Willoffire123: Why hello!

Naruto: It's about time you showed up.

Willoffire123: Yes, yes. I'm sorry I abandoned you for so long. I'm trying to get this done by the 13th, so I'd really appreciate you helping me achieve my goal.

James: Why the 13th?

Sakura: She published the story on the 13th

Kendall: Two years ago.

Willoffire123: That's right. If all goes to plan, this chapter, the final chapter, will come out on June 13th, 2015, exactly two years from when I uploaded the first chapter.

Carlos: So you mean…

Logan: We're actually done?

Willoffire123: Not yet, you're not. I still have to write the chapter.

Sasuke: Of course you do.

Willoffire123: What's that supposed to mean?
Sakura: Nothing! He didn't mean anything. Let's get a move on so we can all go home.

Willoffire123: Fair enough. I don't own Big Time Rush or Naruto.

Everyone: On with the chapter!

James

Everything happened pretty quickly after that.

The seven teenagers found their way to the hospital to see Kelley and get Kendall checked out.

"It's a miracle he didn't die at least a week ago," James remembered one doctor saying as he examined Kendall's MRI scan. "You're sure he hasn't been admitted before?"

Kelley was pale but thankfully alive. She wordlessly gave James' hand a reassuring squeeze before thanking Sakura profusely.

"I still think you guys owe us an explanation," Kelley told the pink-haired girl.

"I don't know what's left to explain, Kelley," said Sakura. "I'm a medical ninja sent here from the Land of Fire in Japan with my team to play bodyguard to some bigwig in DC. Somewhere along the way, I got separated from my team and ended up here. This is Naruto," she pointed at Naruto, who waved. "And Sasuke. They're my team."

"So, do you really have super powers?" asked Katie from Kendall's side. "I gotta say, I'm skeptic."

"Then how do you think Sakura brought your brother back from the brink of death?" asked Naruto amusedly.

"By being a good doctor?" Katie trailed off. "I guess so. But Kendall said you guys can summon giant animals! That is SO cool. Can you teach me?"

James saw the three Japanese teens exchange looks, so he decided that, being a virtuous person and all, he would help them out.

He knelt down to Katie's level and, looking her in the eyes, said "Katie, this kind of thing probably takes years to learn, and they're leaving pretty soon."

James looked up, feeling a hand on his shoulder.

Sasuke's obsidian-black eyes were looking slightly apologetic. "Actually, we just got a message saying we need to go right now. So, if you want to say your goodbyes…"

James, Kendall, Carlos, Logan and Katie swarmed Sakura.

"What, no 'don't go's'?" Sakura joked feebly.

"Like that'd ever work," said Carlos.

"But do you really have to go?" Katie blurted.

Sakura ruffled her hair affectionately. "Katie, I was never meant to stay here. You know that."

"Yeah, but-," Katie started to protest.

"No buts," Kendall ordered.

"Kendall, sit down," ordered Sakura, suddenly looking worried. "You look pale."

"I'm fine, Sakura," he protested. But he still allowed her to guide him into an empty chair next to Kelley's bed. "You saw to that."

"Yeah, you've done so much for us over the last two months," said Logan. "Can't we do something before you go?"

"What about a song?" Naruto piped up. "I'm a pretty great singer, if I do say so myself."

James snickered. For at that moment, Sakura had chosen to stomp on Naruto's foot. Simultaneously, Sasuke elbowed him in the ribs.

"Baka," Sasuke said in Japanese. "You're terrible at singing."

"Teme," Naruto retorted. "I am not! You tell him, Sakura!"

Sakura shook her head vigorously. "Oh no, he's horrible."

Now it was Naruto's turn to be comforted by Carlos, who patted him awkwardly on the shoulder as he sulked in the corner.

"Whatever," Naruto sniffed. "I bet Hinata thinks I'm great!"

"She does think you're great, dumbass," Sakura said patiently. "That's why she's in love with you."

James smiled at the dreamy look that came over Naruto's face.

"Girlfriend?" Logan whispered in his ear.

"Must be," James whispered back.

Sakura clapped her hands together authoritatively. "Anyway, Naruto has a point. How about a song?"

