"My name's Ventus, but you can call me Ven," introduces my friend. "Over there is Xion. We're wondering if you saw anybody who looked like me pass through here."
"Not really." Then Ventus looks at his charm, and the light points pass a grey staircase. It is pretty standard. There is a shop right by it though. On the other side of the the shop, I notice that there's a freezer being protecting by a silly looking duck. He has a top hat on accompanied by a fancy blue and red coat. Ven grabs my hand without warning and begins running.
"I'm sorry, Yuffie, we've somewhere to be!" I apologize. The ninja nods her pale head and gives me a thumbs up.
"Ven, show down! I know you want to find your friends, but that doesn't give you a right to be rude!" I lecture. My blonde companion stops nearby the castle that's getting remodeled. Awe captures my heart as my eyes see it. "This is awesome, right?"
"Yeah, it is."
"Seems like you just needed to be cooled down a little bit. Come on, let's go find wherever the light is leading us before the sun goes down." The sun is setting, so both of us didn't have all the time in the worlds. It reminds me of the last day that I spent with Axel and Roxas, eating ice cream in Twilight Town. I know it's not the smartest thing to linger on memories for it can destroy one's heart. That wouldn't stop me though.
"I still can't believe Radiant Garden looks like this! It must've had a major makeover when I was in Sora's heart," Ventus comments. A tear runs down his right blue eye.
We're inside the castle now. It's walls are a faded brown, and there is water and dirt all over the simple floor. For some reason, a skateboard is near the entrance way. Patterns of black and white repeat themselves on it. "Something totally happened when I wasn't here."
"I feel like something horrible is here." Somebody taps on my shoulder, but I see that Ventus is looking at this person, fear in his eyes. I turn around to see a woman with green skin behind me. Her eyes are a sickish yellow as well. There are horns on her head being covered by a black head piece. All of the rest of her outfit is black.
"Maleficent, what are you doing here, you witch?" Ventus questions her.
"How do you still look the same, my boy? Whose your lady friend as well? I'm only here to propose to you an offer. If you say no, I shall leave."
"Why would I trust you?" I stand in front of Ventus, protecting him, but I didn't know why. This woman just reeks of darkness.
"I'll show you where your friends are, and you have to help me in return," Maleficent explains. "Gather all of the Princesses of Heart and bring them to me." To that, Ventus only responds by summoning his keyblade. It's teeth are backwards which makes it stand out from mine. I get mine too, and step out of Ventus' way. We point our weapons at the witch.
"Ven will never do something like that!" I shout. "We'll only help somebody like you when we're dead!"
"You haven't meet me before, young lady, so why should you be able to judge me? Oh well, I'll always be where the darkness is if any of you desire my assistance." Maleficent vanishes from sight in a fury of green flames.
"Don't listen to her," Ventus recommends.
"I won't."
The next place we stop is in front of a large door in a computer room. There is a big portal decorated with greys, reds, and yellows in the middle of it. In front of it, a high tech computer awaits to be used. A window shows the viewers the sight of another room filled to the brim with little prisons. Ventus and I stand next to a door, one that's opened.
We both walk down to the mysterious other room. To our shock, another floor is open, this one to the underground. Ventus and I are curious, so we decide to walk down to whatever is at the bottom of the room.
There are a lot of stairs to be sure.
"Look, a room!" Ventus yells. When I'm busy looking at all the cells, my friend hurries up to a room at the end of the hallway. I follow shortly after him.
"Wait up, Ventus, I really want to figure out what exactly is this place." Ventus drops to his knees, and I rush to him. Something is clearly in that room. "Hey, what's wrong?" I look inside to see a chair. The only other things inside that room is a keyblade and some armor.
