Naru slept soundly that night as if she didn't have a care in the world. Not school not anything. The only thing that pained her to think about was Keitaro. How that night they... No she wouldn't think about. She wouldn't openly ruin her day but her dreams had a different agenda. They were going to make her relive it more than once. She laid there and let the dreams come. His soft lips against hers. Warmth filling her body. The want of that moment to go on forever. This time her dream ended how it did in real life. In her previous ones they kept kissing but this one ended with Keitaro falling off the roof leading to a loud- Naru woke in her room to a startling crash. She looked over at her clock to find it was 2 in the morning. 'Odd' She thought to herself 'was it just my dream or...' She then heard another large crash. 'Is it Suu sleepwalking again or was it just Kitsune getting back from the bar?' She contemplated on if she should go to investigate or let her dreams take her again. She then heard male voices. They started to have a conversation on which room they should rob first and that if anyone woke to kill them. At this she turned to go down the hole in the floor. As soon as she moved Lindo-kun she found it boarded up. "Damnit Keitaro. Right when I needed it too." She frantically looked for a weapon settling on an umbrella it being the only blunt object in her room fit enough to be used as a weapon. She then positioned herself next to the door waiting to see if the burglars would walk into her room or not. She soon started to feel a cold air overtake her room that was so cold that she could see her own breath. "What the hell?" She quietly said. After saying this her door slid open and the robbers entered. One looked around the room while the other said "She's gone. She must have heard us and hid." As they both started to look through her possessions she slowly started to walk through the open door. She thought to herself 'Just got to get to Motoko and she can-' She sidestepped just in time to dodge a small blue projectile coming toward her. "Where do you think your going?" She looked at them scared and glanced at the shard that had lodged itself into her umbrella. "U-um for a walk..." They started after her and she said "...And now for a run!"
Quickly turning the tight corridors of the inn she managed to make her way to the downstairs living room area. She hid just as the assailants made their way down the stairs. The one on the left then said "I know I saw her come in here guard the phone so she doesn't try anything." One went to the phone while the other went into the kitchen to look for her. She then took out the shard they threw at her and examined it closely. It felt cold to the touch almost as if it were ice but thats impossible the only way they could do that was if they were using magic. Magic's not real its something used to trick kids... or was it? She looked out from her hiding spot and saw the stairs unguarded. She thought 'The stairs are my only option. The other one has the door on lockdown.' She crept out of her hiding place and crawled to the stairs. As she started up the stairs she desperately thought 'Dont step on the squeaky step.' In her haste her foot landed on it only to her surprise it didn't squeak. She would have to thank Keitaro later for the repairs. She then thought 'I need to make it to his room so I can warn him! I may be angry with him but i still love him!' She soon found her way to his room through the darkness of the inn thankfully without raising alarm. Upon entering his room she saw him sitting at his desk looking at a map. Before he could say a word Naru covered his mouth and said "Keitaro 2 men have broken into the inn, plan to kill us all, and rob us. We need to get to Motoko so she can run them off." At this his eyes widen and he quietly says "Why would they do such a thing?" She says back to him "I don't know but they attacked me with this." She took out the blue shard and showed it to him. He stared at it in disbelief as she said "I've never seen anything like it before." Tsukune thought to himself 'But I have.' He thought back to all the times Mizore would throw these at Kurumu trying to kill her only for her to cut them up with her claws. He stood and said "We need to get to Motoko's room."
