I'm so excited! I've been waiting for this for a long time. This is a big chapter for ranger appearances. Oh, and I forgot to mention that something else big will happen in this chapter, but it'll be a surprise ;). Now, I need to respond to a review from a guest,
Guest: Thank you for your questions. I will answer them to the best of my abilities without revealing anything that will be in the future. For your first question, I can't tell you if Will is the Navy ranger yet, but you will find out in one of these three parts and while I'm not using the same names from the actual show Power Rangers: Dino Charge, I am using the same suits, so assume that the color that corresponds to the ranger suit in the show is the same one. Now, Reese is the silver ranger. Nathan is the gray (or graphite) ranger. And all I can tell you about Reese and Nathan becoming rangers is that they have been rangers for a long while up until this point. Their backstory will be revealed soon enough.
Now, here's the special!
"Spencer?" Jesse asked, tapping his shoulder.
"Huh?" He asked, looking up from the floor. He had been spacing out. Ever since his brother and Nathan were captured by Chaos, it was obvious that the Deboss army wanted something with them, and it worried Spencer, especially after Kyro sent the two home.
"What's wrong?" Jesse gave him a worried look, and it kind of annoyed Spencer. He knew that ever since what happened he was more of a concern to the others than they were to each other, but it irritated him that they were always seeming to pity him.
"Nothing. I'm just worried about Reese." Spencer answered, hiding his irritation. "I mean, if Chaos too him, there must be something he wants from him, and I can't seem to figure out what."
"He'll be fine, Spence. I mean, he's a tough dude. He's fought in ranger battles before! Unmorphed!" Jesse exclaimed.
"That doesn't mean he was successful, and anyway, he doesn't have anything to morph into."
Jesse chuckled. "You never know. I mean, it seems like these days rangers are just popping up everywhere!"
Spencer furrowed his brow. Jesse may have been half-joking, but he was right. New rangers were just popping up left and right. In the past six months, they went from the original five rangers to eight, and that's not even counting the time Kimberly came back and was a ranger for a day. It was possible that Reese could be a ranger, but Spencer didn't even wanna think about that. Reese may be the older brother, but Spencer was still very overprotective of his brother, especially after Reese got stabbed.
"That would be one of my worst nightmares." Spencer admitted. "That or him dying."
"Him being a ranger would be as bad as him dying?" Jesse raised an eyebrow at his best friend.
"He was stabbed by a monster before, Jesse. He's not safe. Especially not after being kidnapped by Choas' goons."
Jesse opened his mouth to speak, but he was cut off by the alarm. The two boys stood up and walked out the door in time to see Matt, Mason, and Alice limping quickly towards the battle scene, which they could surprisingly see from AD.
"Is that the monster?" Robin asked, as she, Scott, and James came out of the building.
"I think so." Matt answered. "Let's go."
"Are sure its safe for you guys? You're injured." Scott commented, holding them back.
"We're going." Mason told him, removing Scott's arm from holding them back.

Meanwhile, in Deboss' castle, Chaos sat in the throne room and looked at the navy ranger with a smirk on his face. "Are you sure you can capture them?"
"Positive. Once we demorph them, Kokodoko can send them to the maze. They'll never be able to escape."
"But you said you had another idea." Chaos said, intrigued.
Navy smirked behind him helmet. "Oh yeah. The blue ranger has a history of.. problems. So we're gonna keep him here to face off against the silver and gray rangers. It'll break him to find out who they are."
"Why is this?"
"The silver ranger is his brother. He'll never be able to handle it if he finds out he was fighting and potentially hurting his brother."
"Excellent. And with his spirit broken, you'll be able to destroy him while the others will be destroyed in the Death Maze."
Navy nodded. "Precisely."

When the rangers got to the battle, they immediately noticed that something was wrong. On the monitors, it had said that there was a high-level monster attacking with three even higher-level beings along with it, but as they got to the battle, all they saw were Zorima. And a lot of them.
"What the hell?" Jesse muttered under his breath. "There's a whole army here." He turned to look at the others, who seemed just about as baffled as he was. "This never happened before." He voiced aloud, looking worried.
"This is crazy." Robin agreed, nodding. "Matt, I think we should fall back, especially with you three injured."
"We're fine." Matt growled. "We can take them."
"Can you?" A voice came from their right, and the rangers immediately turned and got into defensive stances, but soon saw three other rangers standing there and froze.
Mason nudged Alice. "I told you." Alice seemed troubled by this statement.
