Motoko sat in her room with lit candles all around her the light illuminating her samurai armor. She sat there and calmly meditated drowning out the world around her. In her mind she replayed the events that had occurred the bay before. From Keitaro not tripping on things like usual to him acting weird. She soon finishes and grabs her blade. She then unsheathes it and turns to her candles. A quick slash puts out the candles with ease. She then walks out down to the field for training. She sets her training dummies and starts hacking and slashing at them dismembering them with her bushido techniques. As she turns to a large she sees Suu climb out of a large tree beside her. Suu says to her "Are you going to cut in half like usual?" She shakes her head and says back "No this time theres a dummy on the other side of it. That's what ill cut in half." Suu watches intently as Motoko readies her bladed. As she makes the cut Suu throws a pineapple in the way making the fruit get cut along with the dummy. Motoko looks at her and says "Why did you do that you could have gotten hurt." She then replies with "I had to cut it for dinner." She smiles and runs off with the freshly sliced fruit in hand. Motoko sighs and returns to her training.
Shinobu soon walks down the stairs to the field where Motoko is training and patiently waits for her to dispatch the dummy troops. "Dinners ready." She says softly trying not to startle her. Motoko looks at her and nods soon walking back to the dorm without saying a word. When they reach the kitchen Naru is yelling at Keitaro saying "For what you did yesterday your back to eating ramen until i say otherwise!" He nods without argument and goes straight to boiling water. Shinobu then says to her "Isn't that a little harsh i mean we already made him some?" She shakes her head and says "Ill just eat his serving." They sit down at the table and start to eat a dinner of kabobs over rice pilaf and right as Keitaro takes his ramen to his room Naru says under her breath "Good riddance." As they eat Motoko thinks to herself "He usually argues and probably would have spilled water all over himself. What's gotten into him?' As they finish Shinobu asks "Who has kitchen duty tonight?" Suu then says "Its Motoko's turn she didn't help with dinner." Motoko looks at her and says "Ok but that means you have it tomorrow night." Suu nods with a smile even though she probably didn't listen. As Motoko cleans the kitchen in solitude she starts to think about how Keitaro only had noodles. As she finishes putting up the food she grabs one of the left over kabobs and takes it to his room quietly. She knocks on the door and asks "Keitaro are you there?" The door then slides open and Keitaro asks "Yes?" She hands him the kabob and says "Don't say i never did anything nice for you." He nods and thanks her retreating back into his room afterwards. She then leaves and heads to her room.
Mitsune wakes the next morning with a splintering headache and empty bottles all around her. She thinks to herself 'Huh these need to be cleaned but i don't wanna have to do it...' She and opens her door and pushes the bottles into the hallway and goes to find Keitaro. "Keitaro where are you? Theres a mess that needs to be cleaned up." He emerges from his room and asks "Where is it?" She leads him to the bottles in the hall and says "This entire hallway needs to be cleaned if you mess you you'll have to restart." He nods and goes to work cleaning the hall. When Mitsune comes back an hour later the hall is spotless. When she opens her door it doesn't get stuck like it usually does it slides smoothly. "Did he fix my door?" She walks down the stairs skipping a step because of the hole thats usually there. As she walks down them they feel less worn. Looking down she realizes that there are fresh planks that have replaced the old ones.
As Mitsune through the house she noticed a lot of much needed repairs to the house. Finally arriving in the living she notices feet dangling in the window and she thinks to herself 'Oh shit he hung himself!' She then runs outside to save him if he was even still alive. When she looked at the side of the house she see's Keitaro fixing a window loudly. As she sighs in relief a voice from inside screams "Ill kill him!" When Mitsune looks inside the dorm she sees Motoko storming in the living with her sword in hand looking like she had just woken up. She looks at Mitsune and says "Where is he? I knew he had not changed." Mitsune then points to the side of the house. She looks up at him sternly and takes note of the rope that's holding him up. "This will teach him to be this loud in the morning." As she readies her blade Mitsune stands in the way and says "No havent you realized that the doors are fixed and the stairs as well!" Motoko looks at her for a minute and then goes to the front door. She opens and closes it a few times finally closing it. "Even the repairman couldn't fix this door... But Keitaro's usually horrible at fixing things." She looks up at Keitaro who is raising himself up to the roof. Mitsune stares at him in disbelief as he does it without falling. "He...didn't fall."
As night falls at the dorm Motoko calls a meeting in the kitchen. "Alright everyone i've called you here to discuss Keitaro's recent behavior. He's been fixing a lot of things in the house. I think its about time we forgave him for what happened a few days ago." Naru then shouts "He's just sucking up! We shouldn't forgive him besides its the job of a dorm manager." Motoko looks at her and right as shes about to ask a question they hear the door open. At the door they see Keitaro wander in looking exhausted and Motoko asks "Why are you in here at this time of night?" He looks at her and says "I'm getting my dinner i just finished cleaning the hot springs..." Mitsune hands him his his ramen and says "Here we need the kitchen for a while." He nods and walks up to his room slowly. When Mitsune looks back at the group Naru says "See he's sucking up to us!" Motoko then realizes something she hadn't before "This is something personal isn't it?" She shakes her head with a bitter look on her face and says "No he... A Bat!" She points to a light brown bat hanging in the corner of the room. They scream in terror as it flies at them and goes "Schreee". Motoko grabs her sword and swings at it making it fly away. She pants and says "Its gone..." As the group recuperates Naru says "We should observe him to make sure hes not up to anything." When Suu hears this her hand shoots straight up and she says "We can do that now." She pulls out a controller with a screen on it and presses the red button. The screen the reads "Mecha-Tama 8 initiating boot sequence" The screen then becomes a image of Suus room and as she moves the controls the screen follows. She presses a few buttons and it goes airborne. "Anyone know where he is?"
As Suu guides the mecha out of her room Motoko suggests that they check his room. After a few minutes the mecha reaches his bedroom door and goes in the slightly opened door. At the desk they see Keitaro eating his ramen quietly while studying. The lens is the blocked by something green and when Suu flies the camera away some Tama-Chan is in front of it. When the girls see this they look down at Suu whose mouth is watering. She presses a button and a reticle appears over the turtle that says Target-Locked. They shout and take the controller away from her deactivating the weapons. They then hear pounding and move the camera back toward Keitaro who is repairing a hole in the ceiling of his room. Naru then says to herself "That hole was useful..." After he finishes he pulls out a map of Japan. "So hes studying even more. No rest for a student I gusse." He then thinks to himself 'Where in Japan am I?'
[Im glad people are reading this. I try hard to write these to the liking of others. I accept all criticism. I gotta improve some how right. Ive made a format for the chapters where it goes the main characters then a support character chapter to help get thoughts from all of the people.
