Axel...I start to cry over my dead friend. "He didn't deserve this even if he was loyal to the Organization!" I shout. Then I realize I am no longer in Sora's heart, but in the real world, sitting where Sora was. Roxas is right next me, but he is saying nothing. Without giving it much thought, Roxas summons a corridor of darkness.
"Xion...I'm going to fight Sora."
"Are you insane? Ventus is still in there...probably, and I won't let you-"
"I'm going to test him, not hurt him. This is to see if Axel's death was in vain or not." Roxas leaves. I attempt to run after him, but his corridor disappears.
"What am I going to do?" The darkness inside me is hurting my heart, so I'm in no condition to do anything at this second. "Ventus! Ventus, if you can hear me, shout out, do something!" After I yell those words, Ventus lands right on top of me, making my head collide with the loopy-looking ground.
"Why in the worlds am I here?" he questions. "I thought my body was at my home. Oh, sorry Xion."
"Ven...what are we going to do now?" Both of us stay silent. It's awkward, but part of me likes this moment.
"First, I'm going to get off your back, and then we can see what happened to my friends. Considering...yeah, that just happened. Sorry for your lost." There's less pressure on my back now, so I get up. There's nothing around us, even Axel's portal vanished.
"It's okay. At least he can be his somebody again," I respond, holding back tears. All the memories of eating ice cream on the bell tower with Axel flow into the front of my mind. You gotta think for yourself. Cuz I know you're not just a puppet. We're best friends. You, me, and Roxas that is. Got it memorized? After that, I fall onto my knees, sobbing. Ventus comes down with me, and, to my surprise, hugs me tightly to his chest. I hear his heart pounding. That means Roxas gave it back.
"You don't have to act so tough all the time." I continue crying, trusting his words. I can feel the darkness having less of a grip on my heart now. "If you do that, it'll only make you weaker."
"I guess you do now more about the heart than me, for I'm only a year old. You're..."
"In my twenties."
"Wow, you look young for your age."
"You look old for your age," Ven retorts. I laugh a little bit, so he smiles. We pull ourselves off of each other and get up.
"So...how are we going to search for your friends?" My blonde friend takes out his charm again, and he puts it to his pale chest.
"My wayfinder can show us the way." It begins to glow, and a light coming out of it points to the bottom of us. I, still having my dark powers, make a corridor of darkness appear underneath us.
"Oh, before we go, I'm going to do something," I tell Ven. Then I throw off my coat and reveal my clothes. They are nothing special though. My shirt is a plain tank top colored in black, and my jeans are the same color. The boots on my feet follow the same pattern expect for the heels which are white. "Okay, now let's go where this thing is taking us."
We arrive in a new world. I can see in the distance that there's a castle being remodeled, and the town looks like it's being worked on. When I see a woman with back hair and ninja clothing pass us, Ventus talks to her.
"Excuse me, miss, would you please tell us where we are?" asks Ven.
"First, I'm the great ninja Yuffie! This here is Radiant Garden! Now what are your names?"
