Willoffire123: Where is everyone?

Kendall: Locked in the stadium, remember? They're all getting ready for Sakura's big fight.

Willoffire123: Okay, but why is Carlos here?

Carlos: HEY! I have feelings too, you know. I'll even do the disclaimer! Willoffire123 doesn't own Naruto or Big Time Rush.

Kendall: Because we're not in the stadium.

Willoffire123: Then where are you?

Carlos: Isn't that your job to know?

Kendall: And shouldn't you be studying?

Willoffire123: Meh, by the time this is up online, exams will be loooonnnggg over anyway.

Kendall

"They're fast," panted Carlos as the two boys sprinted after the two strangely dressed men.

"No duh, Captain Obvious," panted Kendall.

Thankfully, or not, their targets stopped running, turned, and waited for Kendall and Carlos to catch up.

"Do you punks have a death wish?" demanded Duck-Butt.

"Hold on, Sasuke," said Orange Jumpsuit boy. "Why are you following us?"

"Well, umm, we, uh," spluttered Carlos.

"You were going the same way we were going," Kendall interjected. "And your clothes are pretty weird."

"Like Sakura!" added Carlos.

In an instant, Duck-Butt, err, Sasuke held Carlos in the air by his shirt collar again.

"Where is Sakura?" he snarled.

"Sasuke, stop," said Orange Jumpsuit boy. "You swore you'd stop hurting innocent people, remember? You swore to Sakura."

That did it. Sasuke lowered Carlos to the ground, never taking his eyes off him.

"Sorry about that," said Orange Jumpsuit boy with a sheepish grin. "We got off on the wrong foot. Let us introduce ourselves again. My name is Naruto Uzumaki."

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha," said Sasuke.

"We're looking for a friend of ours," said Naruto. "She went missing two months ago. Her name is Sakura Haruno."

"We know Sakura," Kendall said slowly. "She showed up two months ago as our new bodyguard."

"Bodyguard?" inquired Sasuke.

"We're half of this world-famous boy band, Big Time Rush," said Carlos.

"Never heard of it," said Naruto. "But you said Sakura's been your bodyguard for two months now?"

"Has she displayed any abnormal abilities?" asked Sasuke.

"Can we take this inside?" pleaded Kendall. In the thrill of the moment, his adrenaline spurred him through the chase. Now, standing on the street, with the sun blaring down on their heads, Kendall remembered just how much his head, chest and shoulder hurt. The pain made his head spin in dizzying circles.

Kendall staggered, and Carlos caught him.

"What's wrong with him?" asked Naruto.

"He's concussed," said Carlos.

"Then let's take this inside," said Sasuke, indicating the coffee shop they stood in front of. Sasuke took Kendall's other side and the four boys slipped into the coffee shop.

"Now then," said Sasuke. "Has Sakura ever displayed any abnormal abilities?"

"We know you're ninjas," said Kendall, too busy focusing on the pain in his head to notice their reaction.

Thankfully, Carlos was there to explain.

"Sakura takes her bodyguard job really seriously," he started. "She wanted to test how we reacted to real life situations, so she kidnapped Kendall, and led us to him."

"That's when I dislocated my shoulder," said Kendall through gritted teeth. If he focused all his energy on one spot, he could block out the pounding in his head. So he focused on Naruto's face. "She put her hand on my shoulder, and it glowed green. Then the pain went away."

"She explained to us who she was, where she was from, and offered to train us," said Carlos. "We've been learning self-defense from her ever since."

"Just self-defense?" asked Sasuke.

"Yeah," said Carlos.

"That would explain how you kept up with us," said Naruto. "You're probably wondering why we're here."

"Isn't it obvious?" asked Kendall, having finally expelled the building pain in his head. "To find Sakura and bring her back with you to Japan."

Naruto blinked, taken aback. "Well, yeah. You wouldn't happen to know where she is now, would you?"

"With our friends, James and Logan at the stadium," said Carlos. "We're supposed to meet them there for Sound Check."

"We can take you there," offered Kendall.

"What's going on with that weird box?" asked Naruto, pointing at a TV in the corner.

The four teens focused on the TV.

"This just in," said the reporter. "A huge box of purple energy has encased the downtown stadium. Now we take you live on the scene with Gina. What's the situation there, Gina?"

The scene changed, showing the stadium where Kendall knew his friends were entrapped in a box of purple energy. The howling wind, the crackle of electricity and the sound of explosions drowned the terrified reporter's voice out.

Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a concerned look.

"What's going on?" demanded Kendall.

"Nothing important," Naruto said lamely.

"Nothing important?" Carlos said in disbelief. "If you're trying to keep us away from your awesome ninja lives you're doing a terrible job."

