The room was stocked full of plush couches and small, comfortable armchairs. Oddly enough, despite the millions of deadly 'I'm-Going-To-Choke-You' rose petals and the obnoxiously bright 'You're-Hallucinating' sparkles, it was kind of nice… that was until one of the rose petals drifted into my open mouth as I was about to say something.
My violent coughs startled the hosts, sending them into a frenzy of movement, shouting things such as "She's dying!" or "Call an ambulance!".
Eventually—after I stopped choking—I was sat on a chair with a torch shined in my face while the host club was interrogating me.
"Who did it!?" Tamaki yelled at my face, directing the torch more at my eyes than anything causing me to squint.
"Oh, I don't know… a fly able to hold a large bucket full of water?" Despite my obvious sarcasm, one of the hosts wasn't able to pick up on it.
"Mummy! ALLYSA IS BEING HUNTED DOWN BY KILLER FLIES!"
Multiple sighs of exasperation sounded around the room before a large hand ruffled my hair. I looked up to see Mori staring at me disapprovingly.
"Aly-chan. I would appreciate it if you told us." Honey's voice overflowed with cuteness, but—in a way—it was threatening. His liquid-chocolate eyes bore into mine as I bit my lip nervously.
"It was nothing, I swear. Just a harmless prank. Aaaanyway, isn't it almost time for me to head off now? I mean, last period is heading to an end and sitting in my dorm sounds really satisfying right now." I looked down at my hands, knowing the excuse sounded lame despite the fact I had tried to sound nonchalant about the incident.
I don't think I should stay with them anymore. Within one day they made me say things that I never would've said and show them things that nobody should know. It was scary to say the least. After that incident… I really don't want to trust anybody and haven't for years, why now?
"Aly-chan!" Honey's voice was surprisingly calm. He used two fingers to lift my chin up so he could look into my eyes, "Why don't you tell us?" There was only one word to describe his cold, threatening response to my flimsy excuses: terrifying.
A shiver ran down my spine as his anger was directed at me.
"I don't know why this is any of your business." My voice came out firm and strong, "You guys were the ones who warranted the unprecedented attack on me." I yanked his hand away from my chin and directed my own cold glare at him.
Within half an hour, I had escaped the hosts and was shut in my own room again, working on the system I had been asked to create.
I am really sorry! I've been dealing with all sorts. And I've finally chosen my GCSEs (Computer Science, Ethics and Philosophy, Geography and Statistics)! Um... I was totally dead... writers wise. This is a short chapter to get into writing again (sorry).
Later on I will be putting up my mock CV that I wrote for my English homework on my profile so you can look at the link there.