The quickly ran up the stairs to the other hallway desperately trying to reach Motoko's room. As they ran Tsukune thought to himself 'Why would Mizore's people attack us? Maybe... They were hired by someone.' They suddenly felt a cold air over run them. Naru then looked back to see the men chasing them. 'Theyre too fast they'll catch us before we get there. We're close to her room maybe if i do something to set Motoko off...' Naru then stopped and let out a high pitched shriek and screamed "Keitaro you pervert! Peeping in the middle of the night!" The attackers stopped looked at each other and then forward again confused. The light in the room ahead suddenly turned on and Motoko stepped out quickly sword already drawn. "Keitaro!" She yells "This is the lowest thing you-" She took in the scene ahead of her seeing the 2 men chasing her friends. Suu stepped out of Motoko's room and drowsily says "Is Keitaro peeping again?" Naru and Tsukune quickly ran past them with Motoko already taking a battle stance. They shot the blue projectiles at Motoko only to have them slashed out of the air by her blade. She then tries to slash at them only to have them dodge it. She slices at them hard only to have one catch her blade. "You're gonna have to try a lot harder than that to hurt us." He tosses her aside knocking her out and advances toward Suu. She then says "Mecha-Tama activate initiative 2 Protect your creator!" Out of her room her robot flew out shooting the thieves keeping them occupied. Suu went to Motoko's limp body and dragged her to the end of the hallway where Tsukune and Naru waited. Naru looks at them and says "End of the hall what do we do now?" Tsukune looked out the window and saw the lift he used to fix the windows. "Out the window?" He suggested with Naru looking at him like hes crazy. He looked at Suu and said "Hold Motoko tight. Don't let her go." Naru looked at him and said "Keitaro we will die if we go out that window! We have a better chance against the thieves!" They than heard a metallic clang and when they turned around they saw the men walking past the destroyed bot. Tsukune looked to Suu and said grab the rope on the right. Naru I'm really sorry about this." Before she could react to him he grabbed her and jumped through the window with Suu jumping behind them. Naru screamed as they went airborne. Suu quickly did as Tsukune instructed and grabbed the rope on the right as Tsukune grabbed the rope on the left causing Suu and Motoko to ascend while Naru and Tsukune descended. Naru then came to the realization that they were were going to fast. She looked up at Tsukune in terror as he thought to himself 'We need a window or we arent going to make it.' He soon spied one near them and swung them towards it with all his might causing them to crash land in Shinobu's room.
Shinobu woke to Naru and Tsukune crashing in through her window. When she first saw Tsukune her first instinct was to scream but then she saw Naru as well. She quickly ran to them and said and asked "Why did you just crash in through my window!?" Naru then looked at her and said "Because this idiot had the brilliant idea to do so." He then says back "It worked didn't it! We got out of there alive and got Suu and Motoko to safety. Shinobu looked at them confused and says "What's going on? What do you mean you got away alive?" Naru looks at her and says back "Men have broken into the Inn and plan to kill us all." Shinobu then got a look of shear terror in her eyes and asks "Why would they want to do such a thing?" Tsukune replied with "There are just those types of people in the world i guess..." He thought to himself 'Although these men were hired to do this.' Naru got up and said "We need to go get Kitsune and then get up to the roof." They quickly left the room and started to make their way down the hall toward Kitsunes room when the coldness returned. Naru tensed up and and thought 'Oh no not again' They heard footsteps quickly descending the stairs as they hid nearby. One turned to the other and said "Damn I didn't think we would have this much trouble with these people! I thought this would be an easy job." They ran down the hall towards Shinobu's room making it so Naru, Shinobu, and Tsukune could get to Kitsunes room. They quickly entered the room and closed the door quietly. Tsukune shook Kitsune awake and she looked at him tiredly. "Keitaro if your were cold and wanted to sleep in here all you had to do was ask." Tsukune says back to her "N-no thats not what I-" She cuts him off and says "Sure sure I know what you need." She then looks up to see Naru and Shinobu standing there. "Oh so you want one of them to join eh? Sorry Keitaro I don't swing that way no matter how cute Naru can be." At this Naru's face gets red and she quickly says "Thieves have broken into the Inn and plan to kill us all. We need to get up to the roof so we can meet up with the others." She looks at Naru and says "Well why didnt you say so in the first place?" Shinobu says back "Because you were trying to seduce Keitaro..." Kitsune then got a blank expression and they started to hear voices "I know they were on this floor the broken window is proof of that. Maybe they went down stairs to the phone?" They hear them rush past the room and down the then slowly slide the door open and once she was certain that the hall was clear motioned for them to exit the room. The then quickly made their way up to the roof.