"You are a-what did you call it? A boy band, aren't you?" added Sasuke, leaving Naruto's side to put an arm around his girlfriend's waist.

"But what about Kabuto?" protested Kendall. "And Hawk?"

"You mean the guy with the gun?" asked Naruto. "Oh right! I forgot you were kinda out of it for a while after Kabuto disappeared. Yeah, the guy with the gun's in jail."

"He won't come after you again," Sasuke promised. "I saw to that."

"How-," started Gustavo, who'd been surprisingly quiet since they'd all reunited at the hospital.

"You really don't want to know," Sakura assured the man. "Trust me."

Gustavo opened his mouth to protest, but James beat him to it.

"And Kabuto?"

"He's gone," said Sakura. "With Hawk in jail, Kabuto won't get the money he was promised for this contract, so, rest assured, he won't try again."

"He's probably already out of the country," added Naruto. "So quit stalling and give us a song!"

James shared a look with the other three. "Well, the concert was cancelled."

James, Carlos and Logan pushed Kendall's chair to the center of the floor so they could dance around it.

With the thumbs up from Naruto and Sakura, James opened his mouth, and began to sing, the other three following his lead.

Wait a minute before you tell me anything, how was your day?

Cause I've been missing you by my side; yeah

Did I awake you out of your dreams?

I'm sorry, but I couldn't sleep.

You calm me down
There's something 'bout the sound of your voice
I-I-I-I'm never never
Never as far away as it may seem, oh
Soon we'll be together
We'll pick up right where we left off
Paris, London, Tokyo
There's just one thing that I gotta do
(Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone)
(Hello, tuck you in every night)
And I can hardly take another goodbye
Baby, won't be long

You're the one that I'm waiting on

(Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone, woah)

Girl I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide

Girl I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
(Girl I'll be thinking about you)

James, Logan and Carlos danced in a circle around Kendall's chair while singing Worldwide. Out of the corner of his eye, James could see Sakura. Her eyes shone with pride for her new friends. And for a second, James could have sworn he saw her tattoo, the one of a small, purple diamond on her forehead, glowing.

He waved it aside though. It was nothing, right?

Yes, I may meet a million pretty girls that know my name
But don't you worry
Cause you have my heart
It ain't easy to keep on moving city to city
Just get up and go
The show must go on so I need you to be strong
I-I-I-I'm never never
Never as far away as it may seem
No never
Soon we'll be together
We'll pick up right where we left off

Paris, London, Tokyo

There's just one thing that I gotta do
(Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone)
(Hello, tuck you in every night)
And I can hardly take another goodbye
Baby, it won't be long
You're the one that I'm waiting on
(Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone, woah)
Girl I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
Girl I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
(Girl I'll be thinking about you)
Oh
Wherever the wind blows me
Yes you're still the one and only girl on my mind
No, there ain't no one better
(Worldwide)
So always remember
(Worldwide)

Always remember, girl you're mine
Paris, London, Tokyo
There's just one thing that I gotta do
(Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone)
(Hello, tuck you in every night)
And I can hardly take another goodbye
Baby, it won't be long
You're the one that I'm waiting on

Kendall's finishing line trailed off into nothingness, and the little hospital room exploded with cheers and clapping. The four boys looked to the three ninja who requested a song, but when they looked, Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura were nowhere to be found.

"Maybe it's better this way," said Katie as she left the hospital with the four boys. "A clean goodbye, and all that. I mean, it's not like we'll ever see them again."

"Probably," mumbled Kendall.

The other boys muttered dejected sounds of agreement.

But then, James gazed up at the early spring sky. Suddenly, a whirlwind of pink petals circled around them and blew away down the street.

James caught a petal in his hand and showed it to his friends.

It was a cherry blossom.

"Then again," said James. "Probably not."

Willoffire123: We did it!

James: You mean…

Sakura: That's it?

Kendall: We're done?

Carlos: Just like that?

Logan: After all this time?

Willoffire123: Two years to be exact. I'm so glad I managed to keep my deadline!

Katie: You and your deadlines…

Willoffire123: Oh, piffle. You're glad you're done.

Katie: Yeah, I guess…

Willoffire123: Well then, would everyone join me for one last goodbye?

Kendall: You're on.

Everybody: Until next time!