"Who are you?" Spencer asked, looking them over. Something seemed familiar about two of them, but the navy ranger, who seemed to be their leader, didn't. In fact, it was almost like he was radiating evil.
The three rangers looked at him and paused, almost like they were looking to find all of his weaknesses just by his exterior. Then, Navy turned and whispered something to the silver ranger and then to the gray ranger. Both nodded.
Navy unsheathed his sword and held it toward the other rangers. "I suggested you run."
"Not a chance. Ready?"
"Ready!"
"Dino Squad, Power Up!"
"Power of the Tyrannosaurus!"
"Power of the Parasaurolophus!"
"Power of the Stegosaurus!"
"Power of the Velociraptor!"
"Power of the Triceratops!"
"Power of the Pterodactyl!"
"Power of the Ankylosaurus!"
"Power of the Plesiosaurus!"
The rangers took out their swords and blasters, pointing them dangerously at the three new rangers. Matt turned to the others. "Scott, Spencer, and I will handle them, you guys go for the Zorima."
The others nodded and ran into battle while Matt, Scott, and Spencer got into defensive positions against the navy, gray, and silver rangers respectively.
"Hah!" The navy ranger laughed. "You think you three could take us on one on one?" He shook his head in fake disappointment. "You rangers aren't as smart as we thought."
"You underestimate us, but that'll be your downfall." Matt threatened, and suddenly the battle was on.
Matt ran forward, blasting at the navy ranger, but the other boy ducked and swiveled out of the way of the shots before somersaulting on the ground and popping up in front of Matt, slashing him as he came up and slashing him as he came down. Matt's suit sparked and he fell back, clutching his chest.
The navy ranger laughed. "I told you; you're not gonna be able to defeat us one on one. You won't even be able to defeat us with your whole team in tow."
The red ranger stood up, hunched over a bit from the blow he was just dealt, and was breathing heavily. He took a long look at the navy ranger, trying to see any weakspots, but when he didn't find any, he cursed under his breath. I guess I'll just have to defeat him the old fashioned way. Matt blasted him when he started to talk again and the navy ranger flew back, landing hard on the ground, letting out a cross between a pained groan and a laugh.
"You're good, red ranger." He said, before reaching at his side. "But not good enough." He grabbed a smaller blaster out of a holster Matt hadn't even seen. He shot Matt, who was thrown back and demorphed from the amount of power. The navy ranger walked over to him and smirked as Matt looked up at him, bruised and battered. "You'll never beat me." He then snapped his fingers and Kokodoko showed up. Matt gasped as was about to yell out to his other friends, whom hadn't noticed yet, but Kokodoko slammed his staff into the grassy ground, making a portal open beneath him, dropping him through with a cry.
The rangers fighting the Zorima had finished them off, but were exhausted. Suddenly, a monster rammed into them, throwing them back and demorphing them. A large portal opened before they hit the ground, and they fell through it.
Meanwhile, Scott and Spencer were still occupied fighting the gray and silver rangers.
The gray ranger flipped up as Scott made a sweep at his feet and kicked him down as he came down. Scott quickly recovered and unsheathed his sword, making a stab at the gray ranger, who jumped back and landed his feet against a tree before launching himself at the tree and onto Scott, tackling the boy to the floor. He made a move to choke the black ranger, but Scott held up his sword to the gray ranger's throat, causing the gray ranger to back off a bit.
"You wouldn't wanna hurt me, now would you, babe?" He asked, smirking under his helmet when Scott's breath caught in his throat from shock.
"Nate?" He asked in a hurt whisper, remembering back to Dr. Parker.
He didn't have much time to remember though, as Nathan got off of him, grabbed his arm and swung him into a tree head first, demorphing him and making him severely disoriented. Kokodoko hit his staff on the grass and Scott disappeared through a portal.
Spencer, distracted by his fight with the silver ranger, - who seemed to be the strongest one of the three - didn't notice until that moment that all of his friends were gone. He stood, breathing heavily and looking around in horror, but his friends weren't there. He looked to the navy and gray rangers standing with Kokodoko and laughing, and his fist clenched.
Then he remembered back to a hot summer day almost ten years ago when some bullies were picking on his friends. Reese was a bit behind him, watching as well, but he had a calm look on his face as opposed to Spencer, who was very angry, and a lot different from the Spencer today. Spencer's fists clenched and he wanted to go over and help his friends, and he was going to. He wanted to go over there and give those bullies a piece of his mind, but Reese put a hand on his shoulder and shook his head.
