Me: Hey, guys, sorry to be so mopey and moody last time. I've just been really sad about my grandparent's dog dying, she's still hanging in there, but I don't think she has much time left, when I saw her yesterday she had stopped eating, she won't even eat bread and that's like her favorite food in the world :_( and the vet said that was a sign that…you know… My grandparents are going to take her to the vet today to…the vet said if they didn't she would die painfully of seizures, so they're taking her to the vet to…I can't even bring myself to say it… but she won't be in any more pain and she'll be in a better place.
I don't want to drag you guys down with that sadness, so here's a new chapter. I hope it makes you guys laugh and smile.
BFF: There's a tiny bit of Fax in it too! I'm just so ecstatic! *happy disco dance*
Me: Well, let's get on with the story, I'll answer A/N's at the end.
Max's POV
The night passed by slowly, but at the same time it seemed to end too quickly. Soon the black sky turned purple and blue and then it brightened in the east to an array of warm colors.
Fang's alarm suddenly rung out with an annoying repetitive beep. He jolted out of bed and slammed his hand down on the alarm, silencing it. Then he fell back onto his bed with a groan, closing his eyes and trying to fall back asleep.
I sighed. Fang obviously didn't want to go to school and needed some encouragement. I got up and went over to his bedside.
"Come on sleepy head, you got to go to school." I told him, he groaned in response, not even opening his eyes.
Ugh, this isn't going anywhere.
His eyes were still closed, so I guessed it would be okay to pull off his sheets to wake him up. As long as he didn't see his sheets suddenly pull themselves off the bed seemingly of their own accord, he probably wouldn't freak out. Probably. I bit my lip.
I reached out and took the sheets in hand, it didn't take much concentration to do this, the sheets were extremely light, and so it was a bit easier.
"Fang, come on, get out of bed and get dressed." I said.
"No! I don't wanna…" He mumbled tiredly.
"If you don't get out of bed I'm going to pull off the covers."
He grabbed the covers and brought them closer to them. The sheets phased right through my hands.
Crap! He's got too strong of a hold on them for me to be able to pull them off.
"Argh!" I let out a cry of frustration and then turned. Something caught my eye and I smiled.
Perfect.
I walk across the room and flip on the lights.
Fang's eyes scrunch up and he pulls the covers over his head.
Well there goes that idea.
Fang is so stubborn and annoying! It seems like no matter what I do, he always thwarts me from doing my job.
Lightbulb! Well, it's about time for some payback.
"Fang, you better get up or I am going to annoy the crap out of you until you do." I warned him.
"Uhhh, no." He moaned. I blushed, he sounded so cute. My heart picked up and I could feel it hammering against my ribcage.
Oh, what is wrong with me, I'm supposed to be annoying him right now, not thinking about how cute he is. Wait, why am I even thinking that he's cute?
I shake my head, clearing out any thoughts about how 'cute' Fang is, well most of them.
"Okay, Fang, don't say I didn't warn you." I say going over to his alarm clock and setting it off again. He reaches out to turn it off again, but I grab it and keep it out of Fang's reach.
"Tuuuurrn it offfff!" He groans, reaching out for it. His eyes still closed, he stretches too far reaching for it and tumbles off the bed.
Well, now he's awake. That didn't take long.
I set the alarm clock down on his nightstand. Fang rubs his head and looks up. I shift nervously. He's looking directly in my direction again. It's really unnerving.
"Come on, you have school, remember?" I tell him.
"Ugh, do I have to?" He groans, standing up.
"Yes." I say firmly. "Anyway, you get to see Iggy, right?"
He nods, and his eyes brighten just a bit. That comment seems to have helped some.
"Well, go get dressed so you guys can hang out." I tell him.
And guess what?
He actually listened to me!
He opens the closet and I'm just about to do a happy dance when Fang speaks up:
"Are you going to stay in here while I change?"
I stiffen as I realize what staying in here would mean.
Seeing Fang naked.
"No!" I yell, racing to the door and throwing it open. Why I didn't just phase through it, I don't know. I was too panicked to care.
I DO NOT want to see THAT!
I sprint downstairs and hear Fang chuckle as he closes his door. My heart beats furiously again, but it wasn't from the running.
I slow down my pace and walk into the kitchen. Fang's mom is up and making breakfast. It looks and smells heavenly, and I'm from there, I should know. If I didn't know better, I'd say that Fang's mom was an angel.
A few minutes later, Fang comes down to the kitchen, wearing a long sleeved shirt. He's dressed in all black, no surprise there. He sets his backpack down beside his chair and sits down. Ms. Walker then walks out of the kitchen and sets a heaping pile of food in front of Fang and a smaller one down for herself.