Suu sat on the roof next to Moroko scared for her friends. These men had managed to knock out Motoko and destroy her robot. "What's next a vampire or a succubus showing up?" She looked over at Motoko and sighed. It took a lot to get her into to a mood where she wasn't happy but somehow these event had caused it. Her invention hand failed to protect her and her friends after Motoko fell. She sat there quietly and thought to herself 'if they die I'll have no one...' Suddenly Motoko started to stir showing signs that she was waking. Suu sat her up as Motoko sprang to life and shouted "Where are they!?" Suu looked at her sadly and said Keitaro got us to safety at the cost of him being possibly caught." Motoko looked at her to see if there were any signs that she was joking only to find none. "So that perverted man saved us huh?" Suu nodded and Motoko said "Well we can't have our manager dieing on us now can we." She stood up and drew her blade. Suu looked at her and stood with a happier face then she had moments ago. They ran down the stairs only to bump right into Tsukune as he ascended the stairs. Suu looked at him in disbelief poke him and then jumped onto him. "You're ok!" A small smile grew on Motoko's face. "Thanks for saving us." Tsukune looked at her and said "A favor for a favor." At first Motoko was confused but then remembered how she had brought him some food rather than letting him eat only ramen. When she looked behind Tsukune she saw Shinobu, Kitsune, and Naru coming up the stairs as well. Kitsune looked up at her and said "I hate to cut this reunion short but we need to reach the phone." Suu who was still hanging onto Tsukune nodded and said "If we get to the hotsprings then the phones right inside there." Naru then said "But how do we get there without them noticing?" Suu then got a wide smile on her face and said "The same way Keitaro saved us." Naru then got wide eyes. "Oh no we are not doing that again!" Motoko looked at her confused and asked "How did he save us?"
Naru couldn't believe it. They some how managed to convince her to do it again. She stared in disbelief at the ground from the side of the building. Above her was Motoko while below her was Tsukune. 'The first time had been hell. It was against my own will too. At least it wasn't as fast as it had been the first time.' As they reached the hot springs area they heard the 2 me inside arguing. "How did they just disappear it's not like they could have just faded into thin air they're only humans!" The other then said "Look just search for them alright!" The next thing they knew the door to the living room opened and one of the thieves stepped out. He took out a cigarette and lit taking deep inhales from it. "Jeez this job is such a pain in the neck..." He turned his head to the group and they stared at each other for a moment. The man finally broke the silence and shouted into the dorm "Hey brother I found them!" Motoko quickly took up her sword as the other brother walked out. "So this is where you've been hiding. We'd like to finish up here if that's ok with you." They both flung shards at Motoko who easily cut them out of the air. A rapid fire of the shares was thrown at her with each shard being easily deflected. She thought to herself 'I won't let harm come to my friends!' She started walking forward while continuing to deflect the shards. "Is that all you got!" One of them shouted back "I'm getting real tired of this shit!" The pair sped up their assault with Motoko able to keep up easily. Only when it was too late did she realize that 2 shards flew past her head toward her friends. Tsukune saw them as they went directly for Naru. He thought to himself 'I won't let her get hurt!' He quickly push Naru out of the way and took both shards to the stomach. When this happened the assault stopped. "Damn it our client said to leave that one unharmed." Motoko then took advantage of the situation and swung at them causing them to back off. They then swiftly jumped over the wall and escaped the area. Motoko turned back to see Naru holding Tsukune with blood soaked hands. Tears fell from Naru's eyes as she sadly said "I'm sorry Keitaro. I'm sorry for it all. For the harshness, for the pain, for everything. You can't leave me Keitaro you just can't! I won't forgive you if you do. I-I love you too much to let you go..."
