Harry sighed as they sat in the Gryffindor Common Room, Ron was Seamus's Laptop doing some 'research' this research required Ron to break into the Battle City 3 Database, they were looking at the people who were already qualified, names were shown along with Ace Monsters and Duel Rating, out of curiousity Harry asked Ron to look him up.

''Sure, ah here, Harry James Potter, 11 years old, lives in London, skilled but doesn't think out of the box, 4 star rating, and your Ace Card is Blue-Eyes, and here is Ronald Weasley! 4 star rating! Quite a tactician, Signature Card is Brotherhood of the Fire Fist: Tiger King.''

''What! How the hell am I not a out of the box thinker? I'm very creative.'' Harry raged, and Ron merely chuckled and closed the Laptop.

''They haven't qualified yet, and even if they are going to qualify I doubt it will be under real-names, and they are probaly waiting till the last second, but let's go and patroll the you-know-where.''

And Harry nodded, they had been trusted to guard a ancient stone know as The Stone of Ra, a object with powers beyond anyone's imagination and there were people lurking who wanted to use the Stone's power for their own gain, but they had been given a card each and if it really came down to it, these cards would be used together and the problem would hopefully be solved.

Hermione, still in the infirmary, she had been exausted from using her Shadow Powers and Harry couln't blame her, she had done it on instinct when the invader had wanted to take her monsters and maybe her life.

And with those somber thought in mind, they left the Common Room.

They walked through the silent corridors and waited until they even heard the littlest of whispers, they arrived at the 3rd floor Corridor, still silent, until.

Running! Someone was running away from the boys and the quickly followed, eventually leaving the school and following the stranger to the Forbidden Forest, and as the ran and ran, the person had seemingly disappeared.

''Where did he go Ron?,'' Harry asked panting loudly after the long run, and when the anwser came it didn't come from Ron.

''He ran into a portal.''

Harry and Ron yelped and jumped around, scared as hell, but the fear quickly disappeared once they see Professor Ishtar with his kind smile.

''I was chasing the same man as you guys were, I heard Dumbledore ordered you two to protect the Stone, do you have it with you or do you jsut guard it?''

As Harry wanted to anwser, Ron put a shaking hand against his chest, the boy's skin was as pale as a ghost's.

''H-a-Harry don't anwser the question, l-look at his eyes, Red, Professor Ishtar has purple eyes, and remember what Professor Dumbledore said? Someone in the staff is leaking information and I think this guy is the one! Tell me! What have you done with Professor Ishtar! You Imposter what have you done!,'' Ron roared and Hrry quickly put two and two together, and realised what Ron was saying was true.

Marik first looked shocked, then sad, and then a vicious smirk came on his face,''HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, foolish little Ronald can actually think logically? I have no doubt you'll perform well in your on you're D.E's(Dueling Examinations) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh but those are 4 years from now and you boys won't make it that far, you're right Ronald I am the Mole, the fault in the plan, but what are wrong about is that I am a imposter, I am Marik Ishtar! But I work with a magic far more ancient and pure than any of that diluted magic thought here!''

And while ranting Marik's hair had somehow become spikier and the same eye that had sorted Harry in Gryffindor was now glowing on his forehead, and his voice sounded so strange, so evil and like two voices speaking over eachother and these disgusting veins were bulging on the side of his face.

''This was a trap wasn't it? You brought us here so you could kill us, nobody will now, you'll probably bury our bodies and you'll return to the castle and take the stone for yourselve,'' Harry said in a tone which sounded like he was realising that death was upon them.

''Bingo little Harry, you two are going to be victims, Brave Gryffindors, missing, I can see that being in the Daily Prophet hahahahahahahahahha!'' Marik cackled evilly and as he cackled a dark fog was settling around them, A Shadow Duel, just great.

''I would rather kill both of you but that would leave blood and I would then get caught,so I'll send you both to the Shadow Realm! I begin with summoning Great Sorcerer of The Necroz! ATK/1500/DEF/800! And I set this card, your turn boys''

Harry snarled and looked at his hand, This Nekroz monster, he had never even heard of it, so maybe it could cause trouble,''Alright then Marik, first I summon Bujin Yamato!ATK/1800/DEF/200 And then I'll put down this card face-down, you're going down Marik!,'' Harry yelled and Ron nodded with him, their teacher seemed mildly amused at their feeble attempts to win and prepared for his turn.

''HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA, little Harry has a backbone huh? Well let's how much of that is over after this little card! I play the Ritual Spell Card Nekroz Kaleidoscope! With this card I get to sacrifice a monster in my extra deck and and one in the field so I can summon a greater monster from my hand! From my exra deck I tribute Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand! And from the field I reveal my face down A Legendary Ocean, this card demotes all water monsters by one level making my wizard a 3-star monster, now both go to the graveyard and let me reveal to you a monster of strength neither of you hold in your decks! Rise, Nekroz of Sophia!ATK/3600/DEF/3400! I'll put two cards face-down,''

And there she stood a graceful being who looked innocent despite her great power and demise she would be instrumental to.

''Now your turn Ronald! Beat that!,''

If Ron looked nervous before the duel started he now looked scared out of his mind.

''C'mon Ron you can do this don't let Marik scare you into submission, together we can beat him!,'' Harry encouraged and Ron seemed too regain control over his fears.

''Alright Marik, let's see you survive this, I first summon Brotherhood of The Fire-Fist: Bear! ATK/1600/DEF/1200 and next I put down two face-downs and I play this card Gold Sarcophagus! I banish one card from my deck and on my next turn I get to add this to my hand!,''

Harry watched as a huge gold sarcophagus appeared on the field and a card went in, Harry wondered what kind of card Ron would have that were meant to protect them, Sophia was strong as all hell.

''Aaah good memories of that card, did you put a Winged Dragon of Ra in?,'' Marik asked and Harry and Ron didn't even anwser that, they knew what he was talking about.

''Now then, let's continue! I draw! And man I just keep getting lucky! I first summon Manju of the Ten-Thousand hands and that allows me to pick a Ritual Spell Card from my deck and add it to my hand! And I choose an other Nekroz Kaleidoscope! And now I sacrifice Manju and from my extra deck I sacrifice Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and now I get to summon Nekroz of Valkyrus!ATK/2900/DEF/1700, and then I attack Yamato with Sophia!.''

''Not so fast Marik I reveal my trap card Mirror Force!'' Harry yelled and to their horrific surprise Mrik laughed.

''No you shouln't be so fast little Harry, activate Trap Jammer!,'' and Marik's face-down canceled Harry's and Yamato was hit, being destroyed and the boy's taking 1800 points in damage.

Harry and Ron: 2200

Marik: 4000

''Damnit... Ron, this deck of his, it actually relies on Ritual Monsters.''

''I know, I haven't seen that in my entire life, my mom always said that Ritual Monsters are a thing of the past, but screw that, beat him real good Potter.''

''I will, alright Marik reveal face-down! Call of the Haunted, I now get Yamato back, and with him back on the field I will sacrifice both of them in order to summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon!'' And the large white dragon appeared with it's powerful 3000 ATK Pts.'' And next I'll play the Spell-Card, Titanium Factory, my monster can now upgrade to become Platinum-Eyes Titanium Dragon!ATK/2000/DEF/2000''

And there stood the powerful Dragon with it's blinding skin and blinding eyes. And Marik started laughing,'' A fairly powerful monster Potter but how is this a upgrade? Blue-Eyes was way stronger,''

''That's what you think Professor Ishtar, but check this out, I sacrifice a 1000 Lifepoints, and I discard my hand and draw a new one for every monster in my hand my monster's attack points double and I have 5!,''

Platinum-Eyes Titanium Dragon/ATK/100,000

''You're done for Marik! Attack with Titanium Blast!,''

And Marik seemed utterly relaxed as the attack shot toward Valkryus.'' Reveal Trap-Card Mirror Force!'' And just like that The Monster was destroyed, 100,000 attack points still not enough, was the end near?

''Grrr Potter, you actually screwed up our life points, I refuse to die for your mistakes, the card I put away it'll help us win the duel, just you wait,''

''C'mon Ronnie you really think one card is going to turn this around? Think again! I attack with Sophia!,''

''No you won't, Negate Attack,'' Ron calmly proclaimed and the Trap-Card was revealed forcing Marik to end his turn and scowl.

''Alright Marik if this card doens't do you in I don't know what will!'' Ron said loudly.
