Last time on Power Rangers Dino Squad

Deboss watched the rangers from his thrown and smirked while shaking his head. "Those pathetic rangers think they're winning, but they're wrong. One tiny wrong move will set them off course."

Aigaron, Dogold, and Endolf entered the room, bowing to their leader. "Sir, why did you call us?" Dogold asked as the three stood back up and waited for instructions.

"How is the project coming along?" Deboss asked, instead of answering their question.

"Well, sir. Your son has been restored through the energy of all your prisoners, except Chaos." Endolf reported.

"I see." Deboss nodded. "Good. I believe the end is near, and in the final battle, I will prove to be victorious."

In the other room, where the prison cells were, Chaos listened to them when someone entered the room.

"Will." Chaos sneered. "You will be defeated, and I will absorb you to become the most powerful creature in existence. After that, I will defeat the rangers myself and prove myself to Deboss as the best general he has."

Will smirked, restored to his full form by the energy of the remaining monsters. "We'll see about that, Chaos. After all, how could you destroy me when you can even break out of the cell?"

Will dangled the keys in his hand and then threw them in front of Chaos' cell, just a bit too far for Chaos to reach. Then, he turned and left.

"Foolish boy," Chaos shook his head. "Deboss is not your father, and you will not succeed in destroying the rangers." He smirked evilly. "That's my job."

Now

"I can't believe it," Robin smiled widely as the she, Aria, Alice, and Anna all gathered in her room. "It's finally prom night!"

"Wait," Aria said, frowning. "How are you and Alice even going? I mean, you guys are sophomores."

"Our dates got us guest passes," Alice said, a smile gracing her lips. "I am so excited for this! Can you imagine how beautiful the room is gonna be?"

"Gorgeous." Aria responded. "I went last year, and it was perfect. You don't even know. Reese and I danced all night, until we were kicked out." She laughed.

"Why were you kicked out?" Anna asked, speaking up for the first time since she'd arrived.

Aria chuckled, "When I said we danced all night long, I meant it. The security guards eventually had to kick us out because prom was over and we hadn't left yet."

The girls all laughed. Meanwhile, the guys were all rallied together in the living room, and unlike the girls, they were all ready in their tuxedos for the night ahead of them.

"It's finally here." Matt said, a bit nervously. James had been staring him down all day, mostly because he was taking his best friend, whom he seemed to be fiercely protective of.

"Yep." Jesse nodded.

The room was filled with an awkward silence. None of the guys knew what to say, and they all just looked around the room. Spencer nudged his brother, who was the only one who went to prom before now. Scott almost went the year before, but he backed out when his date found someone else.

"Tell us about it," Spencer said, breaking the silence.

"About prom?" Reese asked, and the other guys nodded fearfully. Reese laughed. "It's nothing to be afraid of. Just think of it like any other kind of dance on any other given day.

"Any other given day consists of monsters, so I'd rather not." Scott input, and Reese laughed once again.

"Don't worry about it," Reese assured them. "If monsters appear we'll take care of them like we always do and then we'll enjoy ourselves. Besides, even if the whole room is filled with monsters, it's worth it. Trust me."

"We haven't actually seen any monsters lately." Nathan pointed out, a worried expression on his face. "Maybe we should be worried."

"Like Reese said," Matt spoke up, "We'll handle it like we always do."

"Handling things like we always do always happens to get someone hurt."

"It'll be fine." Matt held up his hand.

Just then a flash of light all blinded them and they groaned when they saw Liela poking her head into the room with a smile and a camera. "You guys look so good!"

"Is there a reason you came in here?" Jesse asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Robin told me to tell you guys to go to prom, and that they will meet you there." Liela said, before smiling even wider and taking another picture of them before running out of the room.

"She needs to calm down." Jesse muttered. "So, how are we gonna get there?"

Reese drove himself, Spencer, and Jesse to the dance, which was being held at a local building which was often rented out for parties and dances. He parked and looked at the two, "Are you guys ready?"

"Ready as we'll ever be," Spencer nodded and the three got out.

Jesse shut the back door and immediately jumped back when Scott pulled up next to them and nearly hit him. The black ranger jumped out of the car and looked over the hood. "Sorry, Jesse, are you alright?"

