First of all, thanks for reading. I'd like to thank specially JustaLittleWallflower and .143 for your support.

This chapter is slightly shorter, but I promise to update sooner that I usually do to make up for it.

I don't own anything except the grammar and spelling mistakes.

Puck's done a lot of stupid things in his life. He slept with a teacher in high school, he dated Rachel, he asked Finn to tell some girl he slept once that he died and that's the reason why he wasn't taking her calls. But falling for an escort? That was definitely on top of his list.

It's been three weeks since the weekend he and Quinn spent together and he couldn't stop thinking about her. Puck couldn't help it. The girl made him long for things he didn't even know he wanted. But he couldn't want it. Not with her. It would never work. He would never be ok with her job, and basing on what he knew about her, she wouldn't quit.

But it didn't matter right now because, apparently, Quinn didn't want anything to do with him, considering he called her exactly 15 times in the past week and she didn't answered him or called back. And he wouldn't call again. He's not the kind of guy that keeps going after chicks when they clearly don't want him. He's better than this. He can take a hint. But it was different with Quinn, he was having a hard time letting her go. He was constantly thinking about her. Which explains why he went to her apartment complex twice in the past three weeks, found out which apartment was Quinn's, and tried to talk to her, but she never answered the door.

Puck never felt more pathetic in his whole life. He had to forget about her, but he was finally beginning to accept that he was in love with her, and that never happened before. The only woman he ever loved was his mother (ok, maybe he kind of loved Sarah too), and it was a completely different type of love. So, maybe, it was a little bit hard to just let go. That's why he decided he would try to call her one more time, and it would be the last.

Quinn heard her ringtone and grabbed her phone, to check the caller's id.

"It's him again", she told her two best friends, in a teary voice.

Kurt and Blaine looked at her expectantly, as the blonde stared at her phone.

"I'll do it, I'll answer the phone." She whispered, as she nodded her head.

"I think you should, if you're gonna stick to the plan." Said Blaine, in a challenging tone.

"I don't want to stick to the plan, I just want to talk to him, ok? To tell him I miss him."

Kurt shook his head. "You can't, Quinn. We watched you pine after him for the past month, and you know this is unprofessional. Whatever is going on with this guy is compromising your work. You cancelled on clients because of him. You never do that."

The blonde had watery eyes and kept staring at her phone. "I can't tell him I don't want to see him again. I can't do that."

Kurt snatched the phone away from Quinn. He knew that, if she answered the phone, she wouldn't be able to do what she had to do. He held on to it until it stopped ringing.

Blaine felt sorry for Quinn. She actually liked this guy, and she could have the real thing.

"Quinn, it's ok if you want to stop. You know you won't be an escort forever, maybe this guy is a good enough reason for you to quit this job. Then you'll get to have a social live again. You'll be able to have more friends and not hesitate or feel insecure when people ask you what you do for a living. You wouldn't have to lie about it." Blaine paused, to see if he got any kind of reaction from her. After seeing that she still had her head down, he continued. "Q, you could have weekends to yourself again. We would spend more time together, go out more often, like we used to do when you first got to New York... You could change your life around. If you think that what you have with this guy is worth it, then go ahead. It might be the push you needed." He finished, with his eyes on her.

Quinn had a soft smile on her face. As her friend spoke, she kept imagining what her life could be like in the scenario he painted. She could be with Puck, make new friends, go to college. She could have a normal life. Because currently, her life was anything but normal. "That sounds nice."

"Yes, that could happen, but you could also turn out like your mother." Said Kurt. Blaine gave him a slap, chastising him. "No, I'm being honest here, ok? We both love Quinn and want her to be happy, so I'll tell her what I really think." He turned to the girl. "Look, if you quit, there's not another job you could get that would pay you as much as this one. That means no more fancy clothes and say goodbye to your flat in Manhattan. You won't be able to keep your lifestyle. Unless this guy is willing to support you, but is that what you really want? We know that what you want the most is your financial independency. That was your main goal when you came to New York. Don't forget that, Q."

The tears that Quinn was trying to hold started falling freely down her face.

"Besides", continued Kurt, "do you even know if this guy feels the same way? Have you talked to him about it? Maybe, all you'll ever be to him is the escort he hired to take to his sister's wedding. And even if he feels the same way, do you think he'll be ok with the fact that you used to be an escort? You're not what he considers to be a normal girl, Q. You had sex with a lot of men, you probably did more kinky things in bed last month than he did his entire life. Scratch that, you probably had sex with more people last month than he had his entire life. You come with a heavy baggage. Do you think he's ready to accept it? Do you think that he'll be ok when the two of you go out to dinner and meet one of your former clients? That considering that you actually quit your job, because I think you don't even have o ask him if he'd be in a relationship with you if you keep working as an escort.".

By now, Quinn was sobbing. "You're right. I can't quit my job. I can't be with Noah. I'll only hurt him."

Kurt felt sad for her, but he knew he was right. "I'm sorry, hun." Said the boy, as he handed her phone back.

She saw that she had voicemail. It had to be from Puck. She pressed the button to listen to it and put it on speaker.

"Quinn, this was the last time I called you. As soon as I'm done here, I'll delete your number. I've been trying to talk to you for the past weeks and you've been ignoring me since then. I just want you to know that I'm done. I don't want to see you or hear your voice ever again. You meant nothing to me and I'd like us to pretend that we've never met."

Kurt and Blaine exchanged a look as they hugged their sobbing friend. She'd need them right now.

"It'll be ok, Q."

Puck had enough. All the frustration and pain caused by the rejection turned to anger. How could she just ignore him? If she didn't feel the same about him, the least she could do was just tell him. Ignoring him was the worst thing Quinn could do. He thought she at least respected him, but apparently, he was wrong. Come on, he introduced her to his whole family, he spent more time with her in the last few months than he did with his best friends. The least he deserved was some consideration on her part. She owned it to him.

Fuck her. Fuck Quinn. Just like that, he decided that he would stay true to what he told her. He would never see her or hear her voice again. He deleted her number from his phone.

THE END!

Just kidding!
