"Wha-"

"You guys are slow." He twisted on his feat and kicked the nin in the stomach hard before twisting again and landing a second on his chest hard. He felt the ninja's ribs crack from the force. Then he stomp hard on the ground with a low boom and a pulse of energy went up his body and to his foot right when he conected a third kick on the guy's solar plexus. The impact sent out a small ring of energy and a burst of sparks as he coughed up blood from having his organs mashed. He went flying. Naruto wasn't haveing that though as he pulled back on the chain with both hands not caring that one wasn't armored and was getting cut into by the blades. The ninja's body was pulled back to Naruto and his crosshairs flashed a split second before he quickly move his arms in a variety of patterns with the chain. When the nin came back he flew through the chain and had been effectively tied around the midsection with his torso pinned to his sides. Naruto went over and put his foot on the guy's back as he pulled the chain. He screamed out as the blades sunk deeper into his flesh securing their hold.

"Brother!" The other nin ran at Naruto with one arm limp from the wound. He tried to swipe but Naruto just power stomped him in the stomach with a pulse of energy sending him tumbling several meters until he hit a tree. His organs were damaged and it hurt to move as he slipped into unconsciousness.

"Argh!" The nin snapped awake at the sound and looked at the cause of it.

"What are you doing?!" He shouted at Naruto since the kid had hoisted his brother up by the chain going over the branch of a tree so that he was held up like a pinata.

Naruto to out a white rod from his pocket that grew into a staff.

"Hmhmhm now tell me what I want to know..."

"Fuck you!"

*Crunch!* "Rahh!" Naruto swung his staff at the ninja's jaw, breaking it and rendering him mute.

"Wrong answer." Naruto turned his head over to the other ninja who had woken up and was propped against a tree.

"Maybe you can answer my questions?"

"Screw you kid!" *Smack!* Naruto swung the staff at the hanging ninja again this time at where the chain tied around him causing the blades to cut into him more. The other one tried to stop Naruto when he saw this.

*Schink!* Several more metal shards shot out of Naruto's hand and into the other's body. He screamed in pain as they went though his knees and pinned his other arm to the trunk. Naruto's own blood continued to seep down the metal into his wounds burning the poor nin even more.

"Arrgh you bastard!" Naruto just grinned back at him.

"Ah ah ahhh I want my questions answered."

"G-go to hell!" Naruto deadpanned before swinging his staff back at the tied up nin's midsection causing the chain to cut even deeper as he screamed out in pain. The brother quickly rethought his words in fear of his siblings safety. He shut his eyes and shouted out.

"Wa-wait I'll tell you!"

*Whump* Another blow hit the tied up nin on the chains causing him to grunt louder in pain as more and more blood went everywhere.

"Ara ara talk faster if you want to save your brother~." The look in Naruto's eye had turned sadistic.

"W-we were after the bridge builder!"

*Whump!* "Mmm!"

"Not what I want to know..."

"We were hired by Gato!"

*Whump!* "Mmm!"

"H-he is a shipping magnate- *Whump!* "Who seeks to control wave country!"

*Whump!* Naruto was grinning crazily at hearing the nin's panicked voice at hearing his brothers grunts of pain that he started swinging more wildly as blood went everywhere even getting on him in the process.

"H-h-he has a drug dealing business!" *Whump!*

"H-he wants to stop the bridge-" *Whump!* "Because it will-" *Whump!* "Setback his efforts-" *Whump!* "At monopolizing-" *Whump!* "The country!"

*Whoosh SPLRRRTTTT!* "Ara looks like you ran out of time~."

The nin opened his eyes at that last sound and wished hadn't as that last blow had hit the bladed chain though the rest of his body bifurcating his brother at the midsection as blood flew in the air. The chain had also gruesomely cut through his arms until they fell to the ground. The chain was only holding him up now because it was grabbing the exposed section of the spine that was still keeping the 2 halves of the body together. Looking at the tortured ninja's eyes... he was already dead.

The other ninja cried in rage. "Raaaaaaaaahhhhh! WHYYYYYYY?! I told you everything!" Naruto just smirked and licked some of the blood off the staff in a...questionable way. He walked to the crying ninja and grabbed his face to hoist him up to eye level causing damage to his pinned limbs. Naruto bit his lip in an effort not to laugh in insanity.

"Pfft I just wanted to know who you were."

The ninja despite the pain blinked at him. 'What!?' "You only wanted to know that! Why didn't you say so!?"

"Hehehe I thought it was obvious~." Naruto grabbed his neck and squeezed.

"But I guess the world will have to be without the Demon Brothers now~."

'! He knew who we were from the beginning?!' "Y-you b-bastard!"

"Aww but this is fun~." Naruto clanked the fingers of his other armored hand and gave a demonic smile. "For me!"

*2 minutes later*

Kakashi in the group had been left behind a little ways back by Naruto's speed. Bur from what Kakashi could sense, they were only seconds away from him. They had finally caught up with him and when they saaw what was in the path they wished they hadn't. Looking at the gore and carnage caused Sakura and Tazuna to vomit instantly. Even Sasuke was struggling to not look like anything more than a little sick. Sai just mentally increased Naruto's threat level and was going to be even more wary around him from now on.

Kakashi was frightened and dumbfounded. 'He was only maybe 5 minutes ahead of us! How did he even have enough time to do all of this?!' Sure enough the was a mangled partially bisected body that was limp on chain that looked to be tied around its spine. At the other end the chain was wrapped around another person's neck, the blades cutting deep into the flesh as blood had poured out coating the rest of the body in its fluids. And just to make sure that person was dead, a crude cut had been made at the midsection allowing the intestines and stomach acid to pool out on the floor beneath it.

The only one fairly unaffected by this scene was Jibril who looked more like she was studying the scene and mentally saving it for later with a look of fascination on her face.

"Heheheheh..." Everyone flinched at the unstable undertone in the voice. Naruto was sitting right there on the ground facing the tortured bodies with blood coating his form. He tilted his head back at the group and they grew apprehensive at the wild look in his violet slit eyes.

"Wanna play?"

AN: Yep thats that. Sorry this was shorter than i wanted and this took longer than I wanted. This was the first chapter that I was at a road block with. Not because I didn't know what I wanted to do but because my typing went so slow that with the little time I actually had I hardly typed anything... Really this chapter was supposed to go till the first fight with Zabuza... but it was taking too long and since I will be traveling in a few days to a remote location there was no guareentee that I would even finish in time so this felt like the only other place I could stop. Now I have planned the Zabuza part for a while and I know exactly what I'm gonna do. You can try to guess but I will enjoy telling you that you are wrong. You just have to wait till next chapter before you can start with guesses. Also each of Naruto's shifts have at least one unique ability... that is unique to them over the other shifts. For Azazel its warping over short distances. What is his base forms? You have to wait for chunin exams for that one as it might change. As for Zegar? Well you will see his when we have the Zabuza fight. I hope to have Wave done in 2 chapters minimum or 4 chapters at most and there might also be a lemon or 2... Anyway yea I cant say for sure when the next chapter will come out. Since christmas is close and im not even in my dorm right now I won't have much time, along with my exam issue. But I won't make you guys wait as long as you did for this chapter especially since its short so thats less than a month.