"Fantastic," Jesse sighed as he picked himself up and dusted himself off. Nathan got out of the other side.

"Where's Matt and James?" Spencer asked, and as if on cue, Matt and James got out of the back of Scott's car.

"I figured we should give them a ride." Scott smirked, looking at James who was still glaring at Matt, who was trying not to look at the gold ranger.

"Where are the girls?" Jesse asked, looking around with a smile on his face. Then he spotted them and his jaw dropped. He began to tap Spencer to grab his attention, who glared at him until he followed his gaze and his jaw dropped as well. Reese, Matt, and James followed suit, while Nathan and Scott smiled at them.

The four walked in a line Anna on one end and Aria on the other with Alice next to Anna and Robin next to Aria.

Anna was wearing a long red dress that slightly hugged her figure. The dress had long sleeves had of a sheer material that made it look like she was wearing a strapless dress with a top underneath. There was a slit going from the middle of the left thigh down to the floor and Matt could see her red pumps. Her hair was done half up and straightened and she had a slight shine to her face.

Alice was wearing a long light purple strapless dress that hugged her upper body until her waist and then flowed out to the ground. It swayed around her feet as she walked and her pastel purple heels just slightly poked out from under her dress. The upper part of her dress had sequins that shined every time she passed under a light. Her hair was elegantly braided back to where it came into a bun.

Robin was wearing a long pastel pink strapless mermaid dress that hugged her body tightly and flowed out at the bottom. The top had sequins similarly to Alice's dress and her shoes were pastel pink. Her eyes shimmered with light pink eyeshadow and her lips shined with lip gloss. Her hair was half up and half down and elegantly curled .

Finally, Aria was wearing a light aqua blue strapless dress. Her dress was tight and short, but had a long sheer layer that started at her waist in the front and flowed back behind her. The top of her dress had a x across it and had two sequined patches diagonal from each other. Her shoes were silver and complimented her legs perfectly. Her hair was curled and pulled to the side.

The girls walked up to them and smirked. "You guys look great." Robin smiled. She walked over to Scott and nudged him and Nathan. "You guys look so cute," She squealed. "You better get your pictures taken, cause I want one."

"Thanks." Scott smiled and the three hugged. "Am I gonna get some time with my beautiful girlfriend, or are you guys gonna take her off my hands?" Jesse joked, smiling as he walked over to them.

"Oh well, if you insist," Nathan smirked, grabbing Robin's arm and pulling her in between him and Scott. "We're totally fine with it."

The four laughed. Robin walked over to Jesse and he held out his arm for her. "Would you like to go inside?" He asked, staring at her to take in her beauty.

Robin looked around and saw that everyone else had gone inside and laughed with a nod as she took his arm. "I would love to."

The two went in and Robin stared in awe. The ceiling was decorated with stars and a large moon in the middle. There were Christmas tree lights hanging from the ceiling and strung all around the room.

"Wow, 'A Night Under The Stars', nice." He smiled, then twirled Robin around. Robin laughed as she came back towards him and kissed him. "You're amazing."

"I'm amazing? Just look at you. I could spend everyday with you, listening to you talk and looking at you and just spending time with you. You're the one who's amazing."

Robin felt herself tear up and hugged Jesse tightly. "I love you."

Jesse froze for a second, as they had never utter that specific word before. Then, he hugged her back, "I love you too."

Matt and Anna danced silently. James was still watching them from afar, and Matt was trying to ignore him, though it was getting hard. Anna leaned her head on his shoulder and his hands slipped down a bit to her waist instead of her mid back. James stood up from where he was sitting and forcefully pulled Matt's hands up. Anna pulled away and glared at him.

"Don't you see we're trying to dance, Jimmy?" Anna growled. "Leave us alone."

"I don't want you to get hurt. You do realize we belong in the future, right? If you get too into it, you'll never be able to get over it when we go back." James argued, ignoring Matt, who was trying to speak up.

"Well, maybe I don't wanna go back. Leave us alone." She turned back to Matt, but knew he was still behind her. "Go!" She pushed him back slightly and pulled herself into Matt. The red ranger gave James an apologetic look, but it was ignored as the gold ranger stormed out to get some air.

"I'm sorry," Anna said, pulling away and looking up at him.