"Don't, Spence. You'll only make it worse." Reese said, keeping his calm composure.
"But, Reese! They're hurting my friends!" Spencer cried, gesturing to them with his small hands.
"I know," Reese soothed. "But, you getting angry won't help you. You just gotta keep calm and handle things with real confidence that isn't driven by anger."
Spencer hadn't believed him that day, and ended up getting his wrist broken and getting Reese bruised and bloody. He always believed his brother after that. His brother hadn't lied to him, and he never had.
Spencer took a deep breath and regained his composure, unclenching his fist and turning to the silver ranger. "Who are you?" He asked, a bit breathless.
The silver ranger was leaning down with his hands on his knees after having the breath knocked out of him by Spencer's last attack. He tilted his head up and looked at Spencer, knowing who he was and knowing deep inside that he shouldn't hurt him, but he couldn't seem to take control of his actions or words. Whatever he tried to say or do came out the opposite.
"Who do you think?" He asked, his voice a bit hoarse. He had avoided talking until now, knowing Spencer would recognize his voice, but now Spencer wasn't attacking and therefore the silver ranger didn't have to do much at the moment.
Spencer's breath caught in his throat as he found himself being unable to breathe. The whole world he had created after everything came crashing down around him. He felt exactly like he did on that fateful day, except he felt like he had died, instead of having people save him. He felt like this was hell. Maybe he had died and this was just torture in hell. But then he realized, it wasn't hell. It was real life, and he didn't like it. He would rather be in hell, away from a place in which he was just fighting and possibly injuring his brother and vise-versa.
Finally, he caught his breath and was able to utter the silver ranger's name. "Reese?" It was a hoarse, broken question that sounded more like a statement than a question, but it was out in the open now, and the silver ranger had no choice but to nod.
It was then that Spencer realized that Reese couldn't have just gotten these powers. Reese had fought in ranger battles before, and while he had gotten thrown around, bruised, battered, and bloody, there was just something about the way Reese went into it and did it that made Spencer know that this was not the first time he had worn this suit, and that worried him. After Reese got stabbed almost right after Spencer had become a ranger, the blue ranger realized how dangerous it was for his brother and had worried every time Reese got involved or even just when there was a battle that Reese was far away from.
It was getting hard for him to breathe again. He felt trapped. Like restraints were holding him back, not only hurting himself, but then holding his brother in the same position on the wall in front of him.
He needed to get to AD. It was becoming to hard to handle. Spencer saw all the villains watching him intently, trying to see what his next move would be, and knew he wouldn't be able to go to AD with them watching him. They'd follow him.
Suddenly, however, he felt a strange sensation and appeared in the infirmary at AD, away from the battle. Spencer demorphed in front of Kyro, and the extraterrestrial could see the tears and hurt in his eyes and his whole face.
"Spencer, it's not the end of world." Kyro tried, putting his hands up as Spencer suddenly became very angry and, out of character, the blue ranger came over and slammed him into the wall.
"You try not knowing that the villain you're fighting is actually your brother." Spencer hissed. "Now, I have some questions." He suddenly let go of Kyro and stepped back a bit, with the being still in shock.

"What's our next move?" Nathan asked as the three demorphed and stood with Kokodoko. The navy ranger demorphed to be wearing a cloak, and Nathan rolled his eyes, pulling the hood of the cloak. "Oh stop, Will. You don't need that when no one's around."
Will sighed and straightened out his cloak. "I like this cloak for your information, Nathan." He huffed. "But, more importantly, the three of us have to get going."
"My thoughts exactly." Reese smiled. Deep down, he was glad to be getting away from hurting Spencer, but the spell that was place on him and Nathan was strong, and the evil side of him was still thinking about ways to hurt Spencer, and it scared him. He hoped Spencer would come up with a solution soon.
"Oh, no." Will put a hand on his chest, stopping him from moving further. "When I say three, I don't mean you. I mean Nathan, Kokodoko, and I. You're staying to fight your brother."
"My brother?" He asked, a hint of worry in his voice that shook Will's composure a bit.
"Are you coming back? Cause I can fix that. I already fixed Nathan." He said, gesturing to the boy in front of him. "It'll take a lot to get him back." He chuckled.
"No, I'm fine. My brother, it is." Reese said, having a calm, monotonous expression on his face.
Will smirked. "Good. I'll be watching you from my monitor to make sure of that."
