Chaos sat in Deboss's throne as Candelilla came up with a monster in tow, designed after a baker.

"Master." Candelilla bowed to him. "This is Batissier, a baker designed for..."

"What is this nonsense?" Chaos yelled, gesturing the the monster. "A baker? Could you not have done better?"

"Hear me out, Master Chaos." Candelilla pleaded. "I have received word that the rangers are attending a bake sale today and Batissier makes sweets irresistible to humans so..."

"And how will that help us?" Chaos asked. "Time after time you always fail and..."

"Sir," Endolf said as he came close to Chaos. "I have a solution. You see, I can get Viruson to infect Batissier once he makes the baked goods irresistible to give the humans a dose of pain."

Chaos smiled evilly. "Alright, Candelilla. Send him out, but he is not coming back until he succeeds."

Candelilla smiled brightly. "Oh thank you Master Chaos," She looked to Endolf. "Endolf." She nodded to him as she and Batissier left the throne room.

Jesse groaned as he sat on his motorcycle, waiting for Robin to come so they could leave. Robin soon ran out of AD and over to him, before hopping on and putting on her helmet.

"Are you finally ready, or are you gonna run inside again?" Jesse asked, before they left.

"Just go before I think of anything." Robin chuckled.

"No problem."

Jesse revved up his motorcycle and they took off, Robin clutching her things with one hand and him with the other.

"You think the others are there already?" Robin asked him as they stopped at a red light.

Jesse nodded. "Probably." The turned green and they began driving again. "Why?"

"I feel like I'm gonna be late." Robin said nervously.

"It's just a bake sale." Jesse assured her. "It'll be okay."

"Yeah, but it's to raise money for the music department."

Jesse laughed. "What does the music department need money for? They already have tons of instruments, a stage, five classrooms, I mean, what more could they need?"

"A lot."

Jesse parked in the student parking lot and they got off the motorcycle. Jesse grabbed the things from Robin's arms as they walked towards the front.

"Don't worry, this is gonna be great." Jesse nudged her and offered a smile.

"Thanks, but I just have a bad feeling about today."

"Robin!" Alice ran towards her and grabbed her by the wrist, being to tug at her sleeve. "Come on!"

"Whoa, whoa, what's wrong?" Robin stopped her and grabbed her shoulders, looking into the younger girl's eyes.

"There's a woman over there, and she looks just like you and was asking for you. She said her name was.. uh.. Payton, I think." Alice looked panicked. "She's been here for almost half an hour. Where were you guys?"

"Sorry, you said Payton?" Robin asked, narrowing her eyes. Alice nodded. "Where is she now?"

"In the bathroom, why? Do you know her?" Alice asked.

"Yeah." Robin muttered. "But I don't wanna see her. Let's just go set up."

"We're already set up." Alice stopped her. "Come on."

Hiding behind a few nearby trees was Batissier, chuckling. "I can't wait to get to work."

Meanwhile, Robin put on her apron and her first customer came up to her. He was an average height boy with brown hair and blue eyes. "Hey, Carson." She smiled. "Can I help you?"

"Hey, Robin." He smiled back and looked around at the various treats on the table. "Wow, everything looks so good." He looked back up at her. "What would you recommend?"

"Well, what do you think you would like?" Robin asked.

"Umm... the rocky-road brownie looks good, but so does the slice of lemon pound cake." Carson replied.

"Why don't you get both?" Robin asked.

"Well, I only have three dollars and I want to buy a water too." Carson said.

"You could get the lemon pound cake, but it's really filling, though the rocky-road brownie could get stuck in your teeth with the nuts and caramel and marshmallows. I say, you go with rocky road cookies instead and get three and a water instead of just one thing and water." Robin suggested.

Carson nodded. "Alright." He was about to hand her the money when a hand was placed on his and another three dollars was given to her.

"Please, let me." An older boy with black hair and blue eyes and a smirk handed her the money. "Oh, and I'll take a slice of that pound cake, by the way." He fished in his pocket and gave her two dollars. "I'm Will, I just moved here from upstate."

"Nice." Robin smiled as she put the money in the box and handed them their treats and Carson his water. "How are you enjoying Sol Valley so far?"

"It's cool, but this school isn't the best. I mean, the teachers suck." Will told her. Carson was still standing next to him, eyeing him warily.

Robin frowned. "Really? Like who?"