"It's fine, Anna." Matt told her, putting his hands on her shoulders. Trying to change the subject, he said, "I like your dress. Red, huh?" His eyes sparkled playfully and she laughed.

"I figured since I didn't have a color, I might as well wear yours." Anna smiled.

Matt nodded. "Thanks."

Meanwhile, Spencer and Alice sat at a table, eating some food that they had been served from the caterers. "This is really nice."

"Yeah," Spencer nodded. "You know, I was pretty nervous about coming here today, but I'm really glad I did. I mean, this is great."

"Yeah, and it only cost $80." Alice smirked, and they both laughed.

Spencer looked around, trying to spot the others. He saw Robin and Jesse laughing and spinning each other around, Scott and Nathan making out on a bench near the door, Matt and Anna dancing and talking, and Reese and Aria slow dancing while they talked to each other. He had previously seen James leave the room, and assumed he was just getting some fresh air. Everyone looked so happy, and it made him smile. In the year that they had been rangers, everyone had changed so much, for better or worse, but tonight it seemed as if nothing that had previously hurt them was causing any problems. They finally had a break.

Then, every happy thought Spencer was thinking disappeared. "Holy shit." He whispered as he stared into the crowd, knowing who he saw. The person was eyeing Nathan, but seemed to know he was already dead and that there wasn't anything he could do to him. Then, he looked at Reese and Spencer automatically responded. He stood and walked quickly over to his brother, Alice behind him asking questions, but he wasn't responding to her. He pulled his brother away from Aria and looked around frantically, seeing the person get closer.

"Reese, we have to get the others and go. Now." Spencer said fearfully.

"Why?" Reese asked, and when Spencer didn't respond, he grabbed his brother's shoulders. "Why, Spencer?"

"I don't have time to explain!" Spencer grabbed his brother's arm and tugged, but the silver ranger stayed where he was standing. "Please. I'll explain once we get..."

He was cut of by another voice, "Hello, Reese. Nice to see you on your feet. I have to say I'm surprised, considering everything."

Reese froze, a horrified expression on his face. "Will?"

Alice and Aria backed away slightly, and Alice whispered something to Aria, who nodded and walked away quickly.

"I see you're having a good time." Will smirked as Reese turned around. "You look terrified, Reese, calm down." He patted Reese's shoulder, and Spencer immediately smacked his hand away.

"Don't touch my brother." Spencer growled, glaring at him.

Will seemed amused. "Spencer, calm down. We're just having a friendly conversa..." His eyes suddenly widened and he clenched his teeth in pain when a hand clasped around his upper arm.

"Demon, what are you doing here?" It was Anna, and her hand was glowing with power.

"Just.. having.. conversation!" Will gasped out as he tried his hardest not to cry out in pain.

Anna began to feel weak from using her power and just before Will would've dropped dead, Anna collapsed into Matt's arms, still half-conscious. The others looked alarmed, and Will smirked weakly.

"You can't.. beat me." His eyes turned fully black and he reached for Anna, but Reese stepped in front of her. "Take her outside. I think we have some unfinished business."

Matt nodded and took her out, but Aria put a hand on his shoulder. "We can't fight here."

"Maybe you can't," Will smirked evilly. "But I can." He grabbed Reese's arm and began to drain his power, which was connected to his life force. Spencer was confused for a moment as to what Will was doing, but he saw his brother's facial expression change and immediately grabbed Will's arm, which caused his power to begin to drain as well.

"Guys!" Jesse ran through the crowd and shoved Will to the ground. Reese and Spencer swayed and crashed into each other, using the other person to help keep standing.

"What's going on?" Alice asked as she and Aria attempted to help the brothers, who waved them off, saying they could keep each other up.

"Look!" Robin pointed to a large black mass that came in through the window.

"Oh no," Alice whispered as it began to separate and go into anyone it could find. People were trying to avoid the smoke, but it got anyone who couldn't make it out the door in time.

Scott and Nathan ran over to them. "What's happening?"

Will got up on his knees and laughed at them. "Just how the world is supposed to be! Demons arise!" The people still in the room's eyes turned completely black and they stood behind Will.

"Surrender or be destroyed, it's your choice rangers!" Will yelled, standing up.
