We sit on the tree, staring off into the sunset. "Why exactly are you in Sora's heart?" Ventus asks.

"I died...I'm a replica of him made from his memories."

"You're in a different boat than I then." He looks down at the sand underneath his feet. Both of us stand on the sands near the docks. There are no boats, but it is still present.

"How long have you been here anyways, looking at that endless sea by yourself?"

"About eleven years now." Ventus takes out a thing that was made out of green glass and in the shape of a flower. It reminds me of the charm Kairi had in all of the memories that I took away. "If this wasn't with me, I would've gone mad from isolation."

"I guess you're lucky. The person who gave that to you must have really loved you, so that light will shine even in here."

"Aqua, Terra...I wonder about how they are every moment. Something must have gone wrong. If there wasn't anything, then Aqua would had already saved me. She promised me, so I'm worried." He holds up the charm and hugs it. There are tears forming in his sky blue eyes, but he forcefully pushed them back. "All I know is that all of us have changed since that fateful day of the Mark of Mastery. So, Xion, do you have anything special?"

"Of course!" I feel around my pockets for my shell. It isn't there. "No...did it not come with me?" Then I can feel the ground underneath us shake. Ventus quickly puts his charm into his back pocket and grabs onto the docks.

"This is unusual? What exactly is going on here?" questions Ventus.

"Ven, you seriously don't know. That means it has to be something new." The ground surrounding us quickly turns into darkness and stings our feet. I can hear a roar from somewhere. We try to escape the darkness, but it takes a hold of us. Ventus and I become paralyzed, covered in the void.

"No Vanitas!" Ven shouts. To my relieve, the darkness vanishes into thin air. Ventus is on the ground, clutching his chest, and I run over to check up on him.

"Now, let's see, what can we do?" He stares at me, but I pay no attention. I then grab his hands and put them off him without Ventus rebelling. "See, you can trust me. Plus, if something bad did happen, I can protect myself. I'm more powerful than I look, you know?"

"That's good. I'm just worried about the darkness overtaking me, so I guess you can help that." Ventus hugs me, and I blush. "You're the only one here that I can rely on...and hurt. Let's just be careful, okay?"

"Sure thing, Ven!" I wrap around my arms against his waist as well. His chest is warm like Roxas', so that is another thing those two have in common. They are like long lost twin brothers. "The thing we don't need right now is even more lost of everything."

"That's right." Suddenly, he passes out. I allow him to rest on my shoulder when I realize I am sleepy too. I close my blue eyes and allow myself to drift into the mysterious world of sleep.
