chapter 2: my start
I was born on a sunny day on the gem home world, like most gems my mom had to give up her gem, physical form, and life to give me mine. I was born about 6,000 years ago. I also had a normal life i went to school there i found out how to form my weapons 2 double bladed swords because of my special weapons once i was 100 (the age needed to join) i joined the gems form of a race wide army. once in i was one of there best units i was fast, strong, and quiet that's why i got special training. I was to be a inflation unit. after my first 100 or so earth years i found love a beautiful gem and her name was scarlet she had long red hair and her gem was a ruby like mine. we first met in training we were both going to be a 2 gem squad killing rebel leaders, high value targets, and even killing planet leaders. i had a best friend in my training his name was emerald quarts he and i started and finished training together, i felt he and i could take on the world together he and pearl were also madly in love. after training scarlet, pearl, emerald, and i were assigned our first task to take down a rebelling force protecting a planet called earth. once we all got planet side we set up a camp. i could here pearl yelling at emerald not to go that he would die i felt sorry for her for i felt he would not make it. for scarlet and i our orders were different then there's. they were to attack head on, scarlet and i were to surprise the enemy and take them out from behind. scarlet and i were in place as both armies clashed we ran up behind them taking them out after we killed all the targets we went to join the clash between the armies. scarlet ran right and i ran left into the enemy's flank as i was fighting i though if scarlet, pearl, emerald, or i would make it out alive. the battle lasted about 20 earth hours half way through i was stabled in my right arm witch limited me to only one double blade. in the end we had won more then 3/4 of our army had been wiped out over 1,000 gems died that day. i finished off my last foe and headed back to our camp. once i was there i could see scarlet next to pearl, pearl with her head in her hands tears running down her face. i ran to her and asked what had happened. scarlet sat next to me and told me to sit down so i did, she put her hand on my back and said "emerald he didn't make it" next thing i knew all i could see was black. i had passed out.