"Our friends are in there, Naruto, Sasuke," said Kendall. "If they're in trouble, we'd like to know."

"Fine," said Sasuke.

"They're not really in trouble though, you know," said Naruto. "If Sakura said she'd protect them, then she'll protect them."

"But you seem to be worried about her," said Kendall.

"Sakura's our friend too," said Carlos. "If she's in trouble, we still want to help."

"You can help us get in there," said Sasuke. "The last time we saw this particular jutsu was when my mentor, Orochimaru fought the Third Hokage."

"Leader of our village," explained Naruto.

"How did you break it?" asked Carlos.

"We couldn't," admitted Sasuke. "The barrier only came down when the people who cast it took it down."

"By then the Hokage was already dead," said Naruto.

"So you're saying that whoever put that barrier up won't take it down until James, Logan, Sakura and everyone else in the stadium are dead?" said Kendall, his head throbbing in protest to the excitement.

"Let's get there first to assess the situation," said Sasuke.

"We should get moving then," said Carlos, making to leave.

"We have a faster way," said Naruto. "Sasuke, you get Kendall; I've got Carlos."

"Don't tell me what to do, Baka," grumbled Sasuke. He grabbed onto Kendall anyway.

Before Kendall could protest or even ask what they were doing, his vision went dark, refocusing outside the stadium.

Naruto

The two teens scrambled away from Sasuke and Naruto, spluttering in disbelief.

"Honestly," said Naruto, unimpressed. "It's like you've never seen a teleportation jutsu before."

"Baka, that's because they haven't," said Sasuke.

"I knew that, teme!" Naruto snapped.

"We need to get out of here," said Kendall, pointing at an oncoming group of reporters. "Now."

Naruto grabbed onto Kendall and jumped onto the roof of the nearest building, Sasuke and Carlos following them.

"You have GOT to stop doing that," said Carlos, brushing himself off.

"Sasuke, have you found them yet?" asked Naruto, studying the mass of dark energy encasing the stadium.

Sasuke, having activated his Sharingan, ignored him.

"I know I'm going to regret asking," started Kendall, sliding down the wall to the ground. "But what's wrong with his eyes?"

"It's a family trait called a Kekkei Genkai," said Naruto. "It basically gives him 360-degree vision and x-ray vision. But Kendall, are you going to be alright? If you feel anything less than 110% then that puts you in greater danger."

Using the wall, Kendall pushed himself to his feet. "I'll be fine. What are we still doing here? Our friends are in trouble."

"We have a problem," Sasuke interjected.

"Did you find them?" asked Naruto.

"That's the problem," said Sasuke. "They aren't there."

"Who isn't there?" asked Carlos, looking puzzled.

"The four postmen," said Naruto. "They're the cornerstones of the jutsu. Without them, there must be an opening."

"So you're saying that the jutsu isn't fully completed?" asked Kendall. "What if it's a trick? What did Sakura call it? Ganjutsu?"

"Genjutsu," corrected Sasuke.

"Kendall, you're a genius," said Naruto.

Sasuke made a hand sign. "Release!"

Naruto did the same. "Did Sakura teach you anything about Chakra manipulation?"

"A little bit," Kendall said at the same time as Carlos said "No."

"I had to do something while you guys were sparring," said Kendall. "I think I know how to release a genjutsu."

Although he fumbled with his bandaged arm, Kendall managed to form the correct hand sign to release the genjutsu.

"Now do you see?" asked Naruto, gesturing at where the barrier used to be.

"Yes," said Kendall. "But how-,"

"Like you said, it's a genjutsu," said Sasuke. "This type of jutsu distorts reality, letting the mind believe something else entirely."

"It's time to go and save our friends," said Naruto, gesturing for Kendall to climb onto his back. "You coming?"

"We should hurry," said Carlos. "Even though I can still see the barrier…"

"What?" demanded Sasuke.

Kendall pointed at the stadium and Naruto followed his line of sight to the enormous creature's head sticking out above the stadium.

"SLUG!" Kendall and Carlos shouted in unison.

Sasuke smirked.

"The fight's just getting started," said Naruto with a grin. "Come on! Sakura's going to need back up!"

Willoffire123: Yay! It's done! And exams are over!

Kendall: Fantastic! Even if the exams you mentioned in the disclaimer happened a year ago.

Willoffire123: *Gulp* well if it helps, the exams I took last week are over too!

Kendall: *Face palm*

Willoffire123: I really am sorry though. I've kind of lost interest in this story. Especially since you guys seem to have lost interest in it. However, I made a promise to myself when I joined this website that I would finish every story that I started, and I'm going to do just that.

Kendall: So basically, until next time!
