Sorry this took me so long. I had a case of a little thing called writer's block, but now I'm back again. :D Anyways, I hope you like how this story ends. Thank you all for supporting this series. I seriously never thought it would get this popular. Yes, the title for this chapter is indeed Latin.
"Xion...why are you doing this?" Xehanort questions me. I glare at him, anger in my blue eyes.
"Because I'm tired of being a puppet! All my life people like you use me, and I'm sick of it!" I respond. "Ven, Roxas, Namine, and Axel all treated me better than you ever could with your selfish heart." Once again, I attempt to hit him using my keyblade. He dodges out of the way.
"I see how it is." Xehanort aims another ice attack at me, but I shoot fire at it to protect myself. Before I can do anything else, I see that Xehanort appears behind me and hits my back. I fall onto the glass below me.
"Ven...I won't give up!" Rolling on the glass, I notice Xehanort stab his keyblade exactly where my head was. The glass cracks a little, and there's a burning feeling in my chest. Both Xehanort and I grab onto our chests in pain.
"Our hearts are connected deeply..." he says.
"So, if anything happens to my heart, it will happens to yours. The side effects of possession." I run towards him, yet I see that he puts his keyblade in the glass again, causing the agony to worsen. We fall onto the floor.
"Hmm..."
"What in the worlds are you doing?" I ask. "Have you gone mad?" I inch to him. With the little power inside him, he breaks the glass. "What..."
"Unlike you...I've a body to return to after this."
"You...bast-" There's a light...it's so beautiful.
"I'm worried, Vanitas," I tell my alter ego. Knowing him, he's probably rolling his eyes now.
"If you're worried, then find something else to do, idiot. You know, take your mind off of the situation. It's been a couple hours, and all you'll been doing is moping around." I check her pulse again, but this time I can't feel or hear anything.
"Xion!" I yell, shaking her body. "No...this can't be happening! It just can't."
"Kingdom Hearts...is this really happening? Xehanort, you crazy old coot," Vanitas says. "Now what are you going to do without a vessel? You keep killing them off!"
"Xehanort, he'll pay for this." Furious, I grab Xion's dead body and Aqua's belongings, and then I walked out of there. My eyes stared at my green wayfinder, looking for a solution. A light glows out of it, so I decide to follow it because of the mysteries still unsolved. I need to find Aqua and Terra. Then I'll avenge for the murder of Xion.
"Okay, if that's what you want, Ventus."
I wake up in Sora's heart, on the sands of the peaceful island. There, I see Roxas staring at me, so I look back at him. "You returned back to Sora, Xion." The beach is the same, but Ven isn't here anymore. It just feels empty without him.
"Xehanort, he put me here. Say Roxas, can you look like Ven?" I question my friend. The expression of confusion is written all over his pale face.
"Don't I already look like Ven?"
"Yes, but that's not my point. Can you sound like him?"
"What are you getting to?" he asks me. I laugh a little bit, and he still looks the same.
"Something tells me that somebody is coming here soon. If that happens, I want you to act like Ven. I want to ask our visitor a few questions after all."
Requiem-I hoped you liked the story since I did have fun writing it. :D Writer's block is REALLY annoying though. Now shameless plus for my next story, Redemption! Advertise! It's an AU! What would have happened if Sora choose to forget Kairi and remember his fake memories?
Vanitas-Anyways, let that idiot ramble on. Requiem wants to know how she can improve her writing since, let's face it, she's not the greatest thing ever. So, if you want to help her, you can just leave a review, personal message, whatever.
Requiem-Hope you enjoyed! :D Once again, I thank all of my fans for supporting me throughout this story. :D