"Mrs. Romlin. Jeez." He shook his head.

"You're a senior." Robin concluded, and Will nodded. "I've heard about her. She seems pretty... Off."

"Just a bit." Will nodded and bit into his cake. His eyes widened. "This is amazing. Damn."

"Oh, thank you." Robin smiled. She opened her mouth to speak, but someone grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the side, just as Carson did the same to Will.

"Let go of me." Robin ripped her arm out of the young woman's grasp and glared at her, until she pulled off her sunglasses and Robin got a good look at her. "Payton?"

"Hey, Robin." Payton smiled. She had long auburn hair like Robin and the same hazel eyes, though Payton was almost half a foot taller than her younger sister. "I saw what you did, you're a true business woman."

"What are you talking about?" Robin asked, frowning. The last time she had seen her sister was before her sister went off to college and they were not on good terms. Payton had left, not only to go to Harvard, but to meet their mother, whom Robin had never had a chance to meet, and desperately wanted to do so.

"The way you helped your friend on what he could get, you're really good with business."

"It's not business." Robin shook her head. "It's people skills, and anyway, you know I don't wanna be a business woman like you and dad. I have my own goals."

"But you've never tried it."

"Does it matter?"

Payton sighed. "Come on, Robin. I mean, this is the family business."

"I don't wanna be a part of 'the family business.'" Robin growled. "Why are you here, anyway?"

"I came here to offer you a trip to Cambridge with me to go to high school there and then get into Harvard with me." Payton answered.

Robin rolled her eyes. "All you ever think about is business." She shook her head. "I don't wanna go."

"Robin..."

"No, Payton. I'm not going with you." Robin turned around and was about to walk over to her stand when her sister yelled out, "I live with mom, and so would you!"

Robin paused and turned around, looking her sister dead in the eye. "You live with mom? No way."

"Yeah, I do, and she wants to meet. She paid for me to fly all the way out here to bring you back to meet her." Payton smiled.

"Really?" Robin smiled to herself, looking at the ground. She looked back up at her sister. "I've gotta talk to my roommates first. Where are you staying?"

"At the Mariot near the town square. You know where I'm talking about, right?"

She nodded. "When is your flight?"

"Tomorrow at 5 pm. Think you can meet me before then?"

Robin nodded. "For sure. I'll see you tomorrow."

Payton hugged her sister, shocking her. "I'm glad you're considering."

Robin hugged her back, and then they both pulled away. Payton waved goodbye to her sister as she walked away and into a limo that pulled up on the side of the road. Robin watched her leave before going back to her bake sale. What she saw surprised her.

"Alice," She ran over to the purple ranger, who was standing with the others. "What's going on?"

"I don't know." Alice stared at the people in shock. "Some came up and bought everything and told everyone that they could have it and then everyone just grabbed armfuls of stuff and started shoving it in their mouths. It's crazy."

"Hey, well it is pretty good." Jesse said through a mouthful of pound cake.

"Is that your second slice?" Alice frowned as Jesse nodded. "Aren't you full? I couldn't even finish a piece of that stuff."

"I'm literally so full, but I can't stop eating. It's so good." Jesse was about to shove the rest in his mouth when Alice snatched it away from him. "Hey!"

"Stop." She handed half of it to Matt. "Matt, try that and tell Jesse that its not that good." She then handed the other half to Spencer. "You too." Spencer and Matt were taken aback, but put the pieces in their mouths. Their eyes widened and they looked at Alice, shocked.

"This is amazing." Spencer said.

Matt nodded. "How could you say it wasn't? This is the best thing I've ever eaten."

"What?" Robin frowned. "I tried it before I put it out there. It's not that good."

"Uh.. guys?" Mason was looking off in the distance, and no one seemed to hear him. "Guys!"

"What?" Scott responded.

"We've got company." He pointed at Batissier in the distance, who was staring at the people eating.

The rangers stopped arguing and looked around, seeing that everyone was so focused on eating that they hadn't seen the alien. "Come on." Matt waved them over behind the building. "Ready?"

"Ready."

"Dino Squad, Power Up!"

The rangers ran over to the trees where Batissier was hiding. Startled, the monster jumped out and looked at the rangers. He smiled with completely white, perfect teeth.

