I worry for Ventus. His expression shows me that he does too. "Well, what should we do now? I wonder what's over there-" Before I could say anything else, I feel something fall onto my back. My face meet with the sand, landing on my drawing. The sand tastes awful, so I try to spit it out of my mouth.

"What the..." Ven wonders. I can't see anything. It seems like a person is on top of me, and this thing is hurting my back. "Who in the worlds are you? I'm Ventus, but you can call me Ven if you want to."

"Roxas..." I forced myself up, so my friend fell on the sand. Roxas lands on his butt. "Why does he look exactly like me?"

"So, this is Roxas. It's a pleasure to meet you then," says Ven.

"How does this person know my name? Oh wait, I just said it..." Roxas questions while getting on his legs. Ventus falls on the floor again, and we both rush to him. His eyes are now closed.

"It's happening again. Of all times, it has to be when we've to actually explain something. Crap, this isn't good at all!" I take deep breaths and Roxas stares, clearly confused. "You just need to fight it...Remember, take deep breaths and stay calm." His outfit changes. Ventus' eyes transform to golden ones when they finally open.

"What..." Roxas gets hit by a keyblade in his confusion. He is still awake, but Roxas looks like he's suffering. Ventus' new keyblade has one thing that catches my attention, two demon eyes. The rest of it is mostly black, red, and covered in chains. "Xion-" The nobody faints.

"You remember my name!" I shout. Even if I have bigger things to worry about, just the simple act of having my name called out brings a smile on my face. "Back to the matter at hand, I guess you're Vanitas. That's an interesting keyblade you got there."

"Ventus must've told you about me." Vanitas attempts to strike me, but I summon my keyblade. With it, I block his move from above me. He suddenly vanishes. My opponent hits me in the back when I'm looking around.

"So...you're that type of fighter." I keep myself from falling on the ground. Vanitas is getting ready to attack me once again, yet I bet him to the chase. "Sorry Ventus!" Turning my body, my keyblade hits the rib cage of Vanitas.

"Goddam-"

"Give Ventus his heart back, you freak!" I command. "Or, I'm going to have to keep on fighting you."

"Idiot, Ventus' heart is inside that thing, not me, so that's impossible," he retorts, smiling. It isn't like Ventus' smile, and this one is more sadistic yet broken. Then, out of nowhere, Vanitas only purposely cut off a bit of my hair. Because of its new color, I wonder about why it is grey. Vanitas drops onto the sands. His outfit turns into Ventus' again, so I forget about my mysterious hair.

"Ventus, Ventus, open your eyes!" Right after I say that, I see Ventus' beautiful blue eyes open. "Please, I don't want to lose another friend! You just need to open your eyes, nothing special."

"Xion, one of your eyes are yellow."
