Tris and Tobias Lover

Tobias POV

3 months later ( Riley is almost a year old. Realize she is Divergent like her parents, so she develops faster )

Today is mine and Tris's anniversary. I have a whole weekend planned, that Tris does not know about. I have already packed for the both of us and Riley to go to Chris and Will's while we have a weekend alone, like we talked about earlier. Tris is currently out on a run, claiming she needs to loose her baby fat. I think she is having figure issues again, and I am hoping this weekend with me will help her to realize she is perfect. Me and Riley are wrapping the gift I got Tris. Riley is having fun with the box we are going to put it in I almost just want to give her the box. I laugh as I take a picture of Riley in the box. I text Tris the picture with a caption of

Hurry your gift is waiting :)

She responded seconds later.

On my way

I quickly finished wrapping the gift and put it in the trunk of the car. But I have something up my sleeve with that. Tris walks in the door minutes later picking up Riley.

"Hi, cutie. I loved that picture, and I love you." Riley kissed Tris and hugged her.

"Hey babe." I said giving Tris a quick kiss.

"I could a lot more of that." Tris said smiling at me.

"Well if you take a shower and get dressed for the day, you just might." I say taking Riley from her. She smiles and runs up stairs to our bedroom. I sit on the floor with Riley and get my phone out. I start to record Riley.

"Riley you are so pretty." She just smiles.

"Riley do you love mommy?" She nods her head. She is so smart.

"Riley do you love daddy?" She nods her head faster.

"Riley do you love Chris?" We have been spending a lot more time with the group and she has all of them wrapped around her little finger. She smiles and nods.

"Riley do you love Will?" She nods again.

"Do you love Zeke?" She smiles and slightly nods.

"Do you Shauna?" She nods.

"Do you love Marlene?" She smiles and nods while laughing. Marlene is like her best friend.

"Do you love Uriah?" She shakes her head no. I start laughing.

"That's ok daddy doesn't either." I laugh harder.

"I love you Riley." She smiles and blows me a kiss. I blow her a kiss back.

"Riley who do you love?" I say knowing I won't get an answer.

"Daddy." She says surprising me.

"What?" I say, my voice breaking.

"Riley who else do you love?" I say, hoping she will say mommy because I know Tris will be devastated if she doesn't.

"Mommy." She says smiling at me.

"Oh my gosh Riley you just said your first words." I stop the recording and throw my phone on the ground. I pick Riley up, hearing Tris get out of the shower, I run up. "Tris! Tris!" I yell. She comes running out of our room only in a towel. I stop and look at her.

"What!" She says looking scared.

"Riley just said her first words." I say smiling, snapping back to reality.

"What? Really?" She says.

"Riley who do you love?" I ask Riley again.

"Daddy." Riley says smiling at me. Tris smiles and kisses her cheek.

"Who else do you love?" I say knowing Tris will love this part.

"Mommy." Riley says pointing at Tris.

"Riley! Oh my gosh." Tris says picking Riley up. Her towel starts to fall and I catch it. "Thank you Tobias." She says looking at me.

"I'll take her, get dressed." I say excitedly. Tris goes back into the bed room. I run back down stairs. I sit where I was before handing Riley her play softball toys. I grab my phone and send the video to everyone; Tris, Chris, Will, Zeke, Shauna, Marlene, and Uriah. Almost instantly I get responses.

"Tobias you got it on video." Tris yells coming down the stairs.

"Yes I did, kay get your shoes on and grab your purse." I said while picking up Riley.

"Tobias, what's going on." Tris asks while doing what I am saying. I grab my wallet, keys, phone, and then Tris' hand. I lead her outside and lock the front door. I return to Tris and walk her to the car. I open her door and close it once she is in. I open the back and set Riley in her car seat. I then go to my side, getting in the drivers seat. I take off for Chris and Will's.

We pull up their driveway 15 minutes later. I get out and open the trunk. Tris gets Riley out. I get Riley's bag and take Tris's free hand. We walk up to the door. I knock, and with in seconds Chris is at the door beckoning us in. We go in, getting hugs from Chris and Will. I set the bag down by the couch and take Riley from Tris. Tris looks at me confused. I kiss Riley.

"I love you Riley, we will see you soon." I say then kiss her again. I hand her back to Tris. Tris kisses Riley and hugs her. She hands her off to Chris. Chris and Riley walk us to the door.

"Ok, you two have fun. But hey you make cute kids, another one wouldn't be that bad." She says tapping Riley's nose.

"Chris why don't you and Will make one." I say pointing at Will.

"Trust me, I'm trying too." Chris says smiling. I just laugh and open Tris's door. She waves bye to Riley and we pull out of the drive way.

"Tobias what is going on?" Tris asks confused.

"Ok, you have waited long enough. Surprise! We are having an alone weekend in honor of our first wedding anniversary. You and me two days in a beach house alone. No Riley, no annoying friends. Just us." I say taking her hand and kissing it.

"Tobias have I ever told you I love you." She says smiling at me.

"Yes, but I would to hear it again." I say laughing a little.

"Tobias, I love you."