The rangers frowned. This monster didn't look too evil. In fact, it looked pretty harmless. However, the rangers couldn't take any chances. Matt stepped forward and pointed his sword at Batissier threateningly.

"What are you doing to these people, Batissier?" Matt demanded.

The alien cowered under their gazes and flinched away from the sword. "I'm just making people happy." He stuttered, covering his face with his eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Alice raised an eyebrow, confused.

"I was sent here to make people happy by using my power to make those sweets irresistible. That's all, I swear!" Batissier told them, holding up his hands in surrender.

Matt slowly lowered his sword. He gestured to the side. "Get out of here."

"Matt." Jesse hissed, but Matt ignored him. "Leave now, or we'll destroy you." He said.

Batissier nodded quickly and disappeared into thin air, and the rangers demorphed.

"Well, that was weird." Mason commented, eyeing the spot Batissier last was.

"No kidding." Robin agreed under her breath as the others nodded.

"Come on, let's get back to AD. Kyro will want to know about this." Matt ordered.

The others nodded and went to their vehicles, Jesse and Robin on the motorcycle once more. Robin looked off in the distance most of the ride and sighed, leaning her head against Jesse's back.

Should I leave? This alien wasn't evil, maybe the rest aren't either. Maybe all the evil ones were destroyed. Maybe... Just maybe.. I could leave.

The next day after lunch, Robin was getting her things together and looking around her room for what she thought would be the last time. She heard her door open and gasped, hiding her stuff behind her when she saw Kyro come into her room.

"Kyro. Hi, what's up?" She cringed at how hasty she seemed, but she needed him to get out.

Kyro frowned at her. "You asked to see me."

"Oh." Robin chuckled nervously. "I forgot."

Kyro nodded awkwardly. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

"I'm leaving." Robin bit her lip as she saw the look of confusion on her mentor's face.

"But.. why?" Kyro asked, sounding dejected and.. slightly offended.

"I'm sorry, Kyro. It's not you or the others, it's just that I want to my mom. My sister showed up and wants to take me to Cambridge with her so I could meet my mom." She took her morpher off and offered it to him. "Here."

He shook his head and pushed her hand away. "If you ever decide to come back, something on there can help you."

She gave him a confused look and opened her mouth to question him, but he instead engulfed her in a hug. She was shocked; Kyro had never shown this much emotion to any of them before now. After a moment, Robin wrapped her arms around him as well. They both pulled away and Kyro put a hand on her shoulder. "I'll miss you, Robin. Now, go. Before you miss your sister."

"Thank you, Kyro." She smiled tearfully and grabbed her things. She was about to leave when she turned around and looked at her mentor. "Please, tell the others that I'll miss them and that I love them, especially Jesse."

Kyro nodded, blinking back tears. "Alright." He said as she left without a look back.

"So, you have failed me Batissier." Chaos growled as he glared daggers at the monster who trembled as he kneeled before the head general.

"I'm sorry, Master Chaos. I thought I was doing what I was supposed to do." Batissier hung his head in shame.

Chaos smirked. "Don't worry, I have a way to fix this problem." He motioned with his hand and Endolf came out into the open, grinning mischievously.

Batissier stood up and backed away. "No, I know what you're doing. Get away from me!" He began to run but tripped over a break in the concrete. He turned over on his back and began to scoot away as Endolf and Chaos cackled and moved towards him. Suddenly, he was seized by a few Zorima who lifted him and dragged him in front of Endolf.

"Please, just kill me! It'd be a better fate than this!" He cried, but it was too late. Endolf put a hand on the top of his head, and Batissier felt a rush of ice run through his body.

Endolf let go of his head and Batissier threw the foot soldiers off of him and ripped off his coat, revealing a decaying body beneath. A few of his shiny teeth fell out and the rest rotted.

Chaos and Endolf looked at their creation and smiled evilly.

"She left?" Jesse exclaimed. "That's impossible! She would never leave! She was perfectly happy here!"

"That's why she left." Kyro soothed. "She left to meet her mother, who she's never even seen before. It was really important to her. You should support her decisions."

"You do?" Matt asked, shocked.

Kyro nodded. "Yes. She is able to make her own decisions and should she make the one to come back, well then that's great but if she doesn't you'll have to respect her decision."

Alice remained silent as Scott, James, and Mason got involved, and was shocked that the other guys weren't. She looked over at them and noticed they were beginning to look sick.

