Thank you guys so much for your sweet reviews…As always they mean the world to me! Okay…so as you know I am going updating mad…JoJo will be proud…LOL Okay so this is a little odd. I was totally lost on what happened next lol…So last night at 4 in the morning, inspiration struck. LOL Sooo that being said I am FINALLY updating this. As I said this is going to be an odd story…I don't even know how long its going to be, some humor, some romance, and as always some drama too. LOL I just got the this chapter straight! LOL Some parts may sound like I am copying Red Breath…but I'm not…so I just wanted to get that out there… So with all that here we go…LOL
Teresa was a frantic mess hearing the words "there's been an accident, we think you may want to come to the scene."
She had to try to keep calm in all the chaos . Teresa was five months expecting, she couldn't loose their little baby girl. As she rubbed her hand over their little one, she cried and thought: "What happened if she lost him?"
She drove as carefully as she could in the horrible weather. Trying to focus on her husband and her baby…
When she finally arrived at the scene her heart stopped at the site…her car he was in. The glass, the blood, the crunched up metal…but one thing she looked frantically for as she looked over the scene trying to make the image make sense…Patrick was no where to be found…
Teresa walked up to Cho who was currently in the same frame of mind she was…lost…
"Cho, I don't understand, was he thrown out?" The words cut her, the images cut even more. She needed to know where her husband was…she already knew he was hurt, how could he not be?
"I don't understand either boss…this is what I found. I was told there was a horrific sound, it sounded like a car crash…when we arrived this is what we found. Open door, blood glass and blood on the road. That's it. Where trying to figure out if he was kidnapped, or just walked away."
Teresa was so upset and prayed he would be able to walk away from such a mess.
"I'm going to walk around a bit, maybe I can I help or at least try to help."
Cho offered her a smile, he knew the shape she was in… she shouldn't be here at all…but it was Grace who said they should call her, because when Patrick didn't show up at their apartment she would be worried…although this wasn't what they were expecting.
Cho sighed then spoke to Wayne who was just as lost… "There has to be something we've missed."
"I know…I hope he is okay…this doesn't look good man…by all rights he should have been killed on impact. But where is he? Was he took? Who ran in him…an enemy of Patrick, angry at him for killing Red John?"
"I don't know Rigsby…I hope it was an accident, and not on purpose. He should be here." Cho shook his head clearly irritated by the situation.
"Hey Rigsby, keep an eye on boss."
Wayne nodded in agreement as they searched for any clues, their minds wondered to what was going on in theirs friends mind as he was hit…
Patrick awoke to hear a rather annoying sound to his ears, the horn still going on.
"Uh…what on earth happened?" He thought out loud. He looked around at his surroundings: "Where am I?" He looked at his hands blooded, and cut up…then he smiled at the site on his left hand, his wedding ring. He gently ran his fingers over it. "She'll know what to do, she'll help me, I have to find her."
With that thought, Patrick managed slowly to unbuckle feeling a bit dizzy from the concussion he now owned. The blood that covered him didn't seem to bother him, it was unnoticed. He crawled out painfully and regained his footing. His head was killing him.
His shoulder and arm hurt badly: "Ah…broken… yep, I need to find my wife, she'll know what to do."
He just started walking. Rain poured, lighting, thunder, hail, wind whipping…he just kept walking and humming…completely unaware of where on earth was going…
Teresa tried to stay calm, but it hard. Right at the moment of thinking the worst and what to do, her little one kicked her. Teresa smiled and cried. She thought she would be still were she was so stressed, but in this case her little one must have known that mommy needed to feel her.
Teresa got some refuge from the storm for a minute to talk to her little baby: "Hey sweetheart, I needed that you know? I love you so much, I'm so scared right now. I don't know where daddy is. You keep me straight for him, okay?" She gently wrapped both her arms around her tummy, feeling their little baby wiggle as she kept calm trying to feel her, not the terrifying thoughts that plagued her mind. Soon she stilled, Teresa smiled as she knew their little girl was ok, and helping her greatly.
Teresa kept walking around, trying to find anything that said fowl play…she just couldn't find anything, it was like he walked right out of the car. She smiled at the thought…She hoped dearly that was what had happened…
The night was long…and no clues. Teresa was exhausted, but didn't want to give up the search. She was also hungry. If it had been just her, she couldn't have ate anything, but beings now she had a baby inside, she had to eat. She knew Patrick would want to have something healthy for them both…only thing was there wasn't much but some cheese nips in her car…she nibbled on them, not really wanting them, she hoped she didn't get sick. She drank some water with them. When she got the the office she would eat some dinner that Patrick had bought there for her to have when "they got hungry" she smiled at the thought as she wondered where her husband was.
Soon it was 4am…and nothing else in the weather could be found. So with that they brought the car in to have another going over and headed to the office. As soon as she arrived she got her breakfast and made a cup of chamomile tea to relax her nerves.
IT seemed like her baby was more excited about eating that she was, but she was going to eat for them…her nerves were shot, but she was going to try…
It smelled so good…yet she felt sick at the same time. She took a deep breath as she set to her desk and began to eat. She smiled as she remembered him cooking this…just yesterday…
"Patrick your make me gain 200 pounds you know that?" She laughed as he cooked.
He smiled and laughed back at her as he cooked lasagna: "Well my dear, that just means I will have more of you to love." He tucked a stray hair behind her ear, slowly ran his fingers down to her neck, and gently kissed her.
"I love you, I love her. I just want to make sure your getting the nutrition you both need."
She smiled at him as he got on his knees in front of her, gently caressing her tummy feeling their little girl playing. Patrick ran his fingers over Teresa's hand as he spoke…
"I never knew I would be a daddy again." His eyes filled. "I still can't believe it Teresa." He said as he smiled up at her.
Then he placed his head to her tummy and listened. Teresa gently ran her hands through soft curls. As he kissed her tummy. She loved being a wife and now a mommy…She was thankful he was happy when she told him…she was scared at first, not know how he would take it, but he was so happy he couldn't hold it in…
Teresa's eyes filled as she ate, and rubbed her left hand over her tummy, feeling their little one wiggle a bit.
She talked to her little baby as they ate: "Tastes good huh?" Leave it to daddy to feed us good."
She was so worried…she eyed their wedding picture on her desk…and gently stroked his face: "Where are you my Patrick?"
Okay, so here's another update for you guys…hope you like it…Please read and review