"Thanks mom." Fang says giving her a small smile before chowing down on his food. He's done in two minutes flat.
Dang! That boy is hungry!
He looks around and then his gaze settles in my direction, again. This is really starting to get creepy. His eyebrows furrow in confusion.
"What are you looking at, Fang?" His mother asks. What was he looking at?
Fang whips around. I notice there's a bit of color to his cheeks, which confuses me. Is Fang getting sick or something?
"Uh, nothing." He mumbles. "Can I have seconds?" Fang says, changing the subject.
Seconds? How much is this boy going to eat?
I look over at the heavenly food.
Then again, I don't blame him.
Soon enough Fang finishes his seconds, and his mother, her firsts, and they clear away the table, putting the dishes in the sink and rinsing them off.
"I'll finish the rest later," Fang's mother says to him. "Go ahead and get in the car, we'd better head off to school."
Fang nods in acknowledgement, picking up his backpack and heading out the door. I follow him out the door to the car. He glances into the car at the passenger seat and sees a pile of paper work stacked on top of it and moves past it. He opens up the door to the backseat and throws his backpack in. I slip in past him and he climbs into the car, settling in and buckling up his seat belt.
"Why didn't you eat breakfast?" He asks.
I look over at him. "What?" I reply, startled. How did he know that I didn't eat?
"Why didn't you eat?"
My eyebrows furrow in confusion. Why is he concerned with whether or not I eat?
"I don't need to eat."
It's true. Angels don't require sustenance to survive. All we need is our supply of Light.
"Nonsense, everybody needs to eat." He shakes his head.
"Not me."
"Are you anorexic or something? Because that isn't healthy, you need to eat."
I shift in my seat to face him. "I'm not anorexic, I just don't need to eat to survive."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Crap, I've said too much.
I turn away from him and bring my legs up to my chest, not answering him. I've done enough damage. If I tell him too much, if I reveal what I am, it won't just be Sam coming after him, it will be the Angels too, and if they don't come and Fang does tell people about me, the humans will lock him up in an asylum.
"You should put on your seat belt." Fang says.
"I'll be fine." I reply without thought. How does he even know I don't have a seat belt on? I glance around me. Oh, yeah, because none of the other seats are buckled besides his, but still…
"No, you won't. Put on your seat belt." He demanded.
I turned and looked at him. There was fear in his eyes, a fear I didn't understand.
Then I remembered his nightmare from last night. Maya had taken off her seat belt and she died because of it.
Now I feel really guilty.
"Okay, I'll put it on." I said, taking the seat belt and stretching it across me, I then buckled it and looked up at him.
He sighed and looked relieved. I felt confused.
"Why do you care, Fang?" I asked him.
He turned and looked out the window.
"I just do." He said in a voice barely above a whisper.
Then the driver side door opened and Fang's mother climbed into the car.
"Okay, let's get you to school, shall we?" She said buckling up and backing her car down the driveway.
She pulled out onto the road and drove toward Fang's school.

Me: So what did you guys think? Please review and tell me! PLEASE?! *bambi eyes*
Okay, onto the reviews!
BFF:Duskingdawn, I'm interested to see what exactly Fang is too! I agree that Fang can't be normal, but Wander won't tell me what he is yet.
Me: Because you would tell everybody!
BFF: Would not!
Me: Would too!
BFF: Would not! Oh, by the way, Guest and carcinoGalibur (Guest), Wander's 1D crush, is Liam! It's funny because you guys both guessed the same person as Wander's crush.
Me: See what I mean?
Feather flyer, thank you ;D I'm glad you like both of my stories! *victory lap* Huff, huff, huff, ouch! Next time I need to stretch before I do that.
Shiver282, Fang can see her when she is in his dream, Max just thought he couldn't until he started banging on the car door in the dream, trying to get her out of the car.
carcinoGalibur (Guest), I'm glad you liked the last chapter! I will answer the questions about how Max couldn't phase through the car and how Fang could see her in later chapters, so I can't tell you how that works out just yet, but Max is still an angel in real life as well as in the dream world. I'm glad to hear that you don't plan on picking it back up again. And nope, my crush isn't Louis, its Liam. *blushes*
Guest, I hope that you are okay, and that is very true. Some of the worst events a person could ever go through can make you a better person. They teach you to be more concerned about people and memories than items and trinkets.
BFF: Okay, that's all the reviews
Me: Please review!
BFF: See you guys in the next chapter!
