"Hey, Xion, it's me Namine. Kairi has given me permission to talk to you a bit. You know, the only reason Ventus, Roxas, and you are in the physical world is because of your connection to Axel. Because of his death, your beings reacted. Now is there anything you want to ask me?" I hear a voice say. Her voice is so sweet and soft, but there's a sign of pain and grief in it.
"Wait, how do you remember me?"
"Of course. I've powers over memories, but, in return, I'm cursed to always remember everything. Even if I want to forget it, the images will just continue replaying in my mind. Even the memories of Marluxia and Larxene...they still haunt me. See, Xion, not everybody forgot you," Namine explains. "I can feel a great darkness invading your heart, and that it has taken control of your body. Now fight back, Xion!"
"Xehanort...possessed me? That's creepy." Then I think about Ven. He might be fighting my body right now, so that would just bring him more pain. I didn't want to do that to him because he already experienced so much pain.
"Let me help you. Since you're connected to Sora, I can now mess with Xehanort's memories. He really didn't think about that." The blonde giggled a little bit inside my mind. "I can't believe I outsmarted that man."
"See, Namine, you can be so awesome! Alright, Xehanort, I won't let you take control of me and let your plans come true!" I shout. Then I try to force myself into my own body, attempting to overcome Xehanort's will. It's so strong but corrupt.
"Xion, come on!" I yell. "You can do it!"
"Forget it, that girl has no chance of winning against the darkness in her own heart," Maleficent says. What's with the sudden change of heart, lady? I'm thinking the same thing. "Darkness will control it."
"Don't you talk about Xion like that!"
"Have you really forgotten about Terra? How you and your blue-haired friend told me that the darkness will never overtake him?" She really pissed me off now. Terra was just troubled, but Xion isn't like him. They're both my friends. Xehanort is still busy trying to fight off Xion, and I desire to help her. Maleficent is really making it hard for me though.
"No, but that doesn't mean everybody will succumb. Unlike you, some people actually have strong enough hearts to resist the darkness!" I retort. You're actually right, Ven. Vanitas is being oddly supporting during this...
"Alright, child, but, if you desire to assist me, I'll be waiting for you. I've some other matters to do now." She then leaves through a dark portal, grinning. Not wanting to leave Xion, I stay here, and I walk up to her body.
"Please be okay," I whisper inside her ear. Let's just see what happens.
I'm on stained glass now. It's empty, but then, when I land on it, feathers come out. After that, a beautiful design appears under my big, pale feet. I was in the middle of it, holding a yellow and pink shell. My eyes are closed, and I'm wearing my coat from the Organization. Around me, there are smaller pictures of Sora, Axel, and Roxas. In the background, there is the Organization's stronghold, appearing white as always. The edges are designed with ice cream and different types of shells.
"That didn't take as long as I hoped, but, oh well, there has to be a backup plan to everything. I shouldn't be rash now." When I turn around, I notice that Xehanort is behind me, his sword in his old, wrinkly hands. Quickly, my own blade appears in my hands.
"I guess I've to fight you, huh? You better not torture me this time!"
"No promises shall be made." He strikes at me with his own demonic keyblade, but I put my Kingdom Key in front of me, defending myself. Xehanort is strong for an old man. The old Master tries to force me to drop my weapon, yet I keep holding on. My opponent just uses more and more power to make me quit.
"I won't make you do this again!" I overpower him. When he is staring at me, his yellow eyes shimmering, I charge at him. Angry, I unleash a fury to attacks on him, but Xehanort blocks them all. He shoots fire at me, but I roll out of the way before attempting to hit him with a fire move. Of course, he moved out of the way. "So, this is the type of game we're playing."
A.N-See, Namine IS awesome! :D Hope you enjoyed. Hey, I found out a song for this series!
Vanitas-It'll better be good.
Requiem-It's Not Gonna Die by Skillet! Hey, Vanitas, why are you the only one who appears in these? I much rather talk to Xion or Ventus.
Vanitas-Oh that's so flattering. But, seriously, you're the author, you're writing this right now!
