Chapter 7-Tanaku vs. Kitsune, Hinata vs. Neji.
Now in the arena of the preliminary as the four members of team 7: Naruto, Haku, Kin and Tayuya, (the 2 latter of whom were assigned to the team by the Sandaime Hokage, after they were inducted into the Konoha shinobi forces) faced down the team from Suna: Temari, Kankaro and Gaara, where just minutes after the proctor called, "Hajimaru," Naruto slams his bloodline filter and calls, "Fox9," which engulf's him in a golden chakra, that reflects the sand from Gaara's Suna Tsunami, before Naruto looks at Gaara in a challenging way, where he then commands, "Alright Shukaku, no holding back: you and me, Ichibi vs. Kyuubi, lets go," as he dashes forwards, flying threw hand seals and then he cast, "Bijuu: Katon; Kitsunebi," to form the fire fox grenades, to shower Gaara, whom in which raised the Suna no Heki and the impact of the fireball created glass, that shattered.
As the fierce battle began to heat up, remaining members of the teams fighting, had decided to just let Gaara and Naruto fight decide the passing team, while the battle then kicked to the next level and as Gaara sand armor mutated into a small facsimile of the Ichibi's beast form, while Naruto commanded, "Mangekyō Kyugan," which changed his eyes to that of a foxes before intoning, "Susano'o," generating a goldish silver ribcage and 4 arms, that wielded a twin claw weapons, as well as twin fang weapons, both of which were made of condense black fire.
(A.N. Naruto's Susano'o is not the full sized one, but the human sized one used by Sasuke in the third Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm game, but with 4 arms.)
The ensuing after the invoking of their highest achievable, had Naruto and Gaara battling fang against fang, claw to claw and Sunaton vs. Enton, but only Gaara was receiving any damage, due to the solid defense given by the: Ribcage of Susano'o Naruto could not be touched. After several hours, both Gaara and Naruto were beginning to show signs of fatigue, as they both then called forth their most powerful attacks: the Bijuudama, but at a small hand held scale, where they then thrusted the ball into the each others chest, launching them both backwards and forcing them to crumple to the ground, with their techniques dispersing and it was then shown 10 minutes later, as Naruto stood up that team 7 had won and were to be advancing the finals.
After the battle, Hinata then threw herself into the arms of Naruto and Haku, kissing them both on the lips, much to the scowls of: Kin and Tayuya, which changed after they too were assaulted, in a hug by the navy haired Hyuga, before they settled in to watch the remaining genins fight until it was Hinata turn and during the that had gone by, was the one that had Kiba face up against Yugito of Kumo, whom attacked with the ferociousness that is know to all women, whom are insulted and/or have been leered at pervertedly, in this situation however it was both, as Kiba had managed to insult her saying, "You may smell like a wet cat, but you are hot," as he made a cupping action with his hands, while implying that he like to grope his opponent (cue glares from all women in the tower, along with face palms from the entire male population, after he said and did that.)
Then it was the fight after Shikamaru's, that yielded the battle pairing of: Hyuga Hinata and Hyuga Neji, which where after a kiss of good luck from Haku and Naruto, brought Hinata down to the arena and then 2 seconds later spurred the arrival of Neji, whom of which immediately began to belittle Hyuga, in to quitting, but before he could begin to mention how he was fated to win, Hinata had cut in and said, "Fate rules nothing Neji-neesan, or if it did then Naruto-kun would have been kill simply for been a jinchūriki and as you can plainly see he is alive and kicking," before she shifted into her strongest taijutsu stance: Enerugī ken, while allowing her hands to burst into an aura of lavender chakra, startling the Head of the Hyuga and father of Hinata (as he and the clan head observed the exams from a recording device).
Now with Neji, as he bushes off the foreboding appearance of his cousin, believing to be a genjutsu and settled into his Juken stance, before he signaled the proctor that he was ready. Once the command to start was issued, Neji charged in expecting his first strike to finish her quickly, but that was not to be as Hinata, slashed her hand horizontally commanding, "Senpō: Mamoru no Jutsu," creating a shield, that had Neji bouncing backwards, as he impacted the barrier, then Hinata fashions an energy shuriken, which she then throws saying, "Senpō: Nokogiri shuriken," which is where the blade pierced Neji clothing and pinned him to the wall.
After been pinned to the wall, Neji became enraged and red flooded his vision, which was where he then took out the shuriken and had then taken a low stance declaring, "You are within my ranger of divination: Hakke Rokujūyon Shō," as he began his attack on Hinata, whom performed with the command, "Shugohakke Rokujūyon Shō," which encircled her form with lances of harden chakra blades, which were then used to block Neji's oncoming attack, the after in which after completion caused Neji to faint, showing he had in the fit of rage he was in, forced him to use too much chakra and he became exhausted.