"Are you guys okay?" She whispered over to them as the other three guys yelled.

"Huh?" Spencer asked. "Yeah."

"No." Jesse shook his head, holding his stomach in pain.

Suddenly the three let out pain-filled moans and fell to the floor, clutching their stomachs in intense pain. Alice shrieked in shock and everyone suddenly was silent for a moment.

"Guys!" Scott called out after a moment of silence.

The four still standing dropped the their knees next to them and tried to help them up, but the three were in such intense pain that they couldn't be moved.

"Kyro, what's going on?" Alice cried, looking up at him with panic in her eyes, but the mentor was too shocked to do anything. "Kyro!"

~PRDS~

"You know," Payton said, smiling at her sister as they sat on the plane. "I'm really glad you're coming with me, and mom will be too."

"I'm only going for her." Robin said, not looking up from the magazine she was reading. "I'm not going for you."

Payton looked away with sadness in her eyes at this. She clenched her fists angrily. "What did I ever do to you to make you hate me this much? We used to be so close. What happened?"

Robin looked up at her and closed her magazine with an unwavering gaze. "You betrayed our promise. You promised me you wouldn't meet mom without me and you did and I had to find out from Joe of all people. I mean, if you were gonna do that you could've just told me you were going to, but no. You went behind my back and then you left without saying a word. I don't hate you, but I sure as hell don't consider you a friend."

Payton had a hurt look on her face, and Robin cringed on the inside while she kept up a facade of anger on the outside. Payton opened her mouth to speak, but she was cut off by the announcement on the intercom.

"Alright passengers, we will be landing in Cambridge in about ten minutes. Please fasten your seat-belts and prepare for landing."

Robin fastened her seat-belt and gestured to her sister's. "You might wanna fasten that." She then reopened her magazine and began looking through the the table of contents to find her page.

~PRDS~

The alarm went off and the four remaining rangers weren't ready. Alice nearly jumped a foot in the air when it went off and the others were frantic. They had gotten the others to the infirmary but had no idea what was wrong.

"Go!" Kyro yelled, pushing them out. "Destroying the monster might help. Hurry!"

The four nodded and ran out to the scene of the battle. "Stop right there, Batissier!" Scott yelled as they four stopped in front of him. "Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Power of the Parasaurolophus!"

"Power of the Pterodactyl!"

"Power of the Ankylosaurus!"

"Power of the Plesiosaurus!"

The four drew weapons and ran forward as Batissier charged them. Scott flipped over him and blasted him, but Batissier grabbed his leg and threw him into Mason as the cyan ranger came up to attack. The two were thrown back and Mason pushed Scott off of him with a groan.

"Dude, you weight a ton!" Mason muttered.

Alice ran up next and clashed her sword with his right hand, which was modeled after a whisk. She pushed with all of her might but he was strong and began to gain the upperhand.

"What happened to being good?" She growled.

Batissier laughed. "That side of me is long gone, little girl!"

Alice growled and kicked his feet out. "I'm not a little girl!"

She brought her sword down, only to be ambushed by Zorima, who grabbed her and dragged her back, trapping her in a circle of them. She grabbed one of them and pulled in through, making it crash into another one on the other side of the circle. She took out her blaster and began to blast them, but one behind her grabbed it and threw it to the side, out of reach. She reached for her sword, but could no longer find it at her side. She began looking frantically for it and the Zorima grabbed at her, but to no avail. It was gone. She began to punch and kick at the foot soldiers, trying to get away, but more began surrounding her.

James grabbed Batissier as soon as he got away from the Zorima and tried to throw him to the side, but the alien laughed. "Too weak, gold ranger?" He grabbed James' sword and slashed him with it, and, finding it to be a good weapon, decided to keep it.

Mason came running up next, but he was rammed in the stomach by the whisk hand, before slashed to the side with the sword Batissier stole from James.

James growled from his place on the ground and stood up. "I believe you have something that belongs to me." He jumped up and flipping through the air, landing behind the alien and pulling his whisk hand behind his back. "Give it back." He growled.

"Never!" Batissier yelled, flipping over and throwing James' to the ground, but not without a price. The whisk arm was dislocated and mangled, and would be unusable in a fight, or in anything for that matter.

Batissier growled loudly and approached the gold ranger, standing over him menacingly. "Look what you did you golden brat!" He held the sword to James' throat. "Any last words?"

Batissier brought up the sword when Scott and Mason suddenly tackled the alien to the ground, allowing James room to breathe. Scott and Mason began a fierce fight with the alien, clashing swords with the alien and each other more often than not and getting less hits on him than he got on them.

Meanwhile, Alice was still having trouble with the army of Zorima surrounding her. She was on the ground with all of them pointing their swords at her. Suddenly, some of the Zorima on her right side jolted and their heads flew off, leaving their bodies to fall to the floor. Alice screeched as the heads landed on her, but was relieved to see James standing their with her sword in hand. He proceeded to do the same to the rest of the Zorima, and then helped her up before handing her her sword.

"Thanks!" Alice smiled.

"No problem." James smiled back.

Just then, a demorphed Scott and a demorphed Mason rammed into them and knocked them back into a tree, which they then fell out of, and demorphed as well.

~PRDS~

Robin stood outside the apartment Payton and her mother lived in. Payton had gone to school to drop off something she borrowed from a friend and dropped Robin off at the front door. She peered in through the window and saw her. Michelle Smith. She was dusting off a bit of furniture. She was beautiful with curly brown hair and brown eyes that seemed to defy her age. Robin almost cried. She reached for the doorknob when she heard the beeping of her morpher. She grasped her arm.

"Kyro? Is something wrong?" She asked, hoping that he was just calling to say hi, though she knew why he called - there was trouble.

"Robin, I'm sorry but you need to come back. Jesse, Spencer, and Matt are down and the other four have demorphed in the middle of battle! I sent Reese there to help but he wont be able to handle it. You can go back right after but it's urgent that you get back here!"

"Kyro, I'd love to come back and help but I'm already here. Even if I caught a flight right now, there's no way I'd get there in time."

"There is! Press the the keys 1-5-3-9 and brace yourself."

Robin looked at her morpher and nodded. "Alright, give me a second." She turned off the call and began to press the buttons when she heard a voice behind her.

"Robin?" She stopped and turned slowly, covering her mouth with her in shock when she saw her mother standing there.

"Mom?" She gasped. Her mother grabbed her in a tight hug and let out a sob of relief. "I'm so glad to finally see you. I love you so much."

Robin was shocked and wanted to put her hands around her mother, but couldn't bring herself to do so. Her mother let go with a hurt look. "You didn't hug back?"

"Mom, I'm sorry, but I have to go back. My friends need me." She shook her head in despair.

"More than your own mother?" Michelle demanded. "How could you? I'm more important than any of your friends!"

"Yeah, more than you." She narrowed her eyes. "If you really loved me, you'd support my decisions like my friends and my.. new father do. Payton supports my decisions more than you and she almost forced me to come here. You know what? I don't resent Payton anymore for this. I actually feel bad for her, because has to live with you."

She grabbed her bag and punched in the keys on her morpher. "Bye mom." Suddenly, she disappeared, leaving Michelle in shock on her doorstep.

~PRDS~

Reese was thrown back once more and growled, stabbing the sword in his hand into the ground in anger. "This guys is tough." He commented, looking at the others who nodded in agreement and pulled him to his feet.

"Maybe you should stop. We can fall back. He's too tough and you're not a ranger. You're a civilian with your brother's sword and blaster." Mason said.

Reese opened his mouth to say something, when a voice interrupted him. "He might not be, but I am." Standing behind Batissier was the pink ranger, holding her blaster to his back. She set it to the highest setting and blasted him apart.

"How's that?" She asked as she ran over to her friends.

The five cheered and hugged Robin, but their celebration was short lived when Batissier grew back large.

Robin was about to call for her Zord when a new gray Zord came rushing in. It was a larger Zord than any of their Zords, even Alice's. It used it's long neck to bash around the monster and made short work out of it when it blasted the monster into dust.

The six on the ground watched as the Zord then retreated and no new ranger was seen.

Yep, that's where I ended it. The next chapter will basically be a filler chapter, but will lead up to what is going to happen in the mid-season special coming up after that. Be ready, because it might begin to get a bit confusing.

Next time on Power Ranger Dino Squad: Mason learns that overconfidence isn't always a key to winning a battle when he gets himself, Matt, and Alice captured by a mysterious force. Meanwhile, Reese and Nathan are taken by Chaos without the ranger's knowledge.
